It was a normal morning at the watchers HQ even if the cold night and weather of January was was still evident. All of the residents of the HQ made the best of their first morning after their Kaltan fight by either sleeping longer than before to get back all the sleep they had lost because of it or doing whatever they could to take a well deserved rest after their rather eventful start of the new year.

Even if all of them were doing whatever they could to relax and kill their stress caused by everything related to Kaltan, all of them were having a hard time doing so. Despite everything having ended rather well with them defeating Kaltan, the thought of what happened with B almost dying and being scarred for life and D having his mental breakdown remained in the back of their minds and they found it hard to relax because of it.

The Eds were among them, dealing with their own feelings regarding what happened with Kaltan as the three boys were slowly coming to terms with everything their new situation had to offer to them. Despite them having already accepted their new powers with Ed and Eddy being more than eager to train them to become stronger, Ed and Double were still coming to terms with the fact that this place was their new home and who their new roommates were. Eddy seemed to have accepted it straight away with no problems.

Everyone from the group of three friends was up on their feet now. Double D woke up as the first member of the trio, being an early riser and afterwards woke up Eddy and together the two woke up Ed. Even if Eddy and Ed were still sleepy, Double D managed to convince his friends to get up at this time as all of them had a long day ahead of them due to them needing to get to know their new home better today. 

All of them were walking along the hallway right now, having woken themselves up around the same time as they were on the way to the kitchen to get something to eat. All three of them walked in silence, having not said a word to each other after leaving Ed's new room a moment ago. The silence between them didn't last long, though as Double D tried to start a conversation with them, having a few things he wanted to address.

"...So how did you slept last night?" The hat wearing boy broke the silence between him and his friends as they went further down the hallway.

Eddy glanced at him when he gave him his answer, "Strange. But a good kind of strange. Like when you settle down in a recently built home and know it will be better than you last home"

"The beds here are so comfortable!" Ed added to Eddy's asnwer, "Way more comfortable than the one I had in my room..."

"Glad to know you slept well Ed..." Double D sighed as he exchanged glances with Eddy. Having seen the conditions Ed was living in before, they knew the rooms the HQ had was a massive improvement for Ed. The hat wearing boy voiced his opinion on the matter a second later, "As for me, I'd say I felt strange like Eddy, but I can't say it was a good kind of strange. I constantly thought myself thinking back about my old home when I found himself close to falling asleep."

Eddy deadpanned slightly, "Are you still talking about that? You couldn't stop talking about it yesterday before and even after we were taken here by C and R and the other three watchers."

Double D raised his brow at him, "Can you blame me, though? Moving here was a big decision and it's not everyday you leave your homeworld and everyone you've known there behind..."

Ed nodded in agreement with a slightly saddened expression slowly forming on his face, "Yeah. I already really miss Sarah. My baby sister is all alone with my parents now..."

"If you say so, Lumpy..." Eddy sighed sadly as Double D looked at Ed with a saddened looked on his face. If he was honest with himself, he knew what was not the case here as she knew Sarah was probably celebrating she won't have Ed around anymore. She and her family were the easiest to convince to allow Ed leave with the watchers as well. Honestly, it made both him and Double D feel bad for Ed.

Double D decided to take the subject of the conversation away from Ed's family and decided to ask Eddy further about his feelings regarding leaving their homeworld. His eyes narrowed at him slightly in a suspicious manner, "As I was wanting to ask you, You really never second guessed our decision to move here. Even for a second? Eddy?" 

"Why should I feel like I want to go back there or live there? We've always been outcasts there." Eddy pointed out to his friends and pointed at Ed, "Lumpy had his stupidity." He moved his finger to Double D, "You with your fancy and smart words and high level-smarts or whatever." He ended everything with pointing at  himself, "You already know me. If anything this place is like a chance for a fresh start for all of us. Together, we will take on the multiverse together with our sick new powers. How does that sound?"

Ed answered him by giving him a cherry bone crushing hug, "That's sounds awesome! The Eds will take over the multiverse like the Mutants for the Planet of Potatoes."

"Alright. If you put it like that." Double D allowed himself to smile at that as Eddy cringed in pain from Ed's bone crushing hug, "If you call it our fresh start, then let's make sure we will make the most of it."

"Now that's what I like to hear!" Eddy smiled at his friends mood litting up as bit even his smile was a bit strained due to the force of the hug Ed was putting him through. His hugs were going to be more of a pain to him due to Ed's power increasing his already extreme strenght, "...O-Okay Lumpy! Let me go! You're going to crush me before we'll do anything!"

Ed smiled at sheepishly as he pulled away from Eddy, "Sorry Eddy."

"Just watch out next time. Okay?" Eddy asked, rubbing his sore bones from the hug to make the pain from Ed's hug go away.

Double D nodded in agreement, "Eddy is right, Ed. You're now stronger than before. You need to watch out when you'll be hugging someone again."

Ed saluted at them, "Alright!"

Double D smiled at him and shifted his gaze between his friends, "Now how about we make our way to the kitchen and have something to eat. From what Miss. C and Miss. R told us, one of their fellow watchers will cook everyone breakfast again. We should go there and make the best first impression we can to the watchers who will be eating breakfast there."

Eddy instantly smiled at Double D's idea, "Now, you're speaking my language here. I'm starving."

Ed nodded in agreement, "I could eat a horse."

"I'll take an entire ranch." Eddy joked, getting chuckles out of himself and Ed.

Double D smiled at his enthusiasm of both of his friends, having lost all the second thoughts he had for now due to Eddy's motivational talk to him and Ed. Not wasting any time, all three of them went back to what they were doing a second later and made their way to the kitchen with some difficulties due to them not knowing where the kitchen was located. They will really need to ask someone to show them around or give them a map of the place. They would do it yesterday if it weren't for the being too busy unpacking and settling down in their new homes.

Upon entering the dining room and the kitchen, the Eds noticed everyone who was having a dinner there right now. They noticed a few watchers as Q, J, L, E, H and Y were all gathered around the dining table, eating whatever was served to them and having a small talk and were accompanied by Devola and 60. The three friends exchanged glances with each other and nodded before moving into the room.

