here comes a feeling you thought you have forgotten

SEEING AS HOPE was over at Stiles, doing research on portals or any other way to help her find her way back home, she had no choice but to go to the station with Stiles. And on the way there, they had stopped to get something to eat.

"She's spending an awfully lot of time with him," Lizzie commented with a grin. She then shot Landon a look, "you've lost the girl, Frodo."

Landon held any retort he wanted to say by clenching his teeth together. He's not blind, he can tell that Hope is already closer to this 'Stiles' guy more than she was with him. But, that doesn't mean they'll end up together. So, he stays hopeful.

"Oh, what the hell is this?" Sheriff Stilinski grimaced, pulling the burger away from his face, his mouth full.

"Veggie burger," Stiles replied, moving forward and grabbing his drink off of the sheriff's desk that they were eating at.

"Stiles, I asked for a hamburger." Noah's nose was turned up in disgust as he carried on chewing through the mixed up vegetables and other ingrediants inside.

The Stilinksi boy lifted up his salad. "Well, veggie is healthier. We're being healthy." He peeled open the lid and shot his dad a sarcastic smile.

The Sheriff pulled open another box only to reveal carrot and cellery sticks. "Oh hell, why are you trying to ruin my life?" He grumbled and then glanced over to see what Hope was eating. "Bu—but she has a hamburger."

Caroline sniggered. "This is so funny."

She swallowed the piece of the burger she had in her mouth and smirked. "It's because I threatened to push him out of the car if he got me something I didn't want." She then held up he shake. "And because he was scared of me, he got me this."

"Of course she did," Josie said with a shake of her head.

Noah looked amused as he asked, "what is it?"

"Peanut butter blast with whip cream on the bottom. It's really good."

Landon worked up, smiling, "she remembers."

Lizzie scoffed, "of course she does, Fawkes Wannabe, that's been her favorite drink since she was like twelve. Of course she would remember it."

Landon shot Lizzie an annoyed look. She really can't let me have one good moment, can she?

She took a sip of it and then offered it over to Stiles. "You wanna try?"

That once scene just soured Landon's mood even more.

He rose a brow. "Sure." He leaned forward and took a sip, neither of them noticing the look Noah was giving them. He pulled back and licked his lips. "That's better than I thought it would be."

"Aw! He likes them too," Rebekah grinned.

Damon clicked his tongue, "fine, they're actually kind of cute together."

"See," Elena grinned, "I told you that you would like the idea of them together."

"They're not even together," Landon grumbled.

Hope smiled brightly. "I knew you would like it." She then happily took a handful of fries and shoved it on her mouth.

Stiles turned to his father. "I'm not tying to ruin your life. Okay, I'm trying to extend your life, okay? Could you just eat it please? And tell me what you found."

"No, I'm not sharing confidential police work with two teenagers." The Sheriff looked at his son as if he was crazy.

Hope's gaze flickered from her hamburger up to the board behind Noah, and a small smirk tugged at the corner of her lips. "Is that it behind you?" She jerked her head in the direction of the board with pictures and arrows.

Hayley smirked, "she's too much like me."

Klaus gave her a look, "too much like the both of us."

Elijah swallowed, clenching his jaw as he glanced between them. He should've known that they would've found their way together at some point, considering they have history and a child together.

Stiles perked up, trying to look behind his dad's head. Noah shook his head, waving a hand at Stiles. "Don't look at that. Avert your eyes."

"Okay," Stiles replied, but didn't look away, even going as far as to push himself up in his seat using the arm rests either side of him.

"Hey!"

"Okay—"

"Stop!" Noah tried to block his view.

"Just — it's just — I see arrows pointing at pictures," Stiles muttered, sitting back down properly in his seat.

Hope giggled and took a sip of her shake, watching the father and son duo like they were a show.

"They are one right now," Damon retorted.

"Okay, okay, stop." Noah waved his hands again, cutting Stiles off. "Fine. I found something. The mechanic and the couple who were murdered. They all had something in common."

"All three?"

"Yeah. You know what I always say. One's an incident. Two's a coincidence."

"Three's a pattern," Stiles mumbled, and that is what made Hope sit up straight in the chair.

"The mechanic, the husband, the wife- all the same age. All twenty four."

