knightsrachel Presents: Wattpad Wife Swap

Wattpad Wife Swap

Hi guys! Welcome to my post. My name is Rachel, I'm known around here on Wattpad as knightsrachel. And no, my name isn't Rachel Knight. Common mistake.

I've teamed up with one of my good friends Ali Novak, fallzswimmer here on Wattpad, to bring you guys a special Wattpad Block Party post this time around. Have you ever wanted to see a Walker/Walter crossover? Well now is your chance!

If you haven't read Ali's story yet, you should definitely head back and check that out. Her book features her main character, Jackie, along with four from the Walker clan, Ethan, Cody, Mason, and Carson. Quite the bunch!

My story will consist of my main character, Zoe, along with four from the Walter clan, Danny, Cole, Alex, and Isaac. Welcome to the Wattpad Wife Swap ;) Confusing, huh?

Also, before we get started, I'd just like to give a HUGE shoutout to Kelly for all of the hard work she's put into this Block Party. We can't possibly fathom what goes on behind the scenes for this. So thanks for everything Kelly!

And now, without further adieu, I bring you the Wattpad Wife Swap.

"Are we going or what?" I asked, leaning against the hallway outside of Mason and Carson's hotel room.

"You know how Carson is," Cody said, biting back a yawn. "The last thing he wants is to go to this baseball game in the first place, let alone get out of bed to go."

"Why do you guys continually put up with this?" I groaned. "I have things to do."

"And what do your oh-so-important plans consist of exactly?" Ethan asked, an eyebrow raising in question.

"I don't have a baseball cap for the game today. And my hair is not going to handle this well without one."

Mason come out of his shared hotel room, offering me a bright smile. "He's coming, I promise." He bent down and pecked me on the lips, earning a groan of disgust from Cody and Ethan.

"Shut the hell up," Mason ordered, glancing over his shoulder.

"Alright, well while you guys continue to wait for Sleeping Beauty I'm going to go downstairs and locate a baseball cap. They have to be selling them somewhere in the hotel, it's game day after all."

"Are you sure?" Mason asked me, his lips twisting into a pout.

"I'm not waiting for him any longer, this is ridiculous." And with a huff, I turned on my heel and headed towards the elevators, heading down to the lobby.

As I thought, there was a kiosk downstairs filled to the brim with New York Yankees gear, including a baseball cap suited to my liking.

And even then Sleeping Beauty himself still hadn't made his appearance downstairs.

With a long sigh I took a seat in one of the lobby lounge chairs, plugging in my headphones and tuning into some Apple Music as I awaited their arrival. I clipped my baseball cap to the back of my jeans, deciding against wearing it now.

As I was texting Melanie, informing her of my annoyance with Carson, I glanced up to see a flash of blonde hair pass through the lobby, followed closely by jet black hair and what looked to be brunette. They were all decked out in their Yankee gear, and I was grateful to see them dressed and ready to go.

Those boys made it down to the lobby and didn't even bother to text me. Typical.

I continued to text Melanie as I followed the four of them out of the hotel. I was too annoyed to interact with them, instead keeping my distance as I listened to some classic Disney music to calm my nerves.

And then up ahead of me the guys abruptly stopped, and who I thought was Ethan whipped around to face me.

Except it wasn't Ethan at all.

I immediately ripped my headphones out, coming to a full stop myself.

The blond-haired boy smirked at me. "I know I have a nice ass, babe, but I'm not a fan of stalkers."

I couldn't help but let my jaw drop as the black-haired boy behind him snickered.

"Get a grip," I said, placing my hand on my hip. "You're not as impressive as you think you are."

The blond-haired boy didn't seem to appreciate that much.

This time the black-haired boy spoke up. "You're the one following us."

"I'm not following you, I thought you were someone else."

"You thought the four of us were a different group of four guys?" the blond-haired boy questioned, disbelief in his voice.

Well, yeah. When you say it out loud it does sound a little ridiculous.

I shot Mason a text message, pleading for him to come help and save me from this embarrassing situation.