"Good morning everyone." Double D made himself known to everyone a second later when they were close enough to them as everyone stopped whatever conversations they were having right now and glanced at them.

"Hey. It's the new blood." E remarked upon laying his eyes on the three boys. All of them had to admit something as they ate their breakfast together. It was kind of weird having a breakfast in a HQ which wasn't filled with people like it was for the last week.

Double D raised his brow at the nickname, "The new blood?"

Devola quickly cleared it up to him, "This is how every new resident of this place is called whenever they move here. Shay and Skyler were last new bloods and now it's you..."

"Cool." Ed replied, liking the nickname.

 "Oh..." Double D hummed in understanding, "Isn't that a bit eerie, though?"

"Esdeath seemed to like it." Devola shrugged her shoulders as she elbowed 6O, "Right, 6O~?"

"Y-Yeah." 6O gave a nod of confirmation with a blush on her face. 

Y shrugged, "It's Esdeath. She likes anything which has to do with stuff like this."

Double D raised his hand like he was a student in school, "Excuse me but can we grab ourselves something to eat from the kitchen?"

J smiled at him as she gave him and his friends her permission, "Yeah. Go ahead."

"You don't need to ask us regarding stuff like this. You live here now, after all." L added in his usual stone cold voice as he took a sip from his morning coffee. If Double D was honest with himself, it creeped him out a bit.

"Alright. Thank you." Double D smiled gratefully, remaining slightly creeped out by L and his nature.

The Eds wasted no time afterwards and quickly went into the kitchen where they would get themselves something to it. They didn't have to look for good for long as they found whatever was prepared for today on the kitchen counter. The three friends grabbed three empty plates and quickly placed whatever they were interested in eating on them. Unsuprisingly, Ed's breakfast consisted of butter toast and butter toast only.

The three friends made their way back to the dining table a second later and allowed themselves to take their seats. All three of them sat close to each other, keeping themselves close to Devola and 6O due to them being their fellow characters who moved into this place. Not wasting any time, the three friends dug into their food and began to eat while feeling the eyes of everyone around them.

J smiled a bit when she saw what Ed choose for his breakfast, "Butter toast, huh?"

Ed nodded in confirmation with a smile on his face as he picked up a toast and bit into it, "Yup! The best breakfast ever."

"Good to know as I made them specifically for you." J's smile grew a bit, "I remembered it being your favourite food in the show so I thought I'll make this for you to make you feel welcomed here."

"Thank you!" Ed expressed his gratitude, still chewing on his butter toast.

"J is a great cook." Y added, "If you will be interested in eating something, just ask her and she'll make it for you."

E nodded in confirmation, "She made Ultimeatum for me when I asked her."

"Ultimeatum?" Double D raised his brow at him.

"Too bad she had change the recipe a bit to make it eatible, though." E sighed, "At least the microwave wings were exactly like they were in the show."

H shook her head, "I still can't believe she somehow made them juicy..."

J smiled at them, "It wasn't hard. They were fresh wings. Not the used ones like Benson had in the show."

"What are they talking about?" Eddy muttered under his breath in confusion.

Devola shrugged, "I dunno. Maybe something from their homeworld."

Ed paid no attention to the watchers talking about the food he wasn't exactly familiar with and asked J, "Could you make jawbreakers?"

J placed her hand on her chin, "I never really made anything like this before but I could try making those for you."

"Sweet." Ed smiled as Double D and Eddy seemed excited by it as well.

"I should get going. Thank you for the food J, but I should get going and bring B something to eat." Q who kept herself silent until now spoke up as she got up from her seat and walked back into the kitchen where she started putting on some food on the plate for B. She tried to get him to come eat breakfast with her and the others but he refused, wanting to stay locked in his room.

"I left a dinner for him last night. Has he eaten it?" J wanted to know. She formed a sad look on her face when she found herself thinking about her bringing the food to B last night. The male watcher didn't even acknowledge and just stared at his ceiling as if she wasn't there. Even when she tried calling out to him.

Q shook her head as she walked out of the kitchen with a plate of breakfast food in her grasp, "No. It was untouched and cold when I checked on him before I went here."

"I see." J sighed sadly, feeling bad due to both B's state and the waste of food as Q turned away and walked off with B's breakfast, heading towards his room while Y watched her walk away with a worried look on his face. She shifted her gaze to E and H a second later and asked them about the other watcher everyone was worrying right now, "What about D? Do you know anything about him?"

"He mostly keeps to himself like he did back in the CN CIty." E gave her an honest answer, letting out a sigh as Devola glanced away with an uncomfortable look on her face following the mention of D in front of her.

"X and Z are staying with him." H added with her expression mirroring E's expression, "From what I know from these two, they are planning to take D to the Witcher world with them at the start of the next week. They hope it will help him clear his head and make him not to think about the stuff whch was bothering him."

J nodded in understanding, "I see..."

"Here's hoping this visit will help in whatever he is going throught right now." Y voiced his hopes.

"Yeah." H agreed, letting out a sigh as E silently nodded in agreement.

Everyone ate in silence afterwards until L got up from his seat, "I should get going as well.  I need to prepare."

"Prepare for what?" J raised her brow with a curious look on her face.

"I'm planning to visit Girls' Frontline. I want to make sure I have everything I need for this visit." L provided her an explanation, "I'm not the only one. U is planning to visits Plants vs Zombies..."

Ed's eyes widened a bit in excitement, "...Zombies?"

L paid no attention to the interruption, "...As well as we talked about it two days ago."

"You too?" J asked with a suprised look on her face.

L glanced at her, "What do you mean?"

"You two are planning to go visit a world as well?" J explained what she meant to him, "I'm planning to go to Demon Slayer as well..."

Y shifted his gaze between everyone with a suprised look on his face,  "That makes it the five of us as I'm planning to go to Fire Emblem and S is planning to go to Sam and Max from what he told me yesterday..."

