The streets of the CN City were in shambles following the fight with Kaltan. The fight between the combined forces of the watchers of the multiverse and their allies had definitely taken it's toll on the city as it was in ruins and looking like it would need many time consuming repairs. Everyone who participated in the fight against Kaltan was slowly collecting themselves from the tough fight and everyone who didn't participate in the fight and instead stayed in the safe zone created by the watchers and their allies.

The group consisting of  D, X, Samurai Jack, Medic, Heavy, Spy and Akame stood together amongst the ruins of the destroyed city, all of them trying to collect themselves from the last rough hours. Despite all of them being exhausted from all the fighting they put themselves through in, all of them were were Kaltan was dead and it was over as they could put this incident behind them. For all they knew, no one was seriously hurt or died so it was a relief to all of them as well.

All of them shifted their attention to the zone in the middle of all of them a second later as a portal formed there out of nowhere. All of them kept their eyes on it as K walked out of it. Homever her expression was not the one of relief and happiness of them winning over Kaltan like they expected. Her expression was grim, looking like they hadn't just saved the multiverse from Kaltan and she looked to be extremely worried about something.

X's smile faded away from her face upon seeing the look on K's friend, "K...?"

"What's wrong?" Akame asked her friend with a concerned look on her face. Just as K was about to answer to what happened, she was cut off by a heavily distressed Q rushing past K. It got more raised brows and concerned looks from everyone, especially from Heavy, Medic and Spy, as she made her her way to Medic and Heavy.

Q stopped in front of Heavy and Medic a second later and set her eyes on Medic, acting as if Heavy was not there, "Fritz! You need to go through the portal! Now!"

"Q? What zhis the matt..." Medic was cut off mid-sentence by Q.

"It's B!" Q sounded like on the verge when she revealed what was the matter to him as Medic raised his brow at her. She felt the eyes on everyone around her on her, feeling themselves growing more uneasy as Q broke fully into tears when she explained further, "H-He got really messed up by Kaltan when we were fighting him! He might be dying! He needs medical attention! N is looking after him right but she's unsure whether he will survive or not without help...!"

K nodded in confirmation with an unnerved look on her face, "She asked us to collect the best doctors for this. W should be collecting Devola and Popola from the safe zone now."

D's eyes widened upon hearing what Q had to say, "W-What?"

"Oh my gosh..." X gasped in shock with a horrified look on her face, placing her hand over her mouth as D clenched his hand, feeling it slowly beginning to shake while his eye twitched a bit. 

"What. K..." Akame's words died in her throat when she set her eyes on K. From the look on her friends face, she could tell all of it was true. K seemed to be equally as distressed by all of this as much as Q was. She slowly pushed herself into walk towards her, wanting to comfort her Heavy, Medic, Spy and even Samurai Jack stayed silent after hearing Q's words. 

B was hurt? How?  The watchers were multiversial deities! 

They weren't supposed to get hurt...

Medic set his eyes back on Q once he was done processing this information as Q started crying in front of him, having broken herself into full sobs. He tried to say something to her, "Q..."

"Fritz! I'm going to get on my knees and beg you, but please save him! Please! I don't want him to die!" The female watcher cut him off as she fell on her knees in front of Medic, looking up at him with a pleading expression with tears falling down from her cheeks. Medic looked down at her, looking startled because it was the first time when he saw her in such a state as he looked actually concerned about someone for once.

"I'll do what I can..." He gave his his answer a second later, keeping his concerned look on his face.

"Thank you! Thank you! Please. Keep him alive..." Q smiled at him gratefully, looking like she didn't want know what to do to express her gratitude as Medic gently pulled her away from him and pushed himself into walk towards  the portal. He walked through the portal a second later, joining N on the other side of it as he saw her doing her best to keep B alive long enough for the others to arrive with the healing function of her glove.

Q kept herself on her knees after, sobbing all the water out of her body as she buried her face in her hands. Spy and Heavy noticed the distress their friend was in and quickly walked over to her comfort. The two mercenaries crouched down to be close to her level, doing their best to comfort her as Spy rubbed her back while Heavy rubbed her shoulder, trying to reassure her that everything will be alright.

Akame made her way to K a second later, placing her hand on her shoulder as her normally stoic face showed concern for her watcher friend. K returned her gaze, her distressed expression with each passing second as Akame slowly pulled her into a hug. K slowly hugged her back, letting out a deep unnerved and nearly tearful breath as X and Samurai Jack watched what was just happening with Q and K with saddened looks on their faces. X sighed sadly, feeling the need of comforting both of them and it was exactly what she did as she pushed herself into walk towards K and Akame.

However, her attention was shifted to D before she could reach either of them as she saw him beginning to pace back and forth in a nervous and distressed manner. She looked at him with a concerned look on her face and her concern only grew from there as she saw the expression on his face. His expression was twitching, looking looking he was desperately trying to stop himself from breaking into sobs as his breath was unsteady. 

"D. Dearie. What's wrong...?" She asked him with a concerned look on her face, having stopped in her tracks as Samurai Jack noticed something was off with D as well and shot him a worried expression.

D paid no attention to X's words as he continued to pace around the place. He shook his head to himself, feeling his breathing becoming more unsteady with each passing second as he muttered under his breath, "This is bullshit. Everything is bullshit..."

K pulled away from Akame and looked at him questioningly, having overheard him, "D? What are..."

D stopped in his tracks and looked at him with a tearful look on his face due to him being unable to contain his tears anymore, dropping his Mosin Nagant to the ground, "THIS IS COMPLETE BULLSHIT!"

"D? What are you talking about?" X asked D in concern as everyone flinched from his sudden outburst.

"I'm done with everything!" D screamed in reply to X's question, tears beginning to fall down from his eyes, "At first I was separated from my family forever and now look what happened! All of us had to fight this thing, despite having no experience in this kind of thing!"

"D." X slowly reached out to him, trying to get him to calm down, "Just calm down, dearie..."

D paid no attention to X and shifted his gaze to Q, continuing his rant, "...All of could have died in this fight and B is gravely injured and is currently fighting for his life! Tell me Q. What are the chances of him surviving? Tell me!"

Q flinched, giving D no answer as she looked down at the ground with a teary look on her face, having already cried her eyes out after seeing just in how terrible state B was following their fight with Kaltan. K flinched heavily at his words as well. Spy put his hand on Q's shoulder, trying to be a good friend and trying comfort her in this rough situation for her. The others looked at her in worry as the poor girl was already in enough emotional stress because of what happened to B.

"Friend. I understand this must be tough for you, but I don't think anyone from you and your fellow watchers is to blame for this situation or for the state B is right now. Kaltan and Kaltan only is to blame for this." Samurai Jack pointed out to D, trying to calm him down a little.

D looked at Q with a guilty look on his face, realizing his mistake and lowered his gaze to the ground, "I- Q, I'm sorry for snapping at you like that. I just...I just don't understand. Why me? Why did they choose me out of all the people in Earth to be in this damn place! It's bad enough that I have to be separated from my family forever, but fighting a fucking godly being capable of eating universes? That's the fucking last straw! I wanted to leave this place, dammit! I just want to go back to my old life, with my family and friends!"

X put her hand on his shoulder, looking at him with a pitful look in her face, "D. I wish I could say what you're going through, but I don't. All I can do know is offer you some comfort and tell things are going to get better. The pain you're feeling right now. I'm sure it will pass."

"What if it doesn't?" D retorted, now openly crying, "My family and friends meant everything to me! I want this pain of not seeing my family anymore to pass and yet I can still feel it!" He looked up towards the sky with a pleading look on his face, "I know you can hear me right now! Please! Find someone else to replace and give me back my old life! I'll get on my knees and beg you if I'll have to! I'll even give up the immortality and powers you have given me for this!"

"D, they won't answer." K pointed out to D, looking at him with a sympathetic look on her face, "You heard what they said back there that our first meeting with the higher beings would be the last. We haven't heard from them since. It's futile."

D stared at K silently, knowing the female watcher was friend but a part of him didn't want to accept.  Why wasn't this possible? Why couldn't be switched for someone who actually wanted this job? Why couldn't he get back back. All of it was so unfair. All he's been wanting for the last year was getting back to his family back home and yet, he couldn't have that. Why did this have to happen to him?

As soon as those pictures pilled in his head, he lost all the powers he had in his legs and collapsed on the ground while crying his eyes out. X wasted no time and quickly rushed over to him, trying to comfort him in any way she could right now as she slowly made him sit up on the ground. She hugged him and D hugged her a second later, sobbing like there no tommorow as as he placed his head against her shoulder and sobbed int it.

X shook her head to herself, rubbing the back of his head as she did her best to comfort him right now.  She had no idea why D was dealing with something like this. Why didn't he tell her? Why didn't he tell anyone? She couldn't help but ask herself if this was the reason for his behavior. Was this why he was isolating himself from everyone for most of the time? Could this be the reason for him starting his fight with Devola? 

Either way. She couldn't help but feel like she had failed. She was supposed to be always there for the watchers whenever they needed her, having estabilished her role in their group and yet she couldn't notice all the red flags D was showing for the last year which ultimately led up to the state he was in right now. She was not going to fail now and she was going to be there for D now, no matter what. It was what she promised herself as she kept hugging him, feeling her shoulder becoming wetter with each passing second.

With that having happened, the atmosphere in the area grew grim as everyone did their best to comfort sobbing Q and D and a very distressed K from everything that just happened...

Unaware of what happened to B or what was happening with D right now, the safe zone was rejoiced and relieved with their victory over Kaltan. The watchers and their allies allowed themselves to calm down, having stopped working on everything around them to make sure nothing will get to the safe zone and allowed themselves to catch some breath. The residents of the CN City who took shelter in the safe zone allowed themselves to catch some relieved breath as well, having been made certain their world was saved from Kaltan and his evil plans.

R found herself standing in front of Feerzo and Pacifica who stepped away from their duties after Kaltan was confirmed to have been killed and stopped next to each other almost as if they were robots who were waiting for the next order from their master. She couldn't help herself but be intrigued by the two personas as she found herself wanting to know they worked. Pacifica being cute had nothing to do with it.

The female watcher snapped her fingers in front of the two personas, trying to get a reaction out of them, but neither of them reacted to it in any way and kept staring at her with Pacifica's expression remaining blank and even though Feerzo wore a helmet, R was certain his helmet was blank underneath it as well. The female watcher raised her brow, keeping up with her attempts at trying to get any reactions out of the two personas.

