Nobody's Pov

Everyone didn't hesitate to settle down.

They wanted nothing more than to immediately get into the episode.

They wanted to see what was going to happen and what Hayley, Kurt, Elijah and Marcel were going to do to find Klaus and Rebekah.

Gertrude didn't hesitate to play the next episode after seeing how ready everyone was.

The screen turns on and the camera pans to the compound.

We head into the courtyard and we see Elijah walking in to see Marcel sending out more troops to search the city.

"Anything?" Elijah asked.

"They're putting eyes and ears out everywhere. Daywalkers are working every contact we've got. Cops, dock workers, guys in the Treme. Word is out, anyone trying to earn favor with me gets a lifetime of it if they find them" Marcel said.

"That's good" Coach Beiste nodded.

"Lets just hope someone finds something" Ms. Pillsbury frowned.

Elijah nods and starts walking in the direction of the study.

"Good. I need a pen and paper" Elijah said.

As he walks away Marcel pauses for a moment and rolls his eyes before following after Elijah.

"Hey, am I taking orders from you now, or are we in this together?" Marcel asked.

Elijah begins removing his jacket as he turns around to look at Marcel.

"Pen and paper, Marcellus. Now" Elijah demanded.

"I want her back just as much as you do, you know. The both of them" Marcel reminded him.

Everyone could tell that despite Marcel's issues with Klaus he does care for him.

And he wants not only Rebekah back but Klaus back as well.

"Well, he has to understand that those are his siblings that were taken and it's clear how worried he is about them" Sue commented.

"Agreed, Elijah won't rest or even calm down until he finds out where Klaus and Rebekah are being held" Mr. Schue nodded.

Marcel walks out of the study to get what Elijah needs.

Elijah sets his jacket down and starts unbuttoning his shirt.

"Hayley! Kurt!" Elijah yelled.

Footsteps are heard and the camera pans over to Hayley and Kurt as they walk into the study.

"Elijah! You're back" Hayley sighed, relieved.

"Oh please tell me you found something" Kurt added.

He was worried for his mate and Bekah and hoped that they weren't suffering badly.

If they were he would find those witches and he would give them hell.

The girls and Sue smiled at that and tried to stop the squeals from escaping their lips.

They knew just how much Kurt cared for Klaus, and it wasn't just because they were mates, and was worried for him.

Hopefully, when all this mess is over Kurt can explain everything that he told Hayley to Klaus.

So that the hybrid can understand why he's been acting the way that he is.

The two of them stop when they realize that Elijah is both shirtless and covered in tattooed names.

Kurt raises an eyebrow, confused, while Hayley gapes awkwardly and has a small blush on her cheeks.

Everyone's eyes widened at seeing Elijah.

Some looked away while others, mainly girls and some boys were, were ogling Elijah's muscles and how hot he looked.

"Damn" Quinn whistled.

"He's got one fine looking body" Tina complimented.

"I'll say" Rachel muttered.

Finn shot her a pointed look but she just ignored him.

The guys were jealous at the attention Elijah was receiving and made a mental note to start working out more.

"What is happening?" Hayley asked, confused.

"I need you and Kurt to make a list of these names" Elijah told her.

Hayley and Kurt glance at each other before looking back at Elijah.

"Ok, we will" Kurt nodded.

Hayley nodded and the two of them walked over to Elijah while Marcel continued looking for a pen and paper.

Once they were close they begin examining the names tattooed across Elijah's shoulders, arms, back, and abdomen.

A name catches their attention and they furrow their eyebrows together.

"Sabine?" Kurt asked.

Everyone raised an eyebrow at the name.

"Wait, that's the name of the woman that Elijah's old lover is possessing right?" Trent asked.

"Yes, it is" Thad nodded.

Everyone wondered why Sabine's name would be written on Elijah's body.

"Elijah, what is this?" Hayley asked.

"I believe they represent the names of the women Celeste inhabited for the past two centuries" Elijah told her.

Marcel joins them and hands the pen and paper to Kurt that he easily takes.

"It's called a Devinette. It's old school. Kind of a riddle. Witches use them to teach their kids. Solve it, and it disappears" Marcel explained.

"Why? What's the point?" Kurt asked, confused.