"Make it seven as I have plans to go to the Owl House and I overheard P wanting to go the Genshin world..." H added while looking slightly suprised as E silently watched the conversation with a suprised look on his face. Everyone at the table was silent afterwards, not knowing what to say due to the sudden reveal of so many watchers having plans to visit a world now with the sound of the Eds eating their food being the only noise coming out of the table.

"...Alright. What's up with all of you suddenly wanting to visit worlds at the same time?" Devola broke the silence between as she looked between everyone around her with an intrigued look on her face. 6O seemed curious to know the answer as well.

J rubbed the back of her head, "...You see. I just wanted to find a way to de-stress after all the Kaltan and I thought visiting a world of my liking would be good for it."

"Yeah. Same here..." H admitted as L excused himself from the table again, being more silentl about it this time and walked off to go his room, "I feel like I need it to do this for myself as some sort of vacation from what happened. We kind of deserve it for saving the multiverse from Kaltan as well, right?"

"I suppose." Y agreed with her even if his tone was slightly uncertain. He would feel less uncertain about it if it wasn't such a big amount of the watchers heading off to visit worlds right now.

"You don't need to sound so uncertain about it." 6O decided to chime in to kill off their uncertain thoughts. 

Devola nodded in agreement, "Yeah. All of you deserve it more than anything right now after what you did with Kaltan. You had quite an eventful the start of the new year. How about you spend the rest of it relaxing somewhere in a world of your choosing."

"Yeah. You're right." H admitted with all of her uncertainity fading away, "All of us need our own vacations."

Y nodded in agreement with a smile slowly growing on his face, "Maybe I'll met some handsome fella in the Fire Emblem."

"Huh?" Eddy raised his brow at his choice of words.

"Y is gay." Devola whispered this explanation to him as Eddy nodded at her. Personally he didn't mind stuff like this. He wasn't a homophobe like this dad.

"I can already think of all the food I will cook there once I'll met Mitsuri and Rengoku."J slowly started to smile herself. Her smile faded away from her face a second later, though as she saw Double D holding his hand against his forehead, "Is there something wrong?"

"Yes. I'm fine. Thank you for your concern." Double D assured her and everyone else he was fine, "'m just trying to wrap my head around what you just said. Demons and the Owl Houses..."

"The Owl House has Witches." H corrected him.

Double D quickly corrected himself with his hand still on his forehead, "...Alright. Then demons and witches, all of it will be so much to wrap my head around. Even for me."

Eddy nodded in agreement, "Yeah. What next? Will we become friends with a bunny girl or something?"

Ed's eyes lit up at this, "Bunny girl?"

"Never say never, kid." Devola smirked at him as she and 6O got up from their seats, "We'll be going as well."

6O nodded in agreement, "I want to spend some time with R. She and C should be working on the archives regarding the Kaltan Incident now."

Double D looked at her with an interested look on his face, "This is where Miss. C is?"

Devola nodded in confirmation, "Yup. Her favourite place in the HQ. Aside from her room."

"Why are you asking?" 6O asked.

Double D wasted no time and provided her an explanation, "We were planning to go find C and ask her what to do now once we'll stop eating. Maybe she would arrange us a trip around our new home as well. We didn't know where to look for her, though."

6O looked at him with a look of understanding, "Alright. I can take you there if you want to. I go to visit my girlfriend there daily so I know the road like the back of my hand."

Double  D smiled at her gratefully, "That would be great."

"Thank you android lady!" Ed added to express his own gratitude.

"Mind if I join you, then?" Devold asked as the Eds and 6O looked at her, "It's not like I have anything else to do right now as Popola and A are in my homeworld right now and are handling all the stuff related to the aftermath of all this Kaltan crap."

Double D raised his brow, "You didn't join them?"

"No." Devola shook her head, "I don't feel like coming back to my homeworld."

"Why?" Double D allowed himself to ask this question out of curiosity. Everyone who knew of Devola's backstory exchanged glances with each other at the mention of it.

Devola sighed, "Let's just say I have nothing keeping me there. Me and my sister were outcasts among our fellow androids for something our models did in the past and we weren't treated well because of it. I don't really feel attached to my homeworld because of it and agreed to move in here as soon as A suggested this to me and Devola. I treat this place as a new beginning for myself."

"Yeah. I know how you feel." Eddy sympathized with her as he looked at Devola like she was someone he could relate to.

Devola smiled slightly at him as she gave him a slap on the shoulder, "Good to know we understand each other shortie."

Eddy glared at her, "I'm not little!"

"Yeah, Keep telling yourself that~." Devola teased him, headpatting him as Eddy shoved his head towards her almost as if he wanted to bite her. Needless to say. It got an amused chuckle out of everyone who remained at the table.

Devola and 6O sat back down on their seats, postponing their plans of leaving the kitchen a bit as they waited for the Eds to finish their breakfast. Once the three boys were done eating a few minutes later, Double D went to the kitchen with his friends to return their now plates as they didn't want to be rude. Eddy and Ed, especially the former, didn't really want to do it but Double D convinced to them to do it under the excuse of keeping up the good first impression they were making on their new roommates.

After finishing their breakfast and leaving their plates in the kitchen, the Eds left the dining room with Devola and 6O. Just as they walked out of the room, P and O entered the room and P was instantly questioned by Y, H, E and J about her plans to visit Genshin Impact. Upon being questioned by it by the others, it came out P was not the only watcher who was planning to visit a world. It turned out O was planning to visit Metal Gear Solid as well and it earned a bunch of new questions from everyone.

The Eds stopped paying attention to the conversation going on between the watchers after finding themselves out of their hearing range and focused themselves on following Devola and 6O to C and R's workroom.  They reached their destination shortly after and the screaming match between a pleading R and an annoyed C was the first thing all of them heard upon making their way to it.

"R! For the last time. We're not calling ourselves the "Anti-Kaltan Squad"! We're sticking to the watchers and their allies." C's annoyed voice rang through their ears as soon as they stopped in front of the door.

"But you agreed for B, Q, W, N and K to be called "The Kaltan Five" when I brought up this idea to you! It's literally the same!" R pointed out with a whine.

