when was the last time you felt lucky to be you

THE DOORS TO Derek's loft slid open, signalling that Jennifer had arrived.

Everyone sat forward — or in other cases, stepped forward.

Hope peered over Stiles' shoulder, her breath tickling his neck and cheek as they hid in the shadows. He glanced at her, his eyes shining brightly in the dark atmosphere and he slowly licked his lips before reaching over and gripping her hand. She looked up at him as she felt his long fingers intertwine with hers.

"I want to squeal, but I think this is a very serious time, so I won't," Caroline whispered, hands on the edge of her seat as she leaned forward, intrigued and worried.

"Derek?" Jennifer yelled, her heel s clicking on the floor as she rushed inside frantically, interrupting their moment. "Derek where are you?"

"Right here," Derek replied, walking towards her from the shadows.

"Oh thank god." She sighed out in relief.

Lightening lit up the room from the outside, thunder clapping in the distance as she quickly pulled Derek into a hug. She pulled away with a shaky breath, her brown eyes wide. "Something happened at the recital. At the school," she rambled, "okay, I need to tell you before you hear it, before you hear any of it from them."

Klaus narrowed his eyes, clenching his jaw as he spoke lowly, "She's going to twist the story."

Damon nodded, tense as well. He didn't want to admit it, but he's quite fond of the littlest Mikaelson and her little crew. You won't hear it from him, though.

"From who?"

"Scott, Stiles, and Hope. They're gonna tell you things. Things you can't believe. You have to trust me, okay?" Jennifer practically pleaded with him.

Derek frowned, "what is it?"

"Promise you'll listen to me."

The alpha paused for a second before giving a short nod. "Promise."

And then she kissed him. The only sound was the storm in the distance, and when Derek didn't kiss back or wrap his arms around her like he usually would, she knew that something was off.

Damon smirked, "you can see her plan unfolding right in front of her eyes."

Kol's dark eyes took in the scene. "One of these days, people will learn to never cross a Mikaelson." He briefly glanced at Marcel before wrapping his arms around his wife.

Opening her eyes, she pulled away and looked at him with no expression. "They're already here, aren't they?"

The three teenagers took this as their signal to come out from the shadows, glaring at Jennier.

"They all look so hot and badass... but also sad," Caroline mumbled.

Elena simply shook her head at her best friend before watching the scene intensely.

Hope tilted her head and pursed her lips. "Hello, bitch."

Rebekah snickered.

Lizzie grinned, "she gets that line from me." She looked proud of herself.

"So," Jennifer attempted to keep the act up, looking back at Derek, "they told you it was me? That I'm the one taking people?"

Scott cut in, "we told him you're the one killing people," he spat out in disgust.

"Oh, that's right," the dark haired woman chuckled sarcastically, "committing human sacrifices? What, cutting their throats? Yeah, I probably do it on my lunch hour. That way I can get back to teaching high school English the rest of the day. That makes perfect sense."

Alaric rose his brows, "she basically told on herself."

"I mean, if we can go to school and still fight supernatural creatures, then she can easily do the same thing," Elena remarked with a shrug.

The super squad shared look. "Well, how about fighting supernatural creatures in your school, and still somehow get passing grades."

Damon seemed to remember something, "you mean my house that my buddy turned into a school?" He shot Alaric a look.

Alaric rose his hands up in defense. "It happens in the future, okay? Don't look at me like that."

Lizzie grinned, "uncle Damon likes to give the school some money for certain things every once in a while. Like my smoothie machine, he bought it like three years ago."

"Your smoothie machine?" Damon rose a brow at her, still a little weirded out that she calls him 'uncle'.

Lizzie shrugged, "I'm the one that mostly uses it."

Elena smiled at the blonde girl. "So..." she tilted her head in thought. "You and Josie are Caroline's daughters, right?"

Lizzie and Josie blinked at her, and then shared a few looks, having a silent conversation.

Damon grimaced, "didn't they call Alaric 'dad'?"

Alaric and Caroline looked to one another before shivering in disgust.

Lizzie sighed, "it's a long story, with lots of twists and turns."

Josie offered her parents a small smile, wincing. "Maybe this... show?... will explain it all so that we won't have to."

"Actually, yes it does," Hope spoke up, smirking, taking a step closer, but not getting too far because her hand was still in Stiles'. "You hid in plain sight so people would overlook you. You made it look like you'd be busy doing school work so we wouldn't think it was you. And that night with Boyd and Cora in the boiler room, I bet that was on purpose so you could get close to Derek without it looking suspicious." She scoffed.

Freya leaned forward, placing her hand on Klaus' shoulder. "She thinks like you do."

Klaus grinned, but his blue eyes were still tracking his daughter's movement on the big screen, full of worry.

"Where's my dad?" Stiles interrupted, tears slipping down his cheeks.

Elena choked back on a silent sob, hating seeing grief and fear in these kids' faces. Especially Stiles. Because he has already lost his mom, all he has left is his dad who's currently missing and about to be used in a sacrifice.

"How should I know?" Jennifer shook her head and then looked back at the Hale. "Derek, tell me you don't believe this."

Derek looked away from his girlfriend, looking up at the three teenagers who were all staring back at him.

Stiles couldn't stop the tears streaming down his face, and Hope squeezed his hand. She traced the skin on the back of his hand with her thumb.

"Do you know what happened to Stiles' father?" Derek looked back at Jennifer, his tone hard.

Rebekah smiled, happy that the kids have someone on their side, to believe them in all of the stuff that is going on.

"Why did you try to kill Lydia?" Hope snapped, glaring at Jeniffer.

"And Hope," Scott added, glancing at the tribrid who seemed to not care that her life was in danger, that she had almost died.

Hayley's heart broke.

"Lydia Martin?" The woman asked with furrowed brows. "Hope? I don't know anything about that."

"What do you know?" Derek prompted, his tone and eyes becoming hard.

"I know that these kids, for whatever misguided reason, are filling your head with an absurd story," Jennifer rushed out before turning to face the teenagers. "And one they can't prove, by the way."

Scott's expression hardened even further, reaching into his jacket pocket to pull out a small jar containing a poison that would prove their theory. "What if we can?"

Klaus smirked, leaning back, crossing his arms as he watched the fear take over in Jennifer's eyes.

"What is that?" Jennifer stared at the jar, eyes wide with fear.

Scott began walking forwards as he unscrewed the lid. "My boss told me it's a poison and a cure, which means you can use it and it can be used against you."

"Mistletoe?" She realized before Scott threw the contents inside at her.

Their former English teacher screeched inhumanly as the powder formed a cloud around her. She waved her arms about, and then out of the shadows appeared a face. Milky eyes, rubbery skin as white as paper, blackened teeth, and deep, pink slashes replaced Jennifer's beauty. She let out a roar before managing to go back to her former state.