C raised her brow at R's actions as she approached her from behind, "What are you doing?"

"Just checking if they'll react to this." R explained, snapping her fingers again and once again not getting any reaction from them. After realizing this won't work, she tried something else by waving her hands in front of them only for it not to work as well.

C rolled her eyes, "You know the only people they'll probably reply to is D, right?"

"It's still worth a try! I'm his best friend, after all! I want to have some experience in interacting with those as well before I'll see that Gardevoir again!" R replied, getting an eyeroll from C at the mention fo Feera as she turned away from Feerzo and Pacifica and pointed towards Relo and Jackie who continued to hang out around Sniper even after the battle had ended, "Not to mention, these two seem to like that guy."

"His name is Sniper." C reminded her as she turned around to look at Sniper, Jackie and Relo.

"How should I know? You know I prefer Overwatch!" R pointed out to her as both of them continued to watch Sniper, Jackie and Relo and saw the former saying something to the latter two.

"You mates did good today. That was some really good shooting back there. We made a really good team, huh?" They overheard Sniper saying to Relo and Jackie. Despite being a bit salty over them getting more kills than him, he had to admit both of them were skilled marksmen and it was something he respected a lot. Jackie and Relo glanced at him with Relo giving him a nod of acknowledgement, showing him he appreciated the gesture in some way as Sniper smiled at him and placed his hand on his shoulder, "You still need to work on a better name for yourself, mate. Do you have any idea what it could be? Whatever it is, I'm sure it would be better than calling you R3700 the next time we'll met."

R pointed at them again, "See! They replied to him in some way! D doesn't know him! Why is that case with him and not me?"

"Maybe because they were around him for the entire battle?" C rolled her eyes as Engineer looked towards Sniper from where he was with his engineering team and smiled upon seeing a member from his team finding new friends, "If you want to get any reaction out of them or this girl at least, then maybe you could try asking Devola and Popola with help with it."

"Great idea. Ma..." R's was cut off before she could finish what she was saying as someone called out for her.

"Excuse me." She and C turned to the source of the voice and saw the Scooby gang standing in front of them with Fred helping Daphne stay down her feet. Despite Daphne receiving help from Popola and Pacifica, she still needed some help with moving around.

C looked at them questioningly, "What is it?"

"Do you have any contact with B and Q?" Fred asked as C kept her expression questioning, "We overheard you talking about them and three others, I can't remember their names, going against Kaltan after you received some kind of info from someone named Esdeath, I think."

"If they directly fought against Kaltan, we want to thank them for saving our city." Velma added. Despite there being three more watchers who fought with Kaltan, she and her friends felt like they had to thank B and Q directly for this due to them having a short history with them from earlier that day.

"We'd like to get to know them a bit better as well." Daphne explained the other reason for them wanting to speak the two watchers in question.

"Like yeah! They were fun to be around at the festival too. Even if they didn't really want to have fun due to their investigation thing." Shaggy added as Scooby nodded in agreement.

C's expression softened as she smiled at them, "Alright. Don't worry. I'm sure you'll talk with them in a moment. They're probably collecting themselves from their fight with Kaltan."

"Neato." Dephne smiled at it. Her friends did the same.

C nodded at them as she shifted her gaze to R and saw the look on her face. She raised her brow questioningly, "What is it?"

R smiled at her as she provided her an explanation, "Nothing. I'm just thinking how the others will react to B, Q, W, N and K now as they are the ones who defeated Kaltan. I'm certain Leone will be more than pleased to see K. Maybe she'll give her the kiss that she wants for so long now."

C deadpanned at her, "You know K won't agree for this. She'll just give her another black eye."

"If you say so." R replied. Her smile grew more evil and playful a second later, "I can't wait to see Q again. I can't wait to tell her I messed with her by telling her I used Tracer's line earlier." She chuckled evilly, "Can you imagine her annoyed expression?"

C pinched the bridge of her nose, "You two really need to get over this stuff. You are in your 20's and are arguing about it like kids!"

R shrugged her shoulders, "Not my problem. She started it by having that stupid TF2 Power Point presentation in front of us and getting angry when I pointed out how Overwatch is a better game and more imprtantly is still receiving updates."

"You make it sound like you started it more!" C pointed out with an annoyed look on her face as the Scooby gang watched the exchange of words between them, growing more confused the further they went into their conversation.

"Like, what are they doing about?" Shaggy whispered to his friends with a confused look on his face.

 "I don't know." Velma shook her head. Just as the conversation between R and C was about to continue, a portal opened up in the middle of the safe zone and everyone shifted their attention to it. W stepped out of it a second later and looked around himself with an alarmed look on his face. Something everyone instantly noticed.

Shaggy raised his brow, "Like, what's wrong with him?"

"I don't know. He doesn't look like someone who just defeated a multiversial monster to me." R replied with a confused look on her face as W noticed Devola and Popola staring at him from the crowd and quickly moved towards them.

"W. What's wrong..." C tried to ask him but her questions fell on deaf ears.

W ignored them as he walked past them and made his way to Devola and Popola, "You two. You need to go through the portal now."

Devola raised her brow, "Why?"

"What's the matter?" Popola wanted to know as Engineer split up from his engineering team and moved closer to the scene as he was confused by W's behavior as well. Sniper did the same as he excused himself from Relo and Jackie even if he was the only one keeping up the conversation with them and made his way to W as well.

W wasted no time and quickly gave them an explanation, "It's B. He'll die if you won't help him..." 

The male watcher explained everything to them, giving a shortened version of the events as Devola and Popola's eyes widened the further he went into his explanation and they found out what happened to the male watcher during their fight with Kaltan. They weren't the only ones. Everyone else who was around them and was familiar with the watchers in some way felt their eyes widening upon hearing W's explanation and finding out what happened to B by the hands of Kaltan as the area around them was covered in a complete silence.

"What...?" R asked with a shocked look on her face, feeling all the playfulness and her wanting to mess with Q the next time leaving her body in an instant.

C gasped in shock and in worry, "B..."

"Darn..." Engineer uttered with a stunned look on his face, feeling shocked by the news due to him being convinced the watchers were unable to be hurt to such extend. He wasn't the only one feeling like this. Sniper shared his feelings on the matter. 

"Oh my gosh..." Daphne gasped, not knowing what else to say at this news as the rest of Scooby gang stared silently at W with shocked expressions on their faces, processing the information of the state the watcher they had befriended was in right now.

"...This is why you nee to go there. Now. Q and K should be collecting the Medic guy from RED now." W finished explanation to Devola and Popola, looking to be out of breath from uttering everything so quickly as he knew each second counted in this situation.

"A-Alright." Popola stuttered out in shock as she wasted no time and quickly pushed herself into run towards the portal behind behind by W. Devola grabbed two bags of the medical equipment, wanting to take as much as she could due to her not knowing what she and the others will have to use during B's treatment and quickly followed her sister through the portal. The portal closed a second later.

W sighed upon seeing them leave the portal, feeling worried how things will turn out with B even if he'll have the best medical professional treating him as he opened up another portal in front of him, "...Alright. Time to go."

"W. Wait...!" R tried to make him before he could leave just as he was 

"What happened back there?" C wanted to know more details regarding their fight with Kaltan. If W had collected Devola and Popola, then he now had the time to explain more to them than the shortened version of the events, right? Sniper and Engineer looked like they wanted to know more about this as well.

"I'll have explain everything in detail later. Right now, I have to find A2 and Pyro. They're B's friends as well. They need to know what happened to him." W explained, leaving this topic for later as he stepped through the portal before they could ask him more questions.

The male watcher found himself on the other side of the portal a second later, feeling it close behind him and looked around himself in order to locate A2 and Pyro. He didn't have to look for them for long as he noticed them standing in front of him just a second later. They weren't alone. They were accompanied by Demoman, Soldier, the Scotsman, 2B, 9S and their PODs. He nodded to himself, seeing the squad was the same as it was the last time he saw.

He saw what they were doing right now as well. Demoman and the Scotsman were together, having a conversation and sharing some good laughs with each other as Soldier was making some proud declarations of the America saving the multiverse from Kaltan's threat and how America made it possible while 9S and 2B were having their own conversation. He could tell 9S was the only one saying anything during this conversation, though as only his mouth was moving while 2B remained silent.

He set his eyes on A2 and Pyro a second later, seeing them spending time together as Pyro said something to A2 who had her arms crossed, getting an answer out of her. W narrowed his eyes a bit. If he was honest with himself, he could never understand how B, Q and A2 could understand whatever Pyro was saying. If he were to guess, it must have to do with the fact all of them were hanging out with him as much as they did. Neverthless. He knew it didn't matter now.

"Hey!" W called out for them, trying to get their attention for the time he will break the news to them as he felt kind of bad about being the one to ruin their mood due to him being able to tell they were in a good after battle mood. Especially 9S, Demoman, Soldier and the Scotsman. He knew it had to be said to them, though.

A2 stopped whatever she was saying to Pyro and shifted her attention to W's voice, laying her eyes on him. She kept her arms crossed and raised her brow at him, "W?"

"Hey. You're one of the watchers who collected B and Q." 9S said upon laying his eyes on the male watcher.

"You alright there, lad?" Demoman asked with slight concern in his voice.

The Scotsman nodded in agreement, "Aye. You don't seem to be in a winning mood right now."

"It's because I'm not." W gave them an honest answer as he set his eyes on A2 and Pyro, "I'm here to tell this. It's about B."

"What about him?" A2 raised her brow as Pyro nodded in agreement. Soldier and Demoman looked curious about it as well.

W let out an exhale, bracing himself for the reactions and filled them him, "Our fight with Kaltan didn't went the best. He got hurt, like really bad, as Kaltan fried him up with a lightining. N, Medic, Devola and Popola are fighting to save his life now. If they won't be able to do now, then he might, you know..."

His words hit everyone like a truck, leaving them in a stunned silence as all of them needed a moment to process this information. The Scotsman was affected by, even though he shared like one interaction with B due to B being one of the watchers who saved his world. 2B and 9S were affected by it even if neither of them were close to B due to them being in the investigation team with him together and getting to know him better.

However A2, Soldier, Demoman and Pyro seemed to take it the worst out of all of them due to them being friends with B for over a year now. It especially seemed to affect A2 and Pyro. A2's usually cold expression faded away from her face, being replaced by genuine shock and worry and W could tell Pyro had the same expression on his face even if his face was covered by his gas mask.