Hope frowned, her eyebrows furrowing together. "What about Isaac's dad? He definitely wasn't twenty four."

Most of everyone snickered at that, even though they don't recall ever seeing Isaac's father.

Noah nodded. "That's right. Which makes me think either 'A,' Lahey's murder wasn't connected or 'B,' the ages were a coincidence, until I found this, which would be 'C'." He handed Stiles some paper, showing a military armed forces personnel file. "Did you know Isaac Lahey had an older brother named Camden?"

They looked at him in surprise. They definitely didn't know that.

"Died in combat'?" Stiles read the bold, red letters printed across the page.

"But if he were alive today, take one guess as to how old he'd be."

Hope hummed. "I'm gonna go with twenty four."

"Things are getting really interesting," Caroline stated with a grin.

"Getting interesting?" Bonnie rhetorically asked. "It's had me hooked since the moment Hope landed in that world and used her magic."

THE TRIO MOVED to stand in front of the investigation board, the bright light of the Sheriff's lamp lighting up the entire thing.

"Now what if same age means same class — I mean, did you think of that?" Stiles wondered out loud.

Noah nodded. "Yeah, yeah." He didn't sound too convincing. "Well, I would've. I mean, I — look, I just got Lahey's files two hours ago."

"Two hours?" Stiles repeated in disbelief, whirling around to face his dad. "Dad, people could be dying."

"Yeah, I'm aware of that. Thank you." Noah glared back at his son.

Hope sighed heavily. "Okay, what about checking old Beacon Hills High yearbooks? Surely something will come up."

Noah and Stiles' eyes both widened and the Sheriff quickly got hold of all of the files and yearbooks that he could. He slammed them on the desk and they searched through them, Stiles being the one to find it.

"Okay, this is it. Class of 2006." He pulled out a folder and opened it, his eyebrows furrowing together. "They all went to Beacon Hills."

Sheriff Stilinski pointed his finger at a file he had in his own hands. "Including Isaac's brother."

"All right, but so what if they all knew each other, you know? I mean, two of them were married, so maybe they all just hung out," Stiles pointed out, looking at his dad.

Noah shook his head as he flipped through the pages. "They could've had the same classes together, they could've—" He paused, staring down at the paper in front of him.

Hope moved to Noah's side as Stiles frowned at him. "What?"

"Seriously?" Hope rhetorically asked when she saw Mr Harris' face printed on the paper. "Harris was their teacher?" She looked up at Noah. "All of them?"

"See!" Bonnie exclaimed. "I definitely think it's him."

Noah nodded. "All four," he confirmed. "And I don't know how Mr Lahey fits in, but this — kids, this is definitely a pattern. All right, Hope, pass me the 2006 yearbook. These names, we need faces."

Hope quickly jumped into action, her long fingers shuffling through all of the books on the desk until she found the yearbook that Noah had previously requested. "Which ones?" She asked, flipping it open as Noah began to call someone on the telephone beside him.

"Everyone in that chemistry class," he replied as Stiles hovered behind her. "If the killer's not done killing..."

"One of them's next."

"Oooh," Lizzie rubbed her hands together. "Something is about to go down."

HOPE MADE HER way outside, the chilly air hitting her in the face. Seeing as she was running a little slow this morning, Scott and Stiles was waiting for her in the Jeep.

Opening up the door, she rose a brow at Scott. "Can you move your ass so I can get in?"

"Dang. You're grumpy today," Stiles mused as Scott got out of the Jeep, allowing Hope to climb in and over the seats.

"Look at her tiny body move," Lizzie giggled, amused at seeing how Hope kind of struggled getting in Stiles' jeep.

"I barely slept. I was up all night researching anything else about the Kanima and then trying to find a spell to get me back home." She placed herself in the back seat and sighed heavily. "I'm starting to lose hope."

Lizzie snorted, "isn't that the whole point of your name?" She rhetorically asked the screen with a grin.

Stiles chuckled but quickly shut up when she glared at him. "Sorry. It's just ironic because Hope is your name. Anyway.. what did I tell you? I said I would help you find your way home. I'm not going to stop until we find something." Even though he said it, there was still a little ache in his chest. He didn't want her to leave.

"Aw, he'd rather lose her than allow her to stay there suffering," Rebekah said with a sad smile, "or what he thinks is suffering."