"Ugh! Gross!" Caroline scrunched her face up, reeling back from the screen.

Katherine frowned, disgusted, looking away from the screen. Once again, she is wondering why the hell she's in this mess again.

She breathed heavily as Derek stared at her, his blue eyes wide.

Just as Jennifer dashed forwards to make a run for the door, Derek effortlessly moved in front of her and grabbed her neck. His face was hard, his eyes unforgiving.

"Derek, Derek, wait! You need me," she struggled to breathe with the grip he had on her.

"What are you?" Derek seethed.

"The only person who can save your sister," she clenched her eyes shut, "her life, it's in my hands!"

"Well... that sucks," Kol remarked.

"I quite like Cora," Rebekah said, frowning, "I hope she'll be fine."

He lifted her up higher off of the ground, tightening his hold until she was turning purple in the face.

Hope narrowed her eyes and was waiting for Derek to go for the kill. Hell, she wanted to go for the kill. The voice in her head was telling her to help Derek with killing Jennifer. Ever since she snapped Kali's neck, something has twisted away in her. It was like when she allowed the Hollow to take over.

The Mikaelson's were filled with dread at that paragraph, sharing worried looks with one another.

"There's no way, Klaus," Freya spoke up slowly, voice quivering slightly. "We defeated the Hollow. Hope is safe."

Klaus swallowed thickly, Adam's apple bobbing with the movement. He inhaled and clenched his jaw, eyes going steel as he stared at the screen.

But as Jennifer began to grunt, a sign that it was almost over for her, Stiles cut in, "stop. Derek, stop!" That's what snapped Hope out of her dark thoughts and she reeled herself in, tightening her grip on Stiles' hand which brought her back from the edge.

Hayley couldn't help but smile even though the scene was dark. "He's her anchor," she whispered, taking in the duo in a different light now.

Klaus glanced at his... whatever she is to him, and then turned back to analyze his daughter and the Stilinski boy.

Derek listened, giving Jennifer a chance to pull away to say, "Stilinski, you'll never find him."

"Derek!" Scott called as the alpha began to strangle her more, "Derek!"

The dark haired man threw her to the ground just as thunder rumbled in the distance.

She breathed heavily before chuckling. "That's right," she smirked, "you need me. All of you."

Hope scoffed and glared at the woman. "I don't need you." She tugged at Stiles' hand, pulling him away from the psychotic woman. "We'll find your dad. I promise." She stopped in front of him and reached over for his other hand so that their combined hands were between them. "Okay?" She looked him in the eyes and he swallowed thickly, his thumbs grazing over her soft hands. "I promise, Stiles."

"God, they're so cute," Bonnie smiled, wiping away a stray tear that had fallen from seeing Stiles cry about his father.

"You guys were around the same ages when everything started happening, it really puts it in respective on how much terrible stuff had happened to you guys," Alaric commented which had everyone pausing.

Klaus frowned, glancing over at the Scooby Gang, especially Elena Gilbert who he tormented when she was just barely older than his own daughter. Something like guilt swam around in his heart, but he decided to ignore it in favor of watching his daughter's life play out.

IT WAS POURING down harshly against the windows of the jeep as it followed behind Derek and Jennifer.

Scott and Stiles sat in the front seats while Hope was in the back. Her hands were stuffed in the hoodie Stiles had gave her. She was struggling to keep herself situated seeing as Jennifer had given her some mistletoe which finally was beginning to mess with her.

Klaus ran an angry hand down his face as he began to pace a little, still not taking his eyes off of the screen.

Hayley didn't know what to do except stand there, rigid, arms crossed as she feared what was about to go down with her daughter and her friends.

"I don't know, something just doesn't feel right," Stiles murmured, his eyes on the road, "you know, we proved it to Derek, and she still had this look like it didn't matter. You know, like it was all still going according to plan. You guys saw it, didn't you?"

Fear took over most people, not liking how they're practically walking into a trap.

Neither teenager said anything, but both knew that he was right. Stiles was almost always right.

"Stiles is a very intuitive boy," Freya stated with a nod, liking this boy.

They pulled up at the hospital a couple of minutes later, climbing out of the car quickly.

Stiles went around the back and grabbed a wooden bat, causing Scott to look at him strangely. "What? You got claws. I got a bat," he said with a shrug.

Kol grinned, "I like him."

Rebekah rolled her eyes at her brother.

Davina rose a brow at her husband. "Just because he has a bat?"

Kol simply shrugged with a grin on his face.

Hope's lips hugged upwards and she snorted. "Come on, batboy."

"It's Batman," he mumbled and she simply rolled her eyes at him with a fond smile as they made their way into the building.

MG grinned, "I need to meet him." He shot a look at Landon, "no offense."

Landon blinked in confusion, "why would I be offended?"

"Because everyone likes Stiles more than you and we haven't even properly met him yet," Lizzie remarked with an eye roll.

Landon frowned, glancing around at everyone, wishing he had Rafael with him right now.

When they made it inside the hospital, the lights were flickering, people were moving towards exits and phones were ringing all at once.

The group marched on, ignoring everyone until they heard a woman call for Scott. It was Melissa and she had a bewildered expression on her face, sweat was seen on her forehead. "Guys," She called out, placing a hand on Scott's shoulder.  "What are you doing here?" She questioned, looking up into his eyes. "The hospital's closing." Thats when she looked over at Hope and her brown eyes widened. "What the hell happened?!"

Hayley smiled, even though she inhaled at his rugged her daughter looks. "I am so happy she stumbled into people that like her and takes care of her. Seeing Melissa worry makes me feel a bit better about not being able to be there for her."

Klaus nodded slowly in agreement, although he wishes he could be there more than anything for his daughter.

Hops shook her head. "I'm fine."

"There's dried blood everywhere!" She gently grasped Hope's wrist and pulled her closely to take a look at the wound.

Marcel smiled, happy that his little sister is being looked after, even if she seems annoyed sometimes at the fact people worry about her.

Even though the tribrid was a little annoyed, she also appreciated the worry. "It's almost completely healed. I'm fine, Melissa." The first sentence might be true, but she wasn't completely fine. There was some lingering mistletoe in her system which seemed to be messing with her magic still. It was tightening around her lungs, squeezing them. It was gradually getting harder to breath, let alone stand. But, she is going to ignore it and try to save the day. Like always.

Klaus growled, "she needs to stop worrying about others for once. I don't want to see her get hurt just because she wants to be the hero." He picked up a chair and flung it across the room in rage.

