A few hours later, you find yourself in Hunters' office. the man has his arms crossed and looks very displeased with the current situation as he pinches the bridge of his nose and sighs. Of course your outrage against your ex-wife wouldn't go unnoticed and catching Hunter in this is a bad sign in itself. Yes, you explained yourself to him before, but that doesn't justify violence against an innocent person as he put it. Luckily for you, Hunter also called a few others into his office and those people are Ricochet, Punishment, Keith and Taynara of course. the four assemble around you as Hunter sits down and expects and explaination from all of you.

Hunter:" Now tell me: why did you two decide to attack an innocent woman?"

Y/N:" Innocent? You're kidding me, right? Laura Kennedy is not innocent. She attempted to kill me twice, she hurt me physically, mentally and emotionally. All these scars on my face and around my head are from smashed glass bottles. She threatened me several times and even made sure that I stay out of her home town."

Ricochet:" Hunter please, Y/N and Taynara were only defending themselves. I'm sorry to say it like that, but you've got no idea of what Y/N has been through in his relationship with Laura."

Punishment:" Right. Y/N here is a tough man, but Laura was the first one to break him. Wanting him to crash down a cliff, letting bees kill him in his sleep, smashing stuff on his head, cutting him along his whole body. This stuf would break everyone. I even let him stay at my place when we got some time off so he could cool down from everything."

Taynara:" Laura also threatened to injure him on the spot. It would've went that way, if I didn't intervene. Now would a severely injured superstar be better for the business than defending ourselves?"

Hunter:" Alright alright, I get what you're meaning to tell me. Y/N, please explain further what has pushed you to do these things."

Y/N:" Laura has sneaked in to the backstage area and made her way to the creative team. Nobody even questioned her as to what she was doing. When she got there and received the information of Velveteens' location, she went to him and told him about the chaos in my life. The worst thing was that she told him about my dead sister, Brooke. I never really recovered from that and only wanted revenge for that. Velveteen and Laura took it too far yesterday, so I had to do something."

Hunter:" And that something was attacking her."

Taynara:" That was on my part though. Laura has been close to inflicting pain on Y/N, but I stepped in. I can't stand people who attack family, friends and loved ones. This woman had it coming."

Keith:" Now I haven't known Y/N for too long, but the time I've spent with him has proven how messed up his private life is. Apart from his ex wife, there were financial issues, his family didn't really support his decision and the fact that he suffers from anxiety is making it very hard for him to actually keep control."

Hunter:" Is this true, Y/N?"

Y/N:"...Yes. I had very little money when I started to look for what I could do after highschool. I didn't have many friends at school and the ones I had were either mostly busy or just stayed for a little while. I can't handle big crowds at all, knowing there could always be someone who could take advantage of me being isolated from the people I care about."

Taynara:" Please don't punish him too hard. Y/N has his first Pay-Per-View Match coming up at NXT Takeover XXV."

Hunter:" I know and that decision has been made final by signing the contract. I won't change anything about his gimmick either as it fits him really well........."

The thinking face of Hunter is really unnerving as you wait for his final decision. He's your boss and so he has the right to do many things about what happened yesterday. This can't end well for you as you mutter under your breath how much your private life has impacted you. Before you can mutter the next sentence though, Hunter catches your attention again as he gets up.

Hunter:" your match at the next NXT episode was supposed to be a win for you against Cezar Bononi...but since all this chaos has occured and I need to punish you somehow, you will lose to him. You will let him perform any move he can and you will not fight back, nor will you get yourself disqualified. If I see you doing anything different, I will pull you from your Takeover match and replace you with someone else."

Ricochet:" I can understand your idea, Hunter. But isn't replacing him, if he doesn't follow orders a bit much?"

Hunter:" I can't offer much else. We can't take him off TV after having him here for about two months and then have nothing at Takeover. Also I can only do what I think would impact him not as much."

Y/N:" It's alright, Hunter. I will do what you said and then carry on. I'm grateful for having this job and I will do anything to protect this business."

Hunter:" Good. Then I'll let you all go now, but make sure stuff like this doesn't happen again or you will be in bigger trouble next time."

You nod and get up, leaving the room in a hurry as you walk to the parking lot. Taynara is close behind you as you stop near a wall and lean back against it, sliding downwards with your hands burried in your hair. Never in the last few months has Laura made you feel this shitty, but today is making you wish you could snk into the ground and never come back. You never actually cry in front of your friends and you swore it wasn't meant to happen. Then again, all the pain and agony you have been through took their toll on your mental health. Taynara knows as you always tell her when something makes you feel bad. She has been caring and understanding every single time, just like know. Her arms snake around you and pull you closer, trying to comfort you.

Taynara:" Shhh, everything will be alright. This is just a small bump in the road. You can get over this in no time."

Her words sound soothing and meaningful, knowing that she will never leave you. Tay is running her hand through your H/C hair, trying to calm your nerves. Sleeping next to her has actually lessened your nightmares and you also don't lack as much sleep as before. Training has been better, being in public with her is more acceptable for you and having her around is making you appreciate yourself more. The time with her is incredible, you couldn't wish for a better girlfriend and you hope you will grow old together.

About half an hour later, the two of you are in a restaurant, waiting for your food. Your mood has been getting slightly better and right now you smile a bit more. People just wave at you from time to time, greeting you and Tay whenever you go anywhere. They respect your privacy, even in public. Nobody tries to flirt, nobody tries to get in your way, nobody even wants to interrupt you. the waiters and waitresses are keeping their fair distance as well, knowing how you can get when someone makes you mad.

Taynara:" Look at this smile! You look great wearing that."

Y/N:" Thank you, Tay. For everything."

Taynara:" What kind of girlfriend would I be if I didn't support you? I'd curse myself, if I didn't care for you."

Y/N:" And I'm grateful for every minute. You have done so much for me and I never know how to repay you."

Taynara:" Just be you, honey. You're great the way you are and I admire that. I admire how strong you are. Everything you've been through has shaped you to who you are and the man you are is the man I love. We all have mistakes, but those are what defines us. They make us the way we are and it's our badge to take and our burden to carry."

Y/N:" I will always remember the moment we met. It was so different for both of us and yet, here we are having lunch together."

Taynara:" It's crazy, isn't it? Destiny has spun us into a web and we are meant to fight for our freedom. Life is a box of chocolates, we never know what we get."

Minutes later your food is delivered and you two begin eating. It's a nice change from earlier and you hope everything gets better. Your financial situation is getting better since you're in the WWE and your friends have supported you even more. Taynara sends you a lot of smiles and sometimes even playful winks, knowing you like her playful side and since you can do this too, you know that this will end in a great way.