"I think he's perfect for our daughter," Hayley stated with a small smile, aiming it at Klaus.

The 'big bad hybrid' frowned and narrowed his eyes.

"I will help, too," Scott spoke up before sighing. "I couldn't get us tickets to the underground show thing. Did you know that they're seventy five dollars each? Anyway, that's not the point."

"So, what is the point then?" Stiles grumbled, frustrated. He didn't take his eyes off of the road as they made their way to school.

"The point is, Jackson turned up and just cut the line — I think he was in Kanima mode or whatever."

Stiles' eyebrows knitted together in confusion. "I'm sorry, I don't think I understand. You didn't get tickets because Jackson cut the line?"

Scott let out a groan of frustration. "No! I mean, kind of. He was acting really weird. He freaked out the girl selling the tickets so much that she just left. He just stared at her the whole time. He didn't say a word. It was intense."

Hope leaned her head against the seats behind her. "Great. So now we don't have tickets." Even though she didn't see Matt as a threat, Allison was very uncomfortable with the idea of going to the club with him. So, being a friend, Hope wants to watch them and jump in if anything happened. And now, seeing as Jackson has taken an interest, well... things just got more complicated.

"Hope is such a good friend," Elena said, knowing that she would be there to back up her friends as well if someone was creeping them out.

"Yeah," the Super Squad nodded in agreeing, even though they have been through plenty of rough patches together.

The jeep pulled up in front of the school and they all clambered out.

"There's got to be some other way to get tickets, right?" Scott questioned hopefully, looking over at the two of them who had gotten out of the car on the other side.

"It's a secret show. There's only one way, and it's a secret," Stiles explained, annoyed.

"Hey." The three turned around to face Matt who was looking at them with furrowed brows. "Do any of you guys know why no one's getting suspended after what happened the other day at school?"

"Just forget about it," Stiles spoke rather harshly. "Nobody got hurt."

Matt turned to look at him. "I had a concussion."

"Well, nobody got seriously hurt." Stiles glared at him.

"Plsss," Lizzie chuckled, "he so does not like Matt."

"I don't blame him, he gives me the jeebies," Bonnie stated with a shiver.

"Same," Caroline and Elena said in sync, and quickly turned to one another, "jinks!" They pointed to one another and giggled.

Lizzie smiled fondly at her mother and her favorite aunt, before glancing to Josie, knowing that they are like that too.

It was Matt's turn to glare. "I was in the ER for six hours."

"Hey, do you wanna know the truth, Matt?" Stiles only grew more annoyed and edged a little closer to the other boy. "Your little bump on the head is about this high on our list of problems right now." He moved his hand to the ground, his voice raising the more he spoke, even his eye twitched.

Lizzie and Kol snorted and rolled off of their chairs, almost in sync.

Klaus rolled his eyes, "Kol, get off of the floor."

Kol stuck his tongue out at his brother and giggled. "If I ever meet this Stiles boy, I'm adopting him as my own. In my mind, he's already mine."

Freya shook her head, but her mouth quirked up in amusement. "He already has a father, Kol."

Kol shrugged. "Who cares? If I have to, I'll kill his father."

"Kol!" The other Originals exclaimed, while pretty much everyone else gaped at him.

"What?!" Kol exclaimed right back at his family. "You're acting like this is the first time I have ever said something like that." He rolled his eyes, getting back on his seat.

Hope rose a brow at Stiles and glanced to Matt who was both confused and annoyed. She grabbed Stiles by the arm and pulled him up from where he was still kneeling down, sending him a glare. But, even though she was glaring, he could still see the amusement in her eyes which made him smile a little.

"See, even your own daughter can't help but be amused," Kol stated, pointing to the screen.

"That's probably because you're her favorite uncle," Rebekah retorted with an eye roll. "You've corrupted her."

Kol sat up straight with a smug look on his face.

"Are you okay?" Scott genuinely asked Matt.

"I think he's a little too nice," Klaus stated, "too trusting."

"There's nothing wrong with that," MG stated with a wide grin, raising his brows. He feels like if he and Scott ever met, they would be really good friends, even though they're complete opposite species.

Klaus rolled his eyes at the naive boy, "there's plenty wrong with that, baby vamp."

