Time seemed to slow down for everyone as Kaltan's massive form stopped in front of the sun, covering it entirely and leaving the CN City towered by his massive shadow. Everyone in the town, no matter if they were attending the festival or not stopped what they were doing in an instant and looked up. Upon laying their eyes on Kaltan, everyone felt dread and fear filling their faces as all of them stared at the creature in his full form with horror written over their faces.

All of the civilian characters felt their hearts stop for a second, feeling themselves unable to move due to how scared they were. All of the hero characters who were about to rush in to fight Kaltan froze in their track, all their confidence in fighting off the massive creature fading away in an instant. All of them could tell Kaltan was something more than the villains they had faced before. Even strong and powerful villains such as Aku and Him felt a sense of dread go through their bodies upon seeing Kaltan in his full glory.

B, Q, A2, 9S and 2B were among them as well, finding themselves unable to take their eyes off of the massive create as they remained where they stood with the Scooby Gang and the Powerpuff Girls. All of them, even A2 and 2B, felt themselves growing fearful by the sight of Kaltan in his full form. They were aware Kaltan's final form was massive from the explanations R and C gave them, but this knowledge didn't make anything any better for them. Anyone, even in their position, would be unnerved by seeing a creature of such magnitude in front of them.

All of them pushed themselves out of their silent horror filled state as it was when the panic began. Horrified screams of the residents of the CN City rang through everyone's ears as everyone began fleeing in all the possible directions, trying to find a possible shelter from whatever had just appeared on their sky.  B, Q, A2, 9S and 2B exchanged glances with each other upon hearing their screams, knowing they had to do something now that their had revealed himself to them.

"Everyone! We need to start eva..." Blossom's words died in her throat mid-sentence as B, Q, A2, 9S and 2B summoned their weapons. B's hand found itself clad in a golden gauntlet with six stones all of a sudden and Q's medigun was held in her grip. The android wielded their blades as well. Needless to say. Blossom and everyone else from her group shifted their attention to them in an instant, taken aback by the suddenly pulling out weapons like this.

Daphne's eyes widened in suprise, "What the...?"

"What are those?" Velma asked, her eyes widened just as much as Daphne's was

"Like, they're so big!" Shaggy stated, looking scared out of his mind by what was happening right now. In fact. It was taking him everything he had in him not to run off somewhere like the rest of the civilian part of the city was doing right now.

"Who are you?! What are you?" Buttercup demanded to know, knowing something must have been wrong with these five as long as she knew their weapons. Them summoning such weapons out of nowhere and them being there when Kaltan was awoken certainly rised her suspicion. Him mentioning something about the watchers of the multilverse left her hungry for answers as well.

"We'll explain. Now it isn't the time!" B replied, knowing now was far from good time to have this conversation.

Q nodded in agreement ass he added, "All you need to do now is that we came to your world to take care of him!"

Buttercup didn't seem satisfied with their answer, however, and looked like she was about to argue with them, "What..."

"They're right, Buttercup! Not it isn't the time!" Blossom told her sister as Buttercup grumbled something under her breath. Blossom ignored whatever her sister was grumbling to herself right now and shifted her attention to the Scooby Gang , "The five of you need to go someplace safe while we'll take care of everything. With Daphne hurt, you need to be kept away from everything."

"We know where they can go." Q told her.

Blossom looked at her questioningly, "What do you mean?"

"Just follow the portals." Q explained, "Our friends will form a safe zone for you and the rest of the civilians."

"What portals?" Blossom raised her brow in confusion. She didn't have to wait long to get her answers. Several portals popped into existance in one part of the city, all of them looking directly towards Kaltan and people began emerging from it.

Q pointed towards those portals as she gave Blosson the answer she was waiting for, "Those portals."

"More of you watchers!" Kaltan growled out upon seeing the portals forming in front of him, his deep hatred filled voice echoeing through the area as he knew where those portals came from. He knew than remembered them from his past, "I should have been expecting more of you will appear! It doesn't matter. It means I'll just take care of you sooner and whatever little resistance you had formed in your attempt to stop me."

He growled out with hatred becoming more evident in his voice with each words he had uttered, "Once I'll be done with you, I'll eat his world and will grow more powerful. Once I'll be done with this world, I'll keep doing it until I'll become unstoppable. Once you won't be in my way anymore and I'll take care of you sooner than I planned, noting will stop me from achieving what I was creator for. I'll finish what me and my master creator had started all those years ago and will make him proud of putting me to life!"

Kaltan kept his hate filled eyes on the portal the more words he uttered to the watchers and their allies.  Upon hearing more words for him, some of the allies and even a few of the watchers felt themselves growing fearful by what he had just said to them. All of them shook off their feelings in an instant, knowing now it wasn't the time for stuff like this and they had to focus on their plan. They knew it was their first and only attempt and they had to make sure it will end with them winning over him.

However, no one was more scared than the residents of the CN City. After hearing Kaltan's words where he voiced his intention of eating their world, the panic among them spread and their fear towards the massive unknown creature only grew further. Their fear for their lives grew as well as all of them were more than certain what Kaltan eating their world, however he was going to do it, would mean for them. It would mean death.

Kaltan shifted his attention away from the portals a second later, intending to start preparing everything to fight off the watchers and their allies. Upon turning away from them, he started flying away towards the more isolated parts of the city where he would prepare himself to face the watchers directly while his soldiers would do their work. As he flew further into the city and found himself nearer his destination,  his surroundings became a bit different. Mostly the sky. The sky became filled with clouds with smaller or bigger lightnings shooting out of them,

Something else happened as he neared his destination as well. Something which looked like a dark yellowish matter began to fall out of his body.  The yellowish matter seperated itself from his body a second later, falling out of it in the countless numbers. Using his wings to her advantage here, Kaltan flapped them used them to spread the yellowish matter across the city. B and Q exchanged glances with each other upon seeing this, knowing exactly what it was. It was whatever Kaltan used to create his nests which would afterwards create his soldiers. The more nests he would create across the city, the more of them would have to focus themselves on destroying them instead of facing Kaltan directly.

The panicking citizens of the CN City noticed the flying yellowish matter as well. Needless to say. It increased the panic among them as all of them had no idea what the matter was. It decreased the locations in the city they could hide in as well as they intended to stay away from the places the matter had landed in. Despite not knowing what it was, they knew it was something they didn't want to get close to due to the creature it originated from.

It was the case with all of them, though. Three unfortunate people happened to be in the way of the yellowish matter as one piece of it was flying right at them. Those unfortunate people happened to be the Eds. The Eds were in the process of finding themselves a hideout where they would wait everything out.  Due to how panicked all of them were, Eddy decided all of them would wait everything out in the sewers.

Double D, being himself, was less than pleased with the idea and tried to convince Eddy to hide someplace else while Eddy tried to get the entrance to the sewer open for him and his friends. It caused the two friends to argue about it, making them lose the time they could instead spent on finding a good hideout. Ed looked up, paying no attention to his friends arguing and noticed the matter flying right at them,

"Eddy! Double D!" He shouted with his eyes widened upon seeing the yellowish matter heading their way.

"What, Lumpy?" Eddy asked with a mixture of fear and frustation evident in his voice as he stopped what he was doing and glanced at Ed. Not only he had lost the money which was given to him by B when they were running away but now Ed was interrupting him in getting to safety.

"Look!" Ed replied as he pointed up towards the flying matter. Eddy and Double D looked in the direction he was pointing towards right now and saw what was flying right at them right now. The other two Eds felt their eyes snap open in an instant. Especially after seeing how close it was to them.

"Crap...!" Eddy shouted after seeing the matter heading their way. Before any of them knew it, the yellowish matter from Kaltan's body landed on top of them and trapped them underneath it as a nest began to form right on top of them.

Velma'e eyes widened at the amount of portals she saw opening in the distance as she continued to watch everything with her group, "...So many."

"Like, how are going to know where the safe zone will be set if there's so many of them?" Shaggy pointed out.

"Look for the portal with people who are not rushing into the battle." B told him, "Ask me and Q told you to come there. If you'll get lucky, then Daphne's ankle will be treated by either of the twins. They're among our best medics."

Fred nodded at him gratefully, "Alright. Thanks."

"You'll thank them later. Now go!" A2 replied, not wanting to deal with formalities right now as the Scooby Gang wasted no time and headed in the direction of the portals with Fred helping Daphne move around with her broken ankle.

Bubbles shifted her gaze between everyone after the Scooby gang left them, "What do we do now?" 

"I'll tell you what we're going to do!" Buttercup replied as she glared in the direction Kaltan had went towards, "We are going to show this jerk what happens if you mess with us!"

"Wait!" B called out for her before she coule move to attack Kaltan and get herself killed.

Buttercup turned towards him, "What?"

"Don't engage him directly." B told her.

Buttercup raised her brow in confusion, "What? Why?"

"Because he'll kill you." B went straight to the point. "For people like you, going against him is a certain death sentence."

"How can you know that?" Buttercup asked him.

"Buttercup. Just listen to them." Blossom told her sister, "If they know it would be a death sentence for you, then they must know what is happening right now."

"Fine..." Buttercup reluctantly agreed, "What should I do instead, then?"

"Look for the nests he made out of whatever came out of his body instead." B gave her his answer, "Us and our friends are planning to go after him. If there'll be more people taking care of his nests, then more of us will be able to face him directly."

"Alright. I can do that." Buttercup replied as she turned away from him and the rest and wasted no time when it came to rushing into battle. Blosson and Bubbles glanced down at the investigation team, exchanging glances and nods with them before following their sister. B, Q, 2B, A2 and 9S followed their example a second later and rushed into the battle with A2 taking the lead of the of their small group.

Lazlo, Raj and Clam had no idea what was happening right now. The saying all three of them were confused and scared right now was the understatement of the century. One second, all three of them were having fun at the festival and now all of them were running for their lives in panic while trying to find themselves a safe place with some giant monster who apparently wanted to eat their world flying above their city.

In their panic they found themselves at the park where they hoped they will find themselves some safe palce to wait everything out like a cave or one of the buildings in the park while their heroes will take care of the monster. After all, they would take care of him like they did with any other threat which befell on their city in the past, right? 

All three of them were forced to stop dead in their tracks when something landed directly in front of them. They had no idea what it was. All they could tell by looking at it was that it was a yellowish and was built of a strange matter. The three friends exchanged glances with each other, having no idea what to make of this aside from the fact that it was standing in their way of going further into the park. Wanting to know if it was safe for them to walk past it, Lazlo slowly pushed himself into walk towards it.

"Watch out Lazlo..." Raj told Lazlo in a scared tone, keeping himself hidden behind Clam as Lazlo nodded at him.

Lazlo shifted his attention back to the yellowish matter a second later, finding himself closer and closer to it. When he was close enough to it and nothing happened to him, he turned towards his friends and gave them a thumbs up as a way of telling them it was safe to go. After turning towards his friends, he noticed a sudden change in their expressions. Both of them became even more terrified for some reason. Raj in particular looked like he was about to pass out.

Lazlo raised his brow in confusion and glanced behind him. It was when his eyes widened as he noticed something coming out of the nest. Everything started with a head and it was only a matter of seconds before the rest of the body was formed the nest creature was formed. Lazlo watched everything with wide eyes, feeling himself frozen in his place due to the fear he was feeling right now.

The boy scout looked at the creature in front of him, eyeing it as he remained in his fear frozen state. It looked exactly like the monster from the sky. Only it was much smaller. It was human sized. It wore no clothes as well. The creature didn't say anything to him or make any noise. It advanced towards him. The moment it stepped towards him, Lazlo woke upf rom his frozen state turned away from it. Unfortunely for him, it was already too late to get away from the creature as it was too close to him.

Just as the creature was about to grab him, however, something stopped it mid-action. A chain wrapped itself around it from behind. The creature looked over it's shoulder and saw two women standing next to each other with an opened portal behind them. Those two women were R and C. R stood on the left, holding her whip in ready and C stood on the right, holding her own super weapon in ready. The said super weapon was the chain which was wrapped around the creature right now.

The creature kept it's eyes on R and C, forgetting about Lazlo and his friends in an instant upon laying it's eyes on the wathcers and it let out a growl. It's growl was terrifying to the point that it almost made Lazlo jump. Just as the creature was about to charge towards R and C, the chain engulfed itself in fire. The creature screeched in pain, finding themselves covered in fire as it burned to death until there was nothing, but ashy remains left of it.

Lazlo stared at what just happened to the creature from the yellowish matter with a suprised look on his face, "W-What..."

"One of the nests is here. Set up the explosives next to it." C declared, paying not attention to the suprised talking monkey in front of her for now as she glanced at whoever was behind her.

"On it!" Jackass shouted, looking quite excited by what was happening right now due to all the research she could do on it for the sake of science as she pushed herself into run towards the nest with a bunch of explosives in her hands. She stopped in front of the nest, beginning to set up the explosives in front of it. Before she started setting the explosives, however, she made sure to grab a small dose of the matter for herself. For science reasons.

"W-What?" Lazlo continued to stutter in his words, keeping his eyes set on R and C as more people started coming out of the portal. One of the was a man dressed in red with a sniper rifle.

"What's going?!" Raj voiced what he and his friends were thinking right now, looking like he seconds away from having a heart attack. His and Lazlo's words shifted R and C's attention to them.

"Don't worry. It's alright. The cavarly is here." R smiled at him, chuckling internally as she knew how Q would react to her quoting a character from Overwatch.

"Not the time for this crap, R!" C rolled her eyes at her. Her tone grew gentler as she set her eyes on Lazlo, Raj and Clam, "But yes. Don't worry. We're here to help. Stay here with us and you'll be safe."

"O-Okay..." Lazlo replied, feeling safer all of a sudden as his friends slowly pushed themselves into walk and found themselves closer to him. All three of them looked at R and C. They could tell their words were genuine and it was more than enough to make them feel safe. R shifted her gaze away from them and looked into the city where something caught her attention.

"C. Look." She said C, pointing towards whatever she had just noticed as C looked in the direction R was pointing towards right now and saw the same creature which attacked Lazlo again. Only this time this creature had wings and was flying before it was taken down by a YoRHa flying unit, "He already has the flying guys out."

The glasses wearing woman sighed upon seeing this, "They must have come from the nests in the city."

R sighed, "Yeah..."

"What? You mean to tell us he has more types of whatever it was?!" Raj asked in fear as R and C looked at him silently. It was the only confirmation he needed to get. Needless to say. It made his fear reach new limits.

"Don't worry. We won't let anything get to you or anyone else who will end up here." C reassured him as she shifted her gaze from Raj to the portal just in time to see the Engineer walking out of it.

"Everyone! Start putting down the sentries there and there!" Engineer announced, having just stepped out of the portal with a sentry gun crate in his grasp as he pointed towards the places he wanted his sentries placed at with his free hand. He was followed by several androids from both YoRHa and the Resistance. All of whom were holding either their sentry crates or dispenser creates, "We need to hurry with setting everything up and we can't allow ourselves to make one mistake. This place needs to be defended to the teeth and we can't let anyone created by him get here."

"Yes, sir!" The androids chorused in a perfecy unison almost as if they rehearsed it and went to work straight away. All of them split up across the defense points, setting down the three level sentry guns. Following the instructions they had gotten from the Engineer when they were assigned to his engineering team, all of them began setting up the defensive position by placing the sentry guns and making them active.

D walked out of the portal a second later, letting out an exhale as he looked around himself. It was the first time he had left the watchers HQ since he became the watcher and it felt weird to say the least. If he was honest with himself, he became so used to his usual routine at the watchers HQ that he forgot how it feels like to be in a world which isn't related to it in some way. It almost made him regret not joining his fellow watchers on whatever journeys they were having. Key word almost.

He pushed himself out his thoughts a second later and set his eyes on the androids from the world of NieR as they were hitting the Engineer's sentry guns with various wrenches to make the sentry guns complete their built faster to make this zone a safe zone as quickly as possible. The view of it made him think of the reason why he entered the city through the same portal as R and C in the first place. He looked down at his wristband computer a second later.

"Time to see if my hard work paid off..." He muttered to himself as he opened his wristband computer and typed something on it. R, C and Engineer exchanged glances with each other, silently asking each other what he was doing with his computer.

They got their answer a second later as D finished typing something on his wristband and ten beings were summoned by him. Ten beings which looked completely different from each other. There was a Wolfestein Nazi soldier, a Gardevoir, a MW2 NPC, an anthro fox, a Spec Ops the Line sniper, a RWBY Griffon in his full Griffon form, a cyborg, a man which looked like he came straight out of Matrix, a nicer looking version of Pacifica from Gravity Falls and a King-Yar from Halo.

Engineer pointed towards the personas with a suprised look on his face the moment he laid his eyes on them, "What in the goddamn are they?"

"They're my personas...."  D smiled at him sheepishly as Lazlo, Raj and Clam exchanged glances with each other at the view of the ten personas. All of them were specifically focused on Grian. Lazlo and Clam thought how cool it would be to fly on his back if the circumstances were different and Raj looked terrified to be near him.

Engineer remained weirded out by it, "Okay..."

C raised her brow in suprise as she pointed towards the green pokemon in the group, "Is that a Gardevoir?!"

"So hot..." R muttered under her breath, having never seen a Gardevoir in person before. For her, they looked even hotter in person.

D shifted his gaze to them, "Hey why don't you stop asking questions and defend!"