"She's right, you know." Esdeath agreed with R. From the tone of her voice, everyone could tell she was smilling right now. It was confirmed to them a second later and 6O pushed the door open and saw R, C and Esdeath together in the room. R and C were working by their computers while Esdeath was sitting next to R, "Do you have double standards regarding certain things or something~?"

"Listen here..." C began to say. She got cut off from saying more a second later as Esdeath laid her eyes 6O as she entered the room.

The blue haired young woman's eyes lit up at the view of her, "6O!" 

R got up from her seat and walked over to 6O to give her a kiss, "Finally bothered to pay us a visit, hun?"

"I-I just wanted to grab something to eat." 6O explained with a blush on her face as Esdeath got up from her seat and walked over to R and 6O before greeting the latter with a kiss as well. Eddy watched the scene with a slightly jealous look on his face, feeling envious of R having two girlfriends.

R chuckled at her, "I know. I'm just joking."

C cleared her throat, "You mind keep it to yourself? I'm trying to work..."

R turned to her and winked, "You're just jealous you're not in my place~."

"You know we wouldn't mind having you as the fourth wheel~." Esdeath added to R's teasing.

"When you will get it through your brain that I'm not into women." C deadpanned at them as she shifted her gaze to C, "You'd expect someone as smart as you would finally understand this."

"You can call me all you want. No matter what, I'm still smarter than you." R playfully retorted as C looked hurt by for a second. Her hurt expression didn't remain on her face for long, though as she focused herself back on her work on her computer.

Double  D sweatdropped at the scene in front of him as he pointed at R and C, "...Does that happen here often?"

"Between these two? Yeah." Devola nodded in confirmation as she walked in the room and the Eds followed her inside.

R quickly took notice of them entering the room and smiled at them with her playfulness from a second ago being replaced with friendliness, "Hey there. What brings you here?"

Devola pointed at the Eds and provided her an explanation, "These three wanted to talk with C."

C looked up from her desk and saw the Eds. She smiled a bit, "Boys! Good day to you."

Ed waved at her with a smile on his face, "Hi, C!"

"Good morning Miss. C." Double D added with a smile of his own as Eddy nodded at her to show her she acknowledged her greeting.

"How was your first night here?"

"Strange." Double D and Eddy gave the same answer as they did back in the kitchen. Even if both of them had different views on strange. Ed stayed silent and just smiled.

C nodded in understanding, "Perfectly understable. You're not the first people who said this."

"Don't worry boys. You'll get used to it sooner than you think. Trust me on this part." Esdeath added with a smile on her face. The Eds, even Ed, exchanged glances with each other, feeling uneasy all of a sudden after seeing her smile.

"Don't disturb them. It's their first day here." C told Esdeath as Esdeath shifted gaze to C and gave her a playful look. She shifted her attention back to the Eds and asked them, "How has anyone been treating you so far? Have they treated you well?"

"Yes." Eddy nodded in confirmation. There was one person he could think of who wasn't entirely nice to him right now. It was Devola who joked about his height. He looked up at her and Devola winked at him playfully, knowing he was thinking about her joke from earlier.

"We had a nice chat with a few of your friends over breakfast." Double D explained, smilling at the female watchers.

"Everyone here is so nice!" Ed added, having a bright smile on his face.

"Alright. I'm glad to hear it." C nodded with a pleased look on her face, "Do you need something from me?"

"Could you give us a trip around this place?" Double D politely asked.

Eddy rubbed the back of his head, "Yeah. This place is like a maze. We barely made it to the dining room without getting lost in the process."

C shook her head with an apologetic look on her face, "I'm sorry, but I can't take you on a trip around our home now. I'm busy with writing everything down for the archives and it will eat my entire day."

"Oh..." Double D looked slightly disappointed, but understanding of it.

"Someone else can show you around our place, though." C stated as she shifted her gaze to Devola with a questioning look on her face, "Devola. Would you be okay with showing them around the HQ?"

Devola nodded, "Sure. At least this way I'll occupy myself with something until Popola and A will come back."

"Good. Thank you." C shot her a grateful look and glanced back at the Eds, "Devola will show you around in my place. How does that sound?"

Ed nodded at her as he was more than into the idea of having a guide. Even if it wasn't C. Devola seemed nice to him, "Alright."

"To be honest anyone would make a good guide around the place." Double D admitted, not minding this as he and his friends would be shown around their new home and get to know it better either way.

"As long as she doesn't make fun of my height..." Eddy muttered under his breath. Devola overheard him say this and smirked.

C smiled at them, "Alright. I'll see you three later, then. If me and R will get this done today, then I'll try to talk with your later today."

The Eds nodded at the female watchers in understanding and turned away from her along with Devola. The group of four left the room a second later, leaving C in the work room along with R, Esdeath and 6O. The female watcher set her eyes back on the monitor, going back to work while R continued to be lovey dovey with Esdeath and 6O in front of her, leaving her annoyed with her best friend and her girlfriends antics even it it already happened countless times in front of her by now.

C began pressing the keyboards on her keyboard a second later, writing down the details of the Kaltan incident in the document she had opened on her monitor  right now. The document was already labelled by her and R. 

The labell read "The Kaltan Incident"...

"C." She was taken out of her work again a  moment later as R called out for her. C glanced at her friend, expecting her to tease her again but R had a serious look on her face right now.

"Yeah?" C  asked.

"Do you wonder who was the "master creator' guy Kaltan brought up when he towered over the city?" R voiced her question to her as the room grew silent at the mention of him, "From what W, N and K told us when we asked them about their fight with him, he kept bringing him up to them."

C took off her glasses to rub the glass a bit to make it cleaner, "I do. However, I think who he was will remain a mystery for all of us. As you know the last generation didn't bother leaving any information about him in the archives. For all we know he's dead from what Kaltan told B, Q, W, N and K during his fight with them. Not to mention. If he was still around, then they would leave us the info regarding him in the archives like they did with Kaltan."

