So Many Memories And Sosuke...
(I didn't think I would make six chapters in a day, but it happened, so enjoy!)
The memories, every night they come back, but each memory is different. Today is the last day that I have to help the children swim at the indoor swimming pool. Since it was the weekend, making it Saturday, I went to go work with the children first. I walked to the swimming pool, with my swimsuit already on and I gathered all the children up. "Okay, guys, I'm sorry but today is my last day." All the kids faces looked mortified and they all yelled, "What?! You can't leave, you're the best coach in the world!"
I sighed sadly and nodded, smiling a sad smile, saying, "For my last day, I would want to have you all swim a relay race, two teams on each side, and high five the next person. You can swim whichever style you suit best, just make sure you don't hurt yourselves, and you guys are able to stop and stand in the middle if you need a breather." Everyone cheered, and went to the pool with their gear on and I got into the pool with them, and we had tons of fun, playing games an going water, kick boarding. I smiled and the day ended, and everyone hugged me tightly, and they left home, and I started to put their gear up, and changed into different clothes. "Hey, Ryu." That voice, who's is it, it's not Gou's or anybody else's, definitely.
I turned around, and the sight I saw was something I never thought I'd see before. "S-Sosuke...? Where have you been?! You've just abandoned me and never spoke to me again, what happened?! I used to know you, but you left me for popularity...we used to be childhood friends, and when we entered our first year of school, you left me...like everyone else did." I looked down and put away the rest of the gear, and I slipped my clothes on, and Sosuke said, "I'm sorry..." Those words...I hated those words!
Those were the last words I heard from Kaito before he left, the last words I heard Sosuke say before he left, I hate that word! "Shut up! If you were truly sorry, you wouldn't of left me for so long! What happened?!" He looked down and sighed, flinching slightly at my voice. "Don't tell Rin I was here, ok? Now, I've came to apologise, I haven't been in touch with you, because the people I have been friend's with, were ass'." I teared up and ran up to him, and smacked him in the face, a loud smack flying through the room.
I backed off and said, "Why would you leave for such ignorant people...? You knew they were, why did you do it...?" He sighed and rubbed his cheek, and said, "I...I don't know. Maybe I was hungry for more friends, but all I did was succeed was one friend, everyone else were ass'..." I growled and picked up my things, and put a piece of paper into his hand. "We can talk later, just not now. Goodbye." I left, and then mumbled, "It's because of you I'm having all these memories come into my brain like a flood..."
I then walked back home, and Rin stopped in front of me and said, "Hey, I want to talk to you. Is something bothering you?" I sighed and said, "It's nothing, Rin, really, I've been dandy, just stressed with some of the homework we've been having." "But you never stress out over homework, you have perfect grades! Now stop lying and tell me the truth!" I growled and yelled, "What if I don't want to tell the truth?! What if I just want to take care of my own business, and not get anyone involved?! I don't need help, Rin, now leave it be!" I pushed him out of the way, and ran away from him.
"Ryu...what's going on...?" I heard him whisper before I ran off, and I closed the door to my room and threw down my bag to the ground, grunting in frustration. "Why, why did he come, after nine years?! He needs to earn my Damn trust again, because it's not for free!" I then heard my phone ring, giving of the ringtone that I have to Makoto. I sighed and composed myself, picking the phone up and answered, saying, "Hello, this is Ryutsuki, how may I help you?" "Ryu, cut the crap, please, explain to me what's going on with you! Gou's here too, meet us at the indoor pool!"
He hung up, and I looked down at the ground, and stayed silent for some long moments. I got a hoodie and jogged to the indoor pool, knowing the Souske left already. I panted, sprinting towards the entrance, and saw that it was left unlocked. "..." I opened it, and walked to the pool area, and saw everyone there, with small drawings of their nickname animal that I gave to them, but Gou had a smiley face instead of an animal. "Ryu, I heard that you were having trouble speaking, and I heard from your mother that you needed some time off from memories, and since we wanted you to have a nice sleep, for one day."
I teared up and I looked down, and I blinked away the tears and said, "Y-You guy's didn't have to do this, really..." They shook their head and Gou ran up and hugged me. "Don't you know it's unhealthy to keep things in instead of telling people about it? Now, can you also tell us about your dreams, or draw them out?" I nodded, and I saw a large pad of paper and started out with water and a Basking Shark, with the many fishes and me in the middle of it. "It all started like this..." I began to say, and then hours and hours went on, and I finally finished, and I teared up, and looked down at the ground, dropping my pencil.
Everyone walked up to me, and hugged me after hearing the story and said they were sorry, and I cried softly. "B-But the good thing is, is that we have tomorrow to hang out, if you guys want to." I smiled, tears still running down my face. Everyone nodded and Makoto said, "I'm glad we did this, now how about a dip?" I nodded and chuckled, saying, "That would be awesome." Nagisa then said suddenly, "I don't have swimsuit, so lets go!"
"Wait, I brought an extra swimsuit just in case!" Makoto quickly said, and gave him it. "Go change." I smiled and flicked of my clothes and dived into the pool, after I put on a pair of goggles, and I saw the many sea animals again, along with butterflies. I smiled and got back to the surface, and everyone else joined in, and they started a splash fight, and Gou was in it this time instead of getting her clothes soaked. I smiled and joined in, putting my goggles to the side, and laughed quietly, while having dun with the other's.