Engineer shook his head, "I may have known you for quite some time now after B and Q visited our world but I don't think I will ever get used to the stuff you're presenting..."

D nodded in agreement, "You and me both. Sometimes we even managed to suprise ourselves with our abilities."

Engineer chuckled, "Good know to know, son. Good to know."

D shifted his gaze away from Engineer to his personas and spoke up to them, "Alright. Everyone. It's time. Remember what I explained to you when I performed the final programming on you last night to make sure you will be capable of helping us? The event I had programmed you for is happening right now and we need your help."

The personas remained silent, staring at their creator in a cold almost robotic manner as they waited for his orders. R, C and Engineer once again exchanged glances with each other, having expected them to say or do anything.

"Now I will tell you what I want you to do." D added as he pointed at Feerzo, "Feerzo. You will stay here and will help the Engineer's sentry guns in fighting off whatever will rush towards this position."

He pointed at Feera, "Feera. You will go into the city and help as much as you can with your powers."

He pointed at Ozone, "Ozone. You will do the same as Feera. Put your rifle to good use."

He pointed at Nathan, "Nate. You will go into the city as well and will do everything you can do to help."

He pointed at Relo, "R3700. You will stay here, just like Feerzo and will defend our position with the sniper rifle. We already have one sniper staying here so I think you'll make a good team together."

He pointed at Grian, "Grian. You will help everyone from above. Take care of as much Kaltan's flying soldiers as possible."

He pointed at Cronon, "Cronon. Go into the city and do what you do best."

He pointed at Matriax, "Mat. You will go with Cronon. Use your deadeye as much as you can."

He pointed at Pacifica, "Pacifica. You will stay here and help the medical staff whenever someone injured will appear."

He finished everything off by pointing at Jackie, "Jackie. You will stay here and help R3700 with the sniper related stuff."

Upon uttering his final order to Jackie, his persona reacted to them in an instant. Like perfect robots. Feerzo placed himself between the prepared sentry guns, aiming his MG-42 towards the city as Pacifica did something similiar by moving towards the medical androids while Grian took off into the air and flew towards the city. Matriax, Cronon, Nathan, Ozone and Feera followed his example and rushed towards the city as well. Upon reaching one part of the park, all of them split up with only Matriax and Cronon going together.

D nodded to himself in a satisfied manner, seeing the personas were listening to him and shifted his gaze to R and C, "What?"

"You couldn't bother telling us about it during the planning phase?" C wanted to know why she was finding out about the personas just now.

"I had no idea if I'll manage to them in time for this so I didn't want to get anyone's hopes up." D explained, closing his wristband computer as he summoned his Mosin Nagant. An explosion sounded in the background due to Jackass destroying the nest. Neither he or his fellow watchers paid attention to it, though "I found out I would get all of them done for this last night."

C raised her brow at him, "You still could have told us about it. We could help you in creating them."

"I didn't tell you about this because this project is something very personal to me and I didn't want anyone else working on it." D gave her another explanation.

C nodded in understanding, "Alright."

"Everyone! Is this the safe zone?" A new voice rang through their ears as everyone shfited their direction to the source of it and saw the Scooby Gang standing in front of the sentry guns and Feerzo.

A YoRHa android with a wrench in her hand nodded in confirmation, "Yes. You came to the right place. Go ahead."

"Alright. Come on gang." Fred said, keeping Daphne's arm wrapped around him to help her walking as he and his friends walked past the sentry guns and found themselves in a growing safe zone. He looked around himself and saw R and C close to Lazlo, Raj and Clam, "Hey. I'm sorry but we need help. Our friend here twisted her ankle while we were running away."

C glanced at them, "Of course. We'll get her help in a moment."

"How do you know about this place? We haven't announced it to your city, yet." R asked with her brow raised questioningly as C nodded to herself upon hearing this, knowing it was time to make a declaration to the city and stepped away to prepare herself to make it.

"B and Q told us about it." Fred explained.

R nodded in understanding and asked him about the said two watchers, "B and Q? What about them. Where they are right now?"

"The last time we saw them, they were with the Powerpuff Girls." Velma explained, "A2, 2B and 9S were with them as well."

"Alright. Good to know they're okay. From what 6O told me, things got bad there when Kaltan was discovered." R once again nodded in understanding, looking relieved this information as she smiled at the Scooby Gang, "Now let's get your friend treatment she needs." She turned towards Devola and Popola, "Devola! Popola. Can one of you move here? We have someone here who needs medical attention."

"I'll go help them, sister." Popola reacted to it instantly and informed her sister about it.

"Alright. Go ahead. I'll keep setting everything up here." Devola nodded in understanding as Popola nodded back at her and went to help the Scooby Gang with Daphne. She froze for a second as she locked eyes with the least person she wanted to see right now. The said person was D. She shook her head a second later, knowing she has work to do now and glanced away from D as she didn't want to look at him.

D shook his head, feeling uncomfortable by Devola being here and glanced at R, "You know. I think I'm gonna go help out in the city..."

R raised her brow, "What? Why are you changing your mind now."

"I just feel I'll help out there more." D explained as he wasted no time and pushed himself into run towards the city before R could ask him more about it.

R sighed, shaking her head as she glanced at Devola. Something in the back of her mind was telling her D's sudden change of mind came because of her. The female watcher shifted her attention from D running off into the city a second later and glanced at Popola who had just approached the Scooby Gang.

"I'm gonna go take her with me. Alright?" Popola asked as Fred nodded in understanding and handed Daphne to her. Popola gently wrapped her arm around her, beginning to led her away and glanced at Pacifica, "Could you help me with her? Please?"

"Can I go with you?" Fred asked in worry for Daphne as Pacifica nodded and walked over to Popola and Daphne.

Popola glanced at him and gave him her permission, "It's just a simple wound but you can come with us if you're worried. Just watch out and don't interrupt us when we'll be patching her up. Okay?"

"Okay." Fred nodded at her and glanced at Scooby, Shaggy and Velma who nodded at him, giving him his permission to go with them. Fred, Daphne, Popola and Pacifica left a second later, leaving Scooby, Shaggy and Velma who left along with Lazlo, Raj and Clam to catch some breath.

R watched the citizens of the CN City splitting up for their own stuff and nodded to herself, knowing there isn't much she can do for them now other than making sure they'll remain safe here until the fight with Kaltan is over. She shifted her gaze to C a second later, having lost the sight of her for a moment and saw her fellow watcher standing in front of a device the engineers from NieR created.

"Are you doing this now?" She asked her, knowing exactly what C wanted to do with it. The sole why they asked the androids to create it was because they wanted to use to explain the citizens of this city their situation.

"Yes. You know it will be for the best if we won't our time with it.." C nodded in confirmation, picking up the microphone part of the device as she prepared herself to make her declaration.

"Yeah. I know. I'll leave with it." R said said in understanding, allowing her friend to do what she had intended on doing.

C once again nodded at her as she lifted the microphone up to her mouth and clicked it. He loud voice afterwards spoke, "Everyone. I know you're confused and scared because of what's happening right now and I can't blame you for feeling in such a way. I'm making this declaration to inform you about what is happening right now.  My name is C and the monster all of you have seein the sky is called Kaltan. He's a multversial being who wants to consume your world to become stronger."

She cleared her throat a bit as she went further into her words, "Don't worry, though. Me and my friends are beings known as the watchers of the multiverse. Us alongside our allies arrived at your world to stop him. I'm speaking right now directly from the park where we are setting up a safe zone for everyone who will be unable to fight off Kaltan's soldiers. If you want to be safe for the entirety of our fight against him, come to the park and we will keep you safe."

She finished her declaration by saying, "However, if you are someone who will be able to fight off his soldiers, we'll be more than happy to accept your help. Don't engage Kaltan directly, though as will be a certain death for you. If you want to help us, you can help us by destroying the nests he had created out of the yellowish matter which fell out of his body. The more nests you will destroy, the more of the watchers will be able to go directly to Kaltan and fight him."

C pulled the microphone away from her mouth upon uttering what she wanted to say to the residents of the CN City. She nodded to herself, feeling satisfied as she felt like she had said everything she had to say here. She shifted her attention to R a second later who kept staring at her. R smiled at her, giving her a thumbs up, silently telling her she did a good job. C smiled back at her but her smile faded away a second later. She walked away from the device a second later, heading off to continue setting up the safe zone and R followed her.

Sniper shifted his gaze between R and C, seeing both of them walking away to help the Engineer and the others with setting everything up and nodded to himself as he knew it was time for him to do his job as well. He pushed himself towards the sniping position behind the sentry guns a second later and stumbled upon Relo on his way there. He gave him a pat on the shoulder, ushering him to follow him. Relo did what he was ordered a second later.

"So, what's yer name?" Sniper asked upon seeing Relo follow him as Relo took out a piece of paper and pen and wrote something in it. Once he was done with writing, he showed the paper to Sniper as the latter observed the writing that said, "...R3700?"

Relo nodded in confirmation, having no other way of replying to him as Sniper looked at him with a weirded out expression on his face. He stopped in his tracks a second later, having just reached his sniping position and Relo hid the paper with his name away and followed Sniper's example by stopping right next to him.

"That's a weird name, mate. Get a better one." Sniper told him, aiming his sniper rifle at one of the flying creatures and pulling the trigger to gun it down. Relo followed his example, aiming it upwards as he pulled the trigger and took out one of the flying creatures. Sniper glanced at him, looking impressed by how quickly R3700 took the flying creature out as Jackie walked over to them with his plasma rifle and began sniping down the flying creatures as well.

C's loud declaration rang throughout the city and it reached everyone who was in it. It included Kaltan as well. He  heard it as well in the place he had settled himself down after spreading his nests across the city, wanting for his soldiers to take care of their job and waiting for someone to approach im. He knew it would happen sooner or later and waited for it patiently. He didn't attack the watchers directly as he wanted them to approach him. If they would be tired or weakened from fighting his soldiers, then it would make it easier for him to kill all of them.

C's friends and allies heard it as well, seeing their plan with the safe zone was getting put in motion without much trouble. Needless to say. It made their morale go up a bit as they knew this part of the plan was going according to what they had planned. If it was going according to the plan, then there was no reason the rest of the plan won't go according to it. Right?

The citizens of the city, no matter if they were a civilian, a hero or a villain or whether they were capable of fighting off the invaders or not heard it. Hearing the explanation of their situation by C and hearing how people had arrived here to help them left them hopeful and less afraid of their situation as the watchers definitely knew how to fight Kaltan if they arrived here specifically to kill him. Right?

"Titans go!" Robin of Teen Titans declared, having been one of the heroes from the city who decided to join the battle instead of waiting for it to end in the safe zone. His team wasted no time and rushed into the battle. Beast Boy had turned into a tiger and leaped towards the charging soldier in front of him, bitting into it as Cyborg, Raven and Starfire all readied their powers, "Look for the nests! Destroy them as soon as you will lay your eyes on them!"

"We're on it!" Cyborg voiced his understanding of the order, blasting a charging soldier with a blue energy coming out of his arm and leaving nothing out of it.

Teen Titans weren't the only ones from the city who decided to join the battle. Many other residents of the CN City joined the battle as well in order to defend their home. The Powerpuff girls remained in the sky, fighting off the flying soldiers ever since they had split up from the investigation and were doing their best to kill as many of them as they could in their search of the Kaltan nests.

Ben Tennyson was among them, using his watch to turn into the four armed alien and used his many libs to grab as many of his opponents as possible and crush them in his grasp while Dexter summoned a massive robot and jumped into it, using all it's functions to do fight off as many soldiers as he could. They were joined by the likes of Xiaolin monks, Juniper Lee, Robotboy, Coop and Jamie in their Mecha, Samurai Jack, the Scotsman, Grim and Codename Kids Next door. All of them were just one of the many brave heroes who decided to step in and help the watchers and their allies in fighting off Kaltan.

The heroes weren't the only ones which joine the battle, though. Some of the villains joined it as well. Despite being the bad guy, this world was still their home and they knew what it would meant a certain death for them if Kaltan won. Aku was one of them squashed a group of the Kaltan soldiers with his massive hand, turning them into minature versions of himself and had them fight for him instead of their creator.

Jack Spicer had joined the battle as well, despite being scared out of his mind and his Jackbots had invaded the sky and began fighting off as many of of the flying soldiers as they could with many of the robots perishing in the process while Mandark had jumped into his own robot, fighting off the invaders alongside Dexter as the two rivals agreed for a temporary truce between them to make sure whoever had just invaded their world will be defeated. They were joined by the villains of the likes of Mojo Jojo, Chase Young, Him, and Katz.

Number Four was one of the heroes who decided to join the battle, being a member of the Codename Kids Next Door after all and was on his way to regroup with his friends after receiving a transmission from Number One who assined a meeting spot for all of them. All of them were busy doing their own stuff around the time the attack first happened and had to regroup if they wanted to help out the defenders in some way. 

He ran past an alleyway, taking a look into it as he noticed a growing nest inside of it. He shook his head, turning away from it and focused himself on running forward. Despite him having just found one of the nests, he left it behind as he had nothing he could destroy it with. He didn't worry about about it, though as he knew he had nothing to worry about for as long as he won't stumble upon any of the monsters which come out of it.

What he didn't have to worry about quickly made itself known to him, though as he stumbled upon one of Kaltan's soldiers when he happened to be halfway through to his destination. The soldier charged towards him, letting out a growl as Number Four began backing away due to him being unable to fight it off because he had nothing to defend himself with. His problem got solved as second later as K came rushing towards the soldier from behind. She used the wall next to her to leap herself up a bit and kicked the soldier in the head, knocking it down as Number Four watched what just happened with a suprised look on his face.

"Holy crap..." The blonde haired boy uttered in awe as K stomped on the soldiers's head with her super weapon which happene dto be a powerful pair of kicking shoes, finishing it off.

K shifted her gaze to him, "You okay, kid?"

Number Four nodded at her, "Y-Yeah."

"Good." K nodded back with a satisfied look on her face, "Now head to the park. My friends are creating a safe zone there in case you haven't hear the declaration. You'll be safe."

"O-Okay." Number Four replied in understanding, remaining awe filled by the display of K's skills he had just witnessed. He pointed ahead of them a second later, showing her the direction of the nest he had noticed earlier, "Go forward a bit and turn to the right. You'll find one of the nests there."

"Thanks. Now go." K replied, making mental note out of the information she had gotten from him right now. Not wasting any time, he pushed himself into run and ran off to do regroup with the rest of the KND. He passed by T who walked over to K and stopped next to her.

T looked at her with a playful look on her face as he gave her a pat on her back, "Jeez. You're such a badass, Yumi. That guy didn't stood a chance~."

K glared at him, "Shut up and focus, idiot!"

"What's wrong with me complimenting you?" T raised his brow with the same playful look remaining on his face.

K opened her mouth, wanting to argue with him but her words died in her throat after seeing a group of Kaltan's soldiers rushing into their view and charging towards them. She instantly made sure to let T know about this, "Maybe if you actually focused on what's important right now, then you'd know they're coming our way."

"Relax. I got this." T replied as he pointed his super weapon which happened to be a toolgun towards the charging opponents. Not wasting anytime, he clicked his gun many times and at least a dozen of explosive barrels in front of them. 

T shifted his gaze away from the barrels,  glancing at K for a second and smirking at her as K glared at him again. He shifted his gaze back to the barrels a second later. Just as he was about to make the barrels explode, a shot rang behind him. The bullet went flying past them and hit the barrel in the middle, making the said barrel explode. This single explosion of the barrel created a massive chain of explosion which spread across the street in the matter of seconds, leaving a good portion of it destroyed and in flames.

T and K looked ahead of themselves as they watched everything from where they stood, seeing how all of the soldiers were killed by the explosion. The said soldiers didn't possess any threat to them anymore as there weren't any left and began to question themselves who fired the shot. Just as they began to question themselves about it, another wave of the soldiers came rushing through the smoke caused by the explosion of the barrels.

They didn't have to worry about the soldiers doing anything to them as the Night Raid with the addition of Esdeath made themselves known to them and rushed past them into the battle. The ground in front of everyone began to cover itself in ice on the courtesy of Esdeath and the ice reached the soldiers a few seconds later, freezing the soldiers' feet and leaving them unable to move. She partially took care of the fire caused by the chain explosion of the barrels as well. The Night Raid used their frozen state to their advantage and took all of them out before they could free each other from ice.

"INCURSIO!" Bulat was the only exception as he still had to get himself ready by declaring this loudly declared loudly and his armor began covering his body in an instant. His head was covered in a helmet that's eyes shined bright yellow. It was only a matter of time before his body was covered in his white and gray armor. 

K raised her brow at him, "You couldn't have done that earlier?"

"I waited for the right time to do this." Bulat explained with his voice a bit different due to his armor.

"Fine." K replied, not wanting to argue about it and shifted her attention to the Night Raid who had just finished killing the stunned soldiers.

"Is that everyone?" Wave asked as he looked around herself in an attemot of locating more of them.

Kurome nodded in confirmation, "From this group, yeah."

Lubbock pulled his hand away from the soldier's body in disgust, "Ew. The hell are they made of?"

Sheele shifted her gaze to him, "This is what concerns you?"

"What? Just saying!" Lubbock replied.

Leone pulled her claws out of the body and winked at K, "K~. Remember that I'm still waiting for that kiss."