"Yeah. You're right." R nodded at her as she went over to seat and sat back down on it. She went back to her work as Esdeath and 6O conversed with each other in the background, "I just wish we knew the answer to it, you know? I wonder how powerful the guy must have been if he created a monster like this and was a problem to the last gen"

"Yeah. I know what you're saying." C admitted, having the same thoughts regarding this matter as she went back to her work. This time without any interruptions. At least until R brought up the way the watchers and their allies should be referred to in the archive of this event...

The Eds spent the next three hours following Devola throughout the HQ as the red haired android showed them around the place, showing them all the notable places the HQ had to offer and all of the Eds found themselves a place they would know they would they will have some fun times in the future. Double D for example knew the archives of the watchers will be a place he will spent a lot of time in to study more about the watchers. It would give him a chance to learn more about the last generation of them as well.

The three friends even experienced something none of them would ever experience and it was riding on a dragon. When Devola showed them the outside of the HQ, they stumbled upon W and N who had just finished feeding Shay and Skyler their morning meal of fish. The two watchers afterwards offered the three friends a ride on their dragons and all of them accepted it straight away even if Double D had second thoughts about it. 

They used this as their chance to get to know two of the five watchers who defeated Kaltan and found out about their plans to have a small vacation for themselves in Shay and Skyler's homeworld. The three friends noticed the two watchers were not in a winning as well, despite them having directly defeated Kaltan as they felt guilty over the way the fight went and felt like all the stuff with B wouldn't have happen if things went directly.

The Eds got to know the android who was giving them a tour as well as they conversed with Devola a lot during their tour around the watchers HQ. Even though they already knew the red haired android was a doctor due to them seeing her do her work during the Kaltan fight, they learned a bit more details about her work. She explained the story of her and the watchers as well, explaining how her world came into the contact with them thanks to A who gathered a group and arrived at their damaged world to fix it.

There was something else the Eds noticed about Devola as they learned more about her. It was how much she loved her twin sister with the way she spoke of her. Eddy had to admit this to himself. It made him slightly jealous of Popola as she had a sibling who genuinely loved and cared for her. Ed was kind of hurt by hearing as well, thinking how different the relationship between Devola and Popola was to his relationship with Sarah.

Their last stop of their trip around the HQ was the gym and Devola saw the door was opened and overheard someone hitting the punching bag inside. If she was honest with herself, she was kind of suprised someone was working out there but her suprise quickly faded away when she walked into the gym and saw it was V who was hitting the punching bag. She wasn't the only one. K was present in the gym as well, kicking the punching bag with her barefeet as tried to keep her mind off of everything by practicing her martial arts.

"Should have seen this coming." The android crossed her arms at this view, knowing she should have expected this.

Double D followed Devola inside and looked at her questioningly, "What is it, Miss Devola?"

"Nothing. It's just V in her natural habit." Devola explained as she pointed towards V who failed to notice them or hear them due to her having earbuds in her ears and continued to hit the punching bag. K stopped herself mid-kick and glanced towads the entrance, seeing she and V had an audience now. She was about to make a comment about it, but was cut off by Ed.

"It's the chainsaw lady!"  Ed's expression lit up a bit in excitement upon laying his eyes on V. V raised his brow, having sensed someone screaming in the gym. She removed her earbuds from her ears and shifted her gaze to K questioningly.

K pushed herself into walk towards the Eds and Devola and pointed towards them, "We have an audience."

"What do you me..." V cut herself in the middle of the sentence after laying her eyes on the Eds and the Devola, "...Oh, we have guests. I haven't heard them entering the gym."

"Maybe you would if you weren't blasting your music to the point of going deaf. You gonna lose your ears if you keep doing that. You know that, right?" K asked as she continued to make her way towards the Eds and Devola.

"Can you blame me, though?" V asked K as she followed her, "Devil Trigger is not something you put on a small volume."

"Alright. I can understand it now." K's replied in understanding with her expression growing more understanding as well as she and V made their way to the Eds and Devola.

V smiled slightly at K becoming more understanding as she stopped in front of the group of four and looked at them questioningly, "Do you four need anything?"

"Not really." Devola shook her head as she pointed towards the Eds, "C asked me if I can show them around the HQ and we happened to be passing by the gym when we noticed you two were inside."

Double D waved at the two female watchers to try to make a good impression on them, "Hello."

"Hey, kid." K nodded at him.

"Are you really the chainsaw lady from our city?" Ed asked V, keeping his awe filled eyes on her.

V chuckled, "I see you heard about me."

Eddy crossed his arms, "It was had not to. One of the powerpuff girls kept talking about you and all the stuff she saw you do with your chainsaw suit alongside that guy in the green suit."

"I see. Glad to know I made a good impression on her." V once again chuckled. She just hoped it wasn't the kind of impression it made on I. Her fellow fem watcher couldn't stop oggling her eve since she saw her wreck havoc in her Chainsaw Woman armor.

K shook her head at the mention of V's chainsaw armor, "I still can't believe you kept the fact that you can turn into a chainsaw man from us just so that you can suprise us."

V smiled at her slightly, "Hey. It worked out in the end, right?"

"I suppose." K shrugged, "At least it makes it easier to understand why you made the Doom Slayer out of all people impressed with you."

Double D raised his brow in interest, "What's so special about it?"

"Let's just say my friend is someone who is pretty hard to impress to." V explained to him. She still remembered the feeling she had when the Doom Slayer showed he was impressed by her and her skills. She felt like she had received a medal of honor in that moment.

Devola looked at them questioningly, "What are you doing here, anyway? Everyone is resting and is planning to take some time off after all this Kaltan crap. I thought you would try to do the same."

V shifted her gaze to the android and gave her the answer, "What do you mean? What I'm doing right now is taking vacation. There's nothing better than some good workout at the gym after a few stressful days."

Devola shook her head, "You're weird."

"I know." V admitted without hestation in her voice, "You know what's better than having a good workout at their vacation?"

Devola sighed, "No."

"Having a good demon killing session." V replied proudly.

Eddy's eyes widened a bit, "A what now?"

"Killing demons is one of her hobbies." Devola explained.

