I live outside of the Windy City, I like rainbows and butterflies and I love to write dark romance.

What genre do you write in? Why are you drawn to the genre?

Dark Romance (mature)

What is your most memorable moment on Wattpad?

When I got my first read! Lame as it may sound but I didn't really understand what Wattpad was all about.

Do you think that writing on a platform such as Wattpad has helped you grow as a writer?

I've met wonderful people and through them my writing has grown by leaps and bounds.

What advice can you give to those that are just starting out on their online writing journey?

Write what you love. Don't try to remix someone else's story no matter what you do to it, it's not yours.

What books have most influenced your life most?

Jaid Black's "The Empress New Dress"

Recipe Name: Red Wine Sangria

Is there a special story behind the recipe? If so can you tell us a little bit about it?

Before writing The Academy Book One I drank one of these and was struck by inspiration.

Ingredients

¼ cup sugar

¼ cup lime juice

2 bottles Sweet Red Wine

½ cup tequila

1 cup orange juice

1 cup of pineapple, frozen sliced

1 whole mango, frozen sliced

1 cup strawberries, frozen sliced

Directions

Add sugar and water to a small saucepan. Over medium high heat bring the mixture to a boil. Cook until sugar is fully dissolved. Allow to cool.

Add red wine, tequila, lime and orange juice into a large picture and stir

Add in cooled simple syrup and stir.

You can service this drink immediately because you froze the fruit to keep the drink cold or you can refrigerate it. Mix fruit before servicing.
