Kaedi: 70 years have passed since the war against the fire nation. Avatar Aangs time had come and in came a new avatar, Avatar Korra.

Aqua: Korra was just 4 years old when she had learned to use three of the four elements, water, earth, and fire. But she wouldn't learn airbending until she was 17.

Kaedi: Being a natural born waterbender means Korra was, of course, very gifted at bending water. She could manipulate it as well as manipulating ice and mist. She could also use water to heal minor wounds. She also managed to achieve a technique known as spirit bending. This technique turns a spirits negative energy into positive energy. It can also work the other way around, turning positive energy into negative energy. While the reverse doesn't hurt a spirit, it could potentially kill a human by destroying their soul.

Aqua: Using Earthbending, Korra can manipulate the earth around her. However, she took this one step further by also becoming the very first metalbending avatar. This allowed her to bend metal. Using it as shields, weapons, or even armor.

Kaedi: Korra can also use fire and air to increase the power and speed of her kicks and punches.

Aqua: Also, Korra can tap into the Avatar state. In this state, Korra can master all four elements. Though she lost her connection with the previous avatars, she seems to have kept her connection to the spirit, Raava. This must have been what helped her Avatar state, and maintaining its experience. Also, she can now go in and out of her Avatar state whenever she wants.

Kaedi: She can also preform energybending which can remove or return ones bending. However, she is most strongest in the spirit world where she can bend the energy within herself and create an Astral projection capable of bending water and shooting a giant lazer out her chest.

Aqua: Also, we should point out that Korra is one tough cookie. She fought a highly skilled airbender while she had a poison metal in her body and she won. And she even managed to survive an explosion powerful enough to create a portal into the spirit world.

Kaedi: However, with all this power, Korra still has her flaws. She's hot headed and can sometimes find herself running into dangerous situations.