"Seriously?" Eddy's eyes widened further as Double D seemed suprised by it as well.

Ed's eyes lit up in awe, "So cool!"

V nodded in confirmation with proud look on her face, "Yup. The Slayer came from a world infested with demons and let's just say I like to join him in his demon killing antics. It's so relaxing."

"How is that relaxing?" Double D asked with a suprised look on her face.

V smiled at him, "You'll have to experience it yourself to understand, kid."

"What about you?" Devola asked as she shifted her attention from V to K due to her not wanting to go further into the topic which was brought up by V, "While I can understand V, I thought you will be resting right now."

K sighed, "I was originally planning to do it, but had to change my plans."

Devola raised her brow, "Why?"

"I just couldn't focus on anything, no matter if I tried to play or read somethng." K explained with a frown on her face, "I felt like I have to take my mind off my thoughts in some way so I went to the gym to practice my kicking a bit..."

"I see." Devola said in understanding, letting out a sigh as she knew what were the thoughts which were bothering K. Or rather she suspected it. She quickly tried to change the subject of the conversation a second later as she set her eyes on the Eds, "Hey. How about you three show them your sick new powers?"

K crossed her arms, "Right. C did tell us you have powers now, but didn't specify to it what it was."

"Could you show them to us?" V asked with an interested look on her face.

"Alright! I'm super strong!" Ed nodded and instantly went to presenting his new power as he rushed over to the punching bag and punched it. The force of the punch was so strong that it send the punching bag flying. She turned towards the others a second later and smiled at them as if it was nothing, "See?"

K's eyes widened a bit, "Wow..."

"Not bad, kid." V smiled at him in an impressed manner as she walked over to Ed and gave him a headpat. Ed's smile grew a bit from the nice gesture as he was not used to receiving it, "Would you mind if you trained with me and O every now and then? We could use a new gym buddy and we can help you with your new power."

"Yes!" Ed eagerly nodded his head, wanting to train with the famous Chainsaw Woman from the CN City.

K shifted her gaze from these two to Eddy and Double, "Now you two."

Eddy pushed Double D forward towards the other remaining punching bag, "Come on, Double D. Show them you can do the same as Ed."

"What?" Double D's eyes widened a bit, "But you know this isn't what my powers are ab..."

"You still have to train yourself in strength. Might as well start now." Eddy explained. Even if he was smilling a bit internally, "Who knows. Maybe your strength improved a bit due to you having your powers. You just have to find out about it now. You want to make a good first impression. Right?"

Double D shook his head, muttering something under his breath as he made his way to the punching bag. He punched it a second later, letting out a painful shriek. Double D clutched his hand painfully and glanced at Eddy, "Eddy! The training is painful!"

Eddy smiled at him slightly, "You're just starting to feel the burn, Double D."

"Yeah. You'll get used to it." V gave him a reassuring pat on his back, "Trust me, kid. I've been there before."

Ed raised his brow at her, "You were?"

V nodded in confirmation and gestured to her toned body, "Yeah. You think I was always like this, kid? It took me years to reach this level."

"What made you work on your body so much?" Double D asked out of curiosity.

V frowned a bit, "I had my reasons."

Double D noticed the frown on her face and decided not to push it as he shifted his attention to K, "What about you Miss. K? What made you train yourself?"

K wasted no time and provided him an explanation, "I found a leaflet for karate when I was a kid and got interested in it. I asked my parents if I could try and everything escalated from there."

Double D's eyes widened a bit, "You've been training since you were a kid?"

K nodded in confirmation, "Yup. I was six when I had my first training."

"Wow." Ed said in awe.

Eddy crossed his arms, "You must be good at it, then."

K shrugged, looking like she didn't want to talk about it all of a sudden, "I suppose..."

"Your skills must have been a great help when you fought Kaltan with the others." Double D remarked.

"It's still wasn't enough." K told him with he expression showing guilt. Everyone instantly knew what she was talking about. V opened her mouth, wanting to say something to her, but one look from K made her realize trying to comfort her would do more harm than good right now.

V quickly tried to change the subject of the conversation as she walked over to the dumbshells and pointed at them, "How about you'll try those out Double D? They're light as feathers to me."

"Yeah. To you." K pointed out as V realized her choice of her words and rubbed the back of her head sheepishly.

Double D slowly walked over to the dumbshells and glanced at V with an uncertain look on his face, "You ain't gonna laugh if I'll fail?"

V shook her head and explained, "One of the golden rules of the gym. You don't laugh when someone is having problems there as you know they are trying to better themselves."

"Couldn't have put it better myself." K agreed. She will never understand people who make fun of the people who are new at the gym and are still learning how to use everything. You shouldn't be making fun of someone for wanting to better themselves.

"Alright. Here goes nothing, then..." Double D replied, relieved by how no one was laughing at him for his failed strength tests. Unlike what happened back home...

Just as he was about to try to pick up the dumbshell, he stopped himself mid-action as the sound of someone falling on the ground and something shattered in the floor rang through his and everyone else's ears. Everyone shifted their attention towards the source of all this nose and realized it came from the hallway right next to the entrance to the gym. Wanting to know what happened, all of them moved towards it.

Upon arrived at the place and walking out of the gym, they saw what happened. They saw B laying on the floor with a broken plate in front of him. The carpet behind him was a bit moved as well, showing he must have tripped over it. That was not all. A bunch of food was laying in front of B as well. The Eds recognized it as the breakfast Q prepared from him earlier today. They could tell the food was not touched by him after it was brought to him by Q.

"Hey. You're the masked guy." Eddy remarked after seeing the scene in front of him.

"B? You okay?" K asked him in worry as she stepped closer to him with V and Devola who showed concern towards him as well.

B slowly started pushing himself back on his feet and uttered to them in a shaky tone, "I-I was on my way to the kitchen to bring the food back there and I lost the sight of my surroundings for a bit and tripped over the carpet."

Devola looked at him in confusion, "Kitchen?"

"W-What is it?" B instantly took notice of the tone of her voice.

