i will never turn my back on the people who need me
HOPE WAS OUTSIDE, getting ready to practice for cross-country, seeing as the therapist practically forced her to do something. Other than art, running in wolf from was what made her feel better. But, seeing as she can't be in wolf form right now, this was as good as it was going to get for her.
Her body was still a little sore from the other night, barely visible scars lining her chest which were slowly disappearing. Even though her blood does have healing properties that of vampire blood, that doesn't mean she heals like one. But, she does heal faster than a regular wolf, which is a plus seeing as she's in danger every five minutes.
"She shouldn't be taking this long to heal, though," Klaus frowned.
"She exhausted herself by not eating and sleeping enough, plus she used so much of her magic while getting mauled," Freya spoke up quietly. "That would take a bit to heal. She should be fine soon, with no scars or anything."
She was currently wearing black fabletics high-waisted pants, a black sports bra with an off-the shoulder white shirt, and black nike's. Her long auburn hair was pulled back in two french braids — courtesy of Lydia.
"I love her and Lydia's friendship," Bonnie said with a small smile. "Reminds me of us," she smiled wider, turning to stare at Caroline and Elena.
"She sure does love braiding our hair," Elena commented with a smile.
Stretching, she bent down, touching the ground with her fingers. She had her eyes closed, breathing through her nose, and just listening to the nature surrounding her.
Stiles, who was behind her, made a sputtering noise, and choked on his saliva. Scott chuckled and patted him on the back, not knowing what caused his friend to react the way he was.
"Oh my god!" Caroline bursted into laughter at the face Stiles made as he stared down at Hope's backside.
"I will murder him!" Klaus shouted, turning and slapping Hayley on the arm when she just snorted at the scene.
"This is the best thing ever," Clarke commented with a smirk upon seeing Landon glaring holes into Stiles.
Opening her eyes, Hope looked at the boys from between her legs, and frowned in confusion when Stiles immediately looked away from her.
"How is she so oblivious?" Elena snickered, holding her hand over her mouth as she giggled at the scene.
"This boy is drooling over her and she doesn't even notice," Kol stated with a shake of his head, "I'm disappointed in my niece."
Davina rolled her eyes fondly at her husband, patting him on the shoulder.
Her blue eyes then landed on the twins to see that their eyes were practically burning into her.
Hayley immediately stopped laughing, and pursed her lips at the sight of the twins glaring at her daughter.
The twins then walked towards her, and she stood up automatically. But, they just passed her, not even glancing back to see her glare. They advanced towards Isaac who was tying his shoe, and Hope got protective real quick.
"Yeah... don't mess with those Hope calls her own," Clarke commented with a wince, "she gets angry and vengeful."
Coach Finstock suddenly blew hard on his whistle.
Hope ignored the older man and marched towards Isaac, instantly grabbing his shoulder to stop him from running after the twins who were smirking.
Scott and Stiles approached them, frowning. "Isaac?"
"It's them," Isaac confirmed before shoving Hope off of him so that he could run after the two boys.
Hope's eyes widened and she immediately ran after the blonde beta, not wanting him to end up hurt. Or worse, dead.
"Or worse... expelled," Caroline said in a very bad British accent which had Bonnie and Elena giggling.
"Isaac! Hope!" Scott shouted, his brown eyes wide before he rushed off after them.
Isaac used his werewolf speed to run right past the rest of team, while Scott and Hope chased after him.
The tribrid was easily dodging branches, jumping over rocks and roots, looking angelic.
"Of course she does, she's a Mikaelson," Rebekah retorted with a flip of her hair.
They were advancing on Isaac, but when he turned another corner on the trail, the twins had disappeared. Isaac spun in circles in search for them, and he could faintly hear Scott and Hops approaching from the distance.
Suddenly, two pairs of hands were on him before he went tumbling down a small hill.
The twins grabbed Isaac's arms, forcing him into a kneeling position.
"No, don't you dare touch him!" Caroline shouted with a gasp.
Katherine glanced at the blonde with a roll of her eyes.
"Ethan, I always forget, how many bones in the human body?" Aiden asked with a smug smirk, a glint in his blue eyes.
