It was third block and Xeno was desperately hungry.

"¡Mrs. Benton, tengo muy hambre!" As Xeno complained to his teacher about being hungry for the umpteenth time, he didn't notice DJ writing X+A in a heart on his paper. He looked down on it, blushed, but didn't erase it.

Yes. The bell means freedom. It also means it's lunchtime but, same difference.

Xeno eagerly leaped out of the classroom bearly missing Elain, who was walking to his locker, as he had forgotten to get it before 3rd block. Normally, he would say something about Annabelle to tease both of them, but Xeno wanted to waste no time. He needed to feed his body. He made a dramatic leap for the stairs yelling PARKOUR. It would've been epic, except for the part where he tripped on a person and landed face first on the ground. Oh well, maybe next time.

Luckily David was there to help Xeno up. As Xeno stood up David couldn't help but to look into his blue gray eyes. It was like looking up into the winter sky on a cloudy night.

"You alright man? You're staring at me," Xeno said wearily. Man, David was acting weird...er than normal.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine, let's get to the lunchroom before the lines get too long," decided David.

Xeno agreed and they walked together until they parted because David had packed his lunch and Xeno had to buy his.

When Xeno along with everyone else had taken a seat at their table, the normal things happened. Everyone teased DJ about Johnny, they had played half a game of MASH and David had some how found another way to emotionally scar Annabelle. At least she would have a story to tell Alek and Elain. But towards the end of lunch David looked a little sad. Xeno barely talked to him today.

"What's wrong dude, you look like you just heard Impossible Year by Panic! At The Disco," Xeno softly said to David so only he could hear.

"Have you ever wanted someone to like you the way you wanted them to like you?" Inquired David.

"I'm pretty sure we've all been there at one point," answered Xeno.

"I just feel like no one has ever liked me like that," whispered David softly.

"David, I like you. I've been meaning to tell you that for a while, but I guess I just had to get over it and said it," said Xeno in a rush.

"X-xeno, I like you too. I have for the longest time," spoke David with a happy ring to his voice.

"I'm glad you feel the same way David."

"So, do you want to go out with me?"

"Gosh no David, I meant it platonically. Oh, you meant it romantically. I'm sorry dude." Replied Xeno.

"oh okay," murmmered David.

"No homo bro." Xeno held his hand out for David to shake on it.

"No homo." David agreed.
