I sighed, and started walking to school, with Gou, Rin, Makoto, and Haru with me, all talking excitedly while I was enjoying a cup of coffee. Today was Monday and I felt like shit this morning, so I decided not to run as usual, and get there at around 7:45. I sighed and smiled softly, getting to the school and saw Penguin and Butterfly talking together. They turned around and saw me and the gang, (Hehehe, where's Scooby?) and Penguin said excitedly, "Hey guys, what's up?!" I nodded and said, "Penguin, Butterfly, I feel like hell today, but I guess because I didn't wake up at 4:30 yesterday."

I shrugged and motioned for Gou to follow me to class, and waved goodbye to the others. Gou sighed and said, "Hey, Ryu, why don't you call them by their names yet?" I sighed and said, "It's not their time to shine, not once if I haven't seen them clearly, like water." She sighed and rolled her eyes, chuckling, saying, "You're so serious, but I had to get through you, so I guess this is what the other's have to go through." I nodded, and sat down in my usual seat, and started drawing on my drawing pad, drawing the cheetah I saw in my dream.

(Time-Skip To Break and Lunch!)

I walked down to the pool area this time, and ate on the bench, staying silent. I then heard footsteps and kept silent, and I heard a door open and close, and then it open and close again. I saw Penguin, and he was in his swim trunks, so I figured he was going to swim for a while. I blinked, and watched, knowing that I haven't seen him actually swim by himself. I dived into the water and started doing breaststroke, and I watched in awe, smiling a bit to myself.

I finished eating and squatted down by the water and watched him, waiting for him to notice me. He finally finished and panted, looking up, and was startled to see me. "H-How long have you been here?!" "I've been here since lunch started, now, I'm going to point out that you need to get your chest more out of the water, so work on upper body strength, Nagisa, go to the gym and lift weights, it'll help you a bunch." I smiled and chuckled, and he looked astonished and nodded, smiling and laughing with me.

I saw everyone came down to the pool, and they looked at me in awe and I said, "I was giving Nagisa some pointers, it was the least a teammate could do." I looked up, and saw Butterfly looking sad and I patted his shoulder and said, "I could give you some pointers, if you want me to, Butterfly." Butterfly blinked and said, "O-Oh, thank you, I would be honored..." I nodded and said, "Good, what stroke are you planning to learn?" He blinked and said quietly, "What stroke...?"

"Yeah, like freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, or butterfly. Their simple, but I had years of practice, so I can give some pointers." I said and smiled a bit. He blinked and nodded, saying, "Maybe butterfly, since that is my nickname, I guess for now." I chuckled and nodded, walking off, saying, "I will help you at practice today, count on it." Gou followed me and we both headed back to class, excited for practice.

(After School!)

I sighed in frustration, but I knew I had to keep calm. Rei was having a hard time with floating, he was just sinking to the bottom. I sighed and I said, "Rei, you need to learn how to float, you need to relax yourself, it's better to be relaxed than tense, because you'll get no where if you're not floating." He nodded and he was on his back and he relaxed, and he started floating. I nodded and moved him slightly, and said, "Stay calm, become one with the water."

He nodded, and let out a slow breath, an looked up at the sky, and his eyes widened, and he smiled, relaxed as an otter in a running river. I nodded, and kept making waves, making them seem like strokes of water when you were stroking the water. "Now, get on your belly, and hold your breath while your doing this, and relax your muscles, alright?" He nodded, and relaxed on his stomach after her put his goggles on, and floated. He then started stroking on his own, doing butterfly strokes, and seemed to be relaxed, and was floating instead of sinking.

"Great job, Rei! I'm proud of you!" I smiled and nodded, chuckling. The other's were watching and their mouths hung open, and they started clapping, and I looked behind myself and chuckled, rubbing the back of my head. "Thank you Ryu! I couldn't of been able to float without you!" I nodded and said, "It's no problem at all. It's been a pleasure to teach you how to float." I smiled and he blushed, and started freaking out slightly.

I got up out of the water and said, "Well, I'm heading home, see you guys later!" I dried myself and threw my clothes on, and went home, but Rei stopped me, saying, "Thanks again, Ryu." "No problem." I nodded and got home, seeing my mom and her work buddies. "Oh, hey mom." My mother turned towards me with her manager and people she worked with and said, "Oh, darling, could you make some dinner for yourself, we already ate, and we're going to talk in here." I nodded and made myself Origiris and went to my room and ate them while I finished my studies and homework.

I saw a butterfly in a field and I ran after the vividly colored butterfly and stopped at the ledge that had water at the bottom of it. The butterfly flew down to the water and I followed it, falling slowly into the water. I smiled and water engulfed me, and I saw the different animals that were underwater, and the butterfly landed on my nose and I giggled, seeing the light purples and dark purples mixing together, making it look beautiful. I smiled and saw the Orca Whale come underneath my back and started to make me swim, and I started swimming with the butterfly and other creatures that were lively colored, and then I saw the Whale Shark again. I swam towards the teal tinted Whale Shark, and touched it, being engulfed by white light, and was at a pond, and saw two different colored Koi fish, one black and one white.