"I don't know, Aiden. Let's count," Ethan said, looking up at his brother. Just as he went to stomp on Isaac's leg, Scott rushed forward and slammed his fist into Ethan's left cheek.
"Yesss!" Lizzie and Caroline shouted together, jumping in their seats.
Clarke looked between the two blondes with furrowed brows. Either they're sisters or that's Lizzie's mother, because they look too alike and act too alike to not be related in some way.
"That's one," Scott chirped.
Hope smirked as the twins bared their rings and claws at Scott. She simply placed her hand over her mouth, fake yawned, and then exclaimed, "Autem!" The twins were picked up and then slammed backwards by an invisible source into trees.
"Show off," Clarke mumbled with a huff.
"Just like a Mikaelson," Bonnie retorted, shrugging when a few Mikaelson's sent her a glare.
Before anything else could be said or done, the sound of a girl screaming ripped through the air.
The five of them quickly rushed down the trail until they caught sight of the rest of team who were standing around a tree.
Hope pushed through the crowd and then paused when she saw what it was. A teenage boy was tied to the tree by a thin-leather leash around his neck. It was the boy that Scott said disappeared outside the animal clinic.
"Oh shit," Jed exclaimed, and then shrugged, shoving popcorn in his mouth.
Stiles swallowed thickly and glanced at his best friend. "It's him, isn't it?"
"Yeah."
"They never get a break, a feel like," Hayley commented with a frown.
Freya nodded, "it's one problem after another that they have to deal with."
SOON ENOUGH, POLICE was at the sight.
"Hey, get out of the way. Get back!" Sheriff shouted, before turning to look at one of his deputies. "Get this area cordoned off before they trample every piece of evidence."
The woman nodded, turning to the group of teens, "Back up! Everyone back!"
"Get these kids out of here!"
Stiles rushed forward, having to talk to his dad. He wanted to let him know that the boy's murder was connected to the others. "Dad, just come here. Look, look. Look at it. It's the same as the others, you see?"
"Yeah, I see that. Do me a favor. Go back to school, yeah?" Stilinski instructed, before turning toward Coach Finstock. "Coach, can you give us a hand here?"
"You heard the man. Nothing to see here. Probably just some homeless kid," Coach shouted, waving his arms around like a lunatic.
Scott winced. "Coach." When the man in question turned to him, he said, "He was a senior."
"He wasn't on the team, was he?" Coach asked, letting out a heavy sigh.
Elena frowned, "insensitive much?" She couldn't believe someone would care about something like that when a kid was just killed.
Others nodded in agreement with her, annoyed that the Coach seemed to care about Lacrosse more than a kids life.
"You're disgusting," Hope spat out, shaking her head. She can't believe that was his only thought and worry. A kid was just brutally killed, and all he cared about was the stupid lacrosse team.
"Exactly," Elena pointed, shaking her head in disappointment with the Coach.
A shrill scream rang through the air, and a blonde girl could he seen running towards scene, crying out, "Kyle!" She desperately tries to reach him, but a deputy held her back.
Hope felt bad and went to try and comfort the poor girl, but Scott grabbed her arm and shook his head.
The four of them slowly began to move away from the crime scene, and huddled together.
Isaac glanced back toward the twins, "You see the way the twins looked at him?"
"Yeah, you mean like they had no idea what happened?" Stiles suggested, looking over at the twins as well.
"No, no, they knew."
Stiles looked at Isaac like he was crazy. "The kid was strangled with a garrote, all right? Am I the only one recognizing the lack of werewolf-itude in these murders?"
"Werewolf-itude," Alaric repeated with a shake of his head. "If I didn't know any better, he is Damon's son or something."
Damon pursed his lips and then clicked his tongue, tilting his head back and forth. "You know what? I can't get mad at that because I actually like this Stiles guy."
Elena chuckled and grabbed his hand, entwining their fingers together. She knows now that they're both vampires, they can't have children, which is honestly kind of upsetting seeing as she has always wanted a big family. But, if she can have Damon at her side, she can take what she can get with her soulmate.
Isaac continued to stare at the twins, anger clear as day on his flawless face. "You think it's a coincidence they turn up, and then people start dying?"