"Celeste forced me to make a choice between you and Hayley and my siblings, and now she means to mock that choice, taunting me with a childish game. The longer the game, the more they suffer. To find Klaus and Rebekah, we need to solve this riddle. The solution lies somewhere in these names" Elijah explained.

"The name next to Sabine, Annie La Fleur. She's the witch that was shunned from her coven just over a year ago. Never knew why, but I can find out" Marcel said.

Everyone was a little annoyed that apparently the others had to solve a riddle just to find Klaus and Rebekah.

They just wanted the others to find out where Klaus and Rebekah are being held and wants them to be saved.

But, if that's what they have to do then so be it.

However, at hearing the information about that witch girl they had to admit they felt bad for her.

The scene changes to later in the day and we're still at the compound.

Elijah and Marcel have gone searching for Annie, the witch, while Hayley and Kurt stayed at the compound.

The best friend duo were in the courtyard with Hayley on the phone with Elijah and she has him on speaker so Kurt can hear.

He's currently telling them everything he and Marcel learned about Annie.

"She killed herself?" Hayley asked, shocked.

"Yes, drowned herself in the Mississippi, to be precise. Celeste was clearly tired of the body and ready to take Sabine's" Elijah told her.

"How do you know that?" Kurt asked, confused.

"Because she leaped to her death from the very location Celeste and I had our first kiss" Elijah said.

"How romantic" Sue commented with a roll of her eyes.

"Poetic, I guess...in a creepy-vendetta sort of way" Hayley said.

"All these names, these lives, stolen that Celeste might take her revenge. I suppose we have no choice but to see where they take us. Hayley, Kurt, I have to go. I'll call later" Elijah said.

"Elijah, wait" Hayley quickly stopped him.

"What is it?" Elijah asked, curious.

"Ask Marcel if he knows anything about a name on that list. Brynne Deveraux. Sophie said that it was her family's bloodline that put the curse on the Crescent wolves, but Celeste said that she was the only one that could break it" Hayley explained.

"And if Brynne Deveraux was actually Celeste when she cast the spell, then maybe Celeste can still break it" Kurt added.

"So there is hope for those wolves then" Brittany smiled.

"But will Celeste, or Sabine, whatever the hell she goes by, help break the curse?" Santana asked, curious.

After all, she is an enemy of the Mikaelson's and hates them with a burning passion.

And since Hayley, along with Kurt, is connected with the Mikaelson family they doubt she will help her.

"I'll see what he knows" Elijah said.

"Elijah, Kurt and I are really sorry that you're going through this" Hayley sighed.

"Yeah. If we had known that Celeste made you choose who to help-" Kurt started but was cut off.

"You two were going to die in that fire, along with my brother's child. There was no choice" Elijah told them.

With that he hangs up causing the best friend duo to look at each other and sigh.

Everyone frowned, unable to stop the sadness from coursing through their bodies.

They know that Elijah doesn't regret saving Hayley and Kurt, along with Jackson, because they were close to dying if he hadn't gotten there in time to save them.

But they also know that Elijah feels guilty and angry that he wasn't able to save his siblings.

They know that he blames himself for being the reason they were taken in the first place.

And he doesn't know what they could be going through at the moment.

They just hope he, Hayley, Kurt and Marcel are able to find something that can help them.

It's clear that Elijah is getting restless, not that they blame him.

The scene changes and the camera pans inside the study.

Hayley is sitting at a desk typing on a laptop while Kurt is standing behind her as she types.

Elijah walks into the room and they both look at him.

"Hey, look, I found-" Hayley started but Elijah stopped her.

"You were right about the Deveraux witch" Elijah whispered.

Hayley and Kurt are shocked but before they can continue Marcel enters the room.

"Find anything about Clara? The mystery witch?" Marcel asked.

"Not much. She was a nurse at the Fleur-de-Lis Sanitarium" Hayley said.

Marcel, Elijah and Kurt move closer as Hayley clicks on a picture of nurses.

"Recognize her? Top row, second from the right" Hayley said.

When Hayley points to the picture of Clara we see Marcel freeze and visibly panic.

Santana and Sue narrowed their eyes at Marcel before glancing at each other.

They already knew that Marcel knew who Clara was just based on how he reacted to her picture.

And they were curious as to what happened for him to look scared.

"No, I don't" Elijah shook his head.

"What about you, Marcel?" Kurt asked, turning to the vampire.