K glared at her, "You try it again and I'm gonna give you a black eye again."

"Alright. Alright." Leone chuckled, getting herself into a standing position and wiping her hands  on her clothes.

K rolled her eyes at Leone's tone and shifted her gaze to Sheele, "By the way, Sheele. Thanks for shooting the barrels a moment ago."

"You don't have to do it, though." T added, "I would do it myself."

Sheele raised her brow in confusion, "What do you mean? It wasn't me."

T raised his brow, "What?"

"If that wasn't you, then who was it?" K wanted to know.

 "One of those guys over there." Sheele replied, pointing behind her as T and K looked in the direction she was pointing towards. Upon laying their eyes in this direction, they saw Matriax and Cronon standing there, the former wielding a dual pistols and the latter wielding a chainsaw. After seeing they had been noticed by T and K's group, the duo moved towards all of them.

K raised her brow, having never seen either of them before, "Who are these two?"

"I'm asking myself the same thing, Yumi." T replied. He had to admit, though. Matriax looked like he came straight out of a Matrix movie.

Lubbock raised their brow, "Wait. You don't know who they are?"

"No." T shook his head.

"This is the first time I've seen either of them." K added as Matriax and Cronon stopped in front of them, looking they were waiting for them to do something. She looked at them questioningly, "Who are you people?"

Matriax and Cronon remained silent, not doing or saying anything to answer this question.

K furrowed her brows at them, "Um, hello? Are you there? Who are you two? Why are you so silent. Hello?"

"I don't think you will get anything out of them, Yumi." T stated, "If they could answer, then they would probably do it long before."

K rolled her eyes, "Whatever. Let's just go..."

"What about these two?" T asked as he pointed at Matriax and Cronon, "I don't think we have to worry about them due to the pistol guy shooting the barrels earlier."

K once again rolled her eyes, "Fine. They can tag along. But they'll be under your care if something goes down or they mess anything up. If they'll turn against us, then we'll kill them and I'll kick your ass for telling me to give them a chance."

T shrugged, "Fair enough."

K pushed herself into walk, moving further down the street. Everyone followed her straight away as she pointed at the alleyway on their right, "Everyone. After I helped Number Four, he told me he noticed a nest in that alleyway. Someone should go destroy there and destroy."

"Alright. I'm on it. I'll place a few dynamits on it and nothing will be left of it." T replied as he increased his pace to reach the alleyway faster.

"Yeah. It was what I had in mind." K replied. From the tone of her voice, everyone could tell she had something on her mind. It made T stop in his tracks for a second.

Akame looked at her questioningly, "What's on your mind, K?"

"We will split up into two groups." K voiced what she wanted to say, "One group will go with T and will destroy the nest and the other one will go with me and will advance further towards Kaltan's location. This way it will make everything faster for us."

"Alright. Sounds good to me. Who..." T's voice was cut off by a growl in the distance. Everyone looked in the direction of it and saw Kaltan's soldiers rushing out of the said alleyway and several more rushing towards them down the street.

Just as T was about to say anything about it or Esdeath was about to repeat her move with freezing the gound, Cronon charged forward with his revving chainsaw in ready. Upon meeting his target halfway through, Cronon cut through it's chest with the chainsaw. The soldier's body jerked violently against the chainsaw. The chainsaw continues it's relentless murder, sawing through the soldier's midsection with brutal efficiency.

Once Cronon was done with this soldier, he kicked it's body away from his chainsaw and quickly moved towards the next one. The soldier swung it's arms at Cronon, intending to catch him, but Cronon was quicker than it. He sawed through it, cutting it in the half in a gruesome fashion and Cronon remained unbothered by it. Shifting his gaze to the next soldier, he was about to take care of it, but Matriax did his job for him by firing one of his pistol and killed the soldier with a shot to the head. 

"I like him." Esdeath smirked at the way Cronon took care of his enemies as Matriax rushed towards Cronon, intending to take care of more soldiers from the closer range. Cronon continued what he was doing as well. Even with Matriax's help, there were still more monsters for him to kill and he intended to use this chainsaw on all of them.

"Not the time to say what about your likes, Esdeath." K told her as she pointed at the general, Akame, Leone, Kurome, Wave and Bulat and motioned to them to follow her as she charged forward, "Everyone! Let's go! We don't have time to waste!"

"Fine. Let's have some fun." Esdeath replied as she followed K with the rest of her team, "Once this is all over, I'm getting laid." 

"Not interested in your desires!" K replied, not wanting to hear about it as Akame nodded in agreement and Leone smirked. The others didn't show any notable reactions.

T set his eyes on K as she ran past him, "Yumi."

K stopped in her tracks for a second and looked over her shoulder at him, "What?"

"Good luck. Look out for yourself out there." T replied. There was no teasing or playfulness in his tone. His wish for K to be safe was genuine.

"I will. You'll be safe too, idiot." K's gaze and tone softened a bit at his genuine words when she gave him her answer, getting a smile out of T in the process. She afterwards pushed herself into run again and followed her team as they moved along the street, taking out everything in their way as T, Matriax, Cronon, Lubbock, Sheele, Chelsea and Sussurro moved into the alleway together to destroy the nest.

Anemone gritted her teeth, firing her machine rifle towards the upcoming waves of Kaltan's soldiers like her life depended on it as she knew it was the case here due to the amount of Kaltan's soldiers they were fighting off right now. Upon stepping out of their portal and moving into the city with everyone who was placed under his command for this operation, she and her team made sure to to take care of anything which stood in their way of them fulfilling their part of the job.

Despite them stumbling upon some problems in the form of the ambushes and charges by Kaltan's soldiers, she could tell she and her team were doing a good job now as they managed to fight off everything they threw at them even if they stumbled upon  difficulties every now and then. They even managed to destroy two of Kaltan's many nests with Arya and Baylis help as both of them were her trusted explosion experts from the Resistance. Heavy and Medic who were assigned to her team were a great help as well as Heavy's minigun was mowing through Kaltan's soldiers like a hot knife through butter.

Their luck unfortunely run out when they entered one street where two nests happened to be formed. Due to there being two nests on the street, the number of Kaltan's soldiers on the street was massive and counting them would take a long time. She and her team didn't got a chance to plan out a way to approach them as the soldiers noticed them entering the street straight away and charged at them the moment they laid their eyes on them.

Having been faced with no other choice, Anemone and her team opened fire at the charging soldiers with hopes of taking them out and fighting their way to the nests. It proved itself to be futile in this situation, though as the soldiers kept coming at them due to more of them coming out of the nests. This in addition of the soldiers rushing in from the other parts of the town was not helping them in any way. At this point,  all of them were doing everything they could not to get overhelmed by the constant growing numbers of Kaltan's soldiers around them.

"Hold the line!" Anemone shouted, unloading everything she had onto the charging soldiers, Even though she had already taken out more of Kaltan's soldiers than she could count on this street, it didn't matter as they just kept coming and coming from every possible directions, "We must create an opening to allow Denki and Petunia to plant the explosives 

"Don't let them get through our lines!" Vergil added, standing next to his leader as he reloaded his machine rifle and went back to what he was doing before reloading it.

"You baby men! Fight me like men, cowards!" Heavy added his own part as well, putting countless bullets from his beloved Sasha in the soldiers.

Baylis shook his head, "Dammit! This is pointless! There's too many of them here and they can keep coming out of the nests! We're going to run out of ammo before we'll even get close to the nest!"

"We need a new game plan." Arya nodded in agreement.

Vergil shifted his gaze to them, "What new plan? The moment we'll stop firing at them, we'll get overruned!"

"What are we going to..." Baylis' voice was cut off as something flew above their heads. He and a few others looked up and saw one of the aircraft his world had provided the watchers for this operation.

What caught his attention about it was someone jumping out of the aircraft. He'd normally question if that was safe to do but this someone must have been their aid so he was not going to complain about it. The said someone was a man in a green armor. He was followed by three more figures who were all women. The three women jumped out of the aircraft as well before the aircraft flew away towards the other part of the city. 

Baylis raised his brow, asking himself who this was as Anemone, Heavy and Medic glanced up and smiled upon recognizing those four people as V, I, J and the Doom Slayer. She ordered her team to cease fire, not wanting to risk shooting her aid as the Doom Slayer landed on the street a second later, leaving a small crater underneath him. V, I and J landed on the ground a second later, all of them holding their weapons in ready for battle.

V revved her chainsaw, having created a small crater underneath her upon landing on the ground as she had her armor on herself. She called this armor "The Doom Woman". There wasn't much she could say about this armor aside from it being a more feminine version of the Doom Slayer's armor. The color of it was different as well as her armor was painted red, making herself appear more threatening to her opponents.

The Doom Slayer cocked his shotgun with his knife sticking out his wrist, ready for battle and charged towards the charging Kaltan's soldiers which remained unbothered by his threatening aura. The three female watchers followed him and Anemone ordered her team to open fire again. All of whom followed her orders without hesitation. They used the arrival of V, I, J and the Doom Slayer as their chance to advance towards the nests as well.

The Slayer reached his first opponent a second later and blew it in half with his Super Shotgun. He didn't stop with this single soldier, though and blew one soldier in half after another as Kaltan's soldiers remained unbothered by it and continued to come at him. Swapping his favourite weapon out for HAR, he began racking up headshot after headshot as the 50. caliber bullets tore through the bullies of Kaltan's soldiers.

He followed everything up by unleashing a barrage of missiles at the rest of them who were all messily blown apart. It wasn't over, though as another group of Kaltan's soldiers came charging at him. Upon seeing them, the Slayer drew his beloved shotgun again and blasted them again while grabbing one of them and ripping it's head out. He afterwards put his weapon away and threw a fist that went straight through the face of a Saber.

V smirked underneath her helmet, loving the carnage the Doom Slayer was doing right in front of her as she didn't want to get left behind her friend. Keeping her chainsaw close to herself in case she'll have to use her weapon, she launched herself at the soldier in front of her and slammed her foot down on it's ankle, making it unable to move before grabbing it by the sides of it's head and ripping it out.

Throwing the head away, she found herself attacked by the next soldier which tried to take a hold of her but it was futile for it. It's attempts came to an end when V brought down a downard chop upon it's skull. The sound of running made her glanced ahead of her and saw several of Kaltan's soldiers charging at her from the road ahead of her. V smirked herself, pushing her into run towards the small army of Kaltan's army without a hint of fear in herself.

She pulled out her shotgun, attaching the Explosive Shot mod and launched a grenade at the charging group. Just as the grenade exploded and took out a good portion of the group in the process, she leaped herself into air.. She around pivoted mid-air, keeping her shotgun in ready and put her weapon to good use a second later due to her knowing she still had to take care of the leftovers, though. She blasted the surviving members of the group she was facing right now with her shotgun, taking them out without any problem as she descended on the ground.

I watched everything from where she stood, observing everything V did with a blush in her face in awe of everything. She was taken out of her frozen and blushing state a second later, though as J gave her a pat on her shoulder upon rushing past her. Shaking her head and knowing she had to focus, she pulled out her bow and readied her arrows. Seeing a group of Kaltan's soldiers charging towards her, she pulled out an explosive arrow and loaded her bow with it.

She let out a deep breath a second later and loosened her arrow, releasing it towards her enemies. The soldier in the middle of the group was hit with the arrow a second later, being knocked down upon the impact of the arrow hitting it. It wasn't over, though as the arrow exploded a second later. The explosion was big, taking out the majority of the charging group in the process.

Upon seeing this and seeing the leftovers of the group still charging at them, J knew it was her job to take care of them as she wasted no time and used her super weapon to summon two blades, one for each hand. Seeing the Kaltan's soldiers had shifted their attention from I to her, she put this to her advantage and began swinging her blades around and began slicing and cutting down everyone in her way as if it was nothing. This in addition of the support she had received from I and her trusty bow allowed her to take care of all the soldiers in a quick and efficient way.

Anemone stopped firing her gun a moment later and looked around herself questioningly upon seeing the group of four in front of her kill the last soldier from the wave she and the rest of her team were facing, "Is that everyone?"

Medic looked around himself, seeing the street was indeed empty now and nodded in confirmation, "Jawohl!"

"Arya! Baylis! Destroy the nest now!" Anemome voiced her order in an instant upon hearing this as the two androids in question nodded in understanding of the new order and moved towards the two nests, pulling out their explosives on their way to it.

Just as the two androids reached their destination and were about to start planting the explosives on them, the ground below them began to shake violently. It didn't happen to only them. It happened for everyone else present on this street as well. They got their answer to what was responsible for all this commotion a second later as they saw another group of Kaltan's soldiers charging towards them.

What caught their attention, however, were the soldiers in front of the group. The three soldiers looked much different from all the soldiers they had stumbled upon so far. They were massive. They were much more burly and their arms were far more toned. No one from V's group or from Anemome's team was suprised by their appearance, having been made of them when R and C debriefed them on everything. They were called this type of soldier "Tank" due to the similiarities it shared to the enemy of the same name in Left 4 Dead.

Their knowledge of this soldier didn't make anything better for them, though. Everyone mutually agreed this type of Kaltan's soldier was the last type all of them wanted to face. The fact that there was three of them charging towards right now made everything much worse for them. Facing one would be hard. Facing three of them all at the same time was something most of them didn't want to imagine.

"You have got to be fucking kidding me!" Baylis commented upon laying his eyes on the three Tanks on the front of the group.

"Give us a breath!" Arya added, having stopped herself in the middle of her job and intended to step away from it due to the group with three Tanks getting closer to them.

"Everyone. Provide them covering..." Anemone's order was cut off by the Doom Slayer charging towards the group of Kaltan's soldiers like it was nothing, intending on taking care of them and the tanks in the process. V instantly followed his example and followed him into battle.

"V! Wait for a moment...!" I shouted in worry upon seeing her friend rush to fight the three tanks without consulting it with them. J stayed silent, not feeling worried for V as she trusted her to have a plan right now. After all, V was killing demons with the Slayer as a hobby.

V paid no attention to her worried scream, knowing what had to be done right now as she grabbed her chainsaw again and clicked a button on it. Upon clicking it, she pulled her chainsaw closer to her armor and the two become one.  Once her chainsaw vanished from her grasp after becoming one her armor, she continued to advance towards the tanks at the front of the charging wave of Kaltan's soldiers.

As she neared her destination, she didn't do anything and just kept running. She didn't pull out a gun or throw a grenade. She kept herself focused on reaching her target as a new armor slowly began to form around her body. J and I exchanged glances with each other, silently asking themselves what was going on right now and the Doom Slayer didn't react to it in any way, having already seen this when he first met V.

V reached her target a few seconds later, finding herself directly in front of one of the tanks and the tank instantly reacted to the female watchers in front it. It grabbed V just as her new armor was on the final stretch of forming itself around her body and V just allowed it to happen to her. She didn't do anything to stop it from grabbing her due to it being a part of her plan. The tank afterwards threw her into the group of normal soldiers who tackled her to the ground, beginning to beat her up and do who knows what else to her.

 "V...!" I exclaimed in worry, looking like she was on the verge of tears now as she pushed herself into charge

I and J stopped in their tracks a second later, though as V revealed herself to be fine to them and the others. The female watcher let out a battle cry as she bursted out of the group of soldiers. Her new armor was now fully formed on her as well. It wasn't a regular armor like the armor she wore a moment earlier, though. Three chainsaws were sticking out of it. One was sticking out of V's head and the other two would be sticking out of her arms/hands.

The Tank which threw V into the group of normal soldiers stopped in it's tracks, leaving the other two charging and turned around to face V. It growled, slamming it's massive hands against the ground and charged at V. V replied to this instantly. She jumped out from the pile of zombies and and leaped towards the the Tank. She reached her target a few seconds later and attacked it by cutting into it's left arm, causing blood to splatter everywhere.

Her opponent growled again as V dug deeper into it's arm, almost separating it from the rest of it's body in the process. She jumped back from the Tank a second later, finishing her work with her arm. The Tank growled at her, showing no signs of pain as it used it's other arm to grab V and tossed her away from it into the wall. V fell down to the floor, landing on it without any problem as the zombies moved towards her, surrounding her in the process.

V didn't think much of it, though. She set her eyes on the soldier in front of her and swung one of her chainsaw arms at it. She cut right out it and tossed it aside before moving towards the second soldier in his way. She swung one of her chainsaw arms at it and cut it through it's back, cutting it's body into two pieces. She attacked another soldier right after, cutting it in the half like it was nothing to her.

The soldiers standing between V and the the Tank Devil blocked V's way to her target. Not wasting any time, she started fighting them. She kicked one soldier away from her and swung one of her chainsaw arms at it's pal, cutting it through it stomach. He pushed himself into run again, making her way to her target as she made sure to cut through every zombie she had come across in her way.

The one armed Tank was not pleased by what was happening right now, slamming it's remaining hand against the street in the process as it charged at V in one final attempt at taking her out. V smirked to herself, knowing it was a foolish move on her opponent's part and leaped herself towards him in order to get closer to it. What she intended to do now was going to be her finishing move on her opponent and she knew she would enjoy it a lot.

She reached her opponent a second later with her chainsaw head aimed right towards it's head. The female watchers roared as she stabbed the Tank  through it's forehead with her chainsaw head and began cutting through it. The Tank roared as V cut through it deeper into it. It attempted to grab her with it's arm to stop her from killing her but it was futile as V used her other chainsaw arm to cut through it as well, leaving it assaulted in both sides.