Hayley slowly approached him like he's a wild animal, lightly placing her hand on his back, feeling him tense. She swallowed and rubbed his back gently. "Klaus, she doesn't want to be a stereotypical Mikaelson who only cares about herself. She wants to prove people that we aren't all the same. She wants to make up for all the blood spilt in our name." She turned to stare at the other Mikaelson's. "...can we really blame her?"

They all looked ashamed at their past wrongdoings, looking down at the floor.

The others watched the scene play out in front of them, not knowing what to say or do.

Scott stepped closer to them. "We're looking for Cora."

"What, all of you?" She glanced over at everyone, and decided to not say anything about the grip Derek had on Jennifer. She then furrowed her brows, "why does Stiles have my bat?"

Kaleb couldn't help but snicker. "That is what she questions?"

Lizzie giggled, moving closer to Jen as the shorter girl summoned a big enough bean bag chair for them both to sit on, wrapping a blanket around both of their shoulders.

Josie blinked, not used to seeing her sister get so close to someone so fast.

Elena, Bonnie, and Caroline shared a look, smiling at the blonde and Jen.

Stiles glanced down at the stolen bat held tightly in his hands, but he didn't reply.

"Mum, just trust me on this. You need to get out of here," Scott ignored her question, his similar brown eyes filled with worry. "Right now."

"The building is supposed to be clear in thirty minutes. We've got two ambulances that are coming back. One's ten minutes out, the other's twenty. Cora needs to be on one of those. They'll be picking up in the basement garage," Melissa explained, giving in even though she doesn't want these teenagers to be in trouble. But, she knows it's inevitable.

"Yeah... they're not making it out in time, are they?" Bonnie whispered, eyes wide in thought.

Caroline cried out, "please don't speak it into existence, Bon!"

Scott nodded, "Got it."

The five of them took off down the corridor, slipping inside an elevator.

Hope stood protectively in front of Stiles and Scott toward the back of the elevator. While, Derek and Jennifer placed themselves in the center, in front of them.

Stiles' fingers twitched eagerly as he held the bat, looking as though he wanted to bash Jennifer's head in then and there.

Kol couldn't help but snicker. "I'm sorry but their faces are so hilarious!"

Lizzie joined in his laughter, shoulders shaking as she leaned against Jen.

Jen grinned, eyes sparkling. Maybe this group or people... this one specific blonde especially... is what she's been missing her whole existence.

All three of the teenagers felt hatred toward the woman, each one of them wanting to take her down for their own reasons.

She took Stiles' father, Deaton, and now she was trying to take Cora and Hope off the board completely. It didn't help that she had also tried to kill Lydia.

"Jennifer really went for the wrong people," Alaric remarked; others nodded in agreement.

"You don't have to keep me on a leash, Derek," Jennifer announced, lips twitching. "I'm going to help."

"Will you shut up?" Hope grumbled, digging her nails into her palms. Her thoughts kept turning dark and she didn't like it. She didn't want to be the destruction that the witches had thought she would be. She wants to be the hero, the one who helps instead of destroys.

Hayley sniffed, shaking her head as she wiped away her tears. She knew her thoughts earlier were right. She didn't want to be like the rest of her family, she wants to actually help.

Elijah frowned. "Those witches made her out to be some sort of abomination, but look at her." He shook his head, trying to get rid of the anger that was bubbling up in him.

"I hate witches," Klaus growled out.

The elevator soon chimed, signaling that they had reached their destination as the doors slid open and revealed a hallway with flickering lights.

Derek exited first, his grip on Jennifer unwavering as he drug her along. Scott and Stiles walked on either side of Hope as they made their way down the hallway.

When they approached Cora's room, they all froze.

There was no one inside.

"Oh no!"

"Where is Cora?" MG leaned forward with big brown eyes full of worry and anxiety.

On the floor next to the bed was a large puddle of black blood mixed with mistletoe.

MG gulped. "Guys..."

Kaleb nodded sadly, "this isn't good."

"Look." Hope pointed out a trail of black droplets that led out of the room and down the hallway. They led all the way down to a set of double doors, from behind them; they could hear sounds of struggling.

They followed the trail with their eyes until they moved onto the doors.

Suddenly, the doors flew open, and out slid Peter Hale on his back, sliding across the tiled floor until his head hit the tips of Hope's shoes.

Caroline gasped, "Oh! I forgot about him!"

Klaus narrowed his eyes, "why is he there?"

Rebekah tilted her head, "I thought you liked him?"

Klaus shrugged in reply.

Kol gestured to the screen, "he was probably visiting Cora seeing as they're family." He then shot Klaus a look, "you do know what family stands for, right, Niklaus?"

Klaus rolled his eyes.

She looked down, a perplexed expression on her face as he let out a pained groan. "Well, hello there."

"We got a problem. Big problem."

They looked up to see the twins in megawolf form, growling.

"Well... fuck," Lizzie groaned.

Jen giggled, "that is seriously one weird looking wolf."

Josie snorted, "that's an understatement."

Derek attacked first and lasted a bit longer than Hope thought he would. Scott then ran forward, and almost jumped on the megawolf but he was shoved off immediately with no effort.

Multiple people were laughing at the scene even if it's suppose to be serious.

The auburn haired girl sighed, before growling loudly, her eyes shining bright with a golden color.

"She's so fed up with them," Lizzie snickered, sinking into the bean bag chair more comfortably. Suddenly, she summoned an ice cream cake and two forks; both her and Jen started eating it while watching the scene with wide eyes.

Josie blinked at her sister, amused.

Derek had already taken off down the hallway, hands outstretched to throw the Voltron Wolf back when Hope jumped into the air.

The Voltron Wolf retaliated, its elbow falling down hard on Derek's spine, sending him stumbling.

Hope growled in rage as she came down on the gigantic wolf, her hand in the shape of a fist. Her hand hit the twins in the face harshly, sending a loud 'crack' through the hallway.

"Yes!" Klaus shouted, almost like an average man who cheers for a football match. He was standing, pumping his fists in the air, eyes not leaving the screen.

Clarke winced, wondering why he ever thought he could take Hope in a fight. It's clear that not even a God would be able to take Hope on at this point. Just imagine if... when... she transitions into a full tribrid. There would be no stopping her.

Ben stared intensely at the screen as he slowly sat down on a chair instead of standing. He was frowning, not understanding how someone like Hope exists.

Reacting quickly, the wolf grabbed her by the waist with one large hand, and flung her down the hallway.

"Hope!" Stiles shouted and went to run forward, but was stopped when Hope weakly raised her hand. "Hope..."

"They're just so... eeek!" Caroline cooed, loving how Stiles was literally about to take care of Hope even though someone was actively trying to attack her. Even though he's human, he's willing to insert himself in the middle of danger to take care of the girl he is falling for.