"Look, Ryu! It's Koi fish! Which one's your favorite? Mine's the white one!" I smiled when I heard Sosuke's voice, and pointed to the black one. "I like this one! It looks so pretty!" I said excitedly, and then I was engulfed in bright reds, oranges, and yellows, and saw a fire. My eyes widened and I ran towards the house. My father died in a fire, we don't know how it happened, but considering on my body, I wasn't very fast and strong when I was twelve.

I yelled up at it and an explosion blew up the house and I landed on my back, the air being knocked out of me. I weakly said, "Father....! No....you....can't....leave...!" I gasped for air and coughed again, and then landed in water once again. I stared at the Whale Shark and saw it speed off and I swam after it. "Wait, why are you bringing up all these memories?! Please, come back!" I yelled, and I put my hand out towards it, but got pulled into darkness, and saw the black Koi fish by itself.

I cried softly, it was the time Sosuke had left me for popularity, and the white Koi had died of how old it was. My tear drops landed in the water, causing ripples to rip through the pond, making the black Koi fish swim away in fright. "Why did he leave me for popularity...I can't ever believe him ever again!" I was gripping onto a keychain he gave to me as a birthday present that I still have today. It was a Whale Shark, his favorite animal in the whole entire world, and every time I look at it, it reminds me of our childhood, but sometimes I regret it.

I now sat in a black abyss, and then heard an echoed voice, "Ryu, Ryu get up...please, don't leave me! Please, I don't want you to leave!" I woke up to bright lights, and I was in the hospital, and Kaito was next to me, and he was crying silently. I put my hand on top of his head and asked, "W-What happened...?" He looked up and explained that he was being careless when he was retrieving his ball from the middle of the road, and I pushed him out of the way, risking my life for him, and I got a broken leg, and a broken rib, but nothing more was done. I nodded and said, "P-Please don't cry. I-It'll only make me want to cry, t-too."

I smiled, and a tear brimmed my eye, and he smiled and laughed, getting back into a positive mood. I woke up to my alarm clock and my mind raced with memories, and I went to go take a bath, and I shook my head. "Why am I getting these things, and why now...?" I teared up, but held back the tears, and heard Gou and Rin, with the other's. I stepped out of my bath and smiled at them, putting on my best go-to attitude, and we all walked to school, and I tired not to go back to my memories. I sighed, Gou and I heading to class.

"Hey, Ryu, are you ok? You seem to be a bit on the sad side today..." Gou said, her voice full of concern and I shook my head, saying, "It's nothing, I just had a weird dream last night." She nodded, and we got into class and I sighed, laying my head down on the desk, and classes went on as usual, and when the bell rung for lunch, I grabbed my bento and sat on the roof today, looking down at the pool, and I saw Nagisa doing the best routine for swimming I've ever seen. I smiled and watched him while eating, and I started drawing him while he was swimming, having an image of him in my mind of him being serious. I drank some of my water, and finished coloring, shading, and sketching Nagisa swimming. "Wow, Ryu, you were really in the zone, huh?" I heard Makoto say, and I nod.

"Nagisa seems to be working really hard on his swimming. He's been working really hard, so I wanted to do something for him, draw him while he's in action." They all nodded and stared at him in awe, while I continued working on the drawing, adding Penguins, Dolphins, Orca Whales, Butterflies, Sharks, and one Basking Shark in the background. I drew splashes of water, and I colored the animals like it was colored in my dreams. I finished and the bell for to head back to classes rung, and we went back to class, and anticipation went through everyone for the end of the day.

(To Swimming!)

I floated on my back in the water after I finished four laps of transitioning, and sighed, looking at the sky, seeing a brown hawk. I blinked and stared at it, the bird reminding me of my first drawing I did when I first came to this school. I smiled softly, and heard everyone yell, "CANNONBALL!" I blinked and waves of water bit my face, and we started a splash war, and I smiled and joined in, getting all of them soaked.

Gou eventually came in at the wrong time, and got soaked with water, and she pouted, and went to go change into her other set of clothes. I smiled and I eventually tired them all out, and I then I went to the showers, the other's following. "So Ryu, I heard you've been having troubles sleeping." I heard Makoto say, and my eye's widened and I shook my head quickly. "No, I've been having no troubles sleeping, it's ok." I looked down and walked out of the water, grabbing my towel and dried myself off, and slipped on my clothes.

"Are you sure?" I heard Haru say and I nodded, smiling. "It's all fine, Haru, I promise." If only I could keep that promise... I then jogged off, waving to everyone, Gou catching up with me, staying quiet. I got home and said goodbye to Gou, and went to my room after dinner, and saw my phone beep on my desk, so I picked it up, and saw it was Makoto. 'Ryu, we need to talk, you've been acting strange lately, you've lost that spark in your eye's ever since you met us. You know you can talk to me whenever something's wrong, right?- Makoto'

I sighed and closed my eyes, holding the phone, and opened my eyes again and texted him back, 'I'm fine, I just have been having some memories, don't worry about me, Makoto.' I put my phone back on it's charger and turned off the lights, my mind going back to what Makoto's text said. You know you can talk to me whenever something's wrong. I sighed and shook my head, an aching pain in my heart wanting to tell him, but I held it in, and stayed quiet, and went to sleep.

I wonder if I will ever get over these memories...