Her opponent stopped roaring a second later as V cut it in the half, killing it off for good. V looked around herself after killing the the first Tank of the group, allowing herself to take a good look at the soldiers around her. Her chainsaw arms reved up as she started swinging them at the soldiers around her, cutting through every soldier which got a bit too close to him. She continued killing all soldiers around her, smirking underneath her armor as she did so.

I, J, Anemone, Heavy, Medic, Vergil, Baylis and Arya watched everything from where they stood, finding themselves stunned by what they were seeing right now as words couldn't describe how suprised they were by what they were seeing right now. The characters were suprised by it, because they were not aware V was capable of doing something like this. The watchers were suprised by it, because even they weren't aware of V's chainsaw having such a function. The only one who wasn't suprised and was doing something right now was the Doom Slayer who fought of his own share of enemies.

"She's so cool..." I muttered in awe, looking like she was seconds away from getting knocked out by her own nosebleed due to how cool and badass the scene in front of her was. She wasn't the only one who shared this sentiment of V being cool. Buttercup who happened to be flying by looked down and observed everything from the sky, leaving herself awe filled.

J grabbed her by her shoulder and shook her a bit, "Stay focused! Now it isn't the time!"

I refused to listen to her and remained in her own daydreaming world, "Do you think asking her for a kiss after the battle would too much?"

"Focus! You know she won't agree for it!"" J repeated herself as Buttercup shifted her gaze away from V, fousing herself back on the battle going on in the sky against Kaltan's flying soldiers and flied off to take out more of them than she did already. As she flew further towards the nearest flying soldier, she flew past F who was using his Elytra to take out as many of the flying soldiers with his diamond sword.

Anemone pushed herself out her suprised state a second later and shifted her gaze between her team, "Everyone! Open fire at the normal soldiers! Do everything in your power to allow Arya and Baylis to plant the explosives on the nests safely!"

"You heard her! Come on!" Vergil instantly followed his leader's command and aimed his machine rifle at the soldiers in front of him and opened fire. The other androids followed followed his example and opened fire as well. I and Heavy offered their aid as well. I loosened more arrows from her bow as Heavy roared his fired Sasha at the normal soldiers 

Arya and Baylis instantly put this to their advantage and moved towards the nests, intending to finish what they had started earlier as J rushed into the battle to help V and the Slayer, summoning her trusted two blades again. She stabbed one soldier through it's chest with both of her blades at the same time, pushing it on the ground as another soldier approached her from behind. Looking over her shoulder at the soldier, she charged her blades into a hammer and turned around before hitting the soldier in the head with it.

The Slayer pulled out his chainsaw, finding himself surrounded by a group of Kaltan's soldiers with the second Tank from the group having set it's attention to him. He reeved his chainsaw, making it ready for what he intended to use it for and what followed could be called nothing but destruction. TIme seemed to slow down for him as he sliced through the soldiers like it was nothing for him, slicing several heads off in the process.

Time seemed to become a blur on him as he continued to take care of all the soldiers around him, leaving everyone who dared to approach him dead. He put his chainsaw away after a brief moment and grabbed a soldier by the sides of it's head, tearing him straight down and following it by shoving his fist the chest of another soldier before back fisting the head of the one next to him. He dove into the group around him, ripping off their heads and limbs like it was nothing to him.

It was when he found himself directly in front of the second Tank. The Tank acted unbothered by the carnage the Slayer left behind him and charged at the man in the green armor. The armored man didn't stop even for a second and charged at the Tank while pulling out his Gauss Cannon. Him pulling out this gun turned out to be a jackpot as the Tank slowed down in it's pursuit of the Slayer when it was hit by it with the soldiers who were unfortunate enough to be behind him being railed into oblivion. 

Using the Tank's slowed down and wounded state ot his advantage, the Slayer switched back to his chainsaw as he intended to finish the beast off with it. He revved it and cut the Tank right through it's chest with it. The Tank roared, trying to grab the Doom Slayer with it's arms to stop whatever he was doing to him, but never got the chance to do as the Slayer already knew he had a perfect way of finishing it off.

Keeping his grasp on his chainsaw with his left hand, he pulled out his Super Shotgun with his right hand and fired a single finishing shot at the Tank. The shell hit the Tank right in the head, blowing it's head out and leaving the beast dead. Upon making sure the Tank was dead, the Slayer pulled his chainsaw out of it as V and J stopped next to him. The two exchanged glances and nods with him before all three of them charged into battle again.

"Two of them are down! One to go!" Anemone noted what just happened to her team, wanting to know all of them were aware of the two Tanks being dead as Heavy and Medic exchanged glances and nodded, knowing what to do now. Both of them pushed themselves into run and made their way to the last Tank, making their way past the many deceased bodies of Kaltan's soldiers in the process.

"Charge me doctor!" Heavy shouted upon finding himself close enough to the last Tank as Medic instantly reacted to this and clicked on his medigun, turning on the ubercharge.

Heavy dropped Sasha on the ground, letting out a battle cry as he was covered in the red ubercharge. He slammed his fists together and charged at the Tank with his fists raised. Tank growled at him, keeping it's advance towards him as it and Heavy met themselves half-way through their way to each other. Heavy glared at the Tank angrily, doing his best to hold back the Tank's strike at him. 

After a second, he headbutted the Tank and the beast took one step backwards because of the force of the punch. Having just created an opening for himself, Heavy wasted no time and began his assault on his new opponent. He brawler began sending countless punches towards the Tank, directing one punch after another with his fists a rapid manner as the Tank took all of his punches, making it out like it was nothing at first but Heavy and Medic could see the beast was slowly begin to get affected by them.

It was when something else started to happen. The Tank started to slowly slide backwards from the force of Heavy's punches. The RED member immediately took notice of this, making sure not to lower his guard while doing so. The Tank growled, finding itself sliding backwards more and more with each punch Heavy directed at it. 

The perfect opportunity for it to make it's  move came a second later. Not wasting any time, the Tank swung his fist at Heavy and punched him hard in the face. Heavy had no time to dodge it and was punched right in the face with it. The RED member clenched his teeth, feeling the punch him it in the face even through the ubercharge as the force of it made him stumble one step backwards. It was strong. 

He shrugged it off a second later, though and ignored a bit of pain he felt on his face right now. All the feelings going through him right now made him completely ignore it and made him focus on what was happening right now. The Tank continued with it's assault, seeing what was happening right now as a perfect opportunity for itself. He punched him in the face again just in the right time as Heavy's ubercharge ran out and Heavy stumbled backwards a bit, feeling himself growing slightly dizzy from the force and strenght he had to endure from the Tank's punch. When Heavy was about to direct the next punch towards him, the mercenary put his hand in front of himself in a defensive manner.

Upon blocking the next attack from the Tank, Heavy made sure to make his next move. Letting out a growl, he swung his hand at the Tank and Heavy easily blocked it and headbutted Heavy. Heavyclenched his teeth at the feeling of it, standing his ground as he intended to remain where he stood right now for the upcoming attack he was planning to launch on the Tank. Even if the force of the punch he will be as strong or perharps even stronger than before.

It was when something happened as someone had thrown themselves on the Tank's back. The said someone was Nathan. The fox persona hugged the Tank from behind, using his sharp claws to cut through it's skin. The Tank growled, shifting it's attention to Nathan and began to shake it's body in an attempt of shaking the fox persona off of it like he was some unwanted annoying insect.

Nathan didn't allow himself to be thrown off the back of the Tank, though and continued with his assault. Moving his claws away from it's chest, he moved it up to it's eyes and stabbed it through it with them. The Tank roared, beginning to shake more violently as it was just blinded by Nathan. Nathan kept his claws in it's eyelids, pushing it deeper into it's skull and intending to keep it's attention on it. 

Heavy put Nathan getting the Tank's attention on himself to his advantage, knowing what to do now if he wanted to finish his clash with it and pulled out his shotgun. He cocked it and fired it five times directly at the Tank's stomach, wounding it further and finished everything by aiming it at the Tank's head. Seeing what Heavy was about to do, Nathan pulled his claws out of the Tank's eyelids, leaving it's head out in the open and Heavy pulled the trigger. The shell hit the Tank in the head, destroying it's head and finally killing it.

"Charges set! Move! Move!" Baylis shouted just as the final Tank went down, having just finished setting up the charges on the nest as he turned away from it and began to run away from it not to get caught up in the explosion.

Arya, having finished setting up the charge around the same time, turned away from her nest as well and distanced himself from it. Everyone made sure to keep their distance from them as the bombs exploded, destroying the nests and accomplishing the goal they've been working towards for the last several minutes. Just as the nests were destroyed, V, J and the Doom Slayer finished taking care of the remaining soldiers and the street was left empty of any threats.

Baylis leaned against the wall and let out a relieved sigh, "Holy fucking shit..."

"Things really got bad here." Arya replied, having just made her way back to her fellow androids.

Vergil nodded in agreement, "You're telling me."

Anemone shifted her gaze to I and looked at her gratefully, "Thank you for coming here. I'm sure we would get overhelmed if it wasn't for you."

"No problem." I smiled at her slightly and shifted her gaze to V, J and the Doom Slayer who were coming back to them, making their way past all the deceased soldiers of the soldiers they had just kissed. She couldn't help but blush upon laying her eye son V.

"Baby fox man did good." Heavy nodded at Nathan with an approving manner, loading his shotgun as Nathan stared at him blankly, not reacting to his praise in any way. Heavy raised his brow in confusion because of it.

J looked at V questioningly upon regrouping with the others, "Why didn't you tell us you could make an armor like this out of your chainsaw?"

"I wanted to suprise you and the others a bit." V gave her an honest answer, her voice slightly changed due to her being underneath her armor right now as Heavy made his way to Sasha and picked his gun up from the ground, "From the way I saw you and the others staring at me, I suppose it worked out just fine."

"You bet it did!" I nodded, looking at her with a heavy blush on her face, "You were amazing out there! They didn't stand a chance against you."

"Yeah. Thanks..." V grew slightly uncomfortable due to the way I was looking at her right now.

"Either way. We need to get going." Anemone stated, "Standing here after we took care of those two nests won't do us any good will just waste our time."

"Anemone is right. We need to..." Vergil's words died in his throat as something similiar to a long tongue had just wrapped itself around him. His eyes widened as he found himself lifted up from the ground, "What the...?!"

"Vergil!" Anemone cried out his name with a suprised expression on her face as Vergil wasn't the only one lifted up from the ground. Five other androids were lifted up as well.

Everyone looked up in an instant, wanting to know what was going on right now and located whatever was responsible for it. They saw another type of Kaltan's soldier standing on the roofs above them. The said type had long tongue coming out of their mouths, allowing them to catch their opponent and lift them above the ground with it tightly wrapped around their body, leaving their opponent suffocating and out of breath. All of them called this type the Smoker soldier due to it sharing similiarities to the same character of the same name in Left 4 Dead.

Just as everyone began to come up with ways how to save Vergil and the other five androids from the Smoker soldiers, their thoughts were interrupted by someone coming into the picture as Grian landed on top the Smoker soldier which was holding Vergil, ripping it to shreds with it's massive claws. The Smoker soldier stood no chance against him as Grian took it out in the matter of seconds. The massive Grimm finished his attack off by bitting into it's head and bitting it off and Vergil was freed from it's grasp, causing him to land on the ground.

I saw Grian taking action in taking out the Smoker soldier, despite being slightly suprised by her seeing a Grimm on the roof and knew she had a perfect way of taking care of all the other Smoker soldiers at the same time. She aimed her bow upwards and loosened an arrow. The arrow split itself into a few smallers arrows and all of them went flying towards the remaining long tongue soldiers. The arrows hit the soldiers a second later, taking them out and freeing Vergil and the other trapped androids from their grasp.

"Are you alright?" Anemone asked as she walked over to Vergil and shifted her gaze between him and everyone else who was caught by the Smokers in concern.

"Yeah. I'll be fine." Vergil replied, collecting himself as he picked up his weapon from the ground. The others androids gave her the same reply.

Anemone nodded, looking relieved nothing happened to her subordinates, "Alright. Good."

V shifted her gaze to I and gave her a praise, "Good job I. Your quick thinking did well back there."

"Thank you." I smiled at her, blushing again as she was cheering on the inside. As she continued to cheer on the inside, Grian swallowed whatever remained of the Smoker had taken care off and flew off to fight off more of the flying Soldiers.

J pointed in the direction Grian had flied off into with a questioning look on her face, "...Was that a Grimm?"

"Looks like it." V nodded as Grian flew out of their view.

"Should we...?" J began to ask.

"It killed the soldier on the roof. I think it's safe to say it's on our side." V replied as she pushed herself into run forwad herself with the Doom Slayer instantly followed her, leaving both of them in the led of the charge, "Come on! We don't have time to waste!"

J and I nodded at her in agreement, the latter keeping her blush on her face as both of them pushed themselves into run to follow them. Nathan, Heavy, Medic, Anemone and her group of androids followed them, leaving the mess on the street and the two destroyed nests behind. Despite that however, they knew the battle was far from over.

Duncan, Geoff, DJ, Courtney and Bridgette made their way through the cities, making sure to avoid Kaltan's soldiers the best they could after leaving their original hideout. After Kaltan made himself known to their city, all of them fleed the festival and took shelter in one of the buildings where they intended on waiting everything out. However, their plans were changed upon hearing C's declaration to their city as all of them wanted to get to the safe zone which was apparently created in the park.

It was easier said than done, though and they remained in their hideout for several minutes even after the said declaration as DJ was too afraid to leave the place in fear of the monsters getting him before they'll reach the safe zone. His friends had to convince to leave their current hideout with Duncan and Courtney becoming noticeably frustated as it continued while Geoff and Bridgette were more understanding of their friend due to them knowing how scared he was. Especially Bridgette understood it as she was scared out of her mind as well.

Upon managing to convince DJ to leave their hideout, all of them wasted no time and rushed out of it with Duncan and Geoff taking the lead of it and DJ, Bridgette and Courtney staying in the background. All of them kept themselves in the shadows, keeping themselves out of anyone's view as best as they could. They decided to reach the safe zone by using this method, even though it was the slowest possible way of reaching it because it was the safest way for them and because it was the only way of convincing DJ to leave their last hideout.

Nothing notable happened to them after leaving their hideout as for now, they were fortunate enough to avoid coming across any of Kaltan's soldiers due to them being sneaky. They came close to coming into contact with them two times but were fortunate enough not to be noticed by them as the soldiers happened to be too busy in trying to get the upper hand on H and E who them fought with their super weapons. H casted various spells with her magic wand and E punched them into oblivion with his Fists of Justice.

The second time when they came close to coming into contact with them was when they glanced into the street next to them and saw G fighting one of the Tanks off with his Dr. Octopus like limbs. Using two of the limbs to keep himself stuck to the wall on the building, the male watchers pointed his other two limbs at the Tank and began gathering two energy beams around them as he intended to shot the Tank with them and took care of it.

Duncan, Geoff, DJ, Courtney and Bridgette paid no attention to it, though as they knew it wasn't the time for that and knew they had to focus on reaching their destination. They entered street next to it which was separated from the street they saw G by a group of buildigs and went further. Their luck in avoiding trouble in their invaded city faded away after a few minutes, though as they stumbled upon a problem on their way to safety. 

As they were about to pass the building in the middle of the street, something happened as something like an energy beam shot through the building on their left when they were about to pass it. If they were to guess, then it probably came from whatever G had fired on the tank and they power of it was strong enough to go through all those buildings. Not wasting any time, all of them pushed themselves into run and distanced themselves from the building as it started to fall down.

Bridgette looked around her friends and saw Duncan, Courtney and Geoff all running close to her as they distanced themselves from the falling building. However, she didn't see DJ anywhere close to them. She instantly voiced her concern to her friends and her boyfriend, "Guys. Where's DJ?"

Duncan stopped in his tracks upon hearing this and looked around his friends to see DJ was indeed gone, "Malibu is right. Where is he?"

"He was right behind us." Courtney replied, having jus stopped in her tracks and so did Geoff. All of them glanced behind them and DJ had not moved from his place ever since they saw the building falling down, leaving himself in it's crashing zone.

Duncan's eyes snapped open, "Shit!

"DJ!" Geoff shouted in worry for his friend as he pushed himself into run in an attempt of getting DJ out of the falling's building way before it could land on top him.

DJ didn't move from where he stood ever, finding himself paralyzed in fear as he could do nothing but watch as the building slowly descended down. He covered his face with his hands, feeling tears building up in his eyes at what he knew would be a certain death and let out a scream of pure fear. He closed his eyes and lowered his head, wanting 

He closed his eyes, waiting for the building to land on top him and what he suspected to be his last thoughts were him hoping it won't be painful. Nothing happened, though. The building didn't him even after several seconds passed. It confused and suprised DJ who was expecting to be crushed by it by this point. He looked up, opening his eyes and much to his suprise saw Ed standing next to him and holding up the building like it was nothing.

"What the...?" DJ exclaimed in suprise with his eyes shooting open.

Ed looked over his shoulder at him with a smile on his face as he acted as if he wasn't just holding an entire building, "Hi!"

"How do..." DJ was cut off mid-sentence as he felt himself getting grabbed all of a sudden. In the blink of an eye, he found himself taken away from the crashing zone of the building as a strange yellowish flash. The yellowish flash took him to his friends all of whom looked equally as suprised by what just happened as the flash revealed itself to be a person. This person was Eddy to be exact.