"I'm sorry for the misunderstanding," I apologized. "I've got to go and find my own group."

The boy with the baseball cap glanced between the group of boys and then at me. His blond hair was barely visible beneath the cap, but he looked to be a younger version of the older blond.

"Do you know how to get back?"

"Just go back the way we came?" I suggested, before glancing back over my shoulder.

Not that I know what way that is. I'd been on my phone the entire time, completely zoned out.

"See? She's fine," the black-haired kid said. "Now let's go, we'll be late."

"We're not leaving her stranded on the streets of New York," the baseball cap kid argued.

"Then call her a cab or something."

"We'll lead you back," the baseball cap kid promised. "I'm Alex."

The older blond immediately pushed forward, extending his hand towards me. "I'm Cole."

I shook his hand, puzzled by his immediate reaction.

He gave me a onceover, offering me a bright smile followed by a swift wink. I immediately withdrew my hand, rolling my eyes.

"Do we actually have to walk all the way back to the hotel again?" the black-haired boy complained. "Can I just wait here?"

"We're going," Cole mumbled. "That's Isaac," he informed me, jerking his thumb towards the black-haired kid. "And that's Danny." He pointed to the boy with scruffy, dirty blond hair and a bit of a five o'clock shadow, who hadn't said a word throughout the entire exchange, instead standing there with his hands shoved in his pockets.

Isaac stared at me for a few moments. "Well at least I know it'll be a good time."

I raised an eyebrow at him as Cole laughed. "What's that supposed to mean?"

Isaac offered me a wide smile. "Redheads are known for their feisty personality. Does that translate to the bedroom?"

Danny gave a good shove to Isaac, shaking his head.

"Ignore him," Alex said. "That's what we do."

I could feel the heat in my cheeks, and I began walking alongside the boys in silence. I didn't know how to follow that up.

Cole and Alex looked to me, waiting for me to say something.

"Nice to meet you guys. I'm Zoe."

As soon as I spoke, it was like I'd lifted the tension surrounding the five of us.

"Nice to meet you, Zoe," Alex said, flashing me a smile.

"Okay, so we just walk back two blocks and then cross," Cole instructed.

"No, it's three blocks," Alex argued.

"I'm leading this rescue mission, but thanks for your input."

I dropped back a bit, letting the two of them try and figure it out amongst themselves. I ended up walking between Isaac and Danny, the three of us walking in silence.

"So are you guys all friends?" I asked.

No answer.

"Well that's fun."

I kicked a lone rock on the sidewalk, watching as it skipped a few times before knocking Alex in the back of the heel.

He glanced over his shoulder, and Isaac immediately pointed at me.

"Sorry."

Cole fell back a few steps, and Isaac immediately started jogging to catch up with Alex.

"So I'm curious," Cole said, a smile playing on his lips, "how did you get us confused with another group of four guys?"

All I could do was shrug. "I'm here with a group of four guys. In fact, I'm sure that my boyfriend is very unhappy right now."

I'd complained about them making me wait, and now they were probably searching around for me. I was never going to hear the end of this.

Cole nodded, as though my story didn't sound that strange. "If my girlfriend, Jackie, disappeared with a group of guys, I would probably be unhappy too."

I glanced around, but didn't happen to notice another female in our proximity. "Where is your girlfriend?"

"She's meeting us at the stadium."

We came to a stop at the crosswalk, cars whizzing past us as we waited.

"So I'm curious," Alex said, turning to face me. "How did you end up following us?"

"Original," Cole scoffed.

Alex rolled his eyes. "Real freaking mature. It was just a question."

"Yeah, one that I just asked."

If I wanted petty fights, I would've stayed back with the Walker brothers. "Can you guys not?"

Both Alex and Cole glanced toward me in confusion.

"I have to hear these stupid, trivial fights all the time back home. I'd really appreciate it if today could be different."

Alex and Cole both seemed at a loss for words, unsure as to what to say to a strange, redhead insulting them.

The walk sign appeared on the crosswalk, and the five of us trooped across the street in silence.

