Cliché #81: the FMC=waitress; her love interest=rich hot guy who meets FMC at the restaurant she works at (recommended by @InfernoDancer)

I was about to walk to the table I was supposed to serve with two important looking businessmen dressed in sleek suits sitting there when my manager stopped me.

"Those are super important people with a lot of money and power, so don't do anything offensive," he informed me. I nodded in understanding, now interested in the people seated there.

One of them was a handsome young man around my age with clean brown hair with not a single strand out of place and icy blue eyes. The other was another young man who was just as hot. They both looked up at me as I approached them with a smile.

"Hi, I'll be your waitress today. Can I start you guys off with something to drink?" I asked them.

"Water," the one with the striking blue eyes said immediately. The other man ordered the same thing. I went to retrieve their drinks and went back to their table. Suddenly, I tripped on nothing because I'm clumsy as fuck and the water cups went spilling all over the man with blue eyes.

The restaurant was suddenly very quiet as the man looked up at me with a harsh glare. He breathed sharply through his nose as I just stood there dumbly.

"Peasants are so clumsy," he grumbled to the other man. Suddenly, I was seeing red.

"What did you say?" I asked with clenched fists. He noticed my anger and smirked.

"You heard what I said. Now apologize," he demanded.

I stood there for a moment, staying quiet. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see my manager approaching us.

I didn't want to apologize. I mean, this guy was a total rich douche bag. And even though I need to have this job to pay off my debts, I decided to do something super rash.

I grabbed a nearby plate and slammed it into the guy's head with all the strength I could muster.

He was immediately knocked unconscious. My manager finally reached me, and he looked furious.

"What the fuck, Natalie, you dumb bitch! You aren't supposed to knock rich, powerful, hot guys like him unconscious! I'm going to fire you now, which will lead you to find a job that will force you to interact with this man you just almost killed and you guys will fall in love," my manager informed me.

So according to Wattpad books, if you want to meet a rich hot guy just become a waitress and offend him :))))