Eddy brushed his hands on his clothes upon letting go off DJ with a slightly disgusted look on his face, "Jeez. You're so so sweaty. My hands are all sticky now..."

"W-What...?" DJ stuttered out, ignoring Eddy's comment as he tried to make sense out of what just happened.

"Dude! How did you do that?" Geoff asked with a suprised look on his face, keeping his eyes on Eddy. His girlfriend and his friends did the same, refusing to take their attention off of Eddy to the point they didn't notice Ed was still holding the building to keep it from falling down and Double D making his way over to them from the direction they had come from.

Eddy rubbed the back of his head, "Yeah, well, I don't know how to explain this to you. It's all new to me as well..."

"I believe this isn't the time for explanation, though." Double D added, having just made his way to them, "We should focus on getting to the safe zone in the park."

"If it's still a thing..." Eddy muttered under his breath.

"Eddy." Double D looked at him with a scolding look on his face.

Eddy rolled his eyes at Double D's expression as he looked over his shoulder at Ed, "Lumpy! Time to go!"

"Alright, Eddy!" Ed replied, pulling his hands away from the building and pushed himself into run towards his friends and the others with the building beginning to fall down again.

Ed paid no attention to the falling building behind him, acting as if it didn't exist as he made his way to his friends and the others. Upon making his way to them, the building hit the ground and covered the area around it in smoke and debris. Duncan, Geoff, DJ, Courtney and Bridgette covered their faces, most specifically their eyes, to prevent anything from hitting their vision as they found themselves covered in the smoke caused by the building hitting the ground.

The smoke died down a second later, revealing there was some kind of force field around the Eds, Duncan, Geoff, DJ, Courtney and Bridgette which protected them from the debris and the smoke. The Eds acted unsuprised by it as Duncan, Geoff, DJ, Courtney and Bridgette pulled their hands away from their faces and looked around the force field around them with suprised looks on their faces, having no idea how it had just formed around them.

"Is it safe?" Double D asked, wanting to be sure.

Eddy looked around them and gave his friend a nod, "Yeah. It is. You can turn that thing off."

"Okay." Double D nodded back at him, turning off the force field and making it disappear. Needless to say. It made Duncan, Geoff, DJ, Courtney and Bridgette realize who was responsible for creating it in the first place.

Geoff shifted his gaze to him with a suprised, "What the? Was that your hat, dude?"

Double D nodded in confirmation, "Yes."

"But how?" Courtney asked, "How do you have those powers?!"

"We're not exactly sure." Double D gave her an honest, "But just like I said, we shouldn't think about it now, even though I want to get an answer as much as you do and we should focus on reaching the safe zone. Like I said earlier."

Eddy nodded in agreement, "Yeah. I don't about you but I'm done with being out in the open with those thing running around."

"I'm hungry." Ed added.

Duncan, Geoff, DJ, Courtney and Bridgette stared at the three boys in front of them, knowing they were right even if all of them remained confused and suprised by the powers all of them had displayed to them just now. The Eds turned away from them a second later and pushed themselves into run towards the park as Duncan, Geoff, DJ, Courtney and Bridgette silently exchanged glances with each other before following them, leaving the fallen building and the mess it made 

The group of eight wasted not time upon pushing themselves into run, intending to keep running until they'll reach their destination even if Double D will probably spit his lungs out by the time they'll reach it.  Duncan, Geoff, DJ, Courtney and Bridgette wanted to follow their original plan of staying in the shadows  but knew it won't be the case now as the Eds had a different way of reaching the destination. They knew they could split up fromt hem but decided to stick with them and whatever abilities they had now would work in their benefit as well as it would make the way easier for them.

Even if they had the Eds with their new abilities with them now, it didn't mean their road to their destination was without any problems or any encounters or any encounters. They first people they had stumbled upon were L, U and Ozone. The saw they group of three fighting off a group of Kaltan's soldiers all by themselves, using everything they had against them with L firing off his AR15, Ozone firing off his M4A1 and U using her grass sword to cut through every soldier in her way.

L and U were by themselves when they first entered the battle through the portal and Ozone had joined them shortly after he split up from his fellow personas and stumbled upon them. Even though he felt like there was something off about L with his emotionless face, he stayed with them and L and U. Neither of the watchers minded it as Ozone proved themselves to be useful against their opponent. The persona of the group had to admit, though. U was kind of pretty.

Their next encounter was Feera. The Gardevoir persona kept to herself, using her psychic powers to do all kind of stuff to all of the Kaltan's soldiers. Despite being all by herself, Feera didn't seem to be having any problem with them and continued to do their job. Eddy and Duncan had to admit something to themselves when they passed by the Gardevoir. She was kind of hot. Courtney noticed the way Duncan had looked at her and shot him a dirty look for it.

Their third encounter were Scout and Spy. They stumbled upon them when they turned the corner and saw Spy killing one of Kaltan's soldier with a shot to the head from his Ambassador and Scout standing on top of the Kaltan he had just knocked down and finishing it off with a shot to the head from his Scattergun. Upon killing the soldier, Scout looked ahead of himself and saw he had an audience with two women in it. He smiled at them and  He even flexed his arm, trying to impress Courtney and Bridgette. Neither of them appeared impressed by it, though and deadpanned at him while Spy facepalmed, telling him to focus like a disappointed father.

Upon moving away from Scout and Spy who continued on with what they were doing after being left alone with them, the group of eight entered the final street and saw their destination in the form of the entrance to the park at the end of it. The group of eight increased their pace after laying their eyes on the entrance, wanting to reach it even faster and all of them hoped they won't stumble upon more trouble on their final stretch to it.

They were wrong, though as the Tank jumped down from the top of the building, making the ground underneath them shake when it landed on the ground. The Tank growled, slamming it's massive hands against the ground as it charged towards the Eds, Duncan, DJ, Geoff, Bridgette and Courtney. All of them turned around, intending to distance themselves from the charging creature as Ed got themselves in front of them, looking like he was about to fight it all by himself.

The Tank never made it to them, though as someone behind them fire a grenade at it. The grenade exploded upon touching the creature, turning out to be the burning grenade as the Tank was covered in flames. The Tank roared, ending up as a living moving torch and it was finished off by the next next grenade. This time it was a normal grenade. It exploded upon hitting the creature again, killing it and making it's burning corpse land on the ground like a ton of bricks.

Double D, Eddy, Duncan, DJ, Geoff, Bridgette and Courtney felt waves of relief going through their bodies after seeing the creature hit the ground, all of them feeling happy with what just happened with it as Ed looked slightly disappointed he won't get a chance to fight it. The group of eight turned in the direction the grenades came from and saw Y who was holding two grenade launchers staring at them. He wasn't along. S was standing right next to him, holdng a mouser pistol.

Y nodded at them upon seeing them lay his eyes on him, telling them it was safe to go and moved further into the city with S right behind him. The group of eight saw it as their signal and pushed themselves into run again, running past the burning remains of the Tank in the process. Luckilly for them, they didn't come across more problems on their final stretch to the park and rushed through the entrance safely.

All of them went further into the park upon entering it and looked around themselves in search of the safe zone. The first thing they saw after giving their surroundings their first glance was a deceased flying soldier crashing into the ground after being sniped down by someone. All of them went past it's body, acting as if it was nothing and continued with their search. Once they passed the body, they saw a small machine with glowing yellow eyes stabbing one of Kaltan's soldier to death with it's sword

"In the names of the Forest Kingdom and king Abel!" The machine shouted, raising his sword when when he made his proud declaration in a male mechanical voice.

"Cool..." Ed commented under his breath at the view of the machine as he and the others ran past it, allowing it to do it's job and whatever it was planning to do further.

"Not the time, Ed!" Double D told him even if he found the thought of such machine fascinating, letting out a deep breath due to him being out of breath from all the running. 

"Dudes! I see the safe zone!" Geoff who was in the front of group declared and everyone looked towards him and saw what he was looking at right now.

It was when the safe zone appeared in front of them, making all of them feel even more relieved as they knew they were just seconds away. What instantly caught their attention was how defended it was. There were countless sentry guns placed around it, leaving a massive circle around it and many people like Feerzo or the gunner units of YoRHa stood behind them with their guns, providing support to the sentry guns whenever a group of Kaltan's soldiers charged towards them.

"Don't shoot everyone!" DJ shouted upon finding himself close enough to the safe zone, wanting to make sure they won't see them as hostile.

The group of eight reached the safe zone a second late and rushed past the sentry guns and the gun wielding defenders of it, finally finding themselves in the safety of it after all the time they had spent trying to make their way to it. Upon reaching the safe zone, all of them stopped in their tracks to catch their breath as all of them, especially Double D, felt like they could use something like this after all the running they had just put themselves through.

As they continued to catch their breath, they looked around the safe zone to see how many there were in it and they saw some familiar faces among them. They saw the Scooby Gang, the Hex Girls, Lazlo, Clam, Raj, Johnny Bravo with his mom, the Mayor, Sara Bellum, Carl, Pops, little Suzy, Dee Dee with her parents, Yumi and Ami from Puffy Ami Yumi, Muriel and Eustace Bagge (who was holding a mallet) with their dog Courage, Mac, Frankie Foster, Miss. Foster alongside of the imaginary friends like Blue, Wilt, Coco, Eduardo and Mr. Herriman. 

All of them were just some of the many residents of their city who put their trust in this safe zone and took shelter in it. With there being so many of them here and all of them looking to be safe despite several of them having some minor injures, the group of eight ressured themselves that it was a good choice to come here.

"We have new people!" One of the healer androids announced their arrival and R, C, Jackass, Devola and Popola instantly made their way to them. The group of eight laid their eyes on the five women.

R instantly introduced themselves to them, "Hello. My name is R and my friends over here are C..."

"C? You're the woman..." Bridgette cut R's introduction off, recalling the female watcher mentioning her name when she made her declaration.

C nodded in confirmation, "Yes."

"Man. You look like a nerd." Duncan commented, having not expected C to look like this as Courtney elbowed him.

"Because she is a nerd." R replied with her eyes narrowed at him, "Just like me."

Duncan raised his hands in a defensive manner, "Alright. Alright. Just saying."

"Is anyone from your group injured?" Popola asked, not wanting the last conversation to escalate as it was the last thing they needed right now, "If that's the case, then me or my sister can heal you. We can get someone to look at you as well."

Courtney shook her head, "Don't worry Miss. We're okay."

Bridgette shifted her gaze to the Eds, "Though, I can't say the same about them."

R raised her brow at her, "What do you mean?"

"Let's just say..." Double D sighed, knowing it had to be adressed in front of the people who arrived at their world to save it as he began his explanation. He shortened his explanation as much as he could, not wanting to waste a lot of their time as he told them about him and his friends now having some new strange powers all of a sudden and finished his explanation with how they used them to save DJ. R, C, Jackass, Devola and Popola all listened to everything with intrigued looks on their faces.

Devola shifted her gaze to Eddy with a smirk on her face after Double D finished his explanation, "Really? I gotta say, kid. You've got moves for someone so little." 

Eddy glared at her, "I'm not little!"

C shifted her gaze between the three Eds, "Could you tell me what happened with you after the attack started? Perharps it will be the source of your new powers."

Double D looked at her thoughtfully for a few seconds and gave her the answer she was waiting for, "I think I have something Miss. C. Whatever came out of the monster's body when he began to spread his nests across the city landed on top of us when we were trying to hide in the sewers to wait everything out. Maybe our contact with it had something to do with it."

R's eyes widened a bit, "His matter landed on top of you?"

"Yes." Double D gave her his confirmation.

"How did you freed yourself?" R wanted to know.

Eddy pointed at Ed as he gave her his answer, "Lumpy over here broke through it like it was nothing. After we left it, we felt like there was something off with our bodies and we ended up having those powers are."

"I see. Interesting." C muttered under her breath, feeling like there was a long talk ahead of her and the Eds once all of this is over.

"Can I performs tests on you?" Jackass instantly suggested, "You know. For science?"

C deadpanned at her, "Forget it, Jackass. You ain't gonna experiment on those kids."

Jackass pouted and snapped her fingers, "Aw, shucks..."

"Yo, dudette. Why are you calling her a jackass, though?" Geoff asked.

Bridgette nodded in agreement, "Yeah. There's no need to insult her for asking a question."

"I'm calling her that because Jackass is her name." C explained.

Jackass crossed her arms with a proud look on her face, "Aye. She's right. Pretty cool, huh?"

"What?" Bridgette asked her with a suprised look on her face as Double D, Geoff, Bridgette and DJ appeared equally as suprised as she was. Eddy and Duncan, on the other hand, held back a chuckle and Ed paid no attention to it.

"Yeah. I know. Let's don't go into details here." C replied and shifted her attention back to Double D, "We'll come back to this conversation once all of this is over. I'll try to help you figure out what happened if your new powers won't vanish once this all over."

"Alright." Double D nodded in understanding, knowing he and his friends were in for a long talk with C and possible R once this is all over.

"What do we do now?" Geoff wanted to know.

R pointed behind her, "Just find yourself a place in the safe zone and wait out until the fight is over there. If you'll need anything, just come to me or C."

The Eds,  Duncan, DJ, Geoff, Bridgette and Courtney nodded in understanding and turned away from R, C, Devola, Popola and Jackass before walking off to find themselves a free place for themselves in thes afe zone.  R, C, Devola, Popola and Jackass parted ways from each other a second later after watching the group of eight walk away from them, all of them heading off to do whatever they had to do in the safe zone right now.

C glanced at R,  wanting to ask her about something but her words died in her throat when saw her her friend oggling Sara Bellum in the crowd of the refugee's. She shook her head, opening her mouth to tell her to stop oggling her before she was cut off by a scream. She looked over her shoulder in the direction of it and saw Ed wanting to talk with Sarah, having just found his younger sister in the safe zone and Sarah screaming at him to leave her alone. 

The female watcher shook her head, letting out a sigh as she felt bad for Ed. She shifted her attention away from the scene behind her and shifted it back to R, voicing to her what she wanted to say to her a moment earlier. R glanced at her, looking at her with her usual expression on her face as she answered to her. As both of them continued to have their conversation, they walked past Sniper, Relo and Jackie who continued to snipe all of the flying soldiers from their position with Sniper having a displeased look on his face.

"Ugh..." He groaned to himself, hating the fact that Relo and Jackie had taken out more of Kaltan's flying soldiers than he did.

A2 glared at the soldier in front of her as she watched life fade away from it's eyes, having just pierced it directly through it's chest with her blade before pulling it out. The white haired android let out an exhale, seeing the amount of enemies around her and her group as she moved towards towards the next group of enemies. If she was honest with herself, the last time when she put herself through so much fighting was back in her world before the watchers came into the picture and it was making her feel kind of nostalgic.

She couldn't count the numbers of Kaltan's soldiers she had slained ever since she and the rest of the investigation team charged into battle and she knew the number would keep growing and growing with each passing second as there was simply no end of them due to the nests all over the city reproducing them. All of them were going against them since the battle had started and she could easily say their group as a whole had killed a few hundreds of them by this point.

B put his Infinity Gauntlet to good use. Despite it not having all the abilities of it's original counterpart for safety reason, the golden gauntlet proved itself useful against the constant waves of the enemies. The Power Stone part of it proved itself to be perfect when it came to taking out multiple enemies at the same time due to B blasting them from the distance with a power beam and the Reality Stone part of it provided itself to be useful for it's own reasons like the male watches using it to make sharpened points out of debris fragments.

Q and her Medigun proved them all the support she could give them, using the fighting function of it to blast as much of enemies as she could with it. This, in addition to the Power Stone from B's gauntlet, proved itself to be a deadly combination as the two watcher friends were capable of taking out groups of the enemies like it was nothing. The female watcher only wished she could use the ubercharge function of it on someone, though as everyone around her was unable to placed under it.

2B followed A2's example and used her sword to the best of her abilities, swinging it around and cutting and slicing as much enemies as she could with it. She and A2 became a formidable duo together, putting their own skills and experience from the world and leaving everyone who dared to stand in their path dead. Despite everything going on around her right now, her face remained as blank as ever thoughout all of it

9S did his best against Kaltan's soldiers as well even if he mostly stayed in the background for the more tense fights against a larger wave of enemies due to him not being a fighting android. Despite that, however, the scanner android did his best and killed his own share of Kaltan's soldiers and never showed himself to be worse than the rest of his team for even a second.

Pod 042 and Pod 153 performed well as well, providing support to the investigation team the best they could with their abilities and were even responsible for blowing up two of the nests they had stumbled upon in their way to this part of the city. Aside from helping the investigation team in the fighting, the two Pods were helping them with moving around due to the using their abilities to calculate the fastest way to Kaltan.

The fastest way didn't mean the easiest way, though. The amount of Kaltan's soldiers they had faced to get to this point was the best example of that. Normal soldiers, flying Soldiers, Tanks and the Smokers. They faced all of them with one some types giving them trouble and some not. They had to destroy at least seven nests to get here as well. Despite having to face all of that, however, they knew it had to be done if they wanted to finish this operation with success.

B pulled one of Kaltan's soldiers close to him with the Space Stone and punched it in the face as he shifted his gaze to Pod 042, "Where are we now, 42? What direction do we need to go from here?"

