One of the most anticipated movies of the year, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is only weeks away from coming out. Its official release in theaters is on November 18th, and it will likely cause millions of people to go out to the movie theaters because it's set in the same world as the beloved Harry Potter movies. The movie is based off J.K. Rowling's book that goes by the same title and follows the story of Newt Scamander who is played by Eddie Redmayne (one of my favorite actors). It takes place in New York with the American Wizarding World and will be another piece of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter universe.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is extremely exciting for Potterheads across the globe because, as one myself, it was saddening to see Harry Potter's story end and believe that that was all that there would be. Now, we can rejoice in the fact that the wizarding world is not over and there is still much more that J.K. Rowling has to offer!

Rowling's world of Harry Potter has always been something millions of people throughout the world have loved and kept up with. It all started many years ago when she published her first book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and since then, it has exploded into a massive success. She can probably be labeled one of the most successful authors of all time. There's even an entire Harry Potter theme park in Universal with both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade. There, you can ride through Gringotts, shop at any of the many fictional stores, and even try the infamous butterbeer (which is amazing, I might add).

Personally, Harry Potter is one of my favorite book and movie series of all time. It was one of the first book series I ever read and it helped lead to me becoming a huge bookworm. I've read every book, seen every movie, and have a ton of Harry Potter merchandise. It's such an amazing series and so widely loved because of the adventures it takes you on and the world it brings to life. It's extremely difficult to create an entirely new world and characters to fit it while being realistic and making it fit in with today's society. Rowling's writing brings everything to life, and the movies manage to capture the same magic. There really is a sort of magic in the Harry Potter series, because it's enjoyable for everyone - no matter who you are.

If you have yet to try to read the series, I highly recommend you do because it's one of the best things I've ever done! And if you ever find yourself in Universal or any of the other places where they have a Harry Potter world, you should definitely check it out because it also helps bring more of the magic to life and allows you to feel like you are actually there!

Of course, if you are a huge Potterhead like me and have been in Harry Potter withdrawal since the stories with Harry Potter himself in it have ended, you always can go look for fanfiction. J.K. Rowling is always offering more and more additions to her world, but sometimes you really want to go back in time to when it was just Harry, Ron, and Hermoine and get to hear more about their adventures. That's why sometimes fanfiction is a great thing to read!

Fanfiction is any piece of work written by another author that creates a new plot for the characters of the original book. Fanfiction might focus more on a romantic aspect, where it can bring together characters who wouldn't be seen together in the actual work (for example, Draco Malfoy and Hermoine Granger), or it could just create a new adventure for the characters to go on. It might even use made up characters that it incorporates into the story's world. And if you're talking about something that's not actually a book, it can have stories of where fans get to meet their favorite band or favorite celebrities. There's a lot of different types of fanfiction across the internet that people write for the enjoyment of themselves and others.

Fanfiction is so popular today because of all of the websites that give light to it. It's also popular just because of what it offers: a fantasy world where writers can imagine a different plot to their favorite stories or imagine characters receiving miracle visits from their favorite people. It allows stories to take different turns and be seen from different angles. Fanfiction is an amazing thing for people who are in love with anything and just wish they could have more of it.

So I hope you totally go see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, after binge-reading and watching all of Harry Potter if you want to - because it looks like it will be just as amazing as the rest of Rowling's work! As November 18th comes closer, it'll only get more exciting!