"Well, no, but I still don't think it's them," Stiles denied, shaking his head.
"Scott?" Isaac asked, his eyebrows raised as he waited for Scott's input. "How about you?"
Stiles crossed his arms, completely expecting Scott to come out on his side of the argument.
"I don't know yet," Scott said hesitantly.
"You don't know yet?" Stiles repeated in exasperation.
"Well, he's got a point." Scott tried to reason, gesturing toward Isaac. "Seriously, dude, human sacrifices?"
Klaus smacked his lips. "Been there, dove that," she stated with a smirk.
Clarke whipped his head around to stare at Klaus before shrugging. Fair enough, because he too have sacrificed people and monsters to his father to stay alive.
Stiles gaped at Scott for a second, "Scott, your eyes turn into yellow glow sticks, okay? Hair literally grows from your cheeks, and then will immediately disappear, and if I were to stab you right now, it would magically heal, but you're telling me you're having trouble grasping human sacrifices?"
Lizzie snickered, "he's got a point."
"Imagine him randomly stabbing Scott just to prove his point," Kaleb stated before chuckling.
Lizzie began wheezing for some reason, "I need to see this now!"
Scott let out a sigh through his nose. "That's a good point, too," he said, looking over at Isaac. He then glanced over at Hope who was unusually quiet about the fact. "What about you, Hope?"
She blinked a couple of times before sighing. "Sacrifices are a thing. Stiles is right. No matter what the twins have or haven't done, I don't think this was them either. It just doesn't make sense."
"Well she would know best seeing as she was almost sacrificed the very day she was born," Kol retorted with a huff.
Isaac scowled, "I don't care, all right? They killed that kid. They killed the girl that saved me. And I'm gonna kill them, too."
"Isaac!" Hope called out and then sighed heavily, glancing over at the boys. "This isn't going to end so well."
Bonnie pursed her lips, "nope, it will not."
AFTER THE CROSS country practice, they were forced to go back to school and act like a dead body wasn't found.
"They continued school after a kid was found dead near the property?" Caroline stared in horror at that fact.
"Terrible schooling system," Elena mumbled.
Lizzie and Josie shrugged. "We have had school even with a monster held hostage in our basement. It could've been worse," the blonde stated.
Everyone slowly turned to stare at Alaric in disbelief.
Alaric held his hands on in defense, "hey, I'm not the future Alaric, okay?! I don't know what he was thinking."
"All right, since inerita is a subject of which you all know plenty, why don't we start with momentum?" Harris' monotone voice carried out across the classroom.
Hope had her hand on her cheek, sketching in her notebook. She was drawing a pair of eyes as Isaac sat beside her, brooding.
"Those eyes kind of look familiar," Caroline mumbled.
Scott was sat behind Isaac, leaning forwards to whisper to him as their teacher wrote on the chalkboard.
"They're here for a reason," Scott reminded Isaac, talking about the twins. "Give me a chance to figure it out before you do anything," he pleaded, "okay, Isaac?"
When the Lahey boy didn't reply, Hope turned her head to look at him, concerned. He just remained staring straight ahead, but Hope could tell that she had heard him due to the hardened look on his face.
"Danny," Mr Harris called out, "what do we know about momentum?"
"Oooh, kind of forgot about him," MG stated, and then shrugged.
"Jackson's gay bestie," Caroline commented before getting hit upside the head by Bonnie. "Ow! What was that for?!" She exclaimed, holding the back of her head. "Only like two of us in this room is straight, Bon Bon, why are you hitting me for that comment?!"
Bonnie chuckled with a grin. "I felt like it."
"You—" the blonde vampire sputtered. "You just felt like it?!" She repeated it back slowly before scoffing. "You know what? Fair enough."
Jed mumbled around his spoonful of ice cream, "who's straight?"
Everyone pointed to Stefan and Alaric.
"Hmm," Jed hummed and then went straight back to eating his ice cream that has an insane amount of sprinkles in it.
Caroline hummed and stared at him before smiling widely, "you too?"
Jed grinned and winked at her.
"Yay! We have collected another fruit!" Caroline laughed almost maniacally.