The three of them look at Marcel and see him slowly walking away from the desk with his arms crossed. And they can tell how alarmed and worried he looks.

"Marcel?" Elijah asked, raising an eyebrow at him.

Marcel remains silent and refuses to make eye contact with Elijah.

Elijah moves away from Hayley and Kurt and makes his way to Marcel.

"Do I need to remind you that Niklaus and Rebekah are somewhere suffering horribly? If you know something, talk" Elijah demanded.

Marcel finally makes eye contact with Elijah and lets out a sigh.

"The Sanitarium. That's where you'll find them" Marcel said.

"Are you sure?" Hayley asked.

"How do you know?" Kurt asked, raising an eyebrow at him.

"I just know" Marcel said.

"How do you know?" Elijah asked.

Marcel hesitated but the look Elijah was giving him meant that he wanted an answer and he wanted it now.

"Ok, off topic, but I'd definitely faint at that look on his face" Quinn commented.

"Same. It's weirdly hot" Tina nodded.

The rest of the girls nodded in agreement while everyone else either gave them weird looks or laughed in amusement.

"If I'm right, you need to know exactly what we're walking into. We did something, Rebekah and I. I think the witches are trying to use it against her. It was, uh, something that you're not gonna like" Marcel said.

Elijah crossed his arms over his chest and waited impatiently for Marcel to continue.

"Rebekah and I contacted Mikael. We were the ones that brought him to New Orleans" Marcel revealed.

Elijah's eyes widened at that, slowly uncrossing his arms from his chest, with Hayley and Kurt having the same reaction.

Confusion was plastered on everyone's face and they all looked at Gertrude.

"Do you guys really not remember?" Gertrude asked, shocked and annoyed.

Everyone shook their heads causing Gertrude to groan while running a hand through her hair.

"If you guys would remember from the first episode you would know that Mikael is their father. He's the vampire that hunts vampires. He has been hunting his children for centuries. He's wanted nothing more than to kill them, especially Klaus. The Mikaelson siblings were always hiding from him and during the time in New Orleans they thought they were safe until Mikael found them, thanks to Rebekah and Marcel, and ran them out of town" Gertrude explained.

Everyone's eyes widened at the information give to them by Gertrude.

Slowly, it was all starting to come back to them. 

They remembered what Elijah told Hayley and Kurt in the first episode.

They couldn't believe that Rebekah and Marcel would do something like that.

And they were honestly worried about how Klaus would react when he learns the truth.

They were already dreading to see what would happen now that Elijah knows.

Elijah steps closer to Marcel which makes him step back.

"For the better part of a century, I have wondered how father found us, what foolish mistake that we had made to destroy our time in the one place that we could finally call home. Did you know, I even blamed myself for a time, Marcellus?" Elijah asked.

Marcel says nothing and just stares at him

Elijah glares at him and grabs him by the neck and speeds them to a nearby wall.

Everyone jumped at the unexpected action from the noble original.

"Elijah!" Hayley and Kurt yell in unison.

Elijah ignored them as he grips Marcel's neck, causing the vampire to gasp for air, and lifts him up slightly from the ground.

"Niklaus treated you like a son. Rebekah!" Elijah yelled.

"I loved her. I still love her. All we ever wanted was to be together, but as long as Klaus was around, that was never gonna happen. But hey, I guess you wouldn't know anything about that, huh?" Marcel sarcastically asked.

"I don't think it's smart to talk that way to someone that could easily kill you" Thad deadpanned.

Marcel really shouldn't be taking that tone with Elijah when he's the one being choked.

He should be lucky that Elijah didn't kill him after revealing what he and Rebekah had done.

Elijah says nothing and just continues glaring at Marcel.

He releases Marcel causing the vampire to gasp for air as his feet land on the ground.

"When Niklaus learns the truth, there will be no end to his rage. I will not let my sister suffer that wrath" Elijah sternly said.

"Then we need to get to them before he learns the truth" Marcel said.

"Something tells me they might be a little late" Trent muttered.

Sebastian, who heard him, hummed quietly while nodding his head.

They had this feeling that maybe those witches want to pit the Mikaelson siblings against each other.

And what better way to do it then reveal Rebekah's betrayal to Klaus.

The scene changes to the Sanitarium and we see that it's already late at night.