Furrowing her brows, she glances at Bonnie. Stiles and her have a lot in common now that she's thinking about it.

Biting her lip, she watches Bonnie's side profile for a second before focusing back on the screen.

"I'm good," she grunted out and stumbled up to her feet, using the wall for support. She could usually hold her own pretty well, but the mistletoe was really messing with her energy.

"She is still doing a lot better than most would in her situation," Elena commented with a proud smile. She doesn't know the youngest Mikaelson personally, but she is so proud of her for how she stands up for herself and others. It takes real guys and love to do so.

Derek glanced at Hope; howled and sent a harsh blow to the Voltron Wolf's abdomen, only causing them to get angrier.

"Did you see that?" Bonnie asked with a wide smile. "He did that because he saw what they did to Hope!"

"Aww," Elena and Caroline cooed.

They reared back their elbow, firing it at Derek's face, and he let out a whimper as his head moved to the side.

Scott was finally able to gather himself and headed straight for the conjoined Alphas

The twins slammed Derek against the wall, turning to face Scott as he launched himself at the wall, using its momentum to propel himself at the twins. He swiped his claws at them, but the twins dodged with ease.

Something behind the battle had caught Stiles' eyes, a body was lying on the floor; Cora. He patted Peter's shoulder, "Help me." With that, they were already running past the twins and toward Cora's unconscious body.

"Yess!! Cora is okay!" Caroline exclaimed, sighing in relief.

"Good, I liked her. Would've been a real shame if she died," Rebekah commented with a nod, crossing her leg over the other.

The twins wrapped their hand around Scott's neck, cutting off his airway as they held him up against the wall.

"Hey!" Hope shouted and flung her hand out at the conjoined wolf. A gust of wind was pushed from her hand and toward the twins, which sent them flinging back into the opposite wall. "Stop!" She exclaimed loudly and felt herself weaken even more. It seemed that when she uses her magic, her guard is down, allowing the mistletoe to seep into her more.

Everyone was frowning worriedly, fearful of what this means for Hope Mikaelson.

Freya is still impressed, but also worried. If Hope was just a regular witch, she would be down for the count, possibly dead with the mix of chemicals in her system and the large amount of magic she is using. Hell, even Freya — as the first born Mikaelson witch — would be down for the count, and that's saying something.

"All we want is her!" Voltron Wolf growled out.

By the time everyone realized that they were talking about Jennifer, it was too late. The woman was backing up into the elevator, and no one, not even someone with supernatural speed, could have been able to stop her.

"Nooooo!" Caroline whined.

Alaric sighed, tense in his seat.

"I would've just slit her throat, could've figured out how to save Cora without that bitch," Damon stated, lips curling in anger at the sight of Jennifer getting away.

Klaus nodded in agreement before he caught himself and scowled. The day he agrees with someone from the Scooby Gang, the world must be ending.

The Voltron Wolf growled before releasing Scott before running down the hallway after the woman.

Peter hastily grabbed a hold of his niece and place her over his shoulder.

With that, they managed to stumble through the next set of doors.

From behind them, Derek exclaimed, "Don't stop! Don't stop!"

And they didn't.

Well, except for Stiles.

Stiles' idiotic plan consisted of swinging the bat upside the twins' head. When the bat connected with their head, it caused a shower of splinters to erupt, the bat completely breaking apart in the process.

Kol pursed his lips, "would've went with a metal bat, but okay."

Davina fondly shook her head at him. "You and your damn bats."

He then quickly rushed over toward his friends, standing by the doors once again, his converses squeaking against the floor as he tried to get away from the angered twins.

Lizzie laughed so hard she choked on her piece of ice cream cake, which resulted in Jen laughing at her.

"Are you alright, dude?" Jen asked, patting Lizzie on the back with her free hand.

Lizzie inhaled deeply and nodded, throat now burning slightly. "I'm good." She doesn't know how she feels to be called 'dude' though...

With narrowing eyes, Hope used a lot of energy to jump into the air, her fingers curling around the edge of a light, ripping it out of the ceiling and allowing it to soar toward the Voltron Wolf.

Bonnie leaned back with an impressed expression on her face.

"I think I'm in love with her," Elena whispered which made Damon clear his throat in response. The Gilbert girl giggled and leaned into his side, kissing his shoulder. Damon grinned and wrapped his arm around his girl.

Stefan closed his eyes and counted to ten, clenching his teeth.

Electricity crackled as the light smacked against them, successfully buying the group enough time to escape.

The four of them were behind Peter, who was still carrying an unconscious Cora. He had turned into a room and Hope couldn't help but let out a breath of relief when the four of them entered as well.

Stiles stood protectively next to Hope while Derek shut the doors behind him.

"The fact that he thinks he can protect her," Kol snickered.

"At least he's trying," Rebekah said with a small smile. She loves that Hope has attracted such nice people who are willing to step between her and danger, even if they can't physically actually do anything about it.

Almost instantly as the doors were secured, Hope's legs gave out on her and she stumbled toward the floor. But, Stiles was quick to catch her seeing as he was the closet, his arms wrapping around her waist.

Klaus inhaled at the sight, reaching forward as if to catch his daughter, but knew he couldn't. He let out a frustrated breath, glancing down as Hayley grabbed his hand, squeezing it to show him that he wasn't alone in his feelings.

Mother and Father watched as their daughter was hurt, not being able to do anything about it.

Their hearts ached.

"Woah, hey, hey," he murmured against her head as they fell to the floor together. He ran his hand through her hair, realizing how sweaty and pale she was. "Why didn't you say anything?"

She grunted. "I'm fine."

"You're not fine, Mikaelson," Lizzie practically growled in frustration. "What is with her and saying those two words?!"

Klaus frowned and looked down. "That'll probably be my fault."

Everyone inhaled in shock because Klaus would never admit when he's in the wrong, no matter what. But maybe being brought back to life just to watch his daughter's life, he's changing.

Peter looked away from Cora to ask Derek, "Where's the big guy?"

"He's close," Derek muttered, keeping a look out for any sign of the twins.

"What about Ms. Blake?" Stiles asked, realizing that they were shy one person. He knew that if Jennifer got away, there'd be no way to save Cora or Hope — and no way to find his father in time.

"My heart hurts for them," Elena whispered, rubbing her hand against her chest.

Hope grunted even louder this time, scoffing. "Who the hell even knows anymore."

"What do you mean? What does that mean? Like, she's gone? Are you kidding me?" Stiles exclaimed, his heart pounding against his rib cage in anticipation. His arms tightened around Hope who was taking in deep breaths now.

"Shh, quiet," Derek told Stiles like he was a child. But, his eyes were on Hope in worry upon seeing how tired the girl looks.

"Aw, he cares for her," Jed smiled.