Isaac fell into step with me. "So are you and your boyfriend serious?"

I stared at him for a few moments, confused as to whether he was joking or not.

"Because I bet I could show you a much better time than he-"

Isaac was immediately cut off by Danny. "That's enough."

I was grateful for Danny, because if Isaac had kept speaking I would have probably shoved him off the sidewalk. Or worse.

Probably worse.

"Does any of this look familiar to you?" Alex asked me, gesturing toward the buildings surrounding us.

"I honestly have no idea," I said, offering him a tight smile. "I wasn't paying attention on our way."

"It probably doesn't look the least bit familiar because we're lost," Alex said as he glared at the back of Cole's head.

Cole didn't turn around, instead just raising his middle finger up into the air.

"So you said you were here with your boyfriend?" Alex asked me.

I nodded. "Yeah, and three of his brothers. He has six in total."

Isaac laughed at that. "Sounds familiar."

I glanced toward Alex in question.

"There's ten of us," Alex said, gesturing toward his brothers. "And then Isaac and Lee, our cousins."

I must have a neon sign above me that attracts families filled with males.

"Where are you guys from?" I asked.

Because if they were from California too, I would have to move. I couldn't be surrounded by nineteen guys at any given moment.

"Colorado," he informed me. "A much different city than the Big Apple."

That's a relief.

"You guys must have a lot of POTential," I said, causing Alex to roll his eyes. "But weed better not make such rash decisions."

"Good one."

I couldn't help but laugh.

"Are you two done flirting?" Cole called out over his shoulder. "Because we're here."

Alex's face flushed red and I just rolled my eyes. I knew how to handle cocky.

But Isaac beat me to it. "Are those your blue balls talking?"

All of us but Cole laughed our way into the lobby. And I immediately saw the fire department standing by the elevators.

"What do you think is going on?" I asked, turning to face Cole.

But he was already gone, making his way over to question the firefighters.

"Okay, never mind then."

I still didn't see Mason or the rest of the guys downstairs, so I sent Mason another text.

As my second text sent, the elevator doors opened. And out stepped a curly-haired brunette.

"Jackie?" I heard Danny ask behind me.

And then out stepped my four idiots.

I immediately rushed toward Mason. "Are you okay? What happened?" I wrapped my arms tightly around him. "Were you guys stuck in there?"

"Hello to you too," Ethan said. "I'm fine, don't worry."

I chose to ignore him as Mason bent down to kiss me. "Everything's fine, Zo. We got stuck in the elevator."

"And this idiot tried to climb out of the ceiling," Cody said, slapping Carson upside the head. "What the hell is wrong with you?"

I stood up on my toes, kissing Mason once again. "I'm just glad that you're okay." I turned to face the rest of the guys. "All of you."

"Now you remember us," Ethan said, with a growing smirk.

Cody nodded to someone off in the distance, and I turned to see the curly-haired brunette, who was probably Jackie, waving him over.

Mason's hand wrapped around mine as we trooped over toward her, and I couldn't help but smile.

"Cole, this is Mason, Carson, Ethan, and Cody. They were trapped in the elevator with me."

The guys all exchanged handshakes as Jackie and I traded names and hugs.

Jackie turned to face the guys. "I know you guys already have tickets, but we have a suite and you're more than welcome to join us. There's plenty of room."

Carson was already nodding before the rest of us even had the chance to speak. And then he had the courtesy to glance toward us. "What do you guys think?"

"Sounds good to me," Cody spoke up, causing Ethan to shrug and Mason to slightly nod.

I guess we're doing this then.

"Are we leaving soon?" Alex called from the couch he was sharing with Isaac. "We've already missed the first two innings."

"Yeah," Jackie said, her hand intertwining with Cole's, "let's go watch some baseball."

Mason slid his sunglasses on before unclipping my hat from the back of jeans, pulling it onto his own head.

"I don't think so," I warned, causing Mason to give me a wicked smile.

I ended up chasing him down the sidewalk.