"I'm fine now." Matt's eyes awkwardly shifted over to Stiles, as if waiting for another sarcastic comment. "So, you didn't get any tickets last night either."

Scott shook his head as Stiles looked away, annoyed. "Are they still selling?"

Matt shook his head as he glanced at Hope. "Uh, no, but I managed to find two online. You should keep trying. Sounds like everyone's gonna be there." He smiled and then walked away.

Hayley narrowed his eyes, "why did he look at my daughter like that?"

Klaus sat up a little straighter, "I think the boy with the stupid buzz cut might be right to be suspicious of him."

Stiles glared heatedly at his retreating figure. "I don't like him." He then looked his best friend in the eyes. "Hey, are you sure about this?"

Scott nodded, determined. "Last time, whoever's controlling Jackson had to kill somebody because he didn't finish the job, so what do you think he's going to do this time?"

Hope crossed her arms. "We're gonna be there to make sure no one gets hurt."

Klaus grinned, proud of how strong his daughter his, and how, even though it sucks sometimes, she is willing to lend in a hand and help.

THEY WERE ALL gathered in the backroom of Beacon Hill's veterinary office.

Deaton said that he had something that could potentially help the group rein in Jackson when they find him tonight at the rave.

None of them really knew anything about Deaton, but it was an unspoken rule that they trusted him more than a lot of the people who were tied up in the supernatural. He tended to always help Scott in a time of need, so he was their guide and healer — of sorts.

"An emissary," Hayley stated with a nod. Her own pack didn't have one, but she has heard of them. They're suppose to help out a certain pack and guide them, helping them with their shifts and any other problems that may occur.

The door swung open and the man himself came in, carrying a couple things. He smiled at the three of them before setting them on the table. He ushered them over with a wave of his hand and they formed a small semi-circle around the table.

"This will help with the kanima problem," Deaton stated, holding up a small bottle and what looked like a syringe with some kind of spring mechanism attached to it.

"Ketamine?" Hope asked with a tilt of her head after realizing what it was. "You want us to sedate him?"

"It's the same stuff we use on the dogs, just a higher dosage," Deaton told her with a nod. "If you can get close enough to Jackson, it should slow him down enough to buy you some time."

Scott grabbed the syringe off the counter and nodded. Deaton gave a small nod back before plucking a jar off the counter. It was small, but much larger than the ketamine vile. It had a weird symbol on the front, a vertical black line with two horizontal ones jutting out towards the right side. And it looked like it was filled with black sand.

"May I ask how a jar of black sand is going to help?"

"It's Mountain Ash, actually. This is some of what you will use to create the barrier. This part is for you, Stiles," he told them, pointing at the human as he sat it down. "Only you."

Klaus huffed, "why the pathetic human?"

Freya frowned and tilted her head at the screen. "I don't think he's simply a human..." Everyone turned to her with raised brows. "It seems like an important job, far too important that they would just let a simple human do it."

Klaus pursed his lips and faced the screen, curious.

"Uh, that sounds like a lot of pressure," Stiles stated and picked the jar off the table. "Could we maybe find a slightly less pressure filled task for me?"

Scott and Hope just gave him a look which he gave them a shrug in return.

"It's from the Mountain Ash tree, which is believed by many cultures to protect against the supernatural," Deaton stated, before pointing around the room. "This office is lined with ash wood, making it difficult for someone like Scott to cause me any trouble."

Klaus rubbed at his jaw, "interesting."

"I have never heard of something like this," Bonnie stated, frowning at the screen. "Otherwise, I would've used it to ward off vampires a long time ago."

Damon turned to her with slightly narrowed eyes. "And here is thought we were becoming friends."

Bonnie shrugged with a smirk. "What, you thought I would simply forget everything vampires have done since you and your brother came to town? If I had known about your kind back then, I would've circled the town in this so called Mountain Ash to make sure we would've never went through so much pain and loss."

Elena swallowed thickly, understanding where Bonnie was coming from. But, she also knows that if it wasn't for Stefan and Damon; Bonnie probably would've never found her true calling, Caroline wouldn't be as comfortable in her own skin as she is now, and she never would've found her soulmate in Damon.