Elena and Bonnie shared a look before shaking their head fondly at their best friend.
Katherine scuffed, looking at her finger nails as she is slowly getting bored with everything.
Danny blinked and registered that it was he who Harris was talking to. "It's the product of mass and velocity. The more massive something is, the faster it's going."
All throughout Danny's explanation, Isaac seemed to grow more and more agitated. Once Danny finished his explanation, the blonde called out, "Mr Harris, can I use the bathroom, please?"
Harris didn't say anything but slowly gestured towards the door. Isaac immediately picked up his books, rushing out of the room.
Hops and Scott then both stood up at the exact same time, causing Harris to raise his brows.
"I have to go to the bathroom, too," they both spoke simultanenously, before looking at each other with wide eyes.
"One at a time," Harris droned.
"But I really have to go," Scott begged, "like, medical emergancy have to go." He began bouncing a little in place, making it look like he was about to wet himself.
Lizzie cackled, eyes watering as she laughed loudly at the display
Harris simply rolled his lifeless eyes. "Mr McCall, if your bladder suddenly exploded, and urine began to pour from every orifice, I would still respond 'one at a time'."
"Oh, I would totally rip into his neck if I was there," Caroline spat before sitting on straighter when a few people gave her side-eyes. "What? He's an asshole just like Mr. Tanner was. And he got what he deserved." She then turned to Damon with slightly narrowed eyes. "Now... don't let this get to your oversized ego, but I'm glad you got rid of that asshat."
Damon smirked and straightened up in his seat. "You're welcome, Blondie."
Hope pursed her lips and stared the older man straight in the eyes. "Would you like it if I just bled out on your chair? If so, I know a thing or two on how to get blood stains out."
"Oooh," Lizzie breathed out before clapping her hands. "She got that one from me."
"Oh, my god, she totally stole it from you!" Jed exclaimed, practically vibrating in his seat. "I remember... what was it? Eighth grade; you used that same line on that new potions teacher that for some reason hated witches."
Lizzie smirked, "he had it coming."
"I remember that Josie and you turned him green for a week straight, and when he tried to give you guys detention, Lizzie somehow got him fired," Kaleb commented with a chuckle. "Which was good because he was close to becoming the Coach for Wickery."
"Wickery?" Caroline asked with furrowed brows.
"Basically Quidditch, but we could never figure out how to charm the brooms just right to play," Lizzie replied. "Alyssa Chang fell off once and got hurt," she shrugged, "Bitch had it coming, though."
The whole class grew silent, just staring at the girl with wide eyes.
Harris' eye twitched and he even looked a little disgusted. Good, Hope thought. "Hurry!" He exclaimed, gesturing to the door.
The tribrid sent a wink to Scott and Stiles before strutting out of the classroom. She decided to be a little dramatic, so she flipped her hair, did a little wave to Harris with her fingers, and then left the room.
Klaus smirked and glanced over at Rebekah, "she learnt that move from you, I'm quiet certain."
The blonde Mikaelson smirked, "a girls gotta learn how to manipulate men, and look hot while doing it."
After closing the door, she turned around to only be met with Isaac who was staring at Ethan and Aiden down the hall.
Suddenly, Aiden punched Ethan across the face with a sadistic smile on his face.
"Uh..." Damon trailed off.
"What the—" Lizzie tilted her head and then her eyes widened. "Oh, they're pulling a switch-a-roo of some sort. Kinda like what I did to Madison Smith in year six, when I caught my own hair on fire and blamed it on her just to get her kicked out of school."
"Why would you do that?!" Caroline exclaimed, honestly horrified by the easy statement.
Lizzie furrowed her brows and looked over at her mother. "She made fun of Josie. What else was I suppose to do?"
Josie glanced at her sister with a frown, just now realizing that — even though the strategy was a little crazy and harmful — Lizzie was always there for her, protecting her. And there she was, lying about stuff, and coming up with nasty rumors to hurt her.
"How about talk to a teacher or some sort of adult to handle the situation?" Alaric rhetorically asked as he stared at the blonde with wide eyes.
Lizzie hummed and then shrugged. "They're never much help when you actually need it."
