Moisa71 Presents: The Outcast
What happens when you're the target of pain and torture? Angel doesn't have the answer... But, will Zac MCclain?
What inspired me to write this book?
In all honesty when this question was asked by my cousin, I wanted to say I felt sudden inspiration and put pen to paper, but the real story is.... I wanted to get a little better at writing and decided to participate in a Wattpad group where they had cute lessons based on dialogue, description and such and this story was the one I used in the descriptive lesson. Recently when I went back through my old stories I found it and decided I couldn't let the story die and took that as a perfect initiative to continue Angels journey.
Why do you think others should read this story?
I think others should read this story because it's one of my most fun to write and really allows readers to interact with it. In this story it's more flexible for me to incorporate different ideas that I haven't been able to in some of my older stories, and it allows readers to reach me easily in making super out there book ideas where I can incorporate that into this Fantasy, Sci-Fish Romance novel.
ORIGINAL First chapter of The Outcast:
"Geek."
"Nerd."
"Freak."
I blinked back the tears as the words continued to be thrown at me. I would not allow those monsters to see me cry. Sighing, I sadly entered my first class 'Hero 101'. The bell rang just as I set foot into the class.
"Alright, everyone take a seat," Mr. Hemmings announced.
I sighed taking a seat all the way in the back, farthest from the rest of the students. It was the last day of senior year and I was dreading every second of it, only thing that kept me going was the thought soon this torture would be over soon.
"Since it is the last day, you all can just relax."
The class cheered and I sighed begrudgingly.
' No one would be talking to me anyway, so I might as well read.'
I pulled out the latest book I'd started and began to read it.

Most of the day ended being the same. Teachers here never did much on the last day, so most of the seniors skipped. I, on the other hand, did not have that luxury. If I skipped one day, my parents would literally skin me alive.
I was finally on the last chapter of the book and I sighed in relief. I never knew that I could read so much in one day. I felt a tap on my shoulder and willed myself not to turn around, it was probably just one of my tormentors again they'd been doing this all day.
"Hey..."
I finally gave up and turned around.
"Yes?" I mumbled, my eyes still on the ground.
No one had ever really wanted to talk to me after what happened with Cindy. If this person was talking to me now, things wouldn't end well for them. Things never ended well for anyone who talked to me. Not a single one of the people who spoke to me in the past had ever made it through the torment. My bullies would go to any length to keep me alone. At times, I didn't understand how this could be a superhero school.
"Can you look me in the eyes?"
I groaned and looked up into the eyes of.... ZAC MCCLAIN!!! He had been my crush ever since freshmen year.
"Uh... Uh.... is there something you needed?" I asked stupidly.
"Would you like to go on a date with me?"
I felt my eyes pop out of their sockets.
"Did you say.... Date?" I gasped, along with a few onlookers.
"Yeah, a date." He laughed.
"Is this another prank?" I whispered.
He shook his head at me, but I just couldn't believe him. There was no way he'd ask me out.
"Just give me a chance, Clarissa." He sighed.
I nodded dumbfounded.
He actually knew my name...
The bell rang and students quickly piled out... Well, all except for Zac.
"Come on, I'll walk you home." He smiled.
I nodded cautiously.
I still didn't trust him, but I'd go along with this for now. I picked up my bag, as did Zac, and we exited the class. The halls were suspiciously empty which made me nervous. Zac had a look on his face which I didn't quite understand.
I gulped taking a step away from him. He looked at me weirdly before water balloons began making their way at us from every direction. Zac jumped back and I sighed.
"You've officially been targeted." A voice came from down the hall.
"I'm sorry," I muttered, before making my way down the hall, leaving Zac behind like all the others who had tried getting close to me.

As some of you who hopefully have taken a look at the first chapter of The Outcast, you will see the main character's name was changed due to me just feeling as though the name Angel would better suit the actress I use to potray the main character (Dover Cameron-Actress).