But then again, Jeremy would've never had lost his parents, Vicki (no matter how much she had disproved of that relationship), or Anna, or Aunt Jenna. And Bonnie would've never lost her Grams, Jonas, or her father.

Things would've been much simpler.

Everything was swirling her mind, and once again, she feels a weight on her chest.

"So, then what? I just spread this around the whole building and then either Jackson or whoever's controlling it can cross it?" Stiles asked tentatively.

"They'll be trapped," Deaton confirmed with a nod.

Hope smiled and patted the boy on the shoulder. "Doesn't sound too bad, Stiles."

"Not always," Deaton cut in and Stiles groaned. "Think of it like gun powder; it's just powder, till a spark ignites it. You need to be that spark, Stiles."

Stiles scoffed and his eyes widened. "If you mean light myself on fire, I don't think I'm up for that."

"He's so dramatic," Kaleb said with a grin, "like a certain blonde I know." He nudged Lizzie who stuck her tongue out in response. He chucked, sipping his drink.

"I don't think he means self-immolation, Stiles," Hope rolled her eyes at the sarcastic boy.

Deaton laughed as he looked between the three of them. "Maybe I should try a different analogy. I used to golf. I learned that the best golfers never swing before first imagining where they want the ball to go. They see it in their mind and their mind takes over. It can be pretty extraordinary what the power of your own will can accomplish."

"Force of will," Stiles repeated and looked down with another groan.

"Hey," Deaton said, getting Stiles to look back up. "If this is going to work, Stiles, you have to believe it." He waved his hands out in what was meant to be an implication of believing.

Stiles sighed, before copying it, and shooting them a small smile. "Okay. I got it."

Rebekah shook her head, "I don't think he's got it."

Stefan sighed, "why do we have to watch this?"

Everyone was quiet at his question.

"Because she's family," the Originals snapped, glaring at the Ripper.

"She's our friend," the Super Squad said.

Lizzie frowned, "from the stories we were told, you sounded so much cooler and nicer."

"What does that have to do with me? With us?" He quickly corrected, gesturing to himself and the other Scooby Gang.

"Because she is a part of your futures, as well," the author snapped, annoyed with Stefan. "She's your kid's friend, and even a mentor to others. And if it wasn't for her, this town would've been destroyed by monsters and the like "

Stefan looked around at everyone, not used to everyone being annoyed or glaring at him. He sighed and looked back to the screen.

HOPE WAS WALKING around the club, looking more out of place than she has ever been. This is the first legit party she has been to since Lizzie and Josie's birthday party. And, well — that one ended up her with her decapitating zombies and dancing with Rafael.

"I remember this," Josie said with a nod, eyebrows raised high on her forehead. "I was buried alive by mombie dearest."

"I was dumped and left alone at our birthday party," Lizzie said with a frown. "And you were getting buried alive and having to chop dead bodies apart..." she frowned even deeper. "And then we had to siphon bio mom to death basically, although she was already dead. So tragic." She sighed sadly, "Worst party ever!"

Josie eyed her sister, not believing that she simply said, 'so tragic' about siphoning their mother away.

"I'm sorry, what?!" Caroline practically screeched. "Start over."

"Our fifteenth birthday party was a bust, basically," Lizzie stated, crossing her arms.

"Dumped? Buried alive? Zombies?! Siphoned someone to death? And bio mom?!" Caroline exclaimed in one breath, inhaling loudly at the end. "I one again, say, what?!"

Lizzie sighed, licking her lips. "It's a even longer story, okay? We'll get around to it eventually."

Caroline pouted and crossed her arms. "I have too many questions, but no one will answer them."

Elena reached around her boyfriend to pat Caroline's arm. "We'll find out everything soon enough, Care."

"God, I hope so," Bonnie chimed in, "I'm so curious about everything."

Damon nodded, kissing the side of Elena's forehead. "Honestly, me too."

And the worst thing about it — Lydia had found out about it somehow, and demanded to dress her. So, she was wearing a red flowery dress that flowed at the bottom and went mid-thigh. Her signature high-heeled boots was replaced by three inch silver high-heels. Her hair was curled perfectly and ran down her back. Her makeup was light, but made her eyes pop out more.

"She's so gorgeous!" Rebekah exclaimed, wiping away a tear. "Look at our little girl grow," she said, smiling. "I'm so proud of her."

