A/N This takes place when the volcano erupts, and Treetop managed to get the egg to the father, Kelp, before it erupted, which is where Morrowseer dies

Before she hatched, Watercolor knew nothing.
Dragons. Blood. That was what she knew was outside her egg. She was blue with purple accents, and seagreen horns.

"Don't take her away!" A voice cried.

"It's for the good, Treetop," a different voice grumbled.

"Morrowseer, she's my only egg," Treetop said worriedly

It didn't matter. She was rolled away as she heard Treetop yell," Kelp! The egg!"

Talons grabbed her egg and she was plunged underwater.

She was out of it a few minutes later, and She heard Kelp and Treetop talking. She managed to crack the egg, and soon enough, she was out.

"She is the colors of the sea," Kelp murmured.

"Good name," Treetop said looking at her. "Watercolor."