"Who wouldn't, honestly?" MG rhetorically asked.

"Me be quiet? Me, huh?" Stiles asked in disbelief and anger. "Are you telling me what to do now? When your psychotic, mass murdering girlfriend... the second one you've dated, by the way... has got my dad somewhere, tied up, waiting to be ritually sacrificed?"

Multiple laughed at that.

"He's got you there, Derek, mate," Kol said, leaning against his wife, kissing her forehead.

"Stiles," Hope spoke softly and turned around as she gripped his hand, entwining their fingers together.

"Stiles, they're still out there," Scott told his best friend with a look of slight fear.

"And... and they want her, right?" Stiles questioned and Hope nodded. "Which means now we don't have her either, so my dad and Cora are both dead!"

Hope was now the one who pulled him into her side, rubbing his other arm with her free hand.

"Not yet," Scott interjected, shaking his head determinedly.

"I love how he has so much hope and determination in him," Caroline said, sighing. "I don't want to see him lose that."

Bonnie frowned, "I hope he keeps that innocence, but we all know what happens when you're involved in the supernatural for too long..."

Elena nodded, biting the inside of her cheek. "You lose that innocent sooner or later..."

Damon tightened his hold on the love of his life, wanting her to know that she is loved, no matter what she did in the process of trying to survive and protect those she loves.

The tension still hung over all of them like a thick fog, a butter knife would be able to cut through it. He made his way over to Peter, who was attending to Cora, "Is she really dying?"

"She's definitely not getting any better," Peter admitted, frowning as he stared down at his unconscious niece.

"Nice way to state the obvious, asshat," Lizzie grumbled.

"There has to be something that we can do. We have to help her."

"You can't. Only I can." Jennifer busted into the room, interrupting Scott.

"Oh?! So she came back?!" Caroline was definitely shocked at this turn of events. Most people were given the faces they were making.

"I can save her, and I can tell you where Sheriff Stilinski is. But, there's a pack of Alphas in this hospital who want me dead. So, I'll help you — but only when I'm out of here and safe. Only then."

Hope jumped up to her feet, pulling Stiles with her.

"How is she still standing?" Bonnie asked in complete awe.

"She's tough as nails, as a Mikaelson should be," Rebekah remarked.

But, no one was given the chance to respond as Derek flung a metal table across the room trying to reach Jennifer.

"Derek, wait!" Scott exclaimed, holding the angered Alpha back.

"She was trying to get out!" Derek excused angrily. Not only did she play him like a puppet, but she put his sister in danger. And, even though he hasn't and won't admit it out loud, he cares for Hope who Jennifer also put in danger and was currently on the brink of passing out.

"He has every right to be angry," Freya stated with a firm nod.

"He cares for her like a big brother," Caroline cooed.

Rebekah stared at Derek, tilting her head, eyeing him up and down in appreciation. Not only is he easy on the eyes, he also cares for her niece.

"I was trying to keep from getting killed! You can't blame me for that," Jennifer stated, rolling her dark eyes.

"No one cares," Klaus growled out, "you tried to hurt my daughter."

"If you want to show you're one of the good guys, then heal them," Stiles said. pointing towards Hope and Cora.

"Not until I'm safe," Jennifer bargained, causing Hope to roll her eyes.

"I'd like to volunteer a different method of persuasion," Peter chimed in. "Let's torture her."

Klaus smirked. "Please torture her."

Hayley rose a brow, "you can say please?"

Kol hummed, "didn't know he could do that."

Others snickered at that.

"Works for me," Derek and Hope stated at the same time causing them to glance at one another.

"Brotp!" Caroline exclaimed happily, pointing at the screen.

Before Scott could protest Melissa's voice came over the hospital intercom went off. "Um, can I have your attention? Mr. Deucalion... Excuse me, just Deucalion... requests you bring the woman calling herself Jennifer Blake to the ER reception. Do this, and everyone else can leave. You have ten minutes."

"They got Mama McCall involved?!" Jed exclaimed, shaking his head, "the audacity!"

Jennifer sighed before speaking, "He's not gonna hurt her."

"Shut up!" Derek snapped loudly.

Hope found herself snickering as she grew overjoyed with Derek's presence as the night went on.

"He won't!" Jennifer insisted, looking towards Scott. "Scott, you know why." She tilted her head. "Tell them it's true."

"What the hell is she talking about?" Stiles demanded, brows furrowed as he tightened his grip on Hope's hand.

Scott was silent, not saying a word.

Jennifer let out an annoyed sigh. "Derek's not the only one he wants in his pack." She smirked and added, "Deucalion doesn't just want an Alpha pack. He wants perfection. That means adding the rarest of creatures and the rarest of Alphas to his ranks."

Klaus tilted his head.

"A True Alpha," Peter mumbled with wide eyes and everyone glanced at him with confused eyes.

"A... what?" Jed mumbled.

"And not only does he want Scott, he also wants Hope, though he knows it'll be harder to convince her." Jennifer eyed the tribrid with power-hungry eyes. "I should've just killed you and gained all your powers."

Klaus growled, eyes flashing. "No one is touching a single hair on my daughter's head, or else."

Hayley rolled her eyes at the woman on the screen, "that's not how it works, dumb bitch." Even if things are different in that universe, there is no way someone can simply kill Hope and become a tribrid, it's not possible.

And anyways, killing Hope would simply just turn her into a full fledged tribrid and become everyone's worst nightmare.

Hope sighed heavily. "Everyone wants to be a tribrid until they have to be one."

Clarke frowned, noting the sadness in her tone.

Stiles frowned at that. "What's a true Alpha?"

"The kind that doesn't have to steal his power from another," Peter began to explain, knowing exactly what they were. "One that can rise by the force of his own will. Our little Scott." He then slid his gaze over to the short girl. "And I still can't believe your powers."

"Scott... is a true Alpha?" MG asked with his brows raised so high.

"Makes sense," Bonnie said slowly, "he didn't want to believe that he was a werewolf for so long, and he has went through so much already, and yet keeps staying strong and sweet. It makes sense that it would be him."

Once upon a time, Klaus would've used this information to gain something, maybe to steal the power for himself. Now? His only thoughts and worries are about Hope. He wants his daughter to be away from anything dangerous. Preferably in his and Hayley's awaiting arms.

"It doesn't matter," Scott announced, looking toward Jennifer and stated, "We still need to get her out of here."

"Scott, your mom—"

"My mom said there's one more ambulance coming in twenty minutes. And I - I don't think we've been here that long," Scott explained, shaking his head slightly, "so if we can get down to the garage, get to the last ambulance, we can get out of here."

"The twins aren't gonna to let us just walk out," Peter pointed out.