She groaned as a body slammed into her hands, sending her stumbling into a random person's chest. She quickly apologized before moving her way through the crowd. Almost instantly, she could see Allison being uncomfortable around Matt.

Okay, so... Hope will admit that she does get weird vibes from the human, but she still didn't completely think he was the bad guy.

"Always trust your gut," was all Klaus said, and mostly everyone else nodded.

She forced a smile as she bobbed a little to the loud music, trying hard not to bump into anybody else again.

Suddenly, she was grabbed and twirled around to face a very attractive guy with green eyes and a bright smile. "You looked too lonely for my liking." He leaned forward, and his hands began gripping at her sides before slowly lowering.

She tilted her head slightly before pushing him so hard he stumbled back into a group of people who fell back like a buck of bowling pins. She smirked and gave the man a wink before swiveling around an making her way through the crowd once more.

"Oh fuck me," Lizzie mumbled to herself, but most of the room was filled with vampires, so they all heard her comment and chuckled.

"Hope!"

Hope turned around and smiled once she saw Stiles running towards her. She quickly pushed people out of her way and met up with him. "Did you do it?"

"She pushed people out of her way to get to him!" Caroline squealed, clapping her hands.

Klaus sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose, closing his eyes. He didn't want his daughter falling in love, yet. Not until he gets a chance to actually meet the boy she ends up choosing. Once upon a time, she thought Landon would've been a good choice upon seeing them dance the day he decided to sacrifice himself, but now he sees how wrong he was.

Stiles nodded with a big smile. "Yeah! It just took a little something called faith and hope."

She gave him a deadpan look before rolling her eyes fondly when he just laughed loudly.

"Also, um, Isaac injected Jackson with the ketamine. They're in the room in the back. C'mon." He lead her to a door and as soon as he opened it, two people got ready to fling themselves at him.

Stiles quickly put his hands up in defence, his eyes bulging out of their sockets. "No, no, no, no!" He yelled at Isaac and Erica. "It's just us, just me and Hope. Don't freak."

Hope closed the door behind them, shutting out almost all of the music, and rose a brow at Jackson who was slumped unconscious in a stray plastic chair in the middle of the small room.

"Is he okay?" She went forward to check on him, but Stiles grabbed her wrist, gently pulling her back.

Damon grinned down at Elena, "he's like me with you; trying to keep you from doing some dangerous and idiotic."

"Well... let's find out." Isaac swiped his werewolf claws out, lifting them to slice Jackson's chest when Jackson's hand suddenly flung out, grabbing a hold of Isaac's arm.

"Oh shit!" MG exclaimed, jumping back in his seat. Kaleb laughed at him, patting him on the chest.

Isaac whimpered as Jackson twisted it, a crunching noise filling the room. Hope launched forward, gripped Jackson's arm so hard it snapped too, and her nails dug into his skin, drawing blood.

Rebekah tilted her head at that, "they're so going to be besties, soon."

"He's still unconscious," Hope stated as she roughly let go of Jackson's arm, and stepped away.

"Okay, no one does anything like that again, okay?" Stiles pointed at the three of them.

Isaac continued to fuss over his arm. "Ugh, I thought the ketamine was supposed to put him out." He hissed from the pain, sitting down in a chair in the corner, hunched over.

Hope sighed. "I think all we can do is hope that whoever is controlling him decided to show up tonight."

The auburn haired girl moved to help Isaac when Jackson's eyes suddenly snapped open.

"I'm here," his voice came out robotic, and it was obvious that he was being controlled. "I'm right here with you."

All four teenager's heads whirled around to look at him, their eyes wide.

"Of course you are," Hope muttered, moving towards him.

"Hope!" Stiles called out but she ignored him, crouching in front of Jackson.

"She really doesn't care about her own well-being," Bonnie said with a sigh.

"That's a Kol if I have ever seen one," Hayley commented and snorted when Kol sent her a look. "What? I'm not wrong."

"I care about myself, thank you very much," he retorted with an eye roll and a flick of his fluffy hair. "Also, I can't believe I haven't connected the dots, but he so looks like the meat-suit I used when mother brought me back," he stated, and the other Mikaelson's frowned and faced the screen to study Isaac.