We sat outside, drying ourselves off with the air, while everyone was laughing quietly to jokes that Nagisa made, while I stayed quiet, laying down on the pavement, staring up at the sky. I heard my phone go off and my mother texted me, saying 'Are you ok now, sweetie? I've told your friends that you needed some help in sleeping, did it help?' I smiled and replied saying, 'Yeah, thanks mom.'. Nagisa made a funny joke about a frog and was hopping around, and he fell on my stomach and I made an 'oof' sound, and chuckled, and he blushed, saying sorry over and over again. "Don't sweat about it, it's fine, dude."
He nodded and everyone laughed, along with me.
(Time-Skip To Next Day!)
I sat in my bathtub, and I heard Gou and everyone else come in, while I was still emerged in the water. When I heard Gou in the same room as me, I gasped for air and shook my hair out, and saw Makoto, Nagisa, and Rei in the same room as me and Gou. "You weren't kidding, she's just like Haru, she sits in the bath in her swimsuit and she just stays there till you come for her!" Makoto said and groaned and Rei and Nagisa were blushing until Makoto said swimsuit. Makoto put a hand out for me and I grasped it, pulling myself up out of the bath, and I grabbed a towel, and started towel drying myself.
"I'm going to make some breakfast, then we can figure out what to do for today." Everyone nodded excitedly and I walked to the kitchen and threw on an apron and said, "Haru, do you want to help me cook?" Haru came into the kitchen and grabbed an apron, and walked up next to my area and we started making some yummy breakfast. We made pancakes, Origiri, mackerel and rice balls for breakfast, and it was fast, and simple, and we came out with dishes and plates at the same time, making it a one time trip. I then saw my pet cat walk into the room and meow.
It was a pure white sleek furred cat, and Makoto gasped and said, "Is this your cat?!" I nodded and smiled, saying, "Her name is Liebe, her name being German, which means, 'love'." I nodded and picked her up, and she nuzzled my face, an flicked it, and I got her smallish fish and put it in her cat bowl, and she hopped out of my arms and began eating. I began eating with everyone else, and I made sure to save some for mom, and once we finished eating, we went out, and we went to the beach, the park, everywhere, we basically went sightseeing around town.
I showed then the new ice cream place, and they all bought their own ice cream, and I bought my own, and we sat at the fountain and talked, eating our ice creams also. We went by the railings where I liked to sit by sometimes and read a book, or just to be alone, and we hung out there for a bit. At the end of the day we were all tired, but I had on last place to stop at before we all split up for the day. "I have something to show all of you. I had my mom arrange something when we left, and I want to show you guys this as a thank you present." I smiled and we went by my house and we all shuffled inside and I went to the background.
We had a pond that had a river leading to the different ponds in the back, and we had a single Sakura Tree, and it was a late bloomer from the other trees, so it bloomed in summer instead of spring. I opened the door to the backyard and there were floating candles in the pond and the ground had scattered Sakura petals all over it. There was a planner that said 'Thank You' and it was painted in watercolors, in different blues, purples, reds, pinks, and greens, and it had a shadow of a bird in the background. "I thank all of you for helping me get through of what I was going through, you don't have any idea how important this is to me, but to show my gratitude, and with help of my mother, we made this thank you happen." I smiled, and blushed a bit out of embarrassment and they looked amazed.
The first one to speak was Haru. "You didn't have to do this Ryu..." I shook my head, replying, "No, I did, and I felt the urge to do it, and I also made you guys these I hope you like them." I know this a clichè act I was going to do, but it was important for me to have friendship, and to my mother also. I made necklaces for each of them, each of them their own individual colors, and each of them had a different meaning to them as I made them. When I made Haru's, he was the first one I had thought of loyalty, and I made it his favorite color, blue, and I painted a seashell where it had the picture of a dolphin.
For Makoto's, his was green, and I thought of him as a caring person. He was the first person that said I could talk to him about anything, and I had a bigger seashell for his, since his animal was the Orca. For Rin's, I saw determination, making his red. He never gave up, causing him to be a hard head, but sometimes he was cool about something's, but he still had the burning flame of determination. His was a bit smaller than Makoto's, since she was the shark.
For Nigasa's I saw laughter and compassion, making his a light pink. He made me open my eyes, and see that he has a strong heart, and I had a smaller seashell than Haru's shell. Rei's shell wasn't too small, but it wasn't to big either, just right. His was dark purple, ever since he showed me true intelligence and beauty in the world, and opened my eyes to a whole new level. Lastly, I had Gou.
Her seashell was the right size, and she had a the ocean in the middle of her's, and I decided to braid strings together to make her seem like the bond of things, and I added a new color, bright yellow. She had all these qualities, and she was my first friend ever, and I was glad she was. I, myself, had a black one, since I'm so mysterious, and my seashell was pretty big, not to big, just where I was able to make a picture out of it that had all of them in it. I smiled up at all of them and I looked back down at the ground. "I-I hope that you guys like it, I stayed up all night just to get this prepped, I really mean when I say you guys are my friends."
They all smiled and hugged me, and they were thanking me, and I chuckled, hugging back. "You guys are welcome, so, we have school tomorrow, who's up for some races tomorrow when we get to club practices?" Gou stayed out of it and everyone cheered, and I smiled and chuckled.
This had to be the best day of my life, really. I never knew I could make such great friend's, but will I start to develop some feelings for the boys, or will the table's be turned and it would be them?
