Aqua: Water, Earth, Fire, Air. Long ago, the four nations lived in harmony. Then, everything changes when the fire nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them. But when the world needed him most, he vanished.

Kaedi: Well, that's because he was trapped in an iceberg for one hundred years. And since he was so young, he needed to train if he wanted to save the world.

Aqua: And so he did. Luckily he was already super skilled at airbending. Using it he can manipulate wind, increase his speed, or even help him glide in the air with the help of his glider staff. He can also use my favorite, waterbending. Which allows him to manipulate not just water, but mist and ice as well. However, he needs water to be present in order to bend it.

Kaedi: Using earthbending he can manipulate stone and rock, as well as use the seismic sense, which allows him to sense the area around him. And using fire bending, Aang can manipulate flames, shooting them from his mouth, feet, and hands. Though he hasn't fully mastered firebending, he has been able to use it to redirect lightning.

Aqua: And when he's really in a pickle, he taps into his Avatar state. Which gives him the speed, strength, knowledge, and durability of all the previous Avatars. In this state he can competently master all four elements.

Kaedi: this state also alowed him to do what is known as energybending which allows him to take away and return ones bending. However, if he's not careful it could kill him. Actually, going into the Avatar state in general is risky since once you die in the Avatar state, all ties with the previous lives will disappear and the cycle will be broken.

Aqua: Another thing about Aang is that, being an air nomad, he's completely against killing. Which is why he would mostly avoid attacks before actually attacking. Not to mention that it's not that hard to knock him out. Especially in his base form.

Kaedi: But that doesn't change the fact that Aang is definitely a great Avatar.

Aqua: You know Kaedi, we really make a great team.

Kaedi: Definitely. Too bad it's temporary.
