An Interview with the "Delusions" Cast & Special Announcement

Hello again, everyone! My name is Amy, but most know me on Wattpad as xXAmy_CXx. I have been on the site for nearly three years now, writing a mixture ranging from FanFiction to horror to mystery/thriller with a twist of romance. Most of my past works have been removed from the site either due to writer's block or other reasons, but I currently have two works I have no intention of taking down up on my profile. One is the novel "Delusions", and the other is a short story titled "Fatal Love", which I entered into a contest last year.

As of January 13, 2017, my psychological thriller, "Delusions", has reached a peak of #34 in the mystery/thriller genre. To celebrate, I wanted to do something besides release a new excerpt from the novel. Below is an interview with the cast (characters) of "Delusions", and near the end of the interview, one of the characters is going to release news of an exciting surprise coming your way this summer.

To those of you who are currently all caught up with what is going on in "Delusions", this interview will be based before any character deaths or major plot twists. This interview can be read without there being too much of a spoiler from the novel!

Right before we begin, however, I just wanted to say thank you to each and every one of my fans who have continuously been so kind and helpful and encouraging about my works. It really means a lot to me and I can never thank you all enough! Please, enjoy! (And make sure to check out "Delusions" if you haven't already!)

AUTHOR: Welcome to the first live interview of the cast from "Delusions"! I'm your host, (also the author of this novel), and with me today are some very special people I couldn't have created "Delusions" without! Please welcome Abigale Fern, Tiffany Tuckerman, Julia Holland, Mike Klasson, and Damien Thackston!

*audience applauds as cast takes a seat*

AUTHOR: So, Abigale. What's it like in Arcata? Does it compare to San Francisco?

ABIGALE: *laughs nervously* No, San Francisco certainly doesn't compare to Arcata. In fact, is it okay if I come back and move in with you, Tiff?

TIFFANY: Of course, bestie! Wh—

JULIA: Wait, holdup! Who is this Tiff you speak of?

MIKE: *rolls eyes at Julia* She is obviously the friend Abigale keeps blabbing about.

AUTHOR: Wait, you all don't know Tiffany?

EVERYONE ELSE EXCEPT ABIGALE: No . . .

AUTHOR: Oh, dear. *laughs evilly* I guess that would be my fault.

ABIGALE: What do you mean by "your fault"? And why did you laugh?

DAMIEN: Relax, sweetheart. I'm sure she didn't mean anything by it. *Glares at author* Right?

AUTHOR: Um . . . no, of course I didn't mean anything by it.

DAMIEN: *grumbles something intelligible*

AUTHOR: Anyway, next question! Mike, have you always liked Abigale from the first moment you saw her? Or, are your feelings for her purely to get back at your ex?

MIKE: What kind of question is that? Of course, my feelings are real!

DAMIEN: Yeah, sure. Really seemed like it when you ran away after I beat the crap out of you for hurting her.

ABIGALE: *glares at author* Why would you ask a question like that? Honestly!

AUTHOR: I'm just giving the people what they want, dearie.

MIKE: Oh, yeah? Do you want me to prove I have real feelings for her?

DAMIEN: Go ahead, pretty boy.

MIKE: Pretty boy? Did you just—

*both boys get out of chairs, sizing each other up*

JULIA: Boys, sit down!

TIFFANY: Geez, Abby. I wish I had two boys fighting over me like that.

ABIGALE: No offense, Tiff, but shut up, please.

JULIA: *stands up and grabs Mike by the ear* I told you to sit down!

*Total fight breaks out between the cast*

Five minutes later . . .

AUTHOR: Sorry, folks! We had to take a quick commercial break. We're back with the cast of "Delusions", and I've learned a few things about what not to ask them on air.

DAMIEN: I'm pretty sure you should've seen that coming.

AUTHOR: *shrugs* No matter. So, Tiffany. What is life like without your best friend by your side?

TIFFANY: I'm not answering that question.

ABIGALE: Awe! I've missed you too, Tiff!

JULIA: . . . What about me?

ABIGALE: Jules, you know I love you just as much as I love Tiff.

TIFFANY: But . . . you've known Julia for way less than you've known me!

ABIGALE: I know. I'm trying to treat everyone equal here.

