Dizzy: Some may know Es as the guardian of the Azure gate. But go back one hundred and fifty five years ago and you'll learn that she wasn't always that way. Created by Sōichirō Unomaru, Embryo Storage was originally created to be a substitute vessel for the embryo. But she was deemed a failure due to her eyes being blue and not red. Despite this, Sōichirō noticed she can talk and communicate with others which never happened to the other experiments. Fascinated by this, Sōichirō decided to keep her. Giving her the name, Es.

Junko: Skip a hundred and something years and she's the guardian of the Azure gate. And a very good one at that. I mean she's a legal loli carrying a blade twice the size of her body.

Akame: Es' blade is a legendary legacy weapon called Crystalline Sealing Blade: Murakumo. Able to destroy a union's crystal in a single slash, this blade is sentient and has the ability to choose its its owner. If it feels it cannot trust someone, no force in the universe will allow that person to use it.

Dizzy: Since Es is seen as the conciliator, the blade is normally sheathed. Though the blade itself is capable of absorbing the surrounding magic elements and store it within the sheath.

Junko: That's not all. With the power of the Embryo, Es has immeasurable speed. She can take hits from Susano'o and is strong enough to catch blows from Ragna.

Dizzy: Es is also capable of using Event Interference.

Akame: Event Interference, also known as Phenomenon Intervention, is an act of interference on existence and events. An interference occurs when someone with a will observes the event. This ability can change its targets state from exist to non-exist and vise versa.

Junko: However, if it cannot determine if the target actually "exists" or not, it is almost impossible to preform an Event Interference. Targets with the Will of Power and targets who exist outside of reason are also resistant to it to an extent.

Dizzy: Es can also use her Drive, an individual ability that each character in the Blazblue series can use. Es is no different as her Drive is called Crest Arts.

Junko: This allows her to transform the after trails of her sword swings into beautiful and sharp crests. She can use this ability to summon crest spikes, launch projectiles, and enhance her attacks.

Dizzy: She has multiple attacks using this Drive. Like Type: Slasher where she envelops herself into a crest circle then powerfully charges at her opponent. One hit could pierce her opponent for massive damage.

Akame: Type: Enhancer enhances all her attacks, abilities, and specials to an unlimited degree for a short period of time.

Junko: And my favorite, her most powerful technique. Her astral finish, Type: Executioner. With this, Es unlocks her blades true form and consumes all the magic in the surrounding area. This slash will instantly destroy the opponent and space along with it.

Dizzy: Another thing Es has is her massive intellect, which helped her beat Es-N who could read her every move.

Junko: With speed, strength, power, and intelligence, it's no wonder Es is the ultimate soilder.