"I'll distract them," Scott assured, and Hope opened her mouth, about to protest but Derek was the one who spoke up.

"You mean fight them," he concluded.

Scott nodded. "Whatever I have to do."

"I'll help you," Derek agreed, nodding his head.

Jennifer was quick to interject: "Um, sorry, but I'm not going anywhere without you, Derek."

Caroline groaned in disgust. "Fuck off."

"Caroline!" Elena exclaimed and giggled, stomach hurting from laughing so much.

"What?" Caroline shrugged, grinning. "No one likes her, especially Derek at this time."

"True," Elena said with another chuckle.

Hope narrowed her eyes. "Can you get over yourself? You used him, manipulated him. He isn't going to be your safe place. He probably wants to kill you the most out of all of us."

"Exactly!" Caroline exclaimed, pointing at the screen. "Hope totally gets it."

Jennifer rolled her eyes. "I'm still not leaving without him."

"I'll do it," Peter stated, holding his head high. "But I'd prefer to be out there with an advantage."

"An advantage like what? You mean like a weapon?" Stiles pondered, licking his lips.

"Something better than a baseball bat."

And with that, they were left to search for something that could be of use to Peter.

Hope found herself groggily digging through drawers, trying to not fall over from exhaustion.

"Hey, wait — what about these?" Stiles cried out and Hope looked over to see Stiles holding up a defibrillator.

"Do you know how to use it?" Derek asked with a tilt of his head.

Looking down at them bashfully, Stiles mumbled: "Well, no."

"Put 'em down."

"Plsss," Lizzie giggled, eyes watering. "This is such a son and mom thing."

Josie giggled, "omg, you're so right, Lizzie."

"Reminds me of when mom found us in the kitchen when we were like five, trying to make a batch of cookies from scratch, but we had no clue on how any of the equipment worked," Lizzie said, giggling at the memory.

Caroline smiled wistfully, watching the twins laugh over a memory all three of them shared, except she currently doesn't remember it. This whole thing of them being in the future is really hurting her brain and heart. She wants to know her daughters like future her knows her daughters.

Daughters.

It's so weird to think about having daughters, especially because she's a vampire. A seventeen year old vampire.

Kids with Alaric? Even weirder. Disgusting, even. But like they said, it's a very long, complicated story. And she can't wait to hear it.

The boy seemed to frown a bit, feeling discouraged as he slowly set the object down before going on to look for something else.

Hope then smirked, an idea coming to mind. She turned to Peter and looked up into his bright blue eyes. "I got a spell that will work like Epinephrine."

"Oh?" Bonnie rose her brows.

Freya frowned, "I hope she's being careful. She is using too much magic as is. This isn't going to help any."

Derek turned to her with raised brows, impressed. "You do?" He then frowned, worried when he saw her pale features and sweaty forehead. "Don't you think you should rest a little?"

She squared her shoulders. "I'm fine." She then turned to Peter with a determined expression. "Come on." She reached over and placed her hands on his arm. He could feel his muscles tense up at her touch, but he didn't remove himself. She closed her eyes and mumbled, "viribus." Her hands blowed brightly and then flickered before she stumbled back a little.

Stiles was right behind her, and caught her with gentle hands. "I got you," he whispered and wrapped his arms around her waist to help her stand. "I got you."

"Stop," Caroline whined, running a hand down her face, "why are they so cute?!"

Peter perked up, his eyes wide and his pupils dilated like he just did drugs. "I can feel the magic coursing through me." He then smirked and faced the door.

As Peter staggered out of the room, Scott was quick to follow.

The double doors swung shut and Hope could instantly hear growling sounding from the other side, she quickly made her way toward the door, peering around it as she searched for their window of opportunity.

She saw that the twins were too invested in fighting Scott and Peter, so she looked to everyone behind her, nodded and motioned for them to go.

Once Derek, who was carrying Cora, and Jennifer slipped down the hallway, Stiles immediately grabbed Hope's hand, interlacing their fingers before forcefully tugging her down the hallway seeing as her energy was quickly fading as she slowly rotted away.

Klaus swallowed thickly. Why can't she just give herself a break? She just keeps pushing and pushing and he's praying she doesn't crash.

They found themselves rushing down the corridor, following the signs that directed them toward the garage.

They crashed through the doors and Stiles exclaimed, "it's still here!" He allowed them to go through first and then quickly darted in front of them, opening the doors to the ambulance.

Hope let out a whine as Stiles attempted to help her into the ambulance. He guided her to the bench near the stretcher that Derek had put Cora in.

"Derek," Jennifer's voice called out from the outside, "Over here."

Hope swallowed thickly, allowing her head to rest on the wall behind her, her heart thudding loudly in her chest.

"Julia," a new voice sang from outside, and it made the tribrid tense up. "It is you." It was Nyx, the younger sister of Kali.

"Oh yeah..." Lizzie trailed off. "Forgot about her."

Caroline couldn't help but giggle seeing as she had said the same thing about Peter a few minutes ago.

Hope tried to blink back the tiredness and nodded towards the open ambulance doors. Stiles quickly stood, grabbing both handles and pulling them shut before locking them.

Just barely, they were able to hear the rest of the conversation, Jennifer being the first one to speak, "You can't beat her on your own."

"I know," Derek agreed. "That's why we're gonna run." With that, they were gone.

While Stiles was checking the doors, making sure that they were tightly shut, Hope's vision darkened as she felt her brain begin to shut down and soon, her head fell to the side and she went unconscious.

"Hope?!" Hayley shouted, heart shattering in her chest.

"No," Rebekah frowned.

"No, no, no, no way Hope freaking Mikaelson is taken out this way!" Lizzie exclaimed, sitting up, knocking over the half of the ice cream cake that was left over.

Josie frowned, eyes tearing up.

"Okay," the boy muttered, tugging once before turning back to the bench. "Oh, my — Hope!" He moved to kneel in front of her. "Why do you look like you're not breathing?" He reached forward with a shaky hand and felt for her pulse. To his horror, her heartbeat was slow, almost nonexistent. "Oh, god, no." He began to freak out, his breathing going uneven. He wouldn't know what to do with himself if he lost her. "No, no, no." He took in a deep breath, reeling himself in.

"Okay, okay, okay." he repeated, rolling up his sleeves as he stared down at Hope who he moved to lay down on her back. "You can do this. Here we go, tilt the head. Fingers on the chin — clear the throat. Great, nothing. I see nothing. Okay, all right, so, uh..." Stiles paused, licking his lips as he stared down at hers. He cleared his throat and took in a deep breath. "Just pinch the nose and blow."

"Is there first kiss really gonna be like this?!" Caroline exclaimed, eyes wide.

"Is that all you can think about in this moment?" Klaus growled out as anxiety and fear for his daughter washed over him.