Devola sighed, knowing how the male watcher will react to it in his shaken up state and pointed in the direction he had came from, "B. The kitchen is in the other way."

"W-What?" B stuttered out in suprise as he gave up after this and collapsed on the floor again. From the tone of his voice, everyone could tell he sounded like someone had just slapped him across the face. The male left himself in his thoughts. He couldn't even get the ways to the kitchen right even if he lived here for over a year now? Just how useless was he...

"What's going on here?" Everyone looked towards the source of the voice and saw X, Z and D walking towards them with X being the one who uttered the question. She and Z were were at the front of the group of three with D remaining behind them.

X, Z and D made their way to them a second later and X and Z started talking with K, V and Devola about what just happened while D remained silent and looked down at B who kept himself on the floor out of embarassment and shame. B looked up at him after sensing someone keeping their eyes on him right now, having returned his gaze and the two stared at each other for the next few moments with both of them ignoring the conversation going on around them, leaving them completely blurred out in their brains.

The two watchers damaged by the Kaltan Incident stared at each other, looking like they want to say something to each other, but neither of them spoke and kept themselves silent. They focused themselves to the point of D completely ignoring Devola and her being present at the scene. Devola, however, noticed him and became visibly uncomfortable at the sight of him. Her eyes caught her sight of the mark she left on his face as well, making her a bit more uncomfortable as Eddy looked up at her with a raised brow.

B was pushed out of his state a second later as he felt someone place their hand on his shoulder. He jumped a bit, feeling starled by it and saw K crouching down next to him with a worried look on her face. Her worried expression became mixed with an apologetic look one as she noticed his starled reaction and realized he must have not heard her when she approached him and told him she will help him get up.

"I-I'm sorry. I should have made sure you know I'll be helping you up." She told him with a mixture of apology and regret in his voice as she helped him up. B raised his brow a bit. Seeing K acting like this out in the open regarding someone was pretty rare.

"I-It's okay..." B stuttered out to her in a shaky tone as everyone could tell how much of a nervous wreck he was right now.

X looked at him with a worried look on her face, "You okay, dearie?"

"..." B stayed silent, his gaze set on the mess he had just made.

X shook her head at him, "Don't worry about the mess. Someone will clean it up later." 

 "Yeah." K nodded in agreement as she pulled her arm away from him to make him stand on his own, "It was just an accident. Don't think much of it..."

"..." B once again stayed silent, not wanting to say anything as he lowered his head almost as if he wanted to hide himself from everyone. Everyone exchanged worried glances with each other at his behavior as X, Z and D excused themselves a second later, walking off to do whatever they were planning to do together.

"Want me to take you to your room?" K offered to B shortly after X, Z and D vanished out their view by passing a corner at the end of the hallway while trying to be as gentle she can be due to his state.

 "Y-Yes." B slowly nodded his head at he as K wrapped her arm around him again, this time to help him with moving around. The female watcher blushed slightly at the feeling of it but ignored it, wanting to focus on taking him to his room.

"I'll go with you. Better to have two escorts, right?" V added. If this was one of the chances to show B they were there for him like Z and X were doing with D right now, then they had to take it.

B gave her a shaky nod, "O-Okay."

"Alright. Let's go." V smiled at him in a reassuring manner as she placed her hand on his shoulder and began to take him away with K. She kept her hands on him in a soft and gentle manner, making sure he would feel safe and not to stress him out more than he already was. The Eds watched the woman in a small suprise. Despite being the way she was, V seemed like a really gentle and kind person.

Ed shook his head, letting out a saddened sigh, "Poor him."

"Poor them." Double D added, "You heard about what happened with D in the city after Kaltan was defeated."

Eddy once again sighed, "Yeah. Who could have known multiversial deities will be facing problems like this..."

"You have no idea kid..." Devola muttered under her breath.

Double D looked at Devola questioningly, "Was this the last stop of our tour around the HQ?"

Devola nodded in confirmation, "Yup. I showed you everything I had to show you."

Eddy rubbed the back of his head, "What are we supposed to do now?"

Devola thought for a second and got an idea, "How about I'll show you Madness Combat? This is a webseries from the watchers homeworld which I had grown a liking to. You could learn a bit about the watchers homeworld from it as well."

The day was slowly coming to an end and the Eds spent the rest of their day hanging out in Devola's room and watching whatever she showed them from the watchers homeworld. Devola's presentation of the stuff from the watchers homeworld to them mostly involved her showing them all the episodes of Madness Combat she could find on the internet. The android had to admit this to herself. It was kind of fun. It reminded her of her first days in the HQ.

The reactions of the Eds to Madness Combat was something she found funny as well. Her favourite reaction to this series came from Double D as Double D appeared to be genuinely horrified by the more bloody scenes of this series, looking like he was seconds away from turning green because of them. Ed and Eddy's reactions weren't as notable as both of them didn't seem to mind all the brutal scenes in this series. In fact, it just seemed to make them more interested in the series. It especially got Ed interested in it.

Ed clasped his hands excitedly as the last video Devola was planning to show them ended, "...Wow! That was so cool!"

Eddy nodded in agreement, "Yeah. All the fight scenes were fun to watch."

"Glad to know both of you liked it." Devola smiled at the reaction from the two boys and shifted her gaze to Double D, "What about you, kid? You didn't like it?"

Double D placed his hand on the back of his head, "I'm sorry, but that was a bit too brutal for me. I'll never understand how people can enjoy stuff like this..."

Devola chuckled at his reaction, "You'd be suprised, kid."

"Don't mind him." Eddy smirked, "Sockhead is just a pansy."

Ed nodded in agreement, "I showed him my comic books once, but he didn't wanna read them. I think he was a bit scared!"

"Yeah! That's too hardcore for him!" Eddy laughed.

Devola once again chuckle and looked at Double D with a playful look on her face, "Someone is a scaredy cat, huh?"

Double D blushed in embarassment, "I don't need to answer that!"

"Alright. Alright." Devola couldn't help herself and chuckled again. She shifted her gaze to Ed a second later and shot him a questioning look, "You said something about comic books?"