"You're right," Elijah said with a frown.

"Although this one is clearly younger," Rebekah stated, appreciating the body, although she cringed when she remembered that her brother was once in a body that just looked like that.

"I am so not going to ask," Caroline said, pursing her lips.

"You're not Jackson, are you?" She asked, getting the obvious out of the way.

"Us," he replied. "We're all here."

Hope rolled her eyes. "Are you the one killing people?"

"We're the ones killing murderers," he stated, void in his tone. "All the people I've killed so far, deserved it."

"See, now we have a little rule book," Hope stated, meaning the bestiary. 'That says you only go after murderers. And an unborn baby died because of you. Innocent life."

"Any rule can break if enough pressure is applied," he informed her, a creepy smirk appearing on his lips.

"So, the people you're killing are all murderers huh?" Stiles asked from behind Hope, and he laid a hand on her shoulder.

"All. Each. Every. One."

"Well then who did they murder?"

His response was what shocked them. "Me. They murdered me."

Hope squinted at him, brows furrowed. His head snapped up and his eyes seemed to change from Jackson's green eyes to fiery orange reptilian eyes. The skin on his hands began turning greenish with scaly spots and his clear claws grew and they could see the venomous paralytic goo dripping from him.

"Disgusting!" The girls all exclaimed in disgust, even Damon was scrunching his nose up.

"Come on." Stiles pulled Hope up to her feet and away from Jackson. "Okay. Ketamine. The man needs more ketamine, come on."

"We don't have any more," Isaac told him, holding the empty bottle.

Hops looked at him wide eyed. "Are you freaking kidding me Lahey? You used all of it?"

"Guys." They all turned to Erica who had wide, fearful eyes. They followed where she was pointing.

Jackson was almost in full kanima. And he was standing up.

He bared his teeth, which had sprouted a couple dozen more. And his head whipped around rapidly.

"Okay, out!" Everybody out!" Stiles shouted, and they all rushed towards the door.

Once the four of them made it, they pushed the door closed, pressing up against it. This wouldn't keep him in for long, but it was worth a shot.

Hope stepped back and held out her hands, opening her mouth to begin a spell to contain him in the room. But, she didn't get the chance seeing as Jackson busted through the wall before charging forward.

"Exsurgo!" Hope shouted and the Kanima was flung up onto the ceiling where many wooden planks could be seen. And then he just disappeared into the dark.

"That might've not worked, but it was so cool to see," Caroline said, blue eyes wide as can be. Bonnie slowly nodded in agreement.

They quickly ran outside, but Hope was stopped by the barrier. She watched as Stiles ran to his Jeep before he seemed to realize she wasn't behind him anymore.

Just then, Derek ran from behind her. Soon after, was followed by Erica and Isaac.

That's when it hit Stiles what was happening. "Oh my God! It's working! Oh this is...yes!" Stiles let out excitedly. Looking at Derek in glee, he said, "I did something."

"That's adorable," Rebekah said with a small smile. "He must not be use to being praised when doing something like this."

Lizzie swallowed, knowing she related to Stiles in that way; when she finally gets back on steady ground after a back mental break, no one praised her, no one says anything, they just go on with their lives like she just didn't push through something terrifying.

Hope froze all of a sudden as a howl ripped through the air, piercing her in the heart. Immediately, she knew that Scott was in trouble. "Break it, Stiles!" She shouted at the human as she realized that her magic didn't seem to be working on the ash.

"No! Not Scott!" Elena exclaimed, mouth agape, eyes wide.

Stiles looked at her like he was crazy. "What? No!"

Panic struck through Hope as if she was reliving her parents death. "Scott is dying! Break it!"

Stiles seemed to trust her words almost immediately, and he waved his hands over the ash. It separated and a tiny gap appeared. That was all Hope and Derek needed before they raced off into the night.

Coming up to a shed of sorts, Hope and Derek bust through the door. And almost instantly, the wolfsbane in the air hit them dead on, and they coughed, trying to not breath in much.

Victoria moved out of the corner she was hiding in and stabbed a blade in Derek's back, he grunted and spun around, smacking the blade out of Victoria's hand.

"Oh fuck!" Kaleb exclaimed, covering his mouth in shock.

