"Mumby have you found anything yet!" "No! Not yet!"

I and Mumby had been looking through the books I got from the mansion, trying to figure out what was happening to me or to at least figure out what I was, maybe-hopefully, both.

"Hey, Gri..." "Yeah?" "Can you translate this? It's in Galactic, and I saw some human-like creatures with all sorts of wings, tails, and horns in this section." "Alright! Let's see what this says."

Curse of the Fae

Curse of the Fae is an emformtal curse and those who suffer from this curse can not seek a cure as it is bound to them. A Fae is a mythical creature connected by emotions and raw magic, settled and compacted into the shape they most desire, whether it be an animal or plant, they are always able to transform back into their Fae counterpart. Fae usually has a small variety of colors, ranging from black, white, tan, lilac purple, brown, and gold.

Their rarity depends on the color of their wings and fur.

Rarity chart - low to high - normal

Black - Black Furred Faes are associated with Taiga forests and Dark Oak forests. They have never been seen anywhere outside of those biomes and tend to stay within them.

Brown - Brown furred Faes are associated with Swamps and Oak forests. They sometimes have been seen outside of those biomes but are usually injured or the forest where they live is burning.

Tan - Tan furred Faes are associated with Deserts, Savannahs, and the Badlands and because of their light-colored fur and because their fur doesn't grow that thick compared to other rarities. These are the only biomes they are usually found in other than the occasional one sitting at the edge of the river that is close to their home.

Rarity chart - low to high - associated with magic

White - White furred Faes are associated with Birch forest and Sunflower plains. They usually are grouped in what they like to call "Villages" where they can be found a lot of the time trading with villagers from human villages for magical flowers called hydrac.

Lilac - Lilac furred Faes are the second-highest rarity and are associated with Flower forests and Wooded mountains. They are most commonly seen wandering around Villages getting trading stuff for their "villages". Lilac furred Faes are the weakest in terms of magic and physical strength but can outmaneuver predators when flying.

Gold/Silver - Gold/Silver furred Faes are the rarest out of all types of Faes. Gold/Silver Faes are mostly found in mountains or jungles although they are sometimes found in villages trading for items like food and flowers, coming and going shortly. Gold/Silver Fae are the least skilled at flying out of all rarities but are the most skilled at magic.

Curse of the Fae can only be cast by Gold/Silver Fae and can only be cast on someone with the right genetics. Curse of the Fae does not give the cursed the magical abilities of a Fae unless they are cursed with Gold/Silver wings. Curse of the Fae gives the cursed sharp eyesight, night vision, wings, horns, and sometimes a tail.

"So you're a Fae?" "I guess so." "But you were always a Fae as it says that it was cursed on you before birth." "Well-"

We heard someone scream but it sounded angry and distressed. We then ran out of the room(Me flying) and saw Xan glitching.

"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!" "XAN!?!"

"GET AWAY FROM ME!!!"

Xan seemed to calm down while his eyes and hair changed, his eyes going red and his hair turning a silvery color.

"ᑑ⚍╎ꖎꖎ ╎ᓭリ'ℸ ̣  ⍑ᒷ∷ᒷ ᔑリ||ᒲ𝙹∷ᒷ"

"ʖ∷ᔑ╎↸ᓭ! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM!?!"

" ᑑ⚍╎ꖎꖎ ╎ᓭ ᓭᔑ⎓ᒷ ∴╎ℸ ̣ ⍑ ⚍ᓭ ᔑリ↸ ᓵᔑリℸ ̣  ᒲᒷᓭᓭ ∴╎ℸ ̣ ⍑ 𝙹⚍∷ !¡ꖎᔑリ"

"BULLSH*TE! IM NOT APART OF YOUR STUPID PLAN!!"

"ℸ ̣ ⍑╎ᓭ 𝙹⚍∷ !¡ꖎᔑリ ̇/ᒷꖎᑑ⚍ᔑ. ||𝙹⚍ ᔑ∷ᒷ ᔑ!¡ᔑ∷ℸ ̣  𝙹⎓ 𝙹⚍∷ !¡ꖎᔑリ ᔑリ↸ ||𝙹⚍ ∴╎ꖎꖎ リ𝙹ℸ ̣  ∷⚍╎リ ╎ℸ ̣ !"

