CONTEST #18: BACK TO SCHOOL

*LE DRAMATIC GASP*

Luckily I have not started mine yet, and some of you probably already had. I hope this idea of mine would be good enough to make you want to join guys.

Basically, the whole idea is to bring subjects back to life. You're simply going to draw a character representing your favorite subject. Whether it's Arts, Chem, P.E or French, go crazy with it. There are lots of types of classes. Add twists. SHOW me the subject. PORTRAY it through art. I must be able to tell which one at one glance.

Your character doesn't have to be human. It's yours to decide. He/she can be a blue-skinned alien, an exotic hybrid or chimera, or a chibi. Be creative and original with your customization.

RULES:

-CHAPTER TITLE MUST BE MY USERNAME: -TheOtakuNerd-

-Lunch Break isn't a subject, for those who are wondering

-Subjects only, it is the theme. Not curricular activities or clubs (maybe in another contest but if you want that let me know)

-Digital or Traditional are accepted. Any types of Art.

-Must be colored.

-Dark outlined, meaning the final entry is not drawn by a pencil. A dark pen, or anything as log as it's visible.

-Previous winners cannot win, but they can participate. Honorable mentions can win and participate.

-One entry, one character per person.

TIPS TO WIN:

Don't draw a very plain one, please. Make it creative and pretty :)  Chin up, don't hesitate to join this contest and don't feel intimidated by other entries. People here are very supportive, they won't criticise your art. Also, this contest serves as entertainement. This isn't an American race for boxing day. So don't be too judgemental of your own art. Practice makes perfect.

How to know if I've seen your entry?

I always reply to either your private message or in your art book. Do not fret right away if I don't reply quickly even though it has been a week you've submitted it because I want your message hanging in my message box. I don't judge your entry right away once it's submitted, it takes time for me to do it. Lazy, I know. I usually publish a warning chapter 3 days before the contest ends and if I haven't replied to you, then start assuming I haven't seen your entry.