"...Wait. He can get hurt?" A2 asked with with the softest voice anyone heard her utter once her mind processed this information as Pyro, Demoman, Soldier, the Scotsman, 2B and 9S stared at W silently. She, Pyro, Demoman and Soldier looked to be shaken the most with this information, looking all of them needed a moment to process this.

C pinched the bridge of her nose, letting out a sigh as she found herself thinking about everything which went down after Kaltan was defeated. When she realized Kaltan was defeated when she saw his soldiers collapsing and fading away, she was certain it would be the end and yet, it turned out to be something far from it. B's wounds being treated by N, Medic, Devola and Popola and whatever happened with D's mental breakdown more than showed her and the others they still have to some business left here.

The female watcher pulled her hand away from her nose, shaking her head as she continued to think about it. If you would have told her this is how 2022 will start for her and her fellow watchers, then she would be very skeptical and would ask them if they are alright in the head. However, she knew now she had nothing to be skeptical about as it was reality and they had to live in it. Words can't describe how much she wished she could go back to the New Years party before she and R discovered Kaltan.

She knew there was something else for her and her fellow watchers to take care of in the business they had left in this city. The said something was the conversation with the Eds about their new powers and whatever happened to them. She promised them that she'll have a conversation with them once everything will die down and it was exactly what she was doing. If was honest with herself, she was curious to know more about this herself.

Once she finally found some time to talk with the Eds about it, she got to it straight away. She shad the three boys standing in front of her, making everything look like they were being interrogated in the principal's office and asked them about everything. She wasn't there alone. Jackass was there with her, writing everything down with a notebook as C asked her to help with it. 

She originally wanted R to be with her, but R wanted to go check on D. Something C completely understood. The female watcher listened to everything the Eds said to her in interest, making mental notes of everything while Jackass wrote everything down with with an equally interested look on her face. The android was grinning in excitement the more she learned from them as well, hungrily eating the new knowledge.

Once the Eds were done with their explanations, C asked them if they could present their new powers as she wanted to observed how they worked like in person. The Eds, especially Eddy and Ed, were more than happy to oblige and showed her and Jackass everything they could do.

Eddy's powers were centered around around superspeed and fire manipulation. The super speed was something Eddy was already aware of from what happened back in the city, but he really suprised himself when fire started coming out of his body when he was presenting his super speed to C. Neverthless. His suprise of it quickly died down and turned to excitement when he showed this to her.

Double D's powers were centered around force-field manipulation and telekinesis. There wasn't much C could say about this presentation as it wasn't anything new to her due to him explaining those powers to him. There wasn't much she could say about the presentation as well due to the powers being exactly what you'd expect from them. Neverthless. She knew such powers were something Double D could make a good use of if he practiced them.

Ed's powers were centered around superstrength and regeneration. The part with super strenght didn't suprise her one bit as she knew Ed was already strong from watching his cartoon when she was younger. However, the part with regeneration suprised her and they found out about it accidentally as Eddy tried to play a prank on Ed by litting him up on fire slightly. The fire left a small burnt mark on Ed, but nothing came out of it as his body regenerated to the way it was just a second later.

"...Is that everything?" C asked them once the final part of the presentation was done as she wanted to know if the Eds were done or if they had something else to show to her and Jackass. She exchanged glances with the grinning android a second later.

Double D nodded in confirmation, "I believe so Miss. C."

"Unless we still have something we don't know about." Eddy added as he held out his held and his palm lit up in fire, "Man! This is so awesome! Imagine all the scams we can pull off with this!"

Double D deadpanned at him, "As long as it doesn't include litting other people in fire."

Eddy pointed at him with his arm still covered in fire, "Hey! It worked out well in the end as Lumpy discovered he has this regeneration stuff! Right, Lumpy?"

"Yeah!" Ed nodded in confirmation, not bothered by the fact that Eddy lit him up in fire a second earlier. Double D shook his head, letting out a sigh and shifted his gaze to C and Jackass. C seemed to be thoughtful about something while Jackass kept up with her excited grin.

The hat wearing boy raised his brow at C, "Miss. C? Are you alright?"

"Nothing. I'm just thinking." C pushed herself out of her silent state. She crossed her arms with an interested look on her face, "All three of you have an interesting set of powers now."

Eddy smiled at her smugly, "Yeah. Tell me something I don't know!"

"We're like superheroes now!" Ed added with a happy smile on his face.

"Yeah! Imagine all the cash we'll get from saving other people from it!" Eddy nodded in agreement with his excitement growing, "I'll impress some ladies with it a well!"

"You won't do neither of those things unless you'll train yourself." C told him, doing her best not to roll her eyes at her impressing ladies part as the Eds glanced at her again, "Your powers might be strong, but potential is nothing without a proper training."

Eddy raised her brow at her words, "What?"

"Your powers have potential to be something great, but you need to to practice them." C explained, "

"What are you trying to say Miss?" Double D wanted to know as Ed and Eddy looked curious to know the answer.

"Would you be interested in moving to the watchers HQ with me and the rest of the watchers when we'll be leaving your world?" C voiced what she had in mind to them as the Eds, taking all of them by suprise.

"W-What?" Double D stuttered out with a suprised look on his face as Eddy and even Ed were stunned by the suggestion, "Y-You want us to live with the watchers of the multiverse?"

C nodded in confirmation, "Yes. We could help you train with your powers and help you get a better understanding of them."

"W-Wouldn't it be a problem for you, though?" Double D asked with his shocked stutter still evident, "F-For someone like us to be living with you?"

"No. It wouldn't be." C shook her head, "We already have seven characters living in the watchers HQ with us. Devola, Popola, R's girlfriend 6O, A2, Shay, Skyler and R's other girlfriend Esdeath." Eddy raised his brow in interest at the other girlfriend part, "Adding the three of you wouldn't hurt us in any way."

"I-I see." Double D remained shocked by the offer.

"Living with you, huh?" Eddy looked interested by the idea of it, "Will we get an ability to create those cool portals like you?"

C nodded in confirmation, "Yes. Everyone at the HQ receives this ability upon moving in there."

Eddy grinned, "Alright. I'm in."

"Me too!" Ed nodded in agreement with an excited look on his face, "Will Sarah go with us, though?"

C cringed a bit, "I'm sorry Ed, but I don't think this will be the possibility..."

"B-But, but..." Ed's excitement died down a bit.

Eddy rolled his eyes, "Why are you bothered by so much by it, Lumpy? I would use every opportunity I can to get away from her."

"It doesn't change the fact that she's his family and he would be moving away from her." Double D pointed out to her, "I'm sorry but we can't give you the answer right now. We'll have to discuss this together. Not to mention our families need to be notified of it as well."

"Alright. I understanding. Me and my friends will try to have a conversation about it with your families as well." C with a look of understanding on her face and shifted her attentiont to Jackass, "Have you written everything down?"

'You know it! Man! All of it is cool!" Jackass nodded in confirmation as she gave the female watcher a thumbs up. She glanced down at her notes again, "You kids have no idea how jealous I am of you right now."

C rolled her eyes, "Yeah. I can tell."

Eddy crossed his arms with a smug look on his face, "You surely wish you were in my and my friends place when the nest fell on top of us, huh?"

"You know it! Luckilly for me, I have taken this sample from the nest in the park before I destroyed it and I can perform all sort of experiments on them! By the time I'll be done researching it, I'll have a cool power for myself too!" Jackass replied with a proud excitement in her voice as she pulled out a bottle for them to see. What caught C and the Eds's attention was the fact that her bottle was empty and there wasn't any sample in it like Jackass claimed to be.

Double D cleared his throat and broke the silence between them, "...Miss. But there's nothing there."

Jackass' smile faded away from her face upon hearing his words as she looked up at the bottle, because it was empty. It was when she realized the sample she had taken for herself later was gone, "...Eh?"

"Did you perharps took out the wrong bottle?" Double D suggested to her.

"What? No way! I only had one bottle on me!" Jackass instantly denied this possibility as she opened the bottle and shook it a bit in a desperate attempt of making the matter appear again in some, "Where is it? Appear! Come on!" She glanced at C and the Eds a second later, "What happened to it?!"

C stared at the bottle for a few seconds and quickly came up with a theory, "It must have dissolved into nothing just like the rest of the stuff Kaltan left behind after his defeat."

Jackass seemed to realize it herself after hearing C's theory and reacted in the best way she could. She tossed the empty bottle against the ground in frustation, shattering it into pieces in the process, "Goddammit!"

"Sucks to be her." Eddy muttered under his breath, chuckling in amusement at the sight as Double D elbowed him.  

Double D shifted his gaze to C a second later, "Should do something about her Miss?"

"No. Leave her. She'll calm down in a few minutes." C replied, not bothered by Jackass' behavior as she turned away from her and pushed herself into walk. 

"Are you sure?" Double D asked, wanting to be sure as he and his friends followed C, leaving Jackass behind in the process. C looked over her shoulder at him to give him her answer, not looking where she was doing and didn't saw Johnny Bravo walking in the same direction.

"From the instructions A gave me on dealing with her? Yeah. Just ignore her. What we need to focus on now is..." C was cut off mid-sentence when she bumped into Johnny. She and Johnny collapsed on the ground because of it with their glasses falling off their faces. Johnny wasted no time and instantly started reaching out in hopes of finding his sunglasses, covering his face with his hands.

C waved her hand in front of her in panic before getting herself on her fours and touching the ground in front of her in a desperate search for glasses, "My glasses!"

"Don't worry, Miss. C. Your glasses are not shattered!" Double D tried to calm her down as he saw her glasses laying in between her and Johnny,

"You don't get it! I can't see without my glasses!" C explained, growing more panicked as she continued to look for them as if her life depended on it.

"My glasses! I can't be seen without my glasses!" Johnny added as she continued to look for his sunglasses while keeping his face covered with his other hand.

Just as Double D was about to move forward to help them with their glasses, they managed to to find what they were looking for it as they laid their hands on the glasses. However, they not everything went like they wanted it to as they grabbed the wrong glasses. C grabbed Johnny's sunglasses and Johnny grabbed C's glasses. Not knowing about it, they put the wrong glasses over their noses and instantly felt the effects of it.

"No! I have grown blind! I'll be completely useless now!" C screamed with pure horror in her voice, seeing nothing but darkness. The Eds exchanged glances with each other, having a hard time believing this was the same woman from the safe zone and one of the watchers leading this Anti-Kaltan operation.