Kaleb nodded in agreement, "she's not wrong. We mostly had to handle all the bad guys because the adults were either gone or simply not strong enough to help."
Caroline was absolutely horrified. "This school doesn't sound safe. At all."
"Not run by Alaric, that is," the author threw some shade at Alaric who grunted in surprise and alarm.
Isaac glanced back at the tribrid and they both turned to look back at the twins who were now both smiling as Aiden sent Ethan to the floor, blood coming from his mouth.
He didn't care, he just grinned at them, showing off the crimson blood. Aiden helped his brother up off of the ground, and just as Hope thought they were going to stop, Aiden slammed Ethan's head into the lockers, denting it badly.
"Holy shit!"
Elena had her hand over her mouth as she gasped.
"They're crazy," Josie breathed out in horror.
Kol cackled. "Just my type of people."
Davina rolled her eyes fondly before kissing his cheek.
"What the hell?" Hope asked as she made her way beside Isaac, laying a hand on his arm.
Aiden then threw his brother across the hall so he landed right in front of their feet.
The door clicked from behind them and Harris rushed out, along with the rest of the class. Aiden quickly left unnoticed.
"What is this?" Harris demanded, staring in surprise at the four of them, "what is going on?"
"You all right?" Danny rushed to Ethan's side, placing an arm on the werewolf's shoulders as he pretended to try and get up, letting out a fake groan.
Ethan shook his head, "he — he just came right at me. And she—" he pointed at Hops weakly, "she joined in and kicked me in a bad place."
Lizzie snorted. "A bad place! Come on, just say dick, it's not a bad word. Actually, it's quite fun to use."
Kol grinned at Lizzie. He really does like her and the energy she gives off.
"Isaac! Hope!" Harris snapped loudly, staring at the teenagers in anger. "What the hell did you do?!"
Hope sent a glare to Ethan who sent a wink her way. She crossed her arms over her chest and looked up at Harris. "He got what he deserved." She decided to play along seeing as they were going to get in trouble no matter what they say.
Scott clenched his jaw, and while he appeared to be calm on the outside, he was anything but. He knew Hope and Isaac didn't do it, it was kind of obvious by the smirk on Ethan's face. So, he was going to get back at them. Nobody messes with his friends.
"Protective Scott!" Caroline shouted, excited to see how this was going to play out.
HOPE AND ISAAC was sent to detention and their punishment was organizing the janitor's closet.
"Absolute bollocks!" Klaus grunted, shaking his head.
Hope pulled a box of tissues off of the cart, and stood on her tippy-toes — even though she was in heels — and reached for the taller shelf. She let out an aggravated breath, annoyed at herself for being so short.
Hayley snorted. "I really don't know where she got the short genes."
"Same here," Rebekah commented, "everyone in our family is quite tall."
"Maybe it's from my side," Hayley mumbled, pursing her lips. "Who knows."
Isaac chuckled at her attempts and reached above her, his chest hitting her back, grabbed the box from her, and placed it on top of the shelf for her. "You're welcome."
Caroline squealed a bit, wiggling in her seat much like a puppy wiggled when it gets exited.
"I thought we were rooting for Stiles and Hope?" Elena whispered as she leaned over her boyfriend to look her best friend in the eyes.
"Oh, we are, but Isaac is hot, so..."
Landon closed his eyes and counted to ten in his head. Yeah... it looks like he's not getting Hope back. Either she'll end up with Isaac or Stiles and leave him in the dusts
The tribrid playfully glared up at the beta, and then chuckled to herself. "Its a curse being so short." She then frowned as she thought about what Lizzie would say. 'How's the weather down there, Mikaelson?' She would smirk and raise a brow. Sighing, Hope reached from another box to put on another shelf.
Lizzie smirked to herself and nodded. "I totally would. Actually, been there and done that."
Isaac was uncomfortable, that much Hope could tell, and she doesn't blame him. His breathing was irregular, and he kept glancing to the open door to check to see if there was still an exit.
"Are you alright?" Hope asked, her voice kind and gentle, almost as if she was talking to a scared child.
He licked his lips, turning back to his work as he quickly stuffed supplies onto shelves. "Yeah, yeah. You know, just not a fan of small spaces."