Caroline frowned, slumping in her seat. "Sorry," she meekly whispered.

Elena had a deathly grip on Damon's arm, eyes wide and not leaving the screen in front of them.

Marcel was pacing back and forth, sweat building up on his face as he watched the screen.

But, just before Stiles' mouth fell on Hope's, the tribrid jerked away, her eyes widening. Her vision was blurry so when she jerked upwards, her forehead hit Stiles' and they both shouted out in surprise.

"Oh, thank god," Caroline breathed out, wiping away imaginary sweat on her forehead.

Hayley and Klaus slumped in relief at the sight of their daughter being awake again, and clearly not transitioning into a vampire.

Landon slumped in his seat, letting out a breath of relief at the sight of his... ex? waking up.

"Damn!" He exclaimed. "You don't gotta knock me out. All I was trying to do was save your life."

Hope rubbed her forehead and looked up at him with big eyes. She blushed deeply when she realized what was about to happen, and then she began to feel guilty.

"Guilty?" Davina whispered.

Even though she was clearly not with Landon anymore, it still felt wrong, like she was dishonoring the relationship they had.

Landon blinked and sat up in his seat, intrigued on why she's thinking about him suddenly.

Swallowing thickly, she slowly sat up and looked away from the human boy who sat beside her. She licked her lips and looked down at her fingers which were pinching at her shirt.

"What's wrong?" Stiles asked, shifting slightly, his cheeks red from what just happened. He cleared his throat and furrowed his brows at her quiet form. "Well... other than everything at the moment."

Her lips quirked up at that and then she sighed heavily. "I have a boyfriend." Her eyes widened and so did Stiles'. "Well... I mean, I did have a boyfriend. Not anymore, though, obviously. But, like... I just keep thinking about him. And the others — my friends."

The Super Squad shared looks at that, hating that the thought of them was leaving Hope depressed.

"So she still considers me her boyfriend?" Landon whispered to himself.

Lizzie rolled her eyes and sighed, turning her head to stare at him, unblinking. "Did. As in past tense, You overactive puddle of mud."

"Why can't you stop insulting me for one minute, Lizzie?!" Landon exclaimed, running a hand through his thick curls.

Lizzie huffed, eyes darkening. "I honestly forgot you were here until just now, you sullen sock puppet."

Jen was outwardly laughing at the insults. "Oh, my god, those are golden!"

Stiles swallowed thickly, his heart feeling like it was breaking at her words. Of course he knew she had a life before them — before him. But, it's not like it didn't hurt any less.

"I miss them," she mumbled. "I even miss Lizzie being mean to me. And I miss MG's superhero quotes. I miss Rafael's warm hugs. I miss Kaleb's singing. I miss Josie's calm words. I miss fighting with Alaric. And I miss... Landon." She glanced at him briefly before looking away. "But, at the same time, I don't miss that world. I just... I was able to restart here. I was able to meet all of you. I wouldn't trade any of that for anything."

Lizzie stared, in shock. Yes, she knows that Hope misses her, had a crush on her, but this... was different. "She misses me being mean to her? Of all things, she misses that?"

"Fighting?" Alaric frowned.

"Training, dad," Josie corrected for him.

MG perked up, "she misses me?"

"We barely hung out, and yet she misses me?" Kaleb asked in disbelief.

Landon smiled sadly. It's nice to hear that he's missed, but he knows that they'll never be like they once were, no matter how much he wishes they could. He still loves her.

He licked his lips and she could see his adam's apple bob up and down. "Would you still go back?" He closed his eyes and rolled them at himself.

She furrowed her brows at the question. "I honestly don't know anymore..."

"She doesn't know?" Rebekah frowned.

"I mean, to be honest..." Lizzie trailed off. "She seems better off there than here. She seems... happier, if I dare say."

The Mikaelson's frowned.

Hayley couldn't help but wonder why the Mikaelson's that are alive in their world, wasn't brought up in Hope's list of people she misses.

He jerked his head in her direction in confusion. "But...."

"I have moved on, I think," she whispered. "And they still don't have any memories of me. By now, they have all moved on without me. Maybe Landon has found himself someone." She glanced at Stiles and thought, 'maybe like I have'. She then jumped at her own thoughts. Where did that come from?

"Oh, my god. Oh, my god! OH MY GOD!!!" Caroline screamed, jumping up on her seat to do a little happy dance. "It's canon, guys! It's canon!"

Bonnie and Elena fondly rolled their eyes at their best friend.

Damon groaned, "come on, Blondie, before you fall and get hurt."

She pouted and stuck her tongue at him, but did as told. "I'm a vampire, I can't get hurt, dingus."

"I don't know how anyone would forget you and move on," Stiles commented and then blushed deeply as he realized he said it out loud.

Davina grinned, "he's bold."

She blushed at his words, too. She slowly reached over and gripped his hand. "Stiles... Is everything going to be okay?" She usually never lets herself get vulnerable, but Stiles just brings that side out of her. Plus, she is scared. There is too many threats going on at once and it's hard to figure out what the next move was.

"It's so weird, yet refreshing to see her be so vulnerable," Lizzie stated with a small frown.

Hayley frowned in her direction. "Why?"

"Cause she likes to act all big and tough all the time, like nothing can touch her," Josie said, taking over for her sister.

"She was basically the Kara Danvers of the school," MG spoke up slowly.

Klaus closed his eyes and took in a breath. "She gets that from me, too."

Hayley patted his arm, "she gets that from both of us, Klaus."

"Scott has got this handled," Stiles mumbled as he moved his body and pulled her into him before wrapping an arm around her waist, pulling her into his chest. "Can't believe I just said that." Hope chuckled at that. "I actually used to be the one with the plan. Well, or at least a plan B. Now I don't know. Now I'm thinking that maybe Cora was right. You know, maybe - maybe we are pretty much useless. Maybe all we really do is show up and find the bodies. I don't want to find my father's body, Hope."

"That won't happen," Lizzie whispered, "not with Hope there. She'll do anything in her power to make sure everyone around her is fine while she suffers. As this... show has proven."

Hope frowned and tears gathered in her blue eyes. She closed her eyes and gripped his hands. "I won't let that happen, Stiles. I promised you and you already know I own up to my promises."

Lizzie pursed her lips and snapped her fingers in the direction of the screen. "As I said."

The moment was short-lived, the two held their breath the second they heard the loud banging of the door that led into the garage.

Hope closed her eyes, took in a deep breath, laid her hands on the wall of the ambulance, and meekly whispered, "Nullum visa laris." It was suppose to make the ambulance seem empty while also making it so that they couldn't be heard.

"Her power and strength is just so..." Bonnie gestured around with her hands when she came up short with her words.