"We need to turn left on the next turn and go forward afterwards." 042 gave him an honest answer according to the data he had in himself, firing a powerful laser in the direction it was facing.

"Alright." B nodded in understanding, picking up a piece of debris with a mixture of the Reality and the Space Stone and throwing iat the charging opponent ahead of him.

"How much time do we have before we'll reach him?" Q voiced her question next, 

"If we'll keep going on like this, then it will be 30 minutes minimun before we'll have to split up from you." 042 provided another answer to the watchers, "Though, our judgement of the time can change if our situation will change."

"Attention I have just detected something in our direction to Kaltan." 153' feminine voice added, "I detected someone fighting in the direction we'll be heading now."

"Are those one of our fellow watchers?" Q asked as B wanted to know the answer to this question as well. The thought of facing Kaltan once they'll fight their way to him was already scary to them. The thought of facing them with just two of them making it ever worse for both of them.

"No. Whatever comes from over there comes from what you'd call a normal character. Not the watcher." 153 replied as B and Q exchanged glances with each other and sighed, feeling their hopes of finally regrouping with one of the watchers dying down. All they could do now was hope they will still manage to regroup with someone. 

"You'll worry about that later!" A2 told B and Q, slicing one soldier's head off with her blade as she knew what both of them were thinking about right now, "For now let's just focus on fighting those shitheads off and reaching whoever is ahead of us!'

B and Q once again exchanged glances with each other and nodded, knowing A2 was right and focused themselves on fighting their way through the street again.  The investigation team advanced forward afterwards, making their way through the street and taking out all of the soldiers in their way in the process. Just as they were about halfway through their way to their destination, something happened.

The soldiers in the back of the group they were facing right now turned away and rushed off to the turn on the left. The investigation team suspected what it must have meant. Whoever was over there must have been coming close to destroying a nest and the soldiers which came out of it must have detected and rushed off to stop it. The investigation team didn't mind this turn off events as it made their job of fighting their way through the street easier.

The investigation team took care of the remaining enemies without much problems once the rest of the group split up from them, leaving most of them dead on the street. By the time there were only a few of them remaining B used the Reality Stone and trapped them under slabs of stone. After seeing the remaining soldiers were trapped by B, Pod 042 and Pod 153 fired a laser at the same time and took all of them out in one go.

Upon taking care of the all the remaining soldiers around them, the investigation team finally reached their destination and turned left after reaching the crossroad like they were told by 042. It was when they laid their eyes on three familiar figures and one new figure. The familiar figure were Pyro, Demoman and Soldier and the new figure was the Scotsman from Samurai Jack. All of them were fighting their way through Kaltan's soldiers, trying to reach the nest in the middle of the street and destroy it.

The investigation team exchanged glances with each other, knowing what they had to do now as they rushed towards the group of four as they intended on helping them. As all of them rushed towards them, Soldier aimed his rocket launcher down and fired a rocket at the ground below him to launch himself in the air. Upon finding himself in the air, the crazy war loving mercenary fired his three remaining rockets and rained them down at the soldiers around him and the other three.

Just as he began to descend on the ground, he pulled out his Market Gardener and hit one of the soldiers with it upon landing on the ground. The soldier landed on the ground, deceased but it wasn't over for Soldier, though. He landed right in the middle of the ground of Kaltan's soldiers and all of them shifted their attention to him. Soldier didn't think much of it, though and fearlessly intended to face all of them.

"I'm not trapped here with you! You're trapped here with me!" He declared, showing no fear towards the soldiers surrounding him as he switched out his Market Gardener for the Escape Plan and the Equalizer, intending to use both pickaxes on everything surrounding him at the same. Not wasting any time, he began swinging both of the said weapons around crushing and stabbing as many skulls with it as he could.

Pyro wasted no time and began to fight them off as well, charging forward and unleashing a stream of fire from his flame-thrower and setting all of his enemies around him in fire. The fire loving maniac laughed maniacally, seeing the monsters around him burning to death as all of them tried to get a hold of him. One of the soldiers hugged him from behind, trying to lit Pyro up in fire.

It didn't do anything to Pyro, though as his fireproof suit protected him. He headbutted the soldier behind him with the back of his head, pushing it away from him and turned around to face it. Just as the burning creature composed itself from the headbutt and was about to attack Pyro again, the masked mercenary unleashed more fire from his flame thrower at the creature and watched how the flames consumed it with the the reflection of the flames showing in the eyelids of his mask.

Demoman charged at the soldier in front of him, crashing into it with his shield and knocked it down. He stepped on it's neck a second later, putting more pressure on it with his boot and killing it by breaking it's neck before swinging his Eyelander at the charging in front of him. The charging soldier didn't got a chance to do anything to him, though as the dark skinned mercenary sliced it's head off with his sword.

The one eyed man advanced towards the nest a second later, killing each of Kaltan's soldiers in his way as he swung his Eyelander around, leaving all of his enemies dead and killing everyone who dared to stand in his way to his target. By the time he made it to the nest, there was a trail of several bodies behind him and he wasted no time afterwards. He switched his Eyelander to his Sticky Bomb Launcher and began 

"Guys!" Q smiled upon reaching her friends her friends from RED as she and the rest of the investigation team had just made their way to them. Even if they were not one of her fellow watchers, she was still happy with them being the ones the Pods had detected. Not wasting any time, the rest of the investigation team joined Pyro, Soldier, Demoman and the Scotsman in whatever they were doing right now.

The Scotsman saw Demoman setting up the sticky bombs on the next and knew he had to provide him support and covering fire in some way. The ginger haired man punched the soldier in front of him in the head, pushing it away from him as he lifted up his prosthetic leg and aimed at it. He sprayed the soldier with bullets, finishing it off and leaving it laying on the ground with many gunshot wounds over it's body.

He didn't stop there, though as he kept his firing prosthetic leg up on the air and moved around to make sure the bullets from it hit as many of Kaltan's soldiers as he could. He sprayed all of Kaltan's soldiers around him around him in bullets, leaving many of them dead in the process. This, along with the help of the others, allowed the Demoman to place the sticky bombs on the nest safely. Once he was done with setting up his sticky bombs, he walked away from nest to find himself in a safe distance from the explosion and detonated them.

"Kaboom!" He exclaimed, detonating the sticky bombs he had placed on the nest and destroying it with an explosion they caused. Just as he destroyed the nest, 

"You are scum! You are nothing but a bunch of cowards!" Soldier declared, pulling the Equalizer from the soldier he had just killed.

9S pulled out his sword out of the body and looked around everyone questioningly, "Was that everyone?"

"Looks like it." 2B replied, keeping herself in ready for a fight just in case more of them would come to attack them.

Q lowered her medigun a bit as she shifted her gaze between the three RED mercenaries around her, happy to see them. She was especially happy to see Pyro, "Guys. You have no idea how happy I am to see you right now."

"You too, girl." Pyro replied, smilling underneath his mask at his friend as he shifted her gaze between her, B and A2, "I'm happy to see all of you. From what I've heard things got back there for all of you when you found him."

B nodded in confirmation, "Yeah. We almost got crushed by the cave."

"Don't worry about it, though." Q added as she shifted her gaze to the Scotsman and smiled slightly, "I see you found a new friend too."

"Aye." Demoman nodded in confirmation. He and the rest stumbled upon the Scotsman shortly after entering the city and he enjoyed having him around to say the least, "It's nice having a fellow scotsman around."

"I couldn't have put it better myself, lad." The Scotsman smiled back at him, "I was looking for laddie ever since all of this started, but he did just fine as his replacement for all of this."

Demonan smiled at the Scotsman again, "We already planned to go out for some drinks together once this is all over."

A2 rolled her eyes, "I'm happy to hear about you planning out your future and all, but now is not the time to talk about this."

"She's right." B agreed with her, "We need to focus on fighting our way to Kaltan."

The Scotsman rubbed the back of his head with a questioning look on his face, "If you want to get to him, then why don't you teleport yourself to him. Like you did when you brought our forces into our city?" 

"Trust me. We would if it was so easy." Q replied.

The Scotsman raised his brow at this, "What do you mean?"

B quickly provided him an explanation, "According to the information we had about him, whoever created him made it impossible for us to create our portals around him to make it impossible for him to get ambushed. If you want to fight him, you'll have to approach him directly."

"Oh..." The Scotsman didn't know how else he should reply to this. All he could say right now is that now it made sense to him.

"Either way. We should get going. We..." B was cut off mid-sentence by someone.

"B! Q!" A voice the two watchers in question were familiar with called out from above. B and Q and everyone who was with them looked up and saw W and N flying towards them in Shay and Skyler.

"W? N?" B raised his brow upon seeing two of his fellow watchers on their dragons, feeling relieved on the inside about him and Q managing to regroup with at least two of them. Q felt the same as she smiled up at them.

"You have no idea how happy both of us are to see." W said, having just landed on the ground on Shay and N landed on next to him a second later.

Q smiled at him, "Same here."

"What are you doing here?" B wanted to know.

"Me and N have been flying around the city and looking for watchers who are close to Kaltan so we could bring them to him on Shay and Skyler." W began this explanation, "After flying a bit we noticed the stuff from B's gauntlet and assumed we'd find you here. Good to know we were right.

"I see." Q said in understanding, knowing where this was going from the moment W brought up how he and N are planning to use their dragons.

"Did you saw anyone else beside me and Q close to Kaltan?" B wanted to know.

"Not when we noticed you. Let's hope that change once we'll take off as having more than four people to fight him would be better." W shook his head, cringing a bit at the reactions his answer go out of B and Q as he gave Shay's back a pat, "Come on, you two. We need to get going. You know we don't have time to waste here."

"Yeah..." Q replied, feeling herself growing nervous as she exchanged glances with B who started to grow nervous. They nodded at each other, knowing what they had to do now.They knew going with W and N would make their clash with Kaltan happen faster and it made them more nervous. They knew it had to be done, though.

B shifted his gaze to the rest of the investigation team as he told them, "Guys. We'll be leaving with W and N to fight Kaltan. You stay here with Pyro, Demo, Soldier and the Scotsman and help them in taking care of the rest of the nests around the city."

"Understood." 9S voiced his understanding of it, feeling himself growing a bit worried as he could tell how nervous B and Q were. They weren't the only ones. He could tell W and N were nervous as well.

B and Q exchanged one final looks with everyone from their group and pushed themselves into walk towards W, N, Skyler and Shay. A2 clenched her hand, seeing the two watchers she was hanging around heading off to fight off the monster responsible for all of this. She bit her lip, cursing herself mentally for staying silent. She had to say something to them as they were heading off for such a fight. She just had to.

"Guys..." The android with a long white hair stepped forward to go after them. Her words died in her throat for a second, feeling her more awkward side taking over.

B stopped in his tracks and looked at her, "Yes?"

"What is it?" Q added, having stopped in her tracks and glanced at her as well.

"Just...Be safe. Okay?' A2 wished her friends luck.

"Yeah! Kick his ass for us!" Pyro added.

"Make America proud!" Soldier wished them luck as well, giving them a salute before going back to fighting his opponents.

Demoman nodded, "Aye!"

"Don't worry about us." B couldn't help himself and smiled at the support his friends were showing him.

"We'll be fine" Q added, "Once we'll be done, all four of us will go to Hell where we'll celebrate our victory."

"Hell?" The Scotsman raised his brow in confusion as A2 silently nodded at B and Q, knowing that they were talking about. Pyro didn't know what they were talking about on the other hand. The mention of Hell made him excited for whatever B and Q had planned once this operation will end, though.

B and Q made their way to W, N, Shay and Skyler a second later and wasted no time when it came to climbing on top of the two dragons. B climbed in top of Shay, finding himself behind W and Q climbed on top of Skyler, finding herself behind N. W and N looked over their shoulders at the watcher behind them once B and Q found themselves on their dragons, wanting to make sure the watchers in question were sitting safely and won't fall off once they'll take off on their dragons with them.

After making sure B and Q will be alright, W and N glanced away from them and motioned to Shay and Skyler to take off. The two dragons took off a second later with the four watchers on them, leaving A2, 2B, 9S, POD 042, POD 153, Pyro, Soldier, Demoman and the Scotsman behind them. All of them looked up, watching the four watchers and the two dragons flying out of their view before moving further into the city as all of them knew they still had their job to take care of.

B, Q, W and N looked around themselves after finding themselves in the air as Skyler and Shay flew around the area, wanting to know if they were any watchers nearby they could collect for their fight with Kaltan. After taking off into the air, W and N suggested having one last flight around the area to B and Q for this reason and B and Q agreed with it instantly as they knew they should give this a try. Even if they won't find anyone in the area.

B and Q used this as their chance to look around the sky, wanting to know how the situation looked like there and it looked just as well they expected it. The sky was filled with Kaltan's flying soldiers and everyone from their side of the fight who could fly was doing their best to fight them off. There were some familiar faces to them like F, YoRHa flying units and aircraft and the Powerpuff Girls and even Jackbots. They massive form of Aku was seen in the background of the city as well. They even saw someone doing a massive blast far in the city. Emil must have been responsible for it. 

Mother Luck seemed to smile down down on them a moment later as something not too far from them caught their attention. It was a block of ice. It was levitation above the ground and someone was raining the fragments of ice from it on whoever or rather whatever was below them as the four watchers could tell it was directed at Kaltan's soldiers straight away. The four watchers knew how it was as well as they could think of only one person with such ability.

Q voiced what all of them were thinking right now a second later, "Esdeath?"

"Who else can it be?" B replied, not recalling having anyone else who could do this in their crew against Kaltan.

"Do you think K and T are with them?" Q asked, recalling how these two were assigned to the Night Raid.

"Only one way to find out." W replied as he glanced at N and nodded at her. N nodded back at him, both of them mutually agreeing where they should go next.

Shay and Skyler knew where their owners wanted them to go and flew closer the block of ice as it continued to rain down sharpened fragments of ice at Kaltan's soldiers. B, W, N and Q looked below them upon reaching the area, hoping to see what they were hoping to see and fortunely saw what they wanted to see. They saw Esdeath, Akame, Leone, Kurome, Wave and Bulat fighting off Kaltan's soldiers with Esdeath and Bulat teaming up together against two  Tanks and they weren't alone. K was with them.

"K!" W called out for K as K knocked one of Kaltan's soldiers down and finished it off by stomping on it's head. 

K looked up and pointed at the two Tanks in front of her, "Guys! Help Bulat and Esdeath!"

W and N nodded to themselves, knowing what to do before they will land on the ground and Shay and Skyler knew what to do as well. The two dragons flew closer to the two Tanks which already seemed wounded from their fight with Bulat and Esdeath and rained fire at them from their mouths. The fire hit the two Tanks a second later, leaving them engulfed in it in the blink of an eye. Esdeath and Bulat used this to their advantage right away and finished the two Tanks off.

"Thank you." Bulat expressed his gratitude to the recent arrivals at his location as Shay and Skyler landed on the ground, revealing who was on their backs to everyone from K's group.

"You could have left mine alone." Esdeath added with a sadistic smirk on her face as she pointed at the burning corpse of her tank, "I was just getting started with it."

K rolled her eyes at Esdeath's words and looked at B, Q, W and N questioningly, "What's wrong, guys? What are you doing here."

"We're here to collect you." W explained as N nodded in confirmation.

K raised her brow, "Collect me?"

W quickly provided her an explanation, "Me and N went on Shay and Skyler around the town to find the watchers who are the closest to Kaltan so we can bring them with us to fight Kaltan. We just collected  B and Q before we saw a block of ice floating above the ground. We realized it must been Esdeath so we went to check if you happen to be around her."

"I see..." K replied in understanding.

B looked around K's group and noticed T was nowhere to be seen, "Where's T?"

"We split up shortly after we entered the city. I don't know where he is right now." K explained as B nodded in understanding, "Aside from him, You four are the first watchers I have seen since I entered the city."

"I see..." B replied in understanding.

"Come on. Let's go." W added, motioning K to go sit on either Shay or Skyler. If he was honest with himself, he preferred to have K sit down on Shay alongside him and B due to Shay being bigger than Skyler.  

"Yeah. Let's go." K replied after inhaling and exhaling some air, knowing what it meant and nodded at them. As she pushed herself into walk towards them and looked over her shoulders at her friends from the Night Raid and Esdeath, "Everyone. I'll be leaving with them to fight Kaltan. All of you stay together and keep up doing what we've been doing since entering this town."

Kurome nodded at her, "Understood."

"You don't need to tell me twice. It will be so much fun." Esdeath smirked at her, "Once this is all over I'm getting laid with R and 6O."

Wave cringed a bit, "Too much details..."

"Be safe, K." Akame wished her best friend luck as K stopped in front of Shay. As much as she would have preferred to be on Skyler with her fellow girls, she knew it would be safer for her to on Shay with the guys due to Shay being bigger than Skyler.

"Yeah. Show him what you can do!" Bulat offered his support as K began climbing her way to the top of Shay.

Leone winked at her, "If you'll kill him, I'll give you a suprise. What do you think?" 

"A suprise from you? No thanks." K gave her an honest asnwer, getting a chuckle out of Leone as she found herself sitting behind B on top of Shay.

"You ready to go?" W asked, looking over his shoulder at the Asian watcher.

K blushed a bit, wrapping her hands around B from behind to make sure she won't fall off of Shay and B blushed at it slightly himself at the feeling of it, "Yeah. Let's go." 

