Dana: Hand to hand combat requires speed and strength in order to achieve victory. And nobody knows this better than these two.

Aqua: Knuckles. The punching echidna of Sonic.

Aka: And Might Guy. Naruto's green beast of prey.

Lisa: I'm Lisa! They're Dana, Aka, and Aqua!

Dana: It's time to end this debate once and for all.

Lisa: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!!!

Note: The outcome of this battle is based on my own opinion from the research I have gathered.

Guy was exploring the valley when he somehow found himself exploring a flying island.

Guy: Well this isn't something you see every day. Hm? What's that?

Guy sees a giant emerald out in the open.

Guy: What an interesting item. It's best to examine it.

Guy got close to the giant gem as he went to touch it. A red echidna suddenly flew down from the sky and Guy quickly got back as the echidna got between him and the emerald.

Knuckles: What do you think you're doing?!

Guy: Huh? What kind of weird creature are you?

Knuckles: I'm... an... Echidna!

Knuckles ran at Guy and went for multiple punches but Guy dodged them and hit him with a kick, knocking him back. Knuckles quickly recovered and as soon as he did Guy started throwing shuriken at him. Knuckles started dodging them as he ran at him and went for a punch. Guy dodged it and swung his nunchucks, forcing Knuckles back.

Knuckles: What the hell?!

Guy: Heh. Let's see how you fair against the power of youth!

Guy continued to swing the nunchucks and Knuckles continued to dodge his attacks. Guy made another swing and Knuckles blocked it. He then hit Guy with a double punch, knocking his nunchucks out his hands. He ran at Guy with a boost and knocked him into the forest of Angel Island. Guy quickly recovered and hide in the trees as Knuckles went looking for him.

Knuckles: Where are you you bastard?!

Knuckles stopped running and looked around as Guy hid behind a tree.

Guy: "This guy's good. He's definitely not one to be underestimated."

Guy went to look at him but realized he was gone.

Guy: "What?"

Guy walked to where Knuckles was at and looked around.

Guy: That's odd. He was just right here.

Guy looked down and Knuckles sprouted from the ground. Hitting Guy with a heavy uppercut. Guy was knocked back but managed to land on his feet.

Guy: Hmph. It seems you leave me with no choice. Third Gate! Gate of Life! Open!

Guys skin turned red as he dashed at him. Knuckles used thunder arrow to try to strike a lightning bolt at him but Guy dodged it and appeared right behind him.

Knuckles: "He's fast!"

Guy kicked Knuckles in the back, sending him flying. He then ran in front of him and kicked him into the air. He jumped up and kicked him to the ground. Guy then started to spin, creating a strong wind around him as he goes to dive at Knuckles.

Guy: One-Man Primary Lotus!

Guy dived down as his attack was strong enough to shake Angel Island. But Knuckles managed to use the Chaos Emeralds to turn super fast enough to block the attack, grab him by the leg, and throw him back.

Guy: What?

Knuckles: Alright bub! Bring it on!

Guy: Hmph. 6th gate! Gate of View! Open!

The two of them started going for powerful strikes at light speeds. Knuckles punches were causing explosions that knocked Guy back.

Guy: Fighting fire with fire! Morning Peacock!

Guy started shooting fire balls out his fist. Knuckles started to dodge them until one finally hit him and knocked him back. Causing him to get hit by several more.

Knuckles: Gah!

Guy: It's over! Seventh gate! Gate of Wonder! Open!

Guy glowed green as every inch of sweat evaporated in his body. He quickly dashed at him.

Guy: Daytime Tiger!

The air around Guy's fist formed the head of a tiger and Guy used that to hit Knuckles with a punch so hard, it could be felt throughout the entire island as it caused a huge explosion and sent Knuckles flying into a boulder. Guy was exhausted as the transformation put a huge strain on his body.

Guy: ...Well... at least it's finally over...

Knuckles: Think again!

Guy: What?!

Among the rubble, Knuckles had turned the Chaos Emeralds into Super Emeralds and used them to transform into Hyper Knuckles.

Guy: "Impossible! How did he survive that?! It looks like I have no choice..."

Guy took his thumb and stabbed it into his chest.

Guy: Eighth gate... gate of death... open!

Guy's blood emanated a flaming aura of red stream as it turned all pours of his body red. He starts to get down.

Guy: Amass...

Guy suddenly emitted an enormous amount of red steam as his chakra took the form of a burning red dragon.

Knuckles: What the... what is this?!

Guy: Night Guy. Flow!

Guy dashed at him with such a high speed that the space around them distorted.

Knuckles: What?!

Guy hit him with a devastating kick that caused a huge shockwave on impact and sending Knuckles crashing through the ground. However, thanks to his hyper form he was unharmed. Guy saw this as his attack left him heavily injured.

Guy: W-What?!

Knuckles: Take this!

Knuckles ran at him and quickly did the gliding shockwave attack. Creating a huge earthquake and completely annihilating Guy. Knuckles turned back and looked at the carnage it caused.

Knuckles: ... Man I have a mess to clean up...

Lisa: Holy shit! Who knew trying to tame an angry echidna would be so destructive! Ten out of ten!

Dana: This was an evenly close matchup. Both Guy and Knuckles had immense speed, strength, and power. Though Guy was much faster, it all came down to the limitations of their abilities.

Aqua: Yeah, since both Knuckles super and Hyper form are virtually invulnerable, they were able to help Knuckles get the edge he needed to keep up with Guy. As Guy didn't have any real way of getting around that unless he waited for Knuckles to turn back.

Aka: Also, the eight inner gates puts a huge strain on Guys body while for Knuckles, he doesn't need to worry about a drawback like that and just keep punching.

Lisa: Looks like this guy just got a knuckle sandwich!

Danna: The winner is Knuckles.

Lisa: Next time on Death Battle!

Akame: ... Eliminate.

Kirito: This weapon is pitiful. It's too light. Has no reach. Guess what? It's more than I'll need to kill you!