Johnny glanced at the Eds with a raised brow, now wearing C's glasses and felt his head starting to hurt due to how strong C's glasses were. He quickly shifted his attention to her, seeing the female watcher on the verge of tears as she continued to talk how useless she was now due to her now being unable to say anything. Not wasting any time, he quickly switched their glasses to make sure the glasses returned to their owner and pointed at her.

"Now listen here. I'm gonna say this once even if you're one of those watchers. Don't touch the glasses." He voiced his threat to her, making himself look almost intimidating before turning away from her and walking off to do whatever he was planning on doing before bumping into C.

C, however, didn't pay attention to his threat and was more focused on her not going completely blind, "Oh, thank God!"

D stayed silent, keeping himself inside the medical tent close to the safe zone as he was sitting on the bunk bed inside of it.  If he was honest with himself, he was a bit suprised by how quickly R and C's safe zone team managed to set everything up in the safe zone with the inclusion of the few medical tents for the more major injures even if he was originally a part of the safe zone team before splitting up from them after creating his personas when he was brought there by X following his breakdown in the city. 

His suprise didn't last long, though when he went further into the safe zone upon arriving with it and saw just how well defended it was with the sentry guns and the androids with machine guns all over the place. Feerzo, Pacifica, Relo and Jackie all moved towards him upon seeing him arrive at the safe zone with X, but he didn't want to deal with them right now and ordered all of them to keep helpng around the safe zone and all of them complied to his order, moving away from him right away. He did his best to not pay attention to X's expression when she saw them as well.

Upon arriving at the medical tent, he was instantly set down on the bunk to calm down a bit with X standing over him with her worried expression refusing to leave her face. It wasn't long before more people arrived at the medical to show their worry for him. The first person to arrive there was Z and she was followed by H and E and suprisingly Engineer and Bubbles. Even if he could understand Engineer due to their brief interaction after he created his personas, he couldn't understand Bubble being here. It probably had to do with her being Bubbles.

Engineer held out a bottle of water out to D, "Here ya go, son. You might be needing it right now."

"Yeah. Thanks..." D nodded at him with his eyes reddened from crying, taking the water from him and taking a few sips to calm himself down a bit as E's phone vibrated. He pulled it out, silently excusing himself to H who nodded at him and walked out of the tent to see whatever information he just got on it.

Z watched him drink the water for a few seconds before asking him in a concerned tone, "So. How are you feeling?"

"Like shit. What else can I say here?" D gave her an honest answer, letting out a sigh as he placed the water aside. With him having broken down the way he did in the city, he saw no reason in keeping everything a secret and decided to be straightforward with his answer. Z, H and X exchanged worried glances with each other after hearing his answer. Engineer and Bubbles seemed worried in their own ways as well.

X slowly stepped closer to him and sat down next to him, "D. For how long were you feeling like this?"

"For the last year. It started when we first became the watchers. I thought it would pass away, just like K tried to tell me but everything just got worse as the time would pass." D once again provided an honest answer, seeing no reason with keeping in how he was feeling like a secret anymore.

Z looked at him questioningly, "Is this why you broke into fight with Devola a few days ago?"

D nodded in confirmation, "Yes. I just felt like my patience with everything was nearing it's end. When all the stuff with Devola went down after the party, I just felt something crack in me. I don't think I need to explain the rest."

X, Z and H stared at him silently as all of them allowed themselves to process everything while Engineer and Bubbles watched everything from where they stood. The three watchers exchanged glances with each other, all of them looking saddened and guilty due to them not doing anything earlier even if D was feeling like this for over a year now. They should have noticed there was something wrong with him...

Looking back at his behavior now, all of them could notice there were so many red flags regarding his behavior. Him keeping himself locked up in either his room or the monitor room for most of the time and them always needing to drag him out to do something with them or the others was just one of the many red flags all of them didn't saw or ignored. The three female watchers looked at D with a mixture of guilt and sadness on their faces, feeling like all of them had failed him by ignoring those red flags.

X instantly voiced her apologies to him, "D. I'm so sorry for not noticing anything earlier or doing anything about it. I should have noticed there was something bothering you. I can't even imagine how alone you must have felt for the last year."

"It's okay." D brushed off her apologies, "It's not like it matters anymore."

X shook her head at him while looking like she was close to crying herself, "No D. It does matter. As your fellow watchers, we should have noticed there was something wrong with you. Heck! I should have noticed there was something off with you! I was supposed to be looking out after the others since I'm the oldest and I failed so badly since I allowed something like this to happen..."

"X-X. I..." D looked slightly suprised by how emotional X's reaction was as he tried to reply to this in some way but found no right words for it. He shifted his gaze away from her and glanced down at the ground with a guilty look on his face. He never saw X tear up like this. It made him feel even worse. About everything and himself.

X continued her rambling by asking him, "Even if we all failed to notice all of this until now, why didn't you tell us about any of this before?"

"You know we would have helped you." H nodded in agreement with her expression remaining the same, "Did you forget how all of helped Y accept himself when he was struggling to come out to us? We wouldn't have treated you differently..."

"I-I just didn't want to bother you with it..." D felt like tearing up again, "I-I saw all of you slowly accepting our situation and..."

"Even if we grew to accept our situation, it doesn't mean we wouldn't help you." H told him.

Z nodded in agreement, "Yeah. You're not the only one who was separated from his family. Everyone aside from L and Y misses their families and being separated from them was hard for us..."

Bubbles looked at H questioningly when Z mentioned L and Y not missing their families and asked her about it "What's wrong with L and Y?"

"Let's just say Y's brother was a real jerk to him and Y went no contact with him and L's family is something we don't talk about." H explained, not wanting to go into detail due to Bubbles being kid and her knowing Y and L wouldn't appreciate it if she explained it without his consent.

Bubbles sighed, "I see."

Z paid no attention to the exchange between Bubbles and H and continued, "All of us know what you're going through right now in regards of your family and we would have helped go through it."

X nodded in agreement with a tearful look on her face, "Exactly. Just let us help you. Please. You don't need to be alone in this..."

D shfited his gaze between everyone in the tent before lowering his head with tears once again streaming down his face and letting out a tearful, "O-Okay..."

"Guys!" E rushed into the tent all of a sudden, gaining everyone's attention straight away.

H looked at him questioningly, "What is it?"

E inhaled deeply to catch his breath and gave them his answer, "I-I just got the info regarding B. They saved him. He is going to live..."

Q ran as fast as her legs could carry her, having her eyes reddened from all the crying as she pushed the door to the main hospital in the CN City open. She rushed past the reception, ignoring the receptionist asking her who she was and who she was looking for her as she went further into the hospital in search the room where B was placed after N, Medic, Devola and Popola were done treating his wounds. 

She wasn't alone, though as she was followed by A2 and Pyro who ignored the receptions as well due to them being focused on following Q and making sure they won't lose the track of her. Upon finding out what happened to B from W, A2 and Pyro made their way to Q to comfort their watcher friend about what happened to B, even though they were pretty worried about him themselves due to him being their close friend as well. A2's cold expression was completely gone by this point as well and it didn't seem like it was going to come back for now.

The group of three continued to move through the hospital, passing by various doctors and the healer androids who were treating everyone who was wounded during the battle in some way. No matter if they were related to the watchers and their allies or if they were related to the residents of this city. Simply everyone was getting treated right now. Them running through the halls like this earned many raised brows and questions from everyone, but all of them ignored it. All they thought about was finding B's room.

All three of them found what they were looking for a few minutes later as they saw N, Medic, Devola and Popola standing in front of one room in the back part of the hospital on the upper floor of it. The part seemed a bit more isolated as well due to it barely having any people there. It would probably change soon, though as more and more people were getting delivered to the hospital with smaller or bigger injures.

"Guys!" Q called out for them, feeling a small smile forming on her face as she knew she had found her best friends room as N, Medic, Devola and Popola all glanced at her.

"Q..." Medic began to say but was cut off as Q literally launched herself at him. She wrapped her arms around him, placing him in a hug and he wasn't the only one. N who happened to be standing next to him found herself wrapped in a hug as well.

"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you..." Q's voice was muffled as she uttered this word over and over again, intending to express her gratitude to them for saving her best friend the best she could. She didn't stop her hug with just Medic and N, though. She pulled away from them a second later and moved to Devola and Popola before hugging them all the while still voicing her gratitude over and over again.

"Hey." A2 called out for them, having just made her way to them with Pyro as N, Medic, Devola and Popola glanced at them while Q pulled away from the two sisters, wiping her eyes.

"How is he?" Pyro wanted to know.

"Is he awake? Can I talk with him?" Q added as N, Medic, Devola and Popola's expression became a bit more grim. Needless to say. It instantly got Q worried, "What? What is it?"

Medic instantly provided her an explanation, "Mein freund. B is in a stable state and we'll sure he'll survive his wounds after we treated but he still hasn't woken up from his unconcious state."

"Oh..." Q replied in understanding as she looked slightly disappointed by it. She knew she couldn't complain about it, though as it was still better than B dying, "Can I at least go see him?"

"Of course. We won't stop you from seeing him." Medic replied as N nodded at her and turned around to open the door to B's hospital room. She was stopped from entering it, though as all of them heard someone walking down the hallway towards them. All of them shifted their attention to this person and saw Pacifica walking towards them with a box with a bunch of medical supplies in her grasp.

"There you are." Popola smiled slightly at her, "There you are. We were about to go into the room."

A2 raised her brow, "Who is that?"

"I dunno." Pyro replied in confusion, "A character from this city?"

"No. She's Pacifica. One of D's personas." Popola explained as Q, Pyro and A2 exchanged confused glances with each other due to them having not been notified about it while Popola explained further, "I asked her to deliver some of our medical supplies into this room in case something happens when he'll be still asleep or something happens after he wakes up."

"What do you mean by that?" Q voiced her confusion to her, "And why does she look like Pacifica from Gravity Falls?"

"We'll explain it to you later. For now, let's just go into the room." Devola replied as Medic, N and Popola nodded in agreement.

N pushed the door to B's hospital room open and entered it with Medic, Devola and Popola following her. Q, A2 and Pyro didn't follow them into the room right away as they kept their eyes on Pacifica for a brief moment. Pacifica titled her head to the side with a hint of confusion growing on her face. Q shook her head, knowing not it wasn't the time for this as she followed N, Medic, Devola and Popola into B's hospital room. Pyro, A2 and Pacifica wasted no time and followed her right away.