The silhouette of the Voltron Wolf could be seen and they glanced over at Cora to make sure she was alright.

It was a few minutes later when the sound of the garage door being opened again.

Hope had been the one closer to the doors that time, and she weakly moved so that she could peek out to see if it was another Alpha strolling through in search for Jennifer.

The second that she leaned in, she went jumping back as a hand slammed hard on the window, Scott's face came into view as he stared in confusion at the empty ambulance.

A few people gasped and jerked back.

On the other hand, MG screamed and ducked under a blanket he had conjured in that very moment.

Hope let out a relieved breath and released the spell. She couldn't help the snort as Scott jumped back in surprise from her just appearing in front of him.

"His face was comical!" Rebekah laughed, leaning against Freya who smiled at her in amusement.

With that, she pushed the door open and tilted her head at him. "Hello there, Scotty."

Peter had been hanging off his side, looking in worse condition than Scott.

She moved out of the so that Scott and Peter could make their way inside the ambulance.

When they were seated, Stiles turned to look back at Scott. "Where's Derek and Jennifer?"

"I have to go back for them," Scott explained, "And my mom."

"Okay, two problems," Stiles began, frowning as he glanced over at Hope. "Nyx has got the keys to this thing, and we just saw the twins like, thirty seconds ago."

"Stay here."

"I don't like where this is going...."

TIRES SCREECHING TO a halt caused all three of them to jump into action. Peter swung open the ambulance door, getting out first to grab a hold of the front of Cora's body while Stiles took her legs.

"Come on, come on," Isaac ushered before noticing Hope trying to step down from the ambulance. He rushed over quickly and caught her just as she stumbled forward. "Wow!" She was now tucked against his chest like a bride, and she looked up at him with big blue eyes. "Damn, Hope. Are you okay?"

"Oh..." Elena rose one brow.

"He's so hot," Caroline mumbled.

Bonnie's eye twitched and she looked between Isaac and Caroline before snorting. "You two look like you could be twins!"

Caroline blanched and stared at the boy on the screen that had frozen on his face. She blushed brightly and covered her face with her hands and hair. "Stop, you're so right!" She shouted, mortified.

"On this episode of dating or siblings," Damon sing-sung as he held up his fist to his mouth as if it's a microphone.

Elena snorted and blushed at the noise that escaped her. Caroline shot her friend a glare, but the Gilbert girl bit her lip and shrugged in response.

She grunted and then whimpered as pain shot through her whole body.

"If you say you're fine, I'm going to drop you," he told her and then sighed when she simply just chuckled at him.

"Oh, yess, drop the girl who's in pain," Rebekah remarked with a huff. "That'll totally help."

Kol smirked, "I see my sarcasm has finally been moved on to someone in this family, sister."

Rebekah rolled her eyes. "Shut up."

Kol gasped and clutched at his chest, falling to the floor dramatically. "I'm wounded, sister!"

Rebekah simply rolled her eyes at her brother again, turning away to ignore him.

"I got this," Stiles said a little harshly as he appeared by them, his hands already reaching out to hold her waist.

"Not a dick measuring contest," Caroline groaned.

Clarke choked on his saliva. "A what?"

Landon groaned, forgetting that his older brother was in the room.

Elena couldn't help but chuckle at the look on Clarke's face.

Isaac furrowed his brows. "I can help, too."

Hope rolled her eyes as she gripped them both by their wrists. "I can do this on my own if you two just want to whip it out right now."

Rebekah bursted out laughing at that while Klaus looks mortified at what his daughter had said.

Hayley spotted the look on Klaus' face and giggled.

Elijah choked on his saliva, turning his head away while he tried to clear his mind of what had just been spoke by both miss Forbes and his niece.

They both blushed heavily and worked together to help her into the backseat of the car. She was seated beside Cora, the brunette's head on her lap.

Hope then paused and turned to Stiles who wasn't getting into the car with her. He was next to the ambulance while staring at something on the door. "Stiles!" She shouted, and was already moving out of the car when she noticed him looking towards the door.

Before anyone had the chance to stop him, he was bolting out of the door and back into the hospital.

"Stiles, no!" Hope shouted out to the fleeing boy. She got out of the car quickly and attempted to run after him, but Isaac had been quick to hold her back, his hands gripping onto her hips tightly.

"Hope, we need to go," he pleaded, trying to guide her into backseat of the car.

Hope tried to fight out of his hold, "We can't leave them!"

"Hope," Isaac snapped, moving his hand away from her hips so that he could grab ahold of her face. "You're dying! How far do you really think you'll get before you collapse, huh? We need to go."

Hayley pursed her lips, "I know he's trying to help, but telling her not to do something is impossible. It makes her want to do it more." She remembered how she told her daughter not to do anything reckless to get Klaus' attention, but look at how that turned out...

Not that she blames her daughter for her death. She blames Roman and his mother Greta.

She narrowed her eyes and stood straighter at his words. "I'm fine!" She snapped and shoved him harshly before running after Stiles.

"Yeah... there is going to be nothing that holds her back from trying to protect someone she loves," Lizzie stated, and it's a known fact that the rest of the Super Squad and Clarke nodded.

She had caught up to him faster than she thought she could, and he skidded to a sudden halt.

Hops stopped just in time for her chest to graze his back. She let out a nervous breath before looking down at the floor of the elevator to see a hurt Derek.

"I swear this man is always getting knocked out," Kaleb remarked.

"For real," Marcel nodded in agreement.

Instantly, the tribrid fell to the floor and cradled his head onto her lap, and grabbed his face with delicate fingers. "Wake up, Derek." She closed her eyes tightly, her lips pulled up into a grimace as she tried to use her magic. But, when bile rose up into her throat, she stopped and looked down at him with wide eyes. "Don't kill me for this." With that said, she raised her hand to her head, and then flogged him in the face.

Multiple people bursted out in laughter of surprise at the action.

Kol snickered as he crawled over to where Lizzie and Jen was, only to take one of their forks and take a big chunk of ice cream cake that he shoved in his mouth.

He sat up quickly, his eyes flashing for a second before going back to their original green color.

Hope looked back up just to see Stiles gone. She panicked, standing up just in time for Stiles to come around the corner with teary eyes.

"What happened?" She asked gently, her voice cracking and she could barely hold herself up. But, she didn't care. She needed to be there for Stiles and whatever he was going through right now.

Stiles let out a sob and fell into her arms, and the both of them fell to the floor in a heap.

She frowned, but tightened her hold on him, whispering sweet words.

That only meant one that — Scott took the bait and was now working with Deucalion.

"What?!" Lizzie shouted, outraged.

"What the hell?!" Hayley spat out.

"I need to know what happens next!" Rebekah shouted.