Hope hadn't seen it coming or else she would've deflected it for him. She sent a high kick to the red head who raised her arm up, and pushed the foot away from her.

Hope stumbled backwards, but gained her footing real quick, and sent a punch to the woman which had her tumbling into Derek's arms.

"Yes! Show that bitch!" Hayley shouted, pumping her fist in the air, proud of her daughter.

"Kill her!" Klaus chanted.

The older werewolf shoved Victoria into the wall, and they threw a few punches. Hope saw that he could handle it and crouched down to Scott.

"Are you okay, Scott?" She asked softly and began wheezing a little seeing as she had inhaled too much of the wolfsbane. "Come on." She grabbed his sides and began to slowly lift him up to his feet just as Victoria ran away.

"Let me help." Derek came over and they worked together to drag Scott out of the shed, away from the wolfsbane.

"This trio would be so good if Derek wasn't a major asshat half of the time," Caroline commented. Other agreed.

Damon tilted his head, "I like him."

Elena chuckled and fondly rolled her eyes at him, "that's because he's basically you, just a werewolf instead."

Damon frowned, "I forgot he was a stupid Were for a second, I take back what I said."

Elena giggled and laid her head on his shoulder, feeling his smile against her head.

NOTHING HAD GONE to plan. They had lost Jackson and he had managed to kill someone, and of course the person controlling him had gotten away. Stiles had been seen by his father, who had sent him home, and Allison's mother almost killed Scott who was currently laying on a table.

Hope bit her lip and tapped her foot. "Thank you for helping and saving Scott." This was the first time she has properly thanked anyone for anything, and she couldn't believe it was Derek.

"Same," Bonnie said with crossed arms.

Scott sat up quickly, groaning and grimacing. He looked over at them with furrowed brows. "Guys? What's going on?"

"We were just waiting for you to wake up," Hope explained as Deaton walked into the room, checking on Scott to see it he was alright or not.

"We need a new plan." Derek stated bluntly. "Because next time, one of us is going to be too hurt to heal."

"I get it," Scott groaned, "We can't save Jackson."

Hope's eyes widened and she looked away. Honestly, she didn't care enough about Jackson to care if he lived or died. But maybe that was the evil inside her speaking.

"We can't seem to kill him either," she stated with a heavy sigh. "I've seen a lot of things, trust me on that, but I've never seen anything like this. Every new moon is just gonna make him stronger."

"But how do we stop him?" Scott asked, grimacing as he shifted in his spot.

"I don't know." Derek frowned. "I don't even know if we can stop him."

"We will." Hope nodded, determined. "I have defeated a lot of different kinds of monsters in the past year, so I say we keep looking to find a solution. We need to try and save him, but also everyone else from him." Was this how everyone felt when she came out as a Mikaelson? Like they needed protected from her? Like she was an uncontrollable monster?

Lizzie frowned. "It probably didn't help that I spread rumors around about her." All because she thought Hope spread that nasty Witch Bipolar rumor about her. Once again, Lizzie wanted to despise her own twin sister for what she had put her and Hope through.

"She's not a monster," Klaus growled out.

Caroline frowned as she heard Lizzie's confession, but also saw the saddened but angered expression on her pretty face. And then she noticed Josie's guilty look as well.

Scott studied Derek and jumped off of the table, crossing his arms. "What aren't you telling us?"

Derek looked at Scott with narrowed eyes. "Why do you think I'm always keeping something from you?"

"Because you are keeping stuff from us," Scott replies simply.

Derek clenched his jaw and released a breath of frustration. "Well maybe I do it to protect you guys."

"Doesn't being a part of your pack mean no more secrets?" Scott asked with narrowed eyes and Hope stared up at the man with furrowed brows.

Derek only blinked, crossing his arms over his chest. "Go home, Scott. Sleep. Heal. Make sure everyone else is safe cause the full moons coming and with the way things are going, I've got a feeling it's gonna be a rough one."

Hope huffed at the man. "God. I want to punch you so hard right now."

"I vote she does!" Bonnie said, and others nodded in agreement.

Scott chuckled at her before turning serious. "We need to hurry and get home before my mom literally tries to kill us."

She nodded quickly. "Yeah. I really don't want to see her wrath again."

And with that, they quickly ran out of the building.