W nodded, signalling Shay to go up and N did the same with Skyler. The two dragons took off a second later, leaving K's team on the ground and all of them watched them leaves for a second before moving forward down the street as more of Kaltan's soldiers came charging at them from the said direction. Nothing much came out of their attack, though as Esdeath froze the ground underneath them and rained ice fragments on them, leaving all of them dead in just a few seconds.

B, Q, W, N and K paid no attention to whatever happened with Esdeath and Kaltan's soldiers below them due to them knowing the Night Raid will take care of this, focusing themselves on their task of getting to Kaltan as Shay and Skyler started to fly in his direction. As their group began nearing their target with each passing second, all of them felt themselves growing more nervous as they knew how close they were to their target right now and how it was just a matter of minutes befoe they will reach him now.

Their surroundings started to show how close they were to him as well. The world around them was becoming more dark and grim due to the storm clouds which were a product of Kaltan. All of the clouds covered the entire sky around them, making everything feel more like it was night instead of the day for the five watchers and two dragons. The lightnings of various sizes were hitting the ground around them as well, leaving W, N, Skyler and Shay thinking of the latter two's homeworld and how their friends there would be thinking about Odin being in a bad mood today.

W pushed himself out his thoughts regarding the lightning and the storm clouds a second later. It was when he spoke up to his fellow watchers, trying to have one last conversation with the before they'll fight Kaltan. It could be a nice way to ease up the tension as well, "...So. This is it. We're almost there. Are you guys ready?"

"No." K gave him an honest answer as B nodded in agreement.

"I can't remember the last time when I was so nervous." Q added as N silently nodded in agreement.

"Yeah. Me too. Don't wory, though. I'm sure we're going to make this unharmed." W told all of them. Everything between them became silent a second later, creating an awkward silence. The male watcher cursed himself mentally for starting his conversation with them like this, knowing it probably did more harm than good. He tried to change it a second later, "Is there any way we can approach Kaltan without Shay and Skyler?"

"What?" K asked, taken aback by him asking this all out of a sudden.

Q glanced at him with a raised brow, "What do you mean?"

"Me and N don't want to risk getting Shay and Skyler close enough to him due to how risky it is." W explained, "But if you don't have anything or any idea how we could reach him without their help, then we'll accept this."

Q looked at him with a thoughtful look on her face and got an idea a few seconds later, "What about B?"

"What about me?" B asked upon being brought up into this conversation.

"Remember when you used your gauntlet to make you, me and A2 float above the ground when we first visited TF2, right?" Q brought up a particular situation to him.

B nodded in confirmation, "Yeah. What about it?"

"Could you do it with the five of us?" Q voiced what she had to ask him.

B looked at her thoughtfully, "I could probably do it. I never did it with five people at the same time."

"Alright. That would be great." W smiled at him as N smiled at it as well, "Thanks, man."

"Yeah..." B replied, not knowing how else to reply to this.

"I'll let you know when to do it. Alright?" W asked him, wanting to make this clear to him.

"Yes." B gave him the same answer as before, remaining uncertain on what else to say right now. He shifted his gaze to Q a second later.

Even if she was nervous herself, his best friend smiled at him in a reassuring manner as if she wanted to tell him everything was going to be alright. He nodded at her gratefully, hoping that will be the case here as K nervously adjusted her grip around him. The embarassment of her holding him like this faded away after a few seconds, finding itself replaced by nervousness and B tried to comfort her the only way she could think of right now by placing his right hand on top of hers.

W kept his smile on his face as he continued to look over his shoulder at B and K as a way of showing them everything be will be alright. It faded away a second later, though when he glanced ahead of him and the rest again. He shifted his gaze to N, wanting to share one last glance with his girlfriend before they'll make their way to Kaltan. N returned his gaze, pulling her hands away from Skyler and did a heart motion with her hands to him.

W knew what it meant straight away.

She was telling him "I love you".

"I love you too." The male watcher mouthed to to his girlfriend, waiting for the right moment to tell B to use his Gauntlet to float them over to Kaltan.

Kaltan looked up from where he had settled himself in ever since the battle in the city had started, having just sensed not one, but five watchers coming his way and being just several seconds away from reaching him. The monster kept looking in the direction he had sensed them coming from, waiting for their arrival. He couldn't see them due to the clouds around him, leaving the area around him dark and only illuminated by this lightnings and the nests he had placed around it, they yellowish matter he had made them of glowing in the dark.

He got what he was waiting for a second later as B, Q, W, N and K all descended from the sky, moving out of the the storm cloud right into his view as all of them floated above the ground with a light blue aura surrounding them. He narrowed his eyes slightly, wondering what was the aura around them as he doubted all of them had the same ability. He located the source of the aura a second later as he set his eyes on B's gauntlet and noticed the blue stone in it glowing, allowing all of them to float.

He allowed himself to eye all of the five watchers as well. Despite all of them trying to keep their expression blank with a hint of glares on their face, he could tell all of them were nervous about facing him on one way or another. Needless to say. It left him pleased. The more they were afraid of him and nervous about facing him, the easier it would be for him to defeat them. Once he would kill all of them, he would declare their deaths to their fellow watchers and he knew how it would hit their morale. 

He didn't worry about there being five of them going to face him as well. He already had faced worse in the past and the five watchers were inexperienced. Not to mention, he was certain all of them were tired in a bigger or smaller way after everything he had put them through in the city. All he could feel right now was his confidence in himself and in this fight rising, knowing this will be an easy fight and today will mark the day he will start fulfilling his master's creator dream.

B, Q, W, N and K landed on the ground a second later and the blue aura from around them vanished due to B stopping using the Space Stone on them. Fortunely for them, their idea of B using his gauntlet to help them float the rest of their way to Kaltan worked and Skyler and Shay were kept away from the monster. The five watchers looked up at Kaltan, keeping their expressions blank as they kept looking up at their targer and ignored everything else around them. They already managed to get a good look at their surrounds when they were making their way down to Kaltan. All that mattered to them was at this very moment was Kaltan. 

Kaltan lowered his gaze to look down at them and spoke up, "I see you came to me."

"What's up with this remark? Are you suprised to see us here? Did you expected your soldiers to take care of us and do your job for you?" K glared at him. She wasn't the only one who glared at him.B, Q, W and N were glaring as well, their blank expressions having been replaced by glares the moment they touched the ground.

"Not really. To be honest I was waiting for the moment some of you will fight your way to me." Kaltan admitted, "Five of you are already here. Once I'll be done with you, there'll be only twenty one of you for me left to take care of it. By the time you'll be out of my way, nothing will else will stand in my way of fulfilling my master creator's desires. In fact. I feel like I need to thank you for it. You came straight to me. You just made my job easier."

B, Q, W, N and K stiffened at their remark, feeling the atmosphere around them growing more girm and tense when Kaltan made his remark. K narrowed her gaze, trying to show strength through the growing worry in her eyes. B, Q and N's eyes widened a bit at his words, thinking back to when C and R filled her and the rest about everything. Even W seemed spooked by that. All of them stared at Kaltan. Not knowing whether to stare into the face of terror itself with courage or something else entirely.

"There's something I need to admit, though." Kaltan added to what he said a second earlier, "I'm a bit suprised. I would have expected someone who is new to this job like the five of you to be exhausted to even stand by the time you will make your way to me."

"What can we say? We're kind of stubborn. The kind of people which are too stubborn to even feel exhausted when they are." W glared at him, summoning his super weapons and a set of drums appeared behind his back. It wasn't over for him. Two small sticks which he used to strike his drums appeared in his grasp, leaving him looking like he was ready for a fight.

"People like you really are the worst type of people to go against. It really reminds me of my time with my master creator when both of us went against your predecessors." Kaltan replied as B, Q, W, N and K all exchanged glances with each other at the mention of Kaltan's creator. All of them couldn't help but internally ask themselves at the same time. Who this was man? Kaltan took notice of this and asked them, "All of you are a curious bunch. Aren't you? I can see it from the way you're acting right now. You must be wondering what drives me to do this. What drew my master creator to do this."

B, Q, W, N and K all stayed silent, keeping their glares on their faces as they continued to face him as a way of showing him they were not afraid of him. Kaltan almost chuckled at it. If only those poor folls knew how futile it was. He shifted his attention away from them a second later and glanced in the direction of the city, closing his eyes for a second and allowing himself to  hear all the fighting noises coming from the said direction.

"You see the truth of it all." Kaltan continued, facing forward once again as he opened his eyes agian to glare at the five watchers below him, "It's terrifying. Turns the legs to jelly. I ask you to what end, will you continue to hide from the face of truth? You see now how dangerous the multiverse can be. You found out about it yourself. Anyone can attack it out of nowhere at any moment. No matter how experience you are in your job."

"What are you talking about?" K asked, "You just described our job to us."

B nodded in agreement, "Yeah We knew what we were signing up for after we received this job. This is why came here in the first place. Despite us knowing how little experience we have against threats like you, we knew we need to face you. Because that's what we're suppose to do."

"Where are you getting with that?" W wanted to know.

Kaltan shook his head at how narrow minded the people in front of him seemed to be, "You must see the bigger picture of everything. The multiverse is a big place. It needs a ruler which will keep it in check and the universes must be aware of his existance. Just think about it. All the universes of the multiverse united under one ruler. Doesn't this sound like a paradise to you? It was kind of paradise my master creator wanted to create. He would rule over them, keeping at them at bay to keep his status quo in place and punishing them whenever the situation would require him to."

Q looked at him with a mixture of disgust and anger on her face, "Because you will force them to live under your rule and will billions in order to achieve it. You already showed us the way you want to achieve it by eating a world and killing everyone who resided in it."

"It will come with a cost, yes." Kaltan admitted as N raised her glove, making sure the function of it was on the power part of it not the healing part of it for one last time, "It's a sacrifice the multiverse needs to make to make this dream a reality, though. Better future cannot be achieved without sacrifices. My master creator knew it better than everything paid dearly for it."

B raised his brow at his words, "Victory cannot be achieved without sacrifices?"

"What kind of sacrifices are you talking about?" Q added as Kaltan's soldiers slowly began coming out of the nests around them, surrounding them while they were waiting for their master's order to attack them, "There some lines you don't cross if you want to achieve your victory. Eating worlds and butchering bilions of people to grow stronger and make everyone fearfully obey you isn't one of them."

"You don't sound like someone who wants to make the multiverse a better place." W added his own part as well, "You don't care about it. You just want to rule over everyone with an iron fist by killing everyone who will disobey you."

"This is the difference between us and you." K's glare on her face grew sharper, "We're doing what we're doing because it's our job to protect the multiverse. You're doing what you're doing, because you want to control everything. Your bullshit talks of saving the multiverse by having you rule over it are just a cover for it."

"You sound just like your predecessors. Just like them, you can't see the bigger picture and are keeping yourself in denial." Kaltan replied, the tone of his voice taking a much darker tone as he recalled all the memories he had regarding the last generation of the watchers, "Even my master's creator beloved best friend couldn't see his vision and betrayed him. He was considerate enough to have plans to place her as the co-ruler of his future empire and she turned against him the moment he informed her of his plans, forcing him to kill her."

"Forced him to kill her? We always have a choice." K raised her brow as B and Q exchanged glances with each other. Kaltan's master creator being a man and his best friend being a woman. Needless to say. It made them think about them and their friendship as they were a man and a woman who were best friends as well.

W nodded in agreement, "Exactly. Your master creator decided to kill his best friend just because she wasn't supporting his plans. It was on him. Not her. All she did was telling him he is not agreeing with his plans. It was his problem he had his head up down his ass own to the point he couldn't accept someone disagreeing with him."

"You can tell me all you want. Whatever you will say will only reassure me in my goal of achieving my master's creator deam." Kaltan replied, looking like he was growing tired of this conversation, "A grateful multiverse where my masters creator dream will be fulfilled and I'll personally make sure everything will be just like the way he envisioned." 

"All of it will be born of the blood you will shred to make this happen." K pointed out as the soldiers slowly began coming out of the nests around them with their attention set on her and her fellow watchers right away. B noticed the monsters heading towards them as well with the Power Stone on his gauntlet slowly beginning to shine.

"People who will soon become my subjects will never know it." Kaltan replied as the five watchers in front of him looked ready to face him right there right now, "Because you won't be alive to tell them." 

W let out an issuing battle cry, slamming his stick against one of the drums and unleashing a massive wooden dragon towards Kaltan in order to give his fellow watchers enough time to make their move. Even with him doing this, however, it left Kaltan's soldiers untouched as all of them charged at him and the rest. This problem was quickly taken care of, though as  B slammed his gauntlet against the ground, sending the soldiers who pushed themselves into charge towads him and his friends flying away from him and his fellow watchers and making it possible for them to rush off.

"Everyone! Scatter!" W shouted, keeping Kaltan focused on him with his wooden dragon as he wasted no time and slammed his stick against another drum and unleashed more wooden dragons in order to create a wide ranged attack and leave Kaltan focused on him while the others will get themselves into positions which will benefit them in this fight.

The rest of his fellow watchers shot off in one direction, others in another, but all lost in a frenzy to get themselves into a position which would allow them to fight Kaltan. Kaltan's soldiers collected themselves from getting knocked away when B slammed his gauntlet against the ground and rushed towards them again. Not a single watcher was spared from their attention. All five watchers had to deal with them.

K went around the soldiers around her, kicking and punching everything in her path as she tried to find a good opening for her where she could attack Kaltan. N aimed her glove at each enemy in her path, effectively killing all of Kaltan's soldiers in her way until very few of them remained. B and Q did the same with their own super weapons, using them to blast anyone in their way as they fought their way to their target.

W was jumped at by Kaltan's soldiers as well, using him focusing on their master to their advantage as they surrounded them. W looked around himself, seeing the trouble he found himself in and knew he had to do something otherwise he will get overrun by them. He didn't worry about it, though. He knew he had a perfect way of making sure they would leave him alone.

He wasted no time and slammed a drum, causing a bunch of wooden spikes to shot out of the ground and impaling all the soldiers around them in them. The ground around him was left clear, leaving all of the soldiers around him impaled as he allowed himself to become focused on Kaltan again. He slammed his drums again, moving the wooden dragons to attack his target again.

Kaltan answered to his attack straight away, slamming his hands against each wooden dragon which got itself close enough to him and cutting into into pieces like it was nothing to him. W didn't let this get to him, though and continued with his assault, knowing one landed hit with his wooden dragon can help him and the others. He kept looking directly at Kaltan, refusing to glance anywhere else as he wanted his opponent to know he was not afraid of him.

It was when another problem for him and his fellow watchers arose, though as the ground underneath them began to shake. All of them knew what it was straight away. It was one of the Tanks. One of them must have just come out of the nest. W shifted his attention away from Kaltan towards the source of the rumbling, seeing the charging Tank and knew he had to do something about it.

He had a perfect way of taking care of it as well. One of the functions of his drums would take care of it right away. He slammed one of the drums, summoning a massive wooden bull and the wooden bull charged towards the Tank. The bull reached it's target a second later, slamming into it and knocking it away as it charged towards it again in order to make sure it was dead before doing anything else.

Kaltan glared down at W, having just destroyed another one of his wooden dragons with a swat of his hand like it was nothing but a pesky fly. Just as he was about to do something to W to get rid of the annoyance of his constant wooden dragons, he felt something hitting his shoulder. He shifted his attention to N and saw her behind him, firing off the power beams from her power glove. The power shots hit Kaltan in the back and shoulder, the monster only grunting from the impact of the shots.

He looked up a second later and watched as not only B, but also Q flew towards him as B used his gauntlet to make both himself and his best friend float above the ground. Looking away caused Kaltan to nearly miss the K leaped forward in his direction. He wasn't ready when K landed a powerful kick on him, almost making him stumble backwards. The monster roared, swnging his hand to swat K away like an annoying fly that she was but K saw it straight away.

The female watcher twirled around in the air, leaving herself out of his grasp and safely falling on the ground as B and Q made their way to Kaltan. Together, the two watchers intended to launch a combined attack and would definitely manage to land it on their target if it wasn't for one thing. Kaltan's wings. Kaltan moved his wings, creating a wave of wind and knocking the two watchers away from him.

B glanced at Q in worry, seeing his best friend falling to the ground without anything to support her and quickly grabbed both her and him with the Space Stone again, allowing both of them to land safely on the ground. Having just stopped an attack from these two, Kaltan turned around only to met with a a wooden dragon heading his way again. Kaltan grunted and growled, growing tired of him constantly needing to face him and destroyed it by slamming his hand against it.

Kaltan glared at W, interrupted by a few more power blasts from N's glove. The monster roared, holding his hands out as he intended to show them more of his abilities in action. He fired a stream of lightning straight for W and N. The energy barely struck them, both W and N fleeing from it's impact zone as Kaltan continuously fired at them. Once more, the monster was interrupted as K made herself known to him again.

K delivered a powerful strike against Kaltan's chest after being launched in the air with the Space Stone with B's help. Kaltan's clenched his teeth, actually feeling the impact from K's move this time and and it wasn't over for him as it was followed by B launching Q in the air. The female watcher glared at the monster in front of her, launching a power beam from her medigun and hitting Kaltan with it.

Upon seeing both K and Q launched their attacks, B knew he can't get left behind and decided to put the Reality Stone to good use here. He glared at the monster in front of him as he swiped the Gauntlet across him, the Reality Stone changing the rocks from the debris around him and the others into a flock of ravenous birds. Without wasting another second, he unleashed the birds upon Kaltan.