AUTHOR: And that is very noble of you, Abigale. I just have a few more questions before we wrap this up. One, have you figured out who DarkHeart434 really is yet?

ABIGALE: You're the only one who freaking knows that! Why are you asking me? Actually, I have a better question. Why are you trying to ruin my life?!

AUTHOR: *laughs nervously* It makes good entertainment?

ABIGALE: Entertainment? You think I'm entertainment?

AUTHOR: Well . . . technically, I created your entire existence.

ABIGALE: Are you kidding me? That's your explanation for ruining my life?

AUTHOR: *chuckles inwardly* Trust me, it's about to get a whole lot worse.

ABIGALE: What?

AUTHOR: Nothing!

DAMIEN: Can we just get this wrapped up? I have some stuff to do.

ABIGALE: What stuff?

DAMIEN: Nothing.

ABIGALE: I'm starting to feel like nobody tells me anything.

JULES: Welcome to my world.

TIFFANY: Abby doesn't tell me anything anymore. She barely calls. Why are you complaining?

JULES: I guess when you put it that way . . .

ABIGALE: Can we just move on to the next question please?

AUTHOR: Certainly! This question is for Damien.

DAMIEN: Great.

AUTHOR: Don't give me that attitude. I think everyone would like to know why you are appearing at random places at random times when it just so happens that Abigale is around those places, too.

DAMIEN: I don't know what you're talking about.

AUTHOR: Oh? Well, what about the fact that you, a twenty-one year old man, is looking for a relationship with an almost seventeen year old girl?

DAMIEN: I'm not that much older than her . . .

ABIGALE: That question was uncalled for.

DAMIEN: I don't have to answer this either.

AUTHOR: Alright, then. I guess I can't force you. Well . . . I can, but I won't. Not today.

DAMIEN: Not ever.

AUTHOR: *mutters* That's what you think.

DAMIEN: What?

AUTHOR: Nothing.

TIFFANY: Wait, he's just about five years older that you, Abby? Are you crazy?

ABIGALE: *glares*

AUTHOR: I can see that tensions are beginning to run high. How about you explain what the surprise is so we can wrap this up, Damien?

DAMIEN: Do I have to?

AUTHOR: Yes.

DAMIEN: *sighs* Okay. The author of our book, "Delusions", has an exciting surprise for you all. A new book is in the works, something much different from any of her other novels.

ABIGALE: I, for one, am very excited to read. The title of the book will be called "Love's Consequences", and you can find the official cover for the story (created by: @heartsick) in the media section of this chapter! Tiff, would you like to quote the unofficial excerpt?

TIFFANY: Sure! Sorry if my reading skills are a little rusty. *clears throat*

Iris McCarthy and Shane Watson were perfect for each other. At least, that's what everyone would say to Iris. She used to think so, too. That is, until the lying and sneaking around started.

Chelsea Flores had a secret. One that would break Iris' heart beyond repair. She swore she'd never tell a soul, but will the pressure break her down?

Brad Collier had a crush. He'd watched her for years, trying to build up the nerve to talk to his mystery girl. Will he gain the courage to talk to her, and in doing so, gain her affection? Or, will it be too late for the both of them?

Before Iris knows it, she's thrown into a world of secrets, drama, and painstaking heartache. Thanks to the world of adolescence, she learns that falling in love can either build you up, or destroy you irrevocably.

DAMIEN: Sounds too cheesy for my taste.

ABIGALE: It's actually going to be a realistic book on realistic relationships and breakups that commonly occur in high school. (But it will revolve around one main character).

MIKE: I think I'll read it!

AUTHOR: *mutters something intelligible*

MIKE: What?

AUTHOR: I was just saying that the book will be released this summer (after "Delusions" has been completed).

MIKE: Well, I'll be around to read it then, right?

AUTHOR: No comment.

MIKE: WHAT?

ABIGALE: Author, what are you trying to say?

AUTHOR: *laughs nervously* I think it's about time we wrap this up now! I hope you enjoyed this first edition with the cast of "Delusions"! Hope to see—

ABIGALE: NO! YOU TELL ME WHAT YOU ARE PLANNING RIGHT NOW!

MIKE: Please don't kill me, Author.