A pang formed in her chest and she swallowed thickly. She couldn't blame him — being abused the way he was, and being locked in a freezer for long periods of times — that would mess with anyone's mind.
Klaus frowned and thought to himself; if he ever meets this boy, he's going to take him in like he did Marcel and protect him.
Thinking about Marcel, he glanced over at him and sighed to himself. He still loves and cared for Marcel like a son, but it's been watered down over the years, especially after all the betrayals.
Isaac sighed heavily at the look she was giving him. "Don't look at me like that, Hope. I don't like it."
She sent him a small smile. "It'll be alright, Isaac. I'm here for you." She tilted her head up at him, getting an idea. "Hey," she whispered and looked him in the eyes. "Papilio lux." She made a butterfly shape with her hands and suddenly a golden butterfly appeared, floating above Isaac's head before disappearing.
Clarke tilted his head, his heart feeling warm as he thought about how Hope had used that same spell on him while they were in Malivore.
He swallowed thickly and his eyes widened in surprise and awe at the sight. "What did you do?"
"It's suppose to provide a peace of mind," she told him with a small smile.
He blinked rapidly and then smiled to himself. "Thank you," he breathed out. He no longer felt scared of being in such a tight space. "Thank you for caring. Thank you for being here." He looked her in the eyes as she stared up at him in surprise. "If you weren't here... I think I would feel more scared and alone. You make me feel like I belong and that I am not a waste of space. So... thank you for being here, in this universe."
"Precious boy," Freya cooed.
"I love their friendship so much," Rebekah said with a small smile.
After her birthday, Hope had finally explained to Isaac who she really was, and how she got here. He took it a lot better than she thought he would.
"You're welcome, Isaac." She laid a soft hand on his arm. "I will always be here for you."
His smile brightened even more, and honestly, it made things feel better. "I am glad that you're okay."
She wanted to ask what the term 'okay' even meant anymore. She was just attacked by two wolves a couple of nights ago, and now there is two alpha's running around their school trying to mess shit up.
But, she guesses things could be worse.
"Oh no," Caroline groaned. "Never say that. Things always get worse if you say something like that."
"I'm glad that you're okay, too."
And just like that, the door was slammed shut, startling the both of them. It was just plain darkness now, and all that could be heard was erratic breathing from Isaac.
"Well fuck!"
The blonde approached the door quickly, jiggling the handle desperately, "Oh no, no, no, no."
Hope took a cautious step toward him, "Maybe it's locked from the outside."
He leaned against the door, still jiggling the door knob, body pressed up against it. "No, there's something against it." He shoved his shoulder into it hard, but it remained shut.
"If you move, I can blast it open with my magic," the tribrid tried to reason with the panic-filled beta. "Isaac..."
"Aw, she's trying to make sure she doesn't hurt him," Elena said with a small smile, although she was chewing on the inside of her cheek in worry for both of them.
He took off his sweater, allowing it to slide off his body. His breathing was erratic and he was looking around frantically for an escape route.
"Isaac. Please let me—"
He jerked wildly, and his blue eyes looked into her own blue ones, terror hiding in them. The spell she put on him was no longer doing its job. He tore his fingers through his curly hair, before leaning against the door.
"Isaac, listen to me, please. I can get it open. You just have to move out of the way." Hope reached for his arm in the dark, desperately trying to get him to calm down enough to get out of harms way before she blows the door off its hinges.
"No!" He shouted, her words not even processing in his mind. All he could hear was his father taunting him from outside the freezer, laughing at his pain. "Let me out!" He began banging on the door violently, "Come on, come on!"
Tears were gathering in the girls' eyes, feeling bad for the poor boy, hating his father for what he had done to him.
Klaus was clenching his jaw and his hands into fists as he glared at the screen, wishing that Isaac's father was alive just for him to tear his head from his body after locking him in a freezer for a week straight.
Paybacks a bitch, after all.
Hope swallowed thickly, taking a step back, her blue eyes wide as he kept punching the door and screaming.
"Isaac, please, just listen to my voice. Listen to my voice and count with me," she spoke calmly and clearly, trying to get him to make eye contact.