All of them stopped in front of B's hospital room, allowing themselves to take a good first look at his state post his operation and Q put her hand over her mouth. She wasn't the only one who reacted like this. A2 looked unnerved by what she was seeing, looking like she was doing her best not to look horrified by her friends state Pyro seemed unnerved by it as well. Even Pacifica was giving off vibes like she was unnerved by it even if her face was as blank as ever.

B's state was terrible to say the least. His entire face was covered with bandages up from his neck all the way down to his neck, having only one hole in it for one of his eyes not to leave him completely blind by the time he'll wake up. He was shirtless as well, allowing everyone to see his permanent lightning scars more clearly and just how many he had of them. If B's friends were honest with themselves, they were suprised but at the same time relieved his scars didn't spread over to his legs and the bottom part of his body as well.

"He got lucky." Devola commented to break the silence between everyone in the room, letting out a sigh as Q, A2 and Pyro shifted their gaze to her with their confusion by this statement showing in them in one way or another.

Q shifted her gaze to Devola and pointed at him, "What do you mean he got lucky? Look at him! How is any of that lucky?"

"What Fraulein. Devola is trying to say is zhat he got lucky with zhis eyes." Medic began to explain as Q shifted her gaze to him, "One of zhis eyes was burned away from ze lightining. The chances of saving it were nonexistent as it was already gone by the time we stated operating him. But it could zhave been much worse. If Kaltan's attack would have reached one centimeter further, then he would have lost both of his eyes and would be blind for zhe rest of his life."

Q gasped, feeling like crying again as she hugged Medic. Medic hugged her back with a saddened look on his face as she uttered into his coat, "...How am I going to tell him about all of this?" 

Medic looked down at her sadly, "I'm sure you'll do your best..."

"For how long he will asleep?" A2 asked as Q slowly pulled away from Medic.

"We're not sure." Popola gave her an honest answer, "It can be a day or a week or a few weeks. It's all up to him now."

"We'll keep him in this hospital for this week." Devola added as Pacifica pushed herself out of her state and walked over to one place in the hospital room and placed all the medical supplies in it, "If'll he sleep longer than that, then we'll move him to the HQ. N already asked us to prepared a room in the HQ for it in case if that happens."

"Okay..." Q said in understanding, growing more worried by the mention of the possibility of her best friend not waking up for a long time as N, Medic, Devola and Popola noticed this in her behavior. They wished they could tell her not to worry, but stayed silent as they knew they would be lying to her. The female watcher placed her hand over her face, "I just hope that won't happen here..."

"I think everyone zhere does, mein freund." Medic nodded in agreement, letting out a sigh as Pacifica turned away from the box she had just placed on the floor and started walking out of the room. All the doctors in the room followed her with Medic making sure to let Q know, "We have to take care of ze other matters in ze hospital now. I'll be back zhere soon with Fraulein. N to take a look on him. If something happens before that, just let us know and we'll be zhere right away."

"Alright. I will." Q nodded at him, moving towards the chair next to the bed and sat down on it with her eyes refusing to leave B. She didn't have to worry about something happening to B and no one being there to see it. It's not like she was planning to go anywhere. She was going to be in this room for days if she'll have to. Just to make sure she'll be there when B will wake up.

"Very well." Medic replied in understanding as he followed N, Devola, Popola and Pacifica out of the room. Before he exited the room, he exchanged glances with Pyro as Pyro nodded at him to silently tell him he'll be here as well.

Medic nodded back at him and walked out of the room, closing the door behind him and leaving Q, A2 and Pyro alone with an unconcious B. A2 and Pyro exchanged glances with each other, letting out worried and saddened sighs as they moved to be closer to Q who continued to stare at B. Pyro sat down on the seat next to her, wrapping his arm around his friend and rubbing his shoulder gently to comfort her as A2 leaned against the wall with her arms crossed. The female android sighed, setting her gaze on her friends. 

All three of them remained silent for the next several minutes, leaving the room in a complete silence. The only sound coming out of this room was the sound of the clock on the wall right above the doors. None of them knew what to say or do right now so they just kept staring at B in hopes of him waking up soon with Pyro continuing to rub Q's shoulder in a comforting manner. The silence was broken after those several minutes passed as Q got up from her chair all of a sudden and pulled out her phone. A2 and Pyro set their attention on her in an instant because of this.

"Q? What are you doing?" Pyro asked his friend but his question fell on deaf ears as Q browsed through something on her phone and stumbled upon what she was looking for a few seconds later. She clicked on her phone, turning on the music and a familiar song began to play.

A2 and Pyro exchanged glances with each other, letting out saddened sigh as they were more than familiar with this song and knew why Q turned it on right now. Both of them knew this song was B and Q's song more than anyone, having head them play it or sing it in front of them together countless times by now. Q must have thought or rather hoped the sound of this song will make B wake up.

Their suspicions were confirmed a second later as Q moved closer a bit and rubbed her hand on his bandaged head gently and told him, "Hey. Can you hear this? This our song. Remember? If you can hear this, then please wake up. If you won't wake up, then I don't what I'll do. You're my first ever friend and I don't want to lose you. Please. We were supposed to go to Hell together once this is all over. Remember...?"

A2 and Pyro exchanged glances with each other at Q's choice of words as she brought something up about B's being her first ever friend, wondering what she meant by that and beginning to grow concerned for their other watcher friend as well. Neither of them asked her about it, though as they knew not it wasn't the time for this as they watched how Q continued to rub her hand against B's forehead.

The female watcher even started hummed the melody of the song to him, hoping it will have any effect on him even if the logical part of her brain was telling her it was nothing, but a wishful thinking. The logical part of her brain was proven to be right a few minutes later as the song ended and there were still no signs of B waking up. Q lowered her head, letting out a saddened sigh as she sat back down on her chair and buried her head in her hands.

"Hey. Don't worry. You heard them. He'll be fine." Pyro continued to comfort her, wrapping his arm around her again as A2 nodded in agreement, even though Q wouldn't see this. The female android clenchec her hand, wishing there was something she could say to Q right now but had no idea what to say to her. She was never good at this type of stuff. She cursed herself mentally for it.

"Great job, you worthless idiot. You can't even comfort someone who was supposed to be your friend when she needs it." The white haired android cursed herself mentally for it.

"...Hey." A familiar male voice rang through their ears as Q, Pyro and A2 looked in the direction of it and saw W and K walking into the room. T and M were standing in the doorway to it, watching everything with grim looks on their faces.

Q looked at them sadly, "Guys..."

"We found out they managed to keep him alive and placed him in the hospital so we went to visit him as quickly as we could." W explained their reason for coming here as he set his eyes on B and cringed at the state his fellow male watcher was in right now. K cringed heavily as well, placing her head over her mouth with a worried look on her face. M and T were unnerved by what they were seeing as well as they remained in the doorway, not wanting to leave the hospital room too crowded.

"W-We brought something for him as well." K added, keeping her gaze on B as she held a boquet of the pink roses she managed to find in a flower store in the town.

Q raised her brow, "What do you mean?"

W stepped closer to Q and held out a card to her, "We got him a 'get well soon card'. We know this isn't much but I don't think there's much we can do other than offering our wishes. It still better than nothing as well, right?"

Q took the card from W and opened it. She saw a bunch of signatures inside. All of them came from her fellow watchers with D's handwriting being a bit shaky. She even saw the signatures of Devola, Popola, 6O and Esdeath inside. She closed the card and looked up at W and K questioningly, "Your signed all over it?"

"Yes." W nodded in confirmation as Q closed the card and placed it on the cupboard next to B's bed, "We had everyone from the HQ sign this before we went to the hospital. Even D, despite you know." 

"I-I got some flowers to add to it as well." K added, gesturing to the boquet of the pink roses in her grasp as she walked over to the cupboard next to the bed and placed it next to the 'Get well soon' card. Q raised her brow at the view of the pink roses, but didn't think much of it now.

"T-Thank you. I'm sure he'd appreciate it if he was awake..." Q voiced her gratitude to them. Even though it wasn't much, she felt grateful all of them were considerate enough to do something like this. She knew B would be appreciate it as well.

W looked at her questioningly, "Do they have any idea of when he'll wake up? I'd ask N about it but she seemed busy with something and I didn't want to interrupt her."

"We don't know." Q gave him an honest answer.

A2 nodded in confirmation as she added, "From what they told us, it can be a few days but at the same time it can be a few weeks. If it will be the latter, then he'll be moved to the HQ."

'I see." W said in understanding, letting out a sigh as K seemed to grow sadder by this answer. M and T exchanged glances, both of them looking sad just like everyone else.

T set his eyes back on B a second later, clencing his hand as he found himself growing guilty over what happened. He couldn't help but wounder what would happen if he didn't split up from K shortly after they entered the city. If he didn't split up from her, then he would be there with her and would be collected by W, N, B and Q to fight Kaltan. If he was there and they had one person extra to fight Kaltan, then maybe things would have turned out differently...

Three days have passed since the watchers and their allies clashed with Kaltan in the CN City and all of them remained in the city for the last three days, taking care of the unfinished business they had in this city.  Whoever didn't have any business in the city occupied themselves by helping the residents deal with what happene in their homeworld in any way they could. Their help mostly involved them helping to take out the debris and helping rebuilding the city.

The watchers occupied themselves with their own business as well as most of them helped in rebuilding of the city with a few exceptions such as C and R settling down the business with the family of the Eds. Q, D, X and Z didn't help much as well. D wasn't in the right state to help anyone right now, having mostly kept to himself since his breakdown and X and Z stayed close to him to support him. Q wasn't in the state to help with anything right now and even if she was, she wouldn't.

The female watcher kept her word, meaning what she said of wanting to be there when B will wake up and kept herself locked up in B's hospital room for the last three days and only left it when she had to go to the bathroom. She refused to leave it even when the others raised their concerns or reminded her of how she needs to eat, making A2 and Pyro, who just like her remained by B's bed for the last three days, bring her the food. Even when they brought her something to eat, she barely ate anything and the food was mostly going to waste.

They weren't the only ones in the hospital room as B got many visits for each day he was in the hospital. The most frequent visitors were Medic, N, Devola and Popola for all the obvious reasons as they had to check if his state was stable or not every now and then. N was the most frequent visitors out of all of them as she often sat down next to B and used her healing glove on him, making sure he won't have to keep his face bandaged for long.

