Kokonoe: Well yes, there were some thoughts on Litchi vs Tsunade. The issue is that it's December. 

Junko: And?

Kokonoe: And we want to end the Season before January. The issue is while we could squeeze in three normal Death Battles in one month, I highly doubt we can do the same with two Death Battles and one Battle Royale. So we're just going to skip to the Battle Royale.

Ann: Um... why not just cancel the Battle Royale?

Kokonoe: Because it's one people have been requesting for a really long time.

Junko: Oh? Now that sounds interesting. Lemme see.

Kokonoe shows Junko the Next Time.

Junko: Hmm... interesting... very interesting indeed... Alright, I'm in! Let's do this! Next Time on Death Battle!

(Note: I apologize in advance for anyone who was excited for Litchi vs Tsunade. I believed if I were to try and get all three done I would end up rushing not only that battle but the Battle Royale and the Season Finale.