Suddenly, Isaac went rigid, and he was breathing heavily. Slowly, he turned to stare at her, his eyes glowing brightly in the dark room. He began growling loudly, his claws growing.
"No..." Caroline gasped quietly, hands over her mouth as she sobbed.
"Isaac..." Hope pleaded, not wanting to hurt him if he attacks. "You don't what to do this."
Isaac lunged at her, claws sinking into her arm, drawing blood. He slammed her backwards into a shelf which sent a terrible pain up her spine.
Klaus was conflicted; he understands that all Isaac is seeing and hearing right now was that freezes and the laughing of his father, feeling only fear. But, he also wants to rip Isaac's head clean off just for hurting his daughter.
"Isaac!" Hope roared, slamming her hands into her chest. A bright light appeared, and then suddenly, Isaac was slamming harshly into the door which busted apart by the impact.
"Damn!" Kaleb hissed.
"Hope!" Scott's voice could be heard and he appeared with Allison by his side in front of the doorway. "Are you okay?" His eyes widened when he saw the blood on her arm.
Isaac sat up, all evidence of the wolf gone. All that was left was a scared and guilty looking boy. He looked up at Hope who stepped out into the hallway, and his eyes widened. "Hope, I didn't mean to do that!" He exclaimed, his voice shaking. He slumped against the wall, running his long and dainty fingers through his blonde hair. "I'm so sorry. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. It just happened."
Hayley cried as she watched the scene. Just like Klaus, she's angry and protective, wanting no one to touch her daughter, but she can also understand Isaac and why the wolf took over.
Hope sighed softly and bent down to look the boy in the eyes. "It's fine, Isaac. I'm not mad at you." She ran her hand through his hair, giving him a small smile. "I don't blame you at all for this." Her eyes then darkened. "But, I know who the blame falls onto. The twins." She stood up and turned to Scott who looked ready to get revenge, too. "What do you say, Scotty, about a little payback?"
Klaus smirked, "and here comes the devil in disguise."
Isaac perked up at the thought. "What are we going to do?"
Scott nodded, "Yeah, I'm gonna get them angry. Really angry."
"Watch it be something stupid," Bonnie whispered, giggling to Caroline.
HOPE SMIRKED AS Scott sat himself next to the alpha twins, offering them smiles. She sent a wave to them as she sat beside Scott.
Both twins side-glanced them warily as Ms. Blake wrote on the chalkboard.
Scott rummaged through his backpack, placing parts of a bike on his desk, "This looks kind of important."
"Oh, no, not the bike, man," Kaleb said with wide eyes. "They were a beauty."
Ethan and Aiden both straightened, the rage pulsating from their bodies.
Scott continued taking out parts, spinning on in his hands before placing it onto his desk. He chuckled before saying, "I have no idea what this does."
Their jaws clench, and Aiden looked ready to pounce.
"Aiden, no! Don't!" Ethan warned just as Aide launched himself out of his seat, and sprinted out of the classroom.
Hope manically smirked and sent a wink to Ethan. "You might want to go after him..."
Ms. Blake just stared, her mouth slack.
Scott and Hope glance to one another, the sound of an engine roaring growing closer in the hall.
Everyone slid out of their desks curiously, venturing to the door.
Students spilled into the hallway, and Hope and Scott stood to the front, smiling when they saw Isaac standing with his arms crossed.
Aiden's chest heaved as he gripped his motorcycle angrily.
Allison came to Hope's side, and they both fist-bumped with smug smirks on their faces.
"Them," Caroline said with a small smile and heart eyes.
"Didn't Allison try to kill her?" Bonnie asked with furrowed brows.
"And Damon tried to kill literally all of us at one point, but now look at him," the blonde gestured to Damon who had just been kissing the knuckles on Elena's hand. "He's like a neutered pup."
"Oh, fuck off, Blondie," Damon glared, but that only made the rest of the Scooby Gang laugh at him.
Ms. Blake stomped to the center of it all, her heels clicking. "You have got to be kidding me! You realize this will result in a suspension."
Aiden gulped as he and his brother both glared at the group.
"Point one for us," Hope mouthed to them, sending them a wink.