The others watchers visited him as well to check on him and Q and to see how both of them were doing. Out of all of them, K was the most frequent visitors as she visited him twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the night. All of the RED mercenaries visited him as well and even the Scooby Gang visited him to check on him. Anemone paid a brief visit as well but the purpose of her visit was more to check how A2 was doing, knowing her old friend was hanging out a lot with B after moving into the watchers HQ. Some of them even left a gift for B as a way of voicing their hopes of him waking up soon.

Q's eyes were closed right now, having fallen asleep about an hour ago due to her being unable to stay awake for any longer after keeping herself awake for the last three days. A2 and Pyro were asleep as well with Pyro leaning against his seat with his head lowered and his arms crossed, letting out muffled snores and A2 was leaning against Q for support, having moved in her sleep and leaned against her to make herself more comfortable.

Because of all of them sleeping right now, all of them failed to notice B's body moving as the male watcher slowly began to wake up from the sleep he was forced into by Kaltan. B's eyes slowly opened a second later with hit being visible through his one uncovered eye and the first feeling he felt upon waking up was him feeling all the bandages covering his head. This feeling confused the male watcher, making him question himself why he had around his head and thinking if T was playing a prank on him again.

All of this confused feelings regarding his bandages faded away a second later as he recalled what happened to him before he went to sleep to him. He remembered him going against Kaltan to give Q, W, N and K enough time to collect themselves and the last thing he remembered from that moment was the unspeakable pain he felt before fading away. Whatever Kaltan did to him must been the reason why his face was bandages now. 

The male watcher let out a nervous breath, keeping his thoughts on what happened to him before getting knocked out. His nervous feelings faded away from him a second later, though as he realized something. If he woke up right now and was treated for whatever wounds Kaltan gave him, it meant the others managed to defeat him and were safe. Upon realizing this, he felt relief replacing all of his nervous feelings.

He pushed himself away from those thoughts a second later, focusing himself on something else as he found himself thinking about his bandaged face. He began to wnder how bad his state must have been if all of it had to be bandaged. His head became filled with question the more he thought about it as he found himself wanting answers to get a better sense out of his situation due to how confusing everything was to him now.

He was certain about one thing. However he looked like underneath his bandages, he hoped it won't be anything too bad...

B stopped thinking about his bandaged face a second later as he noticed something else about himself. He could barely see anything. His vision was a bit blurry. It was much worse than he could remember as he didn't have much problem with it until now. At first, he thought it will be pass after a few seconds due to him being in his just woken up state, but it didn't. It just made him even more confused. 

He slowly moved his head around the room to get to know his surroundings as he noticed there was something else wrong with his sight.  One of his eyes wasn't working as well, making him view everything like he was looking through only one eye. He didn't think much of it, though. After all only one of his eyes was uncovered and he would view everything normally once his bandages will be taken off, right?

The male watcher stopped his gaze upon glancing to his left as he noticed three familiar figures sleeping next to him. Even though with his sight not being the best right now, he recognized them straight away as he knew those figures were Q, A2 and Pyro. He noticed the state Q was in a second later. His best friend looked like terrible. She looked like she hadn't showered in days and looked like she hadn't had a proper meal in days. She had noticeable bags under her eyes as well.  

Q slowly began to move in her sleep a second later as she slowly opened her eyes, letting out an exhausted yawn. She laid her eyes on B upon opening them, seeing her best friend looked at her with his one uncovered eye. She blinked with a suprised look on her face to make sure her eyes weren't playing a trick on her, "B-B?!"

"Q...?" He quietly uttered his best friends name upon seeing her wake up as Q's loud question woke A2 and Pyro up from their own slumbers. Both of them glanced at Q questioningly before seeing her looking at B. They glanced at their other watcher friend a second later and felt t

Q instantly bursted into happy tears as she launched herself at him and hugged him as if her life depended on it, "I'm so happy you're awake! Because if you didn't wake up, then I don't know what I would do!"

B cringed a bit due to the force she had hugged him with, "Q..."

Q realized the mistake she made by lunging at him like this in his state and quickly pulled away from him with an apologetic look on her face, "I-I'm sorry! I wasn't thinking straight! Don't be..."

"It's okay. Come here." B let her know no harm was done as Q calmed down and moved to hug him again and this time she made sure to be more gentle with her grip and movements while Pyro jumped up from his seat and rushed out of the room in order to inform the doctors about B waking up.

"I'm so happy right now..." Q muttered into his clothes, keeping herself latched to him and refused to let him go even if her life depended on it. All this happiness made her forget she'll have to tell him everything regarding the state of his body in a moment from now on.

B said nothing, not knowing what to say right now and allowed Q to hug everything out as he knew how stressed out she must have been for however long he was sleep. The state she was in right now more than showed it to him. Q kept muttering various stuff into him as he slowly moved his arm to wrap it around her to return the hug. Fortunely for him, moving his arm didn't hurt like he expected it would. As he wrapped his arm around Q, he glanced at A2 and saw something he never saw from her. 

A2 was tearing up and was smilling.

For the first time he first met her, she was actually tearing up. He saw her smile before, but her smiles were rare and barely noticeable before. She was doing her best to hide them as well. Right now, however, her smile was full and she didn't even try to hide it from him or from Q.  The android didn't care about it right now and didn't care about the possibility of Q teasing her about it. What mattered to her right now was the fact that her friend was alive and had just woken up.

It was when all of them heard a bunch of people running down the hallway towards the hospital room. All of them shifted their attention from each other to the door to B's hospital room with Q pulling away from B as Pyro rushed through it and was followed by Medic, N, Devola and Popola who dropped everything they've been doing at the moment after Pyro found them and told them about B waking up from his slumber.

"B. Mein freund." Medic smiled at the view of B being awake as N silently smiled upons seeing him awake as well. All of them felt relieved to see him wake up as it reassured him that he was going to live and because they knew they won't have to move him to the HQ like they would have to if he didn't wake up.

"How do you feel?" Popola wanted to know.

"Strange. I don't know how to explain it..." B gave them an honest answer, "...For how long was I asleep?"

Medic sighed, 'Three days."

"Three days?" B's one uncovered eye widened a bit.

"Yes." Popola gave him a nod of confirmation with her smile fading away and being replaced with concern.

"We weren't sure if you'd wake up this soon." Devola added, "We even prepared a room in the HQ just in case your coma would last longer."

Popola's smile returned to her face for a second, 'We're happy that wasn't the case here, though."

B adjusted his sitting position a bit and winced, feeling a sharp pain in his chest,  "What... happened to me? After Kaltan, you know..."

"You were in a pretty rough shape." Medic provided him an explanation.

"Me and the others were certain Kaltan killed you before I saw you were still breathing." Q added with her tone become a bit shaky as N silently nodded in confirmation, "Once we found out you were still alive, we left N with you and went to gather the best doctors would think of to help her treat you."

Popola nodded in confirmation, "Once we were sure you'll survive, we moved you to this room in the hospital in the city and you've been here for the last three days."

"I-I see..." B replied in understanding a slightly shaken up tone. His injures made him asleep for three days and it could have been more if he didn't wake up now?The others were thinking he was dead before they saw him breathing as well? Just how bad his injures were? He voiced his next question a second later, "Did something else happened when I was asleep?"

"Not really." A2 shook her head, "From what I heard from the others, everyone is still in the city and are using this time to help the citizens with the destruction to make the rebuilding process quicker."

Devola nodded in confirmation, "Yeah. It's exactly like she's saying."

"Only something happened with D..." Q added as Devola clenched her hand at the mention of him.

B looked at her questioningly,  "What? What happened with D?"

"I'll tell you later. Once you'll be out of here." Q replied, not wanting to bother B with this right now.

"Okay..." B didn't know what to make of this. It made him slightly worried for D. It must have been something serious if Q didn't want to bring this up to him right now. He slowly lifted his hand up and pointed at his face, "...What about this? Will have I have to wear this for now or can I have it removed now?"

Medic put his hand on his chin, "You can have it removed now. According to zwhat Fraulein. N told us this morning, your face should be healed by now due to her using her healing glove on you for the last three days. If it wasn't for it, then you would you have to keep your face bandages for the next few weeks."

"Alright." B said in understanding as he shifted his gaze to N and nodded at her gratefully. N smiled at him slightly and nodded in return. He stayed silent afterwards, not knowing if he had any other questions to them. The matter of his eyes sight and him seeing like he only had one eye remained on his mind. He didn't question them about it, though as he knew it would change once his bandages were taken off.

Medic, N, Devola and Popola exchanged glances with each other and nodded a second later, knowing B didn't have anything else to ask them about and knowing they should remove his bandages if he asked them about them. Medic and N moved towards him, intending to remove them from his face as Devola grabbed a nearby mirror and held it in ready in case B will want to see how his face looks like once his bandages will be removed.

Medic and N started removing his bandages a second later, being as careful as they could with it as B felt the eyes of everyone on him right now. They finished removing his bandages a few moments later and everyone in the room froze upon seeing his face with Popola letting out an audible gasp before covering her mouth. Most of them already had an idea of how his face looked like due to them either seeing him right after defeating Kaltan like Q and N or due to them operating him like Medic, Devola and Popola. It didn't make seeing the true state of his face after he got completely healed any easier, though...

"Guys? What's wrong...?" B asked, feeling taken aback by their reaction as even Pyro and Medic looked like he was unnerved by what he was seeing and it was something he never thought he'll see from either of them. Devola slowly turned the mirror around and allowed B to see himself and how he looked like right now.

He looked terrible. His face was filled with disfigured scars and burnt marks, making him almost unrecognizable from his old other self. If he didn't knew what was him right now, then he would probably not recognize himself. He noticed something else about his face as well. The eye which was covered by a bandage was missing, leaving an empty black hole. Finding himself growing more panicked, he lifted his hand up to touch his missing eye in hopes of his brain playing a trick on him and him having only one eye was not the case here.

His fears were confirmed a second later as his hand reached his other eye and he didn't feel anything there. All he felt was an empty eye socket. Not only that. He noticed his face wasn't the only thing affected by what Kaltan did to to him. The rest of his body was affected by it as well. He saw all the lightining scars on his body and he was certain he had some on his back as well. Even if he couldn't see them right now due to the way he was seated.

B felt tears forming in his eyes upon seeing the state he was in right now as he let out one deep breath after another, looking to be on the verge of a panic attack.

He was hideous...

"B...?" Q uttered his name in worry as she saw him acting the way he did right now.

Medic slowly reached his hand out to him, "Just calm down, mein freund. I understand zthis must be.."

