"Today, we are learning how to enchant your magic to an object. Did you all bring a piece of jewellery?" Princess Arabella, the magic teacher asks. The four of us had brought along with us simple silver bands.

"Now, think of something you'd like to enchant your item of jewellery with," she begins, her voice soothing and relaxing as we sit in the calming room. She points at Iona.

"Perhaps, you could enchant that necklace with the ability to teleport to the palace to a shifter who can't teleport."

"What? So they put the necklace on and are suddenly at the palace?" Iona asks.

"That's also what you've got to think about. How do you release the magic? You could make it so that they have put on the necklace or they have to break the charm. It's up to you," Princess Arabella tells her. She looks over to Eric next.

"Perhaps you could enchant your ring so that whoever wears it turns into stone." Eric smiles and clutches the plain silver band.

"Think about your powers and what you can do with them to come up with an idea. You can work on your own or even pairs if you'd like," she smiles. "Once you've thought of an idea, focus on your magic and how it flows through you. Think of how it feels as it rushes through your veins. Then imagine that piece of jewellery being another part of you. Let the magic flow into it and bind to it. Once the magic is into the jewellery, we will then focus on how and when the magic will work. Begin."

"Isla," Toryn says from next to me. "I have an idea," he smiles.

"What?" I ask.

"Let's mix our water and fire like we've practised before. We can make it into a small ball and have it floating on the bracelets like a charm." I smile.

"So we can enchant the bracelet to never let the water overpower fire or fire overpower water," I say. He nods his head.

"Let's do this," I tell him.

We start by making a ball of water and fire. the two swirl and mix together in perfect harmony. We then shrink it so that it is small enough to float above the bracelet but look like it's a charm. Together, we move the ball into the right place.

"The bracelet is part of us," I whisper to Toryn. "Feel the magic fill our veins, feel the energy. Let it flow through the bracelet." Taking a deep breath I close my eyes. Both Toryn and I hold the bracelet. I imagine my water powers in my mind. Imagine my veins running blue and white as the magic fills me. I imagine it flowing into the bracelet in waves and swirls. I can feel Toryn's magic too as it flows into the bracelet. We weave our magic together in the bracelet. I Open my eyes and see the ball of water and fire floating a centimetre from the bracelet.

"We need to let go," Toryn says. "To see if we've done it." He doesn't only mean letting go of the bracelet, but letting go of our control over the ball of water and fire. We need to see if we've put our magic into the silver bracelet.

"Three, two, one," I whisper. We put the bracelet down and let go of our magic.

"We did it!" I shout as the ball of water and fire still moves and twirls around each other. Hovering above the bracelet.

"Well done you two, that's a beautiful piece of jewellery you made," Princess Arabella beams at us. I put the band on my wrist and smile at it.

"Come on, let's do my bracelet," Toryn says.

At the end of the lesson, everyone has to show what they've made. Toryn and I have our two matching bracelets. Serenity has enchanted her band with earth magic. Whenever it is worn, flowers grow and brighten up wherever they go. Tanya has been much more ferocious with her band. She's made it into a weapon meaning that none of us can even tough it. If someone were to put on her band, a tornado would spin around them and tear them apart.

"Now I know a few of you have done this already, but tomorrow we will be focussing more on using enchantments as weapons so if you again bring some jewellery to enchant," Princess Arabella instructs. "I'll see you all..." Princess Arabella's eyes cross and she falls to the floor her body shaking. Maryanne also falls.

"Princess Arabella?" Eric asks, "Maryanne?"

"Stay back, they're having a big vision," Tylo instructs. The two of them start screaming. "Get Lady Indira now!" he tells us. Iona disappears and returns with Lady Indira a few seconds later.

"Everyone but Queen Isla and the other eldest Royals, leave." Lady Indira instructs. My heart beats rapidly as the classroom quickly empties leaving Oliver, Daniel, Andrea and myself in the room along with Maryanne's siblings. "Iona, stay. We may need your help." Lady Indira looks worried.

"What's going on?" I ask.

"As you know, the Scorpallis family have visions of the future," Lady Indira explains.

"Most of the time, we can sense them coming and we set ourselves to the side," Tylo explains.

"We don't normally collapse and fit," Fiona explains.

"Unless it is a big vision," Tylo carries on.

"Why aren't you two seeing it?" I ask.

"The big visions usually are seen by our father because he's the head of the house and the king. Aunty Arabella has always had a link with him so she sees everything he sees. However, as Maryanne is the eldest out of us and is soon going to be the queen of the lands, her powers have grown ready to replace our father. She will now see everything he's seeing too," Tylo explains to us.

We jump as they start screaming and crying again.

"Iona!" Iona steps forward, her face pale. "Can you teleport to the Scorpallis palace?"

"It may take me a few jumps. I'm not as powerful as my father yet," she replies.

"First, you teleport to the High Queen and tell her what's going on. Get your Father to teleport her here. Whilst he does that, you jump to the Scorpallis house and bring back Maryanne's mother. You won't be strong enough to carry their father back so I'll send your father to get him." Lady Indira, though looks worried, gives clear instructions. Iona nods her head and disappears. Less than a minute later, General Xavier and the High Queen appear. General Xavier lets go of the High Queen and disappears instantly. The High Queen rushes over to the two having the vision.

"This is a bad vision," she mutters. "A very bad one."

General Xavier and Iona appear carrying Maryanne's mother and father. The King is still fitting with the vision. The King is laid down and everyone is quiet. Suddenly the three of the wake. Tears rush down Maryanne's face. She is scooped up by her mother.

"My darling," her mothers whispers in her ear and kisses her forehead. Arabella stands and goes over to her brother. Both are pale, tired and covered in a cold sweat.

"What did you see?" the High Queen asks. There is silence.

"We can't say," Arabella sighs as she looks at me. I frown.

"Why?" Oliver asks with a frown.

"Because if we tell you. You'll try to stop it and that will make it so much worse."

"I'm sorry," King Francis says to us all, but looks at me. My heart beats wildly in my chest.

"Is it defiantly going to happen or is it only a possibility?" The High Queen asks.

"We don't know. We didn't get the whole thing. There was so much we didn't see," The King frowns. I can't help but frown at the way they are looking at me with sad, apologetic eyes.

"What?" I ask. "What's going to happen, you're scaring me."

"We're all scared Isla," The High Queen says. "War is getting ever closer and the King's power continues to grow. We can't afford to argue. We need to trust and stay as a team to keep everyone safe. If that means we don't get told, then we don't get told." I look at her and nod my head.

"We will discuss everything in Lady Indira's office. Maryanne needs her rest."