Kaltan growled, seeing the birds swarming him and all of them attacked him as soon as they found themselves close to him, constantly pecking, ripping, and tearing at his flesh. The monster gritted his teeth, moving his body in order to swat the birds away from him as he moved his wings again to create another wave of air. It worked exactly like he wanted, sending the birds away from him.

However, more of them came flying at him as B prepared himself for such possibility and prepared a plan for it. Using the Reality Stone again, he created another group of birds out of stones. The new wave of birds flew towards Kaltan, beginning to do what their predecessors were doing upon reaching him and eating as much of Kaltan's flesh as they could. Needless to say. The newly created birds enjoyed their meal.

Kaltan looked around himself, wanting to get to know his situation in the moment and saw W's bull laying waste on his soldiers, both normal soldiers and the Tanks. He saw the watchers were preparing themselves to launch another attack on him as well, using him being covered by the flesh eating birds to their advantage. He set his eyes on W, knowing the said male watcher will launch his attack on it first as the other watchers from W's group were slowly regrouping to launch another series of attacks on him.

His suspicion were proven to him as W slammed his drums at him, sending another round of wooden dragons at him with hopes of Kaltan being too focused on the birds feasting on him to do anything about them. He was wrong, though. Kaltan had an idea, though. It was something he was waiting to do, waiting for the perfect moment to do it and this perfect moment came. Especially since the watchers were probably thinking they finally started getting the upper hand on him.

He intended to show them how wrong they were and it was exactly what he did. He let out a terrifying roar as he raised his hands up and the storm clouds around them started going crazy. The lightning fired down from the sky at the ground below them. Neither sides of the fight were safe. The first blows of the lightning bombardment were like a terrible killing blows. The yellow bolts made  contact with the ground and everything in it's path was decimated.

W's wooden bull was one of the main victims of the bombardment as the lightning hit it, leaving nothing out of it in the process. B's birds fell as the victims to it as well. It wasn't the only victim of it, though. Kaltan's own forces were destroyed by it as well, leaving many soldiers of both nomal types and Tanks dead. Kaltan didn't think much of it, knowing his forces can be recreated in minutes and saw it as a necessary sacrifice which made to be made in order to defeat his opponents.

The effects of his lightning bombardment began to show even more a second later as the watchers began falling victims to them as well. K knocked off her feet by a lightning which hit the ground next to her while she was doing her best to avoid them to no avail. Everything afterwards fell down like a domino effect. K being knocked down was followed by Q sharing the same and the two were female watchers were followed by W and N. W clutched onto N as they fell, the male watcher screaming as the lightning blasts surrounded them.

B looked around himself, wanting to know if someone else managed to keep themselves on their feet after the sudden lighting attacks and saw only he was on his feet right now. W, N, K and Q were all knocked down and were trying to collect themselves with the lightning blasts surrounding them. Knowing it was the moment Kaltan was waiting for and knew Kaltan will definitely use this as a chance to take them out.

The male watchers let out a deep nervous breath, knowing he can't let that happen and knowing he had to keep Kaltan focused on him until the others will collect themselves from what just happened. The Space Stone on his gauntlet began glowing, allowing him to launch himself in the air as he intended to do this even if the thought of facing the monster all by himself was mkaing him scared on the inside and Kaltan instantly took notice of the one remaining watcher standing in his way of putting an end to this fight.

B's gauntlet began glowing purple, beginning to gather the power of the Power Stone as he avoided all the lightnings from the bombardment. Kaltan noticed him coming his way, having been looking for the last of the unruly wretches standing in his way as B delivered a powerful strike against Kaltan's cheek after lifting himself tall enough to reach it, the added force of the Power Stone actually managing to make the monster stumble backwards a bit. 

Due to Kaltan stumbling backwards by the force of the punch, the bombardment of the lightnings stopped and K, Q, W and N were allowed to pick themselves back up quicker than they would if bombardment was still happening. B didn't know how long it would take them, though. He intended to making sure they had all the time they needed, though. Even if the thought of him going against Kaltan all by himself for who knows how long was still making him scared on the inside.

Kaltan collected himself rather quickly, glaring at B as he focused himself on the male watcher only. The monster growled, making B clench his teeth as the male watcher kept himself in the air. Using the Reality Stone,  he launched pillar of rock with a sharpened end directly into Kaltan's stomach. The pillar pierced Kaltan through it's stomach, making the monster growl.

The monster didn't think much of it, though as he was not intending on this single little wound to stop him. He survived far worse wounds. He grabbed the pillar with his hand, pulling it out of his stomach as B saw this and knew what to do next. Not wasting any time, the male watchers began creating more stone pillars with sharpened ends and Kaltan kept his guard up, working as quickly as he could in order to avoid getting stabbed again.

He succeded in most of the times, having been pierced two more times after B launched his pillar attack on him.  To make everything worse for Kaltan, B was not only using the Reality Stone to create the pillars. The male watcher was also shooting an energy from the Power Stone whenever Kaltan had to pull the pillar out of his body to continue fighting due to it limiting his moving space a bit.

B used Kaltan having a limited moving space the best he could after he managed to pierce Kaltan for the third time, gathering the Power in the Power Stone. With a growl leaving the male watchers lips, he unleashed a Power Stone blast so utterly raw and universally powerful that it ripped through the air at a screaming shock wave, fueled only further by the four other Stones. Kaltan reared  his head backwards, screeching as he dove his hand forward and unleashed lightnings from his fingers.

Kaltan was a bit too slow, though as the combined strenght of the Infinity Stones hit him right int he heart and made him stumble backwards again. It wasn's just a normal stumble backwards, though. It almost made him fly backwards. Kaltan screeched out, the wings extending but unable to catch flight in time as he had to stop himself from collapsing from the force of the blast which just hit him.  

Despite everything, the monster continued not to think much of it even if still felt the effects of the massive blast from the Power Stone. He knew those wounds meant nothing to him. What he cared about however was taking care of the annoying watcher which was not leaving him alone and was giving his friends more time to collect themselves. He had to get rid of this annoyance and he knew the perfect way for it.

He began raised his hand up against, allowing B to stab him with two pillars and summoned one massive lightning. B noticed the lightining heading his way, quickly floating away to get away from it, What he didn't expect however was the fact that the lightining would follow him like an angry dog. Controlling the lightining directly, Kaltan continued to guide it towards B and intended to keep like this until it will catch up to B.

Kaltan got what he wanted a second later as the last one remaining Tank soldier from before the bombardment. The Tank threw a massive piece of stone at B and B's eyes widened when he came it flying towards him. He moved out of it's way, avoiding it just in time. However, it caused him to slow down a bit and Kaltan immediately put it to his advantage by hitting him with the lightining he was guiding.

B's eyes widened the moment Kaltan hit him with the lightining, feeling the pain anyone would feel after getting hit by it. The pain didn't stop, though. It only oncreased Kaltan was not stopping just a single hit of the lightining. His intentions were completely different. He kept the lightining on B, making sure it would keep hitting him as B felt as if he was getting fried up alive, feeling the pain which came with it.

It hurt.

It hurt a lot.

B had never felt such tremendous pain before. He felt like was being burnt alive after being skinned alive as Kaltan kept the lightning on him, frying him up as much as he could and making sure the male watcher would feel as much pain as possible before his inevitable death. B felt his vision fading away, feeling the lightning getting to his eyes as his clothes were slowly getting burned away from his body.

Q, W, N and K watched everything with horror written over their faces, having just gotten themselves back on the feet as B was knocked away from the lightining, his heavily damaged and burned body flying away and sliding across the ground like a sack of potatoes. All of them watched his body hitting the ground in horror, seeing how motionles it and leaving all of them convinced their fellow watchers had just died.

All four of them shifted their attention to Kaltan with glares on their faces and their expressions turning more murderous and rage filled, feeling whatever they were feeling before being replaced with anger and rage. All the nervousness they felt back when they first approached Kaltan and started their fight with him was gone. Now all fthey could think about was killing Kaltan for what he did to their fellow watchers. 

No one felt this more than Q, though. The female watcher felt a bunch of negative emotions going through her body. Sadness of seeing her best friend die. The shock and pain which came with it. However, all of those feelings were nothing compared to the pure bloodlust and rage she felt right now.

"I'll fucking kill you!" She shouted, feeling pure bloodlust going through her veins as she pulled out her medigun again and launched an attack on Kaltan again

Q jumped into action upon uttering her rage filled words, followed by the rest of her group as the watchers intended to do whatever it takes to make sure Kaltan will not make it out of there alive. W slammed his drums repeatedly like there was no tommorow, unleashing as much as wooden dragons as he could in order to keep Kaltan occupied as much as he could while the other three watchers would make their move.

Kaltan growled, moving his hand around to cut through every wooden dragon which was directed at him by W. There was something off about his movements, though. They were slower than before. All of the watchers noticed it straight away, knowing the powerful blast from B's gauntlet must have done more damages to Kaltan than they thought and intended to make the best of this new information. 

The monster noticed the watchers doing something, knowing he had to do someting to make them lose their focus and ordered the last remaining Tank to attack them. The Tank didn't get to do anything to them, though as W reacted to the view of it straight away and formed a new wooden bull. The wooden animal was more than eager to take care of it's enemy and charged at it, leaving it occupied and killing it just a second later.

Kaltan shook his head, seeing how the situation was turning against his favor and his slower movements weren't doing anything to help him get out of this situation as he knew he had to do something to turn it everything his favor again. Just as he began to prepare himself to bombard the watchers with his lightining again, he felt something land on his shoulder. He shifted his gaze to his shoulder, seeing there was nothing there. 

He got his answer to what it was a second later as Skyler appeared in his view. Being a Dramillion, Skyler used her invisibility to approach Kaltan when he was busy without getting spotted in the process and it worked perfectly. Not wasting any time, the female dragon launched a fire attack directly at his face and leaving the better part of it burning before taking off into air.

Skyler wasn't the only dragon which arrived at the location, though. Shay was with her, waiting in the storm clouds for the perfect opportunity to attack.  The male dragon made himself known a second later. Using the speed and agility of the Stormcutter, he flew out of the storm cloud and launched his own fire attack at Kaltan upon finding himself close enough to him. Finding himself covered in fire more, Kaltan wasted no time when it came to shaking it off as Skyler and Shay flew away from him.

"Skyler! Shay!" N exclaimed in her mind upon seeing her and W's dragons arriving at the scene to help them, despite both of them telling them to stay away from the fight. She had no idea if she should be mad them or happy at them for arriving. Considering the situation, it would probably be the latter.

"You annoying worms!" Kaltan growled out his insult towards the two dragons, shaking off the fire off of him.

Just as the fire vanished from his body, Kaltan glanced back at W as W glared at him hatefully. If it was any other circumstance, then the male watcher would know he would be smirking due to he attack he was about to launch at Kaltan. It was his last move and very special move. Slamming the drums in a strange combination, the male watcher unleashed an extremely loud and powerful sound waves.

Kaltan was hit the sound waves a second later, feeling himself getting slowed down by them even more in his already weakened state. In fact. He had to do his best to avoid getting knocked down as he struggled to keep himself on his feet. If he wasn't as weakened as he was right now, then he would know he would be able to handle himself against this attack. However, right now he found himself struggling against it.

It wasn't over, though. The watchers had more plans on what to do with him here. Q and N glared at him, unleashing their own power attacks from their weapons as Skyler and Shay arrived to help them again, launching more fire attacks on Kaltan. W's wooden bull joined them a second later, charging into Kaltan and leaving him struggling even more. Finding himself growing more overhelmed, Kaltan looked around himself as he tried to find a way how to escape this situation.

The sound wave stopped a second later, making Kaltan think it was over and his job would be easier even if Q, N, Skyler, Shay and the bull kept attacking him. He had no idea how wrong he was, though when he saw W and K standing next to each other. W summoned more wooden dragons a second later, leaving K on top of one of them as they moved towards Kaltan with an obvious intentions.

Kaltan growled, growing more desperate due to all the attacks he was dealing with right now he attempted to destroy the wooden dragon with K on top of it befoe it could reach him. He managed to destroy the dragon but K was nowhere on top of it when it happened. Having noticed what Kaltan was planning to do straight away due to how many times he did this since the fight started, K jumped from one dragon to another and was directly in front of Kaltan before he knew it.

The female watchers launched herself in the air a second later, having only one intention in her mind as she landed a powerful kick on Kaltan's head. Kaltan's head drew backwards due to the force of the attack, feeling the effects of the powerful kick and everything was finished off by the wooden dragons stabbing him through his body. He felt multiple things stabbing him through his chest as W stabbed him with as much as of the wooden dragons as he could at the moment, leaving his body pierced in multiple places.

It wasn't over, though. Everyone kept assaulting Kaltan even when he found himself in such a state, not thinking about stopping even for a second as N and Q continued to launch attacks with their weapons while Skyler and Shay continued to fly over him, leaving more places of his body burning in the process. Kaltan felt himself growing weaker with each passing second, leaving himself unable to even more to do anything as he didn't have power to do anything anymore.

He knew what it meant...

He was dying...

They defeated him. 

Those watchers who barely had any experience had actually defeated him...

Kaltan felt a bunch of emotions going through him upon realizing this was his end. He felt despair filling him. It wasn't filling him because he was dying, though. It was filling him because  defeated him and he had failed his master creator. He won't fulfill his dream. His dream will fade away into nothigness and will never become true. All the time he had spent waiting to make his move was all for nothing. It was just a waste of time and effort. It was just a waste of all the time his creator had put into creating him...

"I'm sorry master creator..." The monster uttered out his final words with his tone sounding like he was on the verge of tears, feeling life fading away from him with each passing second as he slowly fell backwards, the wooden dragons sliding out of his wounds and body landed on the ground with a loud thud.

W, N, K, Q, Shay and Skyler watched Kaltan's body hit the ground like a ton of bricks, creating a small earthquake around them. None of them paid much attention to it, though as an earthquake was nothing compared to what they had just gone through. All of them just stood there with W and Q lowering their weapons, letting out deep breaths as they allowed themselves to process what just happened.

They did it...

They defeated him...

They were pushed out of their thoughts a second later as they glanced at the nests and the bodies of Kaltan's soldiers around them vanished. Faded away from nothingness. Not only that. Kaltan's body joined them a second later, beginning to fade away as well only the process of it was slower due to Kaltan's body being much bigger. The storm clouds vanished as well, revealing the sky to the group and the sun which was slowly starting to go down.

The effects of Kaltan's death were felt throughout the entire city. All of Kaltan's soldiers suddenly stopped attacking everyone, fading away into nothigness and the same happened with their bodies, leaving nothing out of them. Everyone from the watchers side of the conflict watched it happen in suprise, not knowing what to make of this at first until realization of what must have happened with Kaltan being most certainly defeated hit them like a ton of bricks.

The reaction of everyone from the watchers side of the conflict to their victory over Kaltan was instant. Cheers filled the city in second as everyone began celebrating their victory over the monster. Various gestures like hugs and pats on her backs were exchanged between everyone in their celebration with some of them sitting down, feeling how the relief of them defeating Kaltan was enough to make them lose power in their legs.

However, the group which fought Kaltan directly was not celebrating their victory in any way. All of them were not focused on their victory. They were focused on the cost of it which came with B. All of them set their attention on his unmoving mangled body, eyeing the state it was in for the first time since B was wounded by Kaltan. All of them, especially Q were left horrified. His state was terrible to say the least. 

His face looked terrible, having been left heavily disfigured with various face scars and burns and it looked like it was barely holding itself together. That wasn't all. The upper part of his clothes were burned away, revealing not only his face was scarred by Kaltan. The upper part of his body was scarred in some way as well. Pink scars you'd normally see in a person which got hit by a lightining went down his neck all the way to his stomach.

Q slowly pushed herself into walk towards B, her steps being slow and feeling like she was seconds away from losing her power in them and collapsing on the ground. As she neared her best friend lifeless body, she felt stench of burned meat hitting her like a ton of bricks. She didn't care about it, though. She only cared about reaching her best friend which was something she did just a few seconds later.

"D-Dawid..." She said tearfully, calling B by his real name as she fell on her knees in front of B and grabbed her best friend like her life depended on holding him. It was when she couldn't contain her tears anymore and let out a pain filled cry, souding like someone had ripped her heart out as she started to sob. 

She placed her head against his chest, crying into it as she was certain her best friend was dead due to his wounds. No one. Even people with extended durability would have survived that. W, N, K, Shay and Skyler looked at her sadly with K and N looking close to tears themselves and W looking like he was trying to hide him being close to tears as well. Even though they weren't as close with B as Q was, he was still their friend and their fellow watchers. Losing any watcher would have been hard for them.

It was when Q's eyes widened as she felt something against her chest when she hugged what she thought was his lifeless body. She knew what it was straight away. 

It was breathing. 

Her best friend was breathing. 

He was still alive. 

He still could have been saved. 

She turned towards W, N and K in an instant upon feeling his breathing on her, "H-He's alive! He's alive! Guys! We need to get help for him! Now...!"

Here we go with the third part of the Kaltan Incident. It was just as exhausting and time consuming for me to write as I expected even if I had to do some shortcuts in order not to make this already long chapter even longer. Anyway, now we have only two chapters left in this flashback arc.