B let out a deep breath with tears beginning to run down his cheeks, "Out..."

Medic raised his brow at him, "What?"

B let out another deep breath, "Out please. I want to be alone..."

"Are you sure?" Popola asked in worry after seeing his reaction.

"B. We can't leave you..." Q tried to say to him.

B looked at all of them with a pleading look on his face, "Please. I need to be alone for a moment..."

Everyone in the room stared at him silently, showing concern in a bigger or smaller way as they exchanged glances with silently discuss what they should do right now. Even though all of them had second thoughts about it, they decided to leave him alone in the room for now as they could see how overhelmed he was by everything and knew overhelming him more would have just made everything worse.

All of them slowly started leaving the room a second later, intending to remain close to it just in case something bad will happen after they'll leave B alone in it and Q was the last person from them to leave it. His best friend looked like she didn't want to leave him alone as she refused to move from her place when the other started to leave. A2 and Pyro had to grab her by her shoulders and usher her out of the room to which Q reluctantly complied.

B watched everyone leave the room one by one with his tears still visible in his eyes and his breathing being as unsteady as it was before and it didn't seem like it was going to stop anytime soon. He was left alone in his room a moment later as Pyro walked out of the room and closed the door behind him, being the last one to leave the room. Once he was left alone in the room,  the male watcher released the waterfall he was holding in his eyes ever since he saw his reflection in the mirror and began to sob all the water out of his body.

He placed his face in his hands, covering his face with it as he sobbed into them and allowed himself to process everything. He thought about everything and felt worse with each passing second as all bunch of degrading things about himself flew through his mind. He pulled his hands away from his face a second later, knowing what to do next as he got up from his bed and touched the cold floor with his barefeet, almost falling over in the process due to it being his first step in days.

The male watcher slowly made his way to the mirror left behind by Devola all the while still having tears running down his cheeks, bumping into something in the process due to his worsened sight and him falling to notice this in time and picked it up. He looked at his reflection in the mirror once again, making himself feel even worse as he allowed himself to eye his face again and how hideous he was right now.

B slowly reached his free hand up, moving it across his face to touch it right now and felt how differently his skin felt like right now. He felt how wet his cheeks were right now due to his tears as well. The matter of his worsened sight crossed his mind again as well as he focused himself on his empty eye socket with his thoughts regarding his eyes sight becoming the main subject of his thoughts for a moment.

He slowly started to grow more worried as he found himself thinking on what he will do now with a worsened sight due to him missing one eye now. What should he do with it now? Should he worry about his sight becoming even worse in the future? His other eyeball must have been damaged in some way as well due to the damage he received. What if it will stop working in time and he'll become completely blind?

If that will happen, then he will become completely useless. He'll be nothing but a hideout blind nobody who won't be capable of doing anything...

He shook his head a second later, pushing those thoughts away from him, but they just got replaced with a bunch of new ones as he found himself thinking about his face again and how hideous he was. Whatever his face was, he didn't want to see it. He didn't want people to know how he looks like. He wanted to hide himself away from the world where they won't see him. The thought of someone seeing him like this and recoiling in disgust or shock or both was enough to make him start panicking again.

The male watcher knew there was only one way stopping people from seeing his face. He knew the option of running off to be alone somewhere was out of the question as he knew the other watchers would come looking for him. Would he be even capable of surviving on his own in the state he was in right now? Probably now. A hideous garbage like him wouldn't have survived a week by himself.

He knew the only option of hiding his face away from the world now was covering it with something like a mask. Upon deciding to cover his face with a mask, he began to think about the kinds of mask he could use to cover himself with and various options flew through his mind. He always liked the mask of Michael Myers for example. He crossed this option off the list, though. He wanted something to cover his ugliness with. He didn't want to creep people out in the process.

It was when he got an idea. He always liked the mask of Wrench from the second Watch Dogs game and even watched a few videos on the internet of people recreating it. He knew it would be perfect for him. It would make him look cool as well. Something which would be a completely contrast to him if he didn't cover his face with it and remained ugly for everyone to see. Upon making his choice, he summoned his Infinity Gauntlet.

He snapped his fingers and the mask appeared in front of him a second later. He picked it up and eyed it for a few seconds, letting out a sigh as he nodded to himself to let himself know he was certain with his choice. He wasted no time afterwards and lifted his mask up to cover his face with it. He looked at his reflection in the mirror again a second later, feeling himself growing slightly less nervous after seeing his face was no longer visible.

The male watcher replaced the mirror on the furniture in front of him a second later, letting out a deep breath as he turned around and saw a bunch of clothes prepared for him laying on the left side of the bed. He slowly pushed himself into walk, doing his best to be as careful as he could and not bump into anything. Unfortunely, he failed and bumped into the frame of the hospital bed.

B exhaled deeply, moving away from the bed with a whimper after bumping into it and slowly made his way to his clothes. He slowly picked the first article of clothing he got his hands on up and nodded in a satisfied manner. It was a hoodie. Good. It was his favourite article of clothing for a long time now. To make everything better for him now, it would cover all of his lightining scars and would hide them from everyone like his mask was hiding his face.

Good. He knew there was a reason why he always liked hoodies. Now he had a reason to keep wearing them as well...

Not wasting any time, he slowly began to put his clothes on himself and found himself fully clothed in a few moments. With him now being fully clothed, he moved towards exit from the hospital room as he wanted to leave this place as quickly as he could. He stopped himself from leaving the place a second later, though as he noticed something on the cupboard next to the bed and wanted to inspect it.

He stopped in front of the cupboard and felt like crying again as he noticed all the stuff the others left for him while he was asleep...

He noticed an opened "Get Well Soon' card and could see all the signatures inside of it of all the people who married about him. If only he knew the signatures only consisted of the residents of the HQ when this card was first delivered here. He had no idea the signatures of the RED mercenaries and the Scooby Gang were added later on...

He saw a boquet of the pink roses. The card next to it told B it was from everyone who signed up on his 'Get Well Soon' cardm but he saw whoever gifted him those flowers wanted to make it clear who bought them for him. This person was K. The male watcher sighed upon seeing his name. K was really a good friend to him if she was considerate enough to bring him those flowers. She must have been worried about him as well...

He saw an eyepatch. He didn't have to think long to come up who gifted this to him. The answer was quite obvious to him. His suspicions were confirmed a second later as he noticed a small message from the person this gift came from. It came from Demoman. The message was Demoman telling him he knows how it feels like to have only one eye and how both of them can be eyepatch buddies from now on. B appreciated the gift but was not going to wear the eyepatch, having already found a way how to hide his lack of eye and his hideous face from the world.

The last thing he saw an unopened box of the Scooby Snacks. He didn't have to think twice when he figured out who it came from. The Scooby Gang had given this to him and the message they left for him only confirmed it, "Just a few bites of those and you'll feel like a new person straight away. The Scooby Gang :)."

B placed his hand over his masked face upon seeing all the gifts from everyone, letting out a whimper as did his best from crying again. He composed himself a second later, letting a tearful exhale as he reached out towards the cupboard and grabbed everything from it. Everyone was considerate enough to gift this to him and he was not going to leave it behind. It would make feel worse about himself than he already does.

After grabbing everything from the cupboard and placing everything on top of the box of the Scooby Snacks, he turned around towards the exit and pushed himself into walk towards it again. He reached it again a second later and pushed it open, walking out of his hospital room and entering the hallway. Upon finding himself on the hallway, he saw everyone from the room waiting for him there with a few additions in the form of the watchers like W, T, K, O, V and the characters like Heavy and Demoman.

"G-Guys..." He called out for him, finding himself growing nervous and overhelmed by the amount of people in front of him as everyone set their eyes on him as soon as they heard the door to his hospital room open.

Heavy smiled slightly upon laying his eyes on him, "Baby man!"

"You're awake, man!" O smiled after seeing B walk out of his hospital room with all of his stuff in his hands.

"You have no idea how worried all of us were." K smiled at him in a relieved manner as T had a smile on his face as well. Q, however, instantly noticed there was something off about him due to his mask.

"Wait...What are you wearing?" She voiced her concern to him just as everyone realized he was wearing a mask now.

"Something which will prevent other people from seeing how hideous I am..." B gave her an honest answer. His words instantly hit everyone like a truck. Everyone felt their smiles turning into concern in an instant after hearing his answer.

Q's concerned stutter from earlier came back to her in an instant, "W-What do you mean?"

"You know what I'm talking about..." B replied, not wanting to go into a full explanation here and everyone who was in his hospital room knew what he was talking about.

Q's gaze softened in concern, "B. You know you don't need to cover your face. Right?"

"We won't treat you differently because of how you look like now." K nodded in agreement with a concerned look on her face.

T nodded in agreement, "Yeah, pal. We won't care what you look like now."

"They're right, man." W voiced his agreement with V and O voicing their agreement in their own ways, "You know it won't bother us."

Demoman nodded in agreement, "Aye, lad. Trust me. I'm sure it will be nothing compared to everything else I've seen while working for RED."

"You've know I've seen shit worse than that." A2 added her own part to everything.

"It doesn't make me any less better. I don't feel comfortable with anyone seeing it. I don't want to see it myself to be honest. I just want anyone to see how disgusting I am..." B shook his head at their words, knowing all of them were just saying this to make him feel better. Everyone exchanged worried glances with each other, seeing how shaken up he was by everything as B added, "I want to go home. Can someone take me home. Please?"

"Are you sure you want to leave?" W asked him in worry, "There's some people here who would want to see you..."

Q nodded in confirmation with her own worry refusing to leave her face, "Yeah. The Scooby gang wanted to talk with you. They visited you everyday to see how you're holding up. Maybe you could go talk with them."

"N-No. I just want to go home. Please..." B sounded like be was begging them at this point. Everyone once again was left feeling like a truck hit them by his words. From the tone of his voice, everyone could tell keeping here and not taking him to the HQ was not going to end well and Q quickly decided it would be for the best if she took him home. If she was honest with herself, a good part of her wanted to go there as well.

"O-Of course." The female watcher broke the silence between them as she stepped closer to him and placed her hand on his shoulder in a gentle calming manner, "I'm gonna take you home with me straight away. Okay?"

"O-Okay." B nodded in return as Q turned away from him for a second to glance at everyone and nodded at them, silently reassuring them that she will handle this. She started leading B away from everyone a second later, wanting to take him somewhere private where she will take him to the HQ through a portal and A2 and Pyro followed them. Everyone watched the group of four walk away from them with a mixture of sadness and worry on their faces.

