Shane wanted to fall to the floor and yell to the heavens. 'Thank you!' when he made it to the cafeteria safely. It wasn't that hard to pass by Optimus or the soldiers either, they seemed to be in deep conversation. The only thing he needed to worry about we're Current and Stunner.

He walked to the food bar and got a few pieces of toast, bacon, and some eggs. Once he had it so it wouldn't fall he turned around to walk back out when....

"Ah!" He hit the floor and had to watch as his breakfast went onto the floor around him. He looked up to see who he ran into and felt his heart start to pump faster when he saw it was one of the soldiers Optimus was talking to.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't expect you to turn around so suddenly." The man told him before stretching a hand out to help him up.

Shane gulped before taking the man's hand and being pulled up. "Thank you." He told him while trying to make his voice a bit deeper so.....Lennox wouldn't suspect anything. He looked on his uniform and found the name, he wasn't a soul reader, though, that'd be awesome.

Lennox nodded before tilting his head while watching the boy closely. "You know, I don't think I've seen you around here before..what's you're name?" He asked the boy.

Shane panicked, he didn't know what to do. "Shane." He blurts out. "Names Shane."

"Shane? I think I would know if one of the soldiers were named Shane." He told 'Shane'.

Shane rolled his eyes. Just his luck that none of the soldiers are named Shane. 'Go figure.' He grumbled to himself.

Current and Stunner walked down the hall briskly. "He couldn't have waited?" Stunner mumbled. "He had to run off when he knew we were trying to hide him."

Current sighed. "I'm sure he was hungry, we didn't feed him when we got to base." He reasoned.

"Yeah but sti-" Stunner cut off when they came around the corner and saw William Lennox talking to Shane. "That isn't good." Stunner whispered to his brother.

Current shook his head in agreement. "We need to get to him, now."

"How? Without getting caught or seeming suspicious?" Stunner looked at Current with raised optic ridges.

Current looked around him and slumped his shoulder plates. "I don't know."

Shane looked behind Lennox to see Current and Stunner peeking around the corner. 'Help me.' He mouthed to them.

Lennox turned around to see the twins looking at them. He furrowed his eyebrows at them before looking at the boy. "How do you know them?" He asked him.

Shane shifted on his feet. "They...are my friends." He nodded at himself while saying it.

Current whined before walking into the kitchen. "Lennox, we need to talk to you." He told the soldier before picking Shane up.

Lennox looked between Current and Shane before looking at Current. "Okay." He began walking with them as Current started to walk toward their quarters.

Current looked down at Shane. "You couldn't have waited?" He whispered in a hiss.

"I was hungry!" He defended himself.

"Yeah, and now we have to tell Lennox who you are."

"Is that a bad thing?"

Current tilted his helm. "Not really, he's Major William Lennox. He's most likely to take the news better then anyone."

Shane sighed and nodded. "Oh...well oops?" He shrugged and smiled at Current. Current shook his helm before entering the quarters.