"THAT'S. NOT. MY. NAME!!!"

I started hissing them, angry that they possessed my friend.

"⊣𝙹𝙹↸ʖ||ᒷ ̇/ᒷꖎᑑ⚍ᔑ~ ᓭᒷᒷ ||𝙹⚍ ᓭ𝙹𝙹リ~"

They left Xan's body and gave him back control.

"W-wha? W-what happened?

"You were possessed by Braids, but they're gone now." "Good. They piss me off."

"G-gri?" "Yes, Mumby?" "A-are you o-okay?" "Yeah, im fine, why?" "Y-you just sounded r-really a-" "Mumby?!?"

Mumby had passed out and had fallen towards Scar. Although Scar had managed to catch him, he seemed to be struggling to hold him.

"I'll help." "But Xan-" "I said I'll help bring him to a bed, now shush."

Xan went and picked up Mumby as if he weighed no more than a sheet of paper and placed him on his bed. "Scar do you know what happened to Mumby!" "No, but no need to be worried! I'm sure he just needs a power source!" "Will he be alright?" "I mean yes but he might have a slight headache when he wakes up." "O-okay...

I had passed out and was in some sort of dark purple infinity room, just everything was a different shade of purple, including me. I was about to see if there was anything here when two figures appeared before me chaining me to the ground.

"Stay down monster."

I-i'm not a monster!"

"You're a foul being, you shouldn't exist."

"W-wha-"

"You're a filthy animal that can't control its self."

I watched as the two figures slowly came closer to me.

The chains around my wrists broke letting me leave but I couldn't move my legs. It was like they were frozen in blocks of ice.

They were closer now, about six feet away.

"GET AWAY FROM ME?!?!"

I accidentally shocked them not noticing that they were transparent.

"-U--Y!?!"

I heard someone.

I didn't know who and thought it was the two in front of me so I tried to shock them again, this time hearing someone grunting and other people yelling.

I am a monster

I hurt people

I saw someone appear in front of me that looked like Grian.

"Grian!?!"

"MU-B-"

"You hurt me Mumbo, your left me."

"No no no im not a monster im not a monster imnotamonsterinnotamonster-

"MUMBY!"

"G-grian?" "Yes! Mumby, it's me!" "W-where are you?!" "What do you mean? I'm right here!" "I-i can't see you!?!"

I felt something soft on my arms and when I looked down I could see Grian.

"G-gri! I can see you!" "Can you see anyone else?"

I looked around everything still a little bit purple. I could see Xanthos sitting on a chair in front of me doing something with his arm.

"Sort of?" "What do you mean "Sort of?" "Everything seems to be tinted purple but I can see most everything now!"

...

"D-did I h-hurt Xanthos?" "A little bit but I assume you couldn't see him." "Y-yeah.."

Me, Grian, and Scar were around Mumbo waiting for him to wake when he suddenly shot up and was hyperventilating. He was just hyperventilating when he shot a bit of electricity at my arm then, he started saying "I'm not a monster" over and over again. I went to go see if I could get it patched up, as it had gotten burned pretty bad when my brother called me into the temporary room he had set up for us.

"XAN!" "YES!" "CAN YOU COME HERE PLEASE!"

I walked into the room seeing X with his helmet off

"What is it, bro?" "Just wanted to ask you somethin- WHAT ON EARTH HURT YOUR ARM?!?!" "Relax, Mumbo just woke up and, for some reason couldn't see anything and shocked me." "ARE YOU OKAY THOUGH!!!" "Yes im fine, it just stings a little. Now stop screeching at me before someone comes in here to see what the problem is, and sees you."

I say that using my hands to show his horn and messed up floofly hair.

"Alright, well what was your question?" "Well- Do you know what happened to my admin computer? I can't seem to find it anywhere." "Oh! I was using it for a bit trying to-to... I don't seem to remember why..." "It's okay! Can you go get it please!" "Sure..."

I walked back into the main area over to one of the desks to retrieve it.

"XISUMA WE HAVE A PROBLEM!!"