B, Q, A2 and Pyro left the CN City shortly after, leaving the city and what happened in it behind them...

C, R, W, N and K found themselves standing the mayor's office, having a final conversation with him for the time being as all of them were gathering themselves to leave the CN City and go back to their HQ. Most of their allies have already left the city, having finished everything they had to to do in this city and having done everything they could for them. They were still many things in this city which needed rebuilding, despite all the help they received for the last three days, but they weren't going to complain to anyone about it as they already owned the watchers and their allies more than they could ever repay for.

C, R, W, N and K were summoned into the Mayor's office just as they were preparing themselves to leave. Originally only C and R were planning to have one final conversation with him about everything and how things will look like between them and their world from now on, but the Mayor insisted on W, N and K joining them for this conversation as he wanted to personally thank them for their role in Kaltan's defeat as it was something he didn't got a chance to do for the last three days.

Upon arriving at the office, the five watchers noticed the Mayor was not in his office before. He was accompanied by Sara Bellum, like usual but the other people in his office included the Powerpuff Girls, Professor Utonium and Dexter. The five watchers stopped in front of them, waiting for for the meeting to start as they felt their eyes on them. Something else caught their attention as well.

The said something were five golden medals standing on the Mayor's desk. What caught their attention about those meadls was the fact that they had B, Q, W, N and K's names engraved on them, making them look like they were specifically made for them. C, W, N and K exchanged glances with each other at the view of the medals as R didn't pay much attention to it and instead focused herself on staring at Sara Bellum.

"...What is this?" W asked, pointing at the medal with his name as he looked at the people in front of with a raised brow. 

"Our thank you gift for you." The Mayor explained as he shifted his gaze between W, N and K, "The three of you alongside B and Q risked your lives to our world from Kaltan and one of you almost paid the worst price for it. We felt like we should reward for you in some way as a way of expressing our gratitude for it."

Professor Utonium nodded in confirmation, "Our would have been consumed by Kaltan if it wasn't for you and this is why we want you to know us and the rest of our city will be forever in your debt."

"The Mayor wanted it to be a medal ceremony in front of us everyone, but I convinced him it would not be the place and time for it." Sara Bellum added.

W nodded in approval, "You did the right thing by convicing me not to do it. We did what had to be done and we don't need to be rewarded for it like you want us to." 

"Yeah." K nodded in agreement, "After what happened, I don't think I would be in the mood for a medal ceremony."  

"Just like what you would expect from Sara Bellum..." R added as C elbowed her as a way of telling her to behave herself. Would this work? Probably not.

"Regardless of how you feel about it, you still saved our world." Blossom pointed out to them, not wanting to them to make their achievement of defeating Kaltan and how much it meant for their world, "For that, you will always be considered heroes in our eyes."

Bubbles nodded in agreement with a smile on her face, "If what I heard about you being only the beginners in your job with only a year of experience is true, then I can see easily say you will do well in your job of the protectors of the multiverse."

"Yeah. Especially that woman with the chainsaws." Buttercup added with a grin forming on her face as she found herself thinking back to what she saw of V in her Chainsaw Woman armor and how nothing in her way stood a chance against her, "With someone like that in your ranks, I'm sure all the jerks in the multiverse will have their asses beaten by you!"

"Buttercup. Language." Professor Utonium told one of his daughters in a slighting scolding tone as Buttercup looked a bit sheepish and embarassed by it.

"Either way, we'd like to accept those medals as our token of gratitude and may you always know you will have friends in us and our world." The Mayor said, trying to shake off the awkward atmosphere after Buttercup's comment as W, N and K exchanged glances with each other before, stepping closer to the desk and grabbed their medals, leaving B and Q's medals untouched.

"Very well." K replied, holding her medal in front of her as she allowed herself to eye it from up close. She sighed internally. She always dreamed of having such medal in her homeworld whenever she participated in the martial arts tournaments....

"Even if we don't think it was needed, thank you for being considerate enough to gift it to us. I'll make sure to keep good care of it and keep it in a honor place in my room." W expressed his gratitude for the medal, keeping his eyes on his own medal just like K.

N nodded in agreement and signed with her free hand, "Thank you."

Buttercup raised her brow, "What did she say?" 

"She said thank you." Dexter translated it to her, knowing sign language as Professor Utonium nodded in confirmation.

The Mayor brushed their gratitude off, "You don't need to thank us for this. After all those are our gratitude gifts for you."

"It's just a shame B and Q aren't here to collect theirs." Blossom added as she set her eyes on the two remaining medals with a saddened look on her face, "We'd like to thank them personally for everything, like we did with you as well."

K sighed sadly at the mention of them, "Yeah..."

"We're sorry if you were expecting them to be present for it." C added from where she stood with R, "B asked to be taken to our home right after he woke up and Q went with him."

"Don't worry. We understand it completely." Professor Utonium reassured them.

Sara Bellum nodded in agreement, "If it happened to me, then I would probably be wanting to come home straight away as well."

"Can you give them their medals the next time you'll see them?" The Mayor asked.

"Don't worry about that." R assured them as she walked over to the desk and grabbed the medals for B and Q, "I'll personally make sure to give B and Q their medals the next time I'll see them."

"Thank you." The Mayor smiled at her. The others from his side of the conversation smiled as well.

"Now with this matter aside, can we discuss the matters between your world and us?" C asked as R, W, N and K all made their way back to her with all of them holding medals.

"Very well. Let's get to it." The Mayor nodded at her with the the others from his side of the conversation nodding in agreement, "How will the situation between our city and you look from now on?"

R gave him an explanation a second later, "We will remain in contact with each other like we do with each of the worlds we have visited so far. It's how he we were able to gather allies for this fight."

The Mayor nodded in understanding, "Alright."

"How we will remain in contact?" Dexter wanted to know.

C stepped closer to the desk and placed a communication device in top of it, "Keep this device close to yourself as much as you can. Think of it as the phone you always use to contact the Powerpuff Girls whenever your town is under attack by a monster. It almost works like a phone as well so you won't have any problem with using it. If you'll find yourself under an emergency or will have some other business from us, just contact us and we'll answer it."

"Very well." Dexter replied in understanding. If the Mayor would allow him to perform a research on this device, then maybe he would be able to recreate it and place it in his laboratory as well.

The Mayor grabbed the communication device and pulled it closer to himself, leaving right next to the phone of the Powerpuff Girls, "I'll always make sure to keep it close to myself, then. If any anomaly will occur in our world and we know it's nothing normal, I'll contact you and will inform you about it straight away."

"I'll make sure it will be something really urgent as well to make sure he won't call you during nothing important." Sara Bellum added as the Powerpuff Girls nodded in agreement, having lost the count of how many times they were called by the Mayor to open a jar of pickles for him.

"Alright. That would be great." C nodded gratefully, knowing what they were referring to. It was when the room was engulfed in a total silence as everyone in it had nothing to say to each other. It was when all of them realized their conversation had come to an end, "...I think that's everything we had to say to each other. Unless you want to talk about something else."

The Mayor shook his head, "No. I believe this is all I had to say to you."

"Same here." Professor Utonium added as Blossom, Buttercup, Bubbles, Sara Bellum and Dexter silently nodded in agreement.

C nodded at them and shifted her gaze to her fellow watchers, "What about you? Do you have anything to say before we'll leave?"

R shook her head, "No."

"I have nothing." W added as K and N silently nodded in agreement.

C nodded at her fellow watchers and shifted her gaze bac to the residets of the CN City, "Alright. With everything having been taken care of, we'll get moving."

"Very well." The Mayor said in understanding as he grabbed his hat and bowed his head at them as his final expression of respect, "I bid you farewell."

"Look out for yourself out there." Sara Bellum wished them luck.

Buttercup smiled at them, "Make sure you'll have some sick stories for us the next time we'll search other."

"Makes sure to tell D I wish him all the best and I hope he will recover from whatever he is going through right now." Bubbles added, wanting to make sure D will know what she thinks about him and his struggles.

R nodded at her with a smile on her face, "Don't worry. I will."

"Farewell everyone. Hopefully the next time we'll see each other will be under better circumstances." C added with the rest of the watchers nodding in agreement. She really hoped that will be the case here. If their next meeting would happen under bad circumstances, however, she knew it definitely won't be as bad as what happened a few days ago. Nothing would beat a giant multiverse eating monster, right?

With their final farewells having been said, the five watchers turned away from the residents of the CN City and pushed themselves into walk. As they were making their way towards he exit from the office, R looked over her shoulder to give Sara Bellum one last glance and did the "Call me" gesture with her hands to her. C rolled her eyes at her behavior as K grabbed R by her ear and forcefully dragged her out of the room with R pleading her to stop and let go off her.

With R's pleads still ringing through her ears, the five watchers walked out of the Mayor's office a second later, closing the door behind them and beginning to walk down the hallway.  None of the formed a portal in front of them upon leaving the office, though as they had one last thing left to take care of before they'll leave this world. No one in the group of five worried about their last business int his world taking them long, though as they new it was something they will take care of in seconds.

They arrived at their destination less than a minute later as the Eds appeared in their view. The three friends were standing at the end of the hallway with a bunch of bags and suitcases with their stuff surrounding them. After some discussions and thinking, the Eds ultimately agreed to come to live with the watchers at their HQ where they would train their powers alongside them. Their families agreed to it as well after R and C personally talked with them with some families being easier to convinced to than the others. 

C stopped at in front of them a second later and set her eyes on them when she said, "Well, this is it."

R looked at all three of them questioningly, rubbing her ear due to it being in pain from K's strong grip, "Are you three ready to move into your new home?"

"You have no idea. Did you really have to make this meeting so long? I almost died out of boredom." Eddy replied with an eager look on his face as Double D and Ed silently nodded in agreement. His friends looked a bit more sad about leaving their world to live in the watchers HQ, though.

C rolled his eyes at him, "I already told you this may take a while. You should have been prepared for that."

Eddy crossed his arms, "If you say so." 

"Are we going now Miss?" Double D asked C, holding Ed's hands due to Ed being slightly nervous of how everything will go.

"Yes. Grab your bags." C nodded in confirmation as the Eds did as they were told by her. She opened the portal to the HQ in front of them a second later. She walked through it a second later, finding herself followed by R, W, N and K as the Eds all exchanged glances with each other and followed the five watchers through the portal, leaving their homeworld and finding themselves in a place which would become their new home...