The camera pans to a car driving up to the Sanitarium and parking in front of it. The doors open and we see Elijah, Marcel and Kurt getting out.

"We should divide the building. Kurt and I will start at one end, you at the other" Elijah told Marcel.

Marcel nodded and watched as the original vampire and the human boy run up the stairs and make their way inside the sanitarium.

The camera pans inside where we see Elijah and Kurt rushing inside and checking every single place but there was no sign of Rebekah or Klaus.

As Elijah was looking into another one of the rooms Kurt makes his way over to him.

"Elijah, do you really think Nik is going to kill Rebekah for what she did?" Kurt asked.

Elijah sighed as he looked at his brothers mate.

"I don't believe he would kill her but I do believe he will make her suffer in the worst way possible" Elijah said.

Kurt frowned at that, worry shown in his eyes.

Everyone frowned at that and glanced at each other worriedly.

They understand that what Rebekah did was terrible especially when she did it to her own brother.

But at the same time they don't want her to suffer let alone at the hands of Klaus.

They just hope that if Klaus has found out, which they are sure he has, Elijah and Kurt can stop him.

Kurt opened his mouth to say something when Elijah stops him by holding a hand up.

"What?" Kurt asked, furrowing his eyebrows together.

Elijah doesn't say anything and remains silent. His eyes widen in realization and concern.

Kurt yelps in surprise when Elijah grabs his arm and vamp speeds them down to an abandoned basement.

Just as they arrive and stop at the stairs they see Klaus kneeling in front of Rebekah, who was lying on the ground in pain, with a blade in his hand.

"You know, if you had offered me even a fraction of the same, I wouldn't have to do this" Klaus said.

Kurt's eyes widen when he sees his mate lift the blade in the air, ready to stab Rebekah in the heart with it.

Everyone's eyes widened at what was happening and felt their bodies tensing up.

"Holy shit, is he actually gonna do it?" Puck asked.

"I don't know" Finn muttered, bouncing his knee up and down.

Was Klaus really going to stab his own sister, potentially kill her, with that blade?

"Nik, stop!" Kurt yelled.

He runs down the stairs and rushes to his mate so he can snatch the blade out of his hand.

When all of a sudden Elijah vamp speeds towards Klaus and stabs the blade into his heart.

Klaus screams in shock and pain. Kurt gasps at what he was seeing while Rebekah's eyes widened in shock at the change of events.

Gasps filled the theater as everyone's eyes widened in shock at the change of events.

While they were happy that Klaus didn't stab his own sister with the blade they couldn't believe Elijah stabbed Klaus instead.

"Well damn" Nick muttered.

"You said it" Jeff nodded.

Klaus turns his head to look at his brother and slight tears gather in his eyes as he stares at his brother with various emotions.

Elijah says nothing and turns to Marcel, who was lying on the ground in a nearby corner of the room.

"Go" Elijah ordered.

Marcel nodded and quickly got up from the ground. He rushes over to Rebekah and helps her off the ground and the two of them begin to run.

"Both of you run as far and as fast as you can. Run!" Elijah yelled.

"If they value their lives, they better run and never look back" Sue commented.

They better get on the road and drive away, somewhere far away where Klaus won't be able to get them.

Because she knows that once he finds them, once he gets his hand on them, they are dead.

As Marcel and Rebekah leave the room Kurt rushes over to his mate and kneels down next to him. He glares at Elijah for what he did.

"Kurt-" Elijah started but was cut off.

"Shut up, you didn't have to stab him. Next time just snap his neck" Kurt scowled.

Kurt ripped his mate out of Elijah's arms and cradled him in his own arms, gently bringing his head down to rest on his shoulder.

Kurt brought a hand up to Klaus's cheek and gently caressed it.

"I've got you, Nik. I've got you" Kurt whispered.

Elijah glanced between his brother and Kurt and just let out a small sigh.

As the screen turned black, indicating that the episode was over, a few let out sighs while a few others leaned back in their seats.

Todays episode was hectic, that's for sure.

And they were honestly a little worried how the next episode would be.

Because Klaus might be weak at the moment thanks to Elijah stabbing that blade into him.

But something tells them that once he recovers he's going to go after Rebekah and Marcel.

And he sure as hell won't stop until he finds them and ends them himself.