Ed nodded in confirmation, "Yup!"

"Lumpy is a big comic books fan." Eddy explained, "You should see how many of them he has in his room."

Devola nodded in understanding and gave Ed a smile, "How about you show me those comics? They gotta be awesome if they are anything like Madness Combat."

Ed beamed at this, "Ooh! We can read them tommorow if you want to!"

"Sounds good to me." Devola smiled at the excitement this kid was showing.

"What about the other stuff like this?" Eddy asked, referring to Madness Combat, "Does the watchers homeworld have more cool stuff like this?"

"You know it. Humanity will never cease to amaze me when it comes to the stuff they come up with." Devola nodded in confirmation. She shook her head to herself in amusement, realizing she sounded like 9S right now.

Eddy looked at her with an eager and questioning look on her face, "What other stuff do you have in mind?"

"Hmm. How about RWBY or RVB?" Devola suggested, placing her hand on her chin with a thoughtful look on he face, "Both of those series are really popular in the watchers homeworld even if RWBY is a bit controversial." The Eds raised their brows at this, "Some of the watchers are even fans of those series like T absolutely adores RVB. He even compared some of the watchers to the characters like Tucker to R."

"Alright. Sounds interesting enough to me." Eddy looked interested by the thought of watching series, "How about we sit down and watch it together some other time?"

"Okay. Sounds good to me. If my sister will be around, then we can invite her for it." Devola nodded at him, looking like she didn't mind it. Just as she uttered her reply, someone knocked on the door to her room. She shifted her attention from the Eds to it and said, "Come on in!"

The door was opened a second later and C walked into the room. She quickly took noticed of the three boys inside, "There you three are."

Double D raised his brow, "Miss. C?"

"What are you doing here?" Eddy asked. He wasn't disappointed to see the female watcher. He was just suprised, "I thought you and the other watcher chick will be working on the archive for the Kaltan stuff."

"We did work on it and we fortunely finished everything today." C nodded in confirmation, giving him a quick explanation as she looked at the Eds, "I remembered that I promised to have a talk with you once I'll get this done so I went looking after you. Since you were with Devola, I thought I'll go to check her room first so here I am."

Eddy nodded in understanding, "Okay."

C shifted her gaze to Devola and looked at her questioningly, "Mind if I'll take them Devola?"

"No. We just finished. Go ahead." Devola shook her head as C nodded and motioned to the Eds to follow her.

Eddy nodded back at her as he got up from Devola's bed and walked over to C, "Alright. Let's go."

"Thank you for everything today, Miss. Devola." Double D expressed his gratitude to Devola as he followed Devola

Ed waved at Devola as he followed his friends, "Bye friend!" 

"I'll talk to you tommorow, guys!" Devola bid them farewell for the day, offering them a wave of her own as C and the Eds walked out of her room with C making sure to close the door behind them. 

Ed watched C close the door to Devola's room and looked at her questioningly, "Where are we going now?"

"To the living room. We'll talk about the you related stuff there." C replied as she turned away from the doors and walked past the three friends. The Eds nodded in understanding and followed her. She looked over her shoulder at them a second later, "How was your day? I see you made a new friend."

Ed smiled at her, "Devola was really nice!"

"She showed up some nice series from your homeworld as well." Eddy added as Double D cringed a bit at the memories from Madness Combat.

"Just wait until you'll met her sister if you think she's nice." C smiled a bit at this, "I assume the others treated you well as well?"

Double D nodded in confirmation with a smile on his face, "Yes. Everyone made us feel welcomed."

"I can tell moving here was a good call." Eddy agreed with Double D while smilling himself.

"I'm just a bit sad because I can't see my sister...?" Ed brought up the matter of his sister again with a slightly saddened look on his face. Everyone was left by the mention of her and C let out a sigh, feeling like there was something she had to him about.

"Ed? Why do you always let your sister treat you like this?" The female watcher asked. It was something she always asked herself while she was watching the cartoon. Sarah was always one of her more hated characters because of it.

Ed brushed her concerns off, "Sarah is just a little nervous, that's all. If I stay away from her or don't talk with her much, then she doesn't get angry with me so it's my fault for making her angry with me."

"I see..." C replied with a pitful look on her face as Double D and Eddy exchanged glances with each other, both of them looking pitful towards their friend as well.

Ed failed to notice the way all of them looked at him as his eyes lit up a bit in curiosity, "C."

"Yeah?" C raised her brow at him.

"How was your family like back on your homeworld?" Ed voiced his question to her.

C looked slightly taken aback by the sudden question but decided to answet it, "Y-You see. My family isn't exactly what you probably expect..."

Double D looked at her questioningly, "What do you mean?"

C adjusted her glasses a bit, "My parents are not together anymore. I think you know what I mean." 

Ed faced her with a neutral expression, "You mean... they're divorced?"

"Yes." C nodded in confirmation, her face not betraying any emotion.

"What happened between them to make them divorce?" Double D asked in a slight concern for the female watchers.

C provided him an explanation a second later, "They simply fell out of love with each other and were not happy staying married to each other. I was about six when they informed me they would be splitting up. Who knew I would become a multiversial deity twenty years after that..."

Ed's face fell, "That's sad."

C waved it off to show him it didn't touch her much, "You can get used to it. They divorced when I was a kid so they were divorced for most of my life. They remarried as well and I had to grow up with a step-father on my mom's side and step-mom on my dad's side. I got a few step-siblings as well as my mom and her new husband had two kids and my dad and his new wife had three kids."

Ed's eyes widened bit, "Wow. That's a big family."

"Just wait until you'll hear about R's family." C told him, "My step-mom even had a girl around mt age when she married my dad."

"Did you get along with her?" Eddy asked. Having had the kind of brother he had, he hoped that was not the case here for C as he knew how terrible it was.

"Partially." C gave them her answer as the Eds exchanged glances with each other, "It wasn't the kind of evil step-sibling scenario you'd see in movies. Me and her were just completely different people from each other."

Double D raised his brow in interest, "What do you mean?"

C wasted no time and gave him an explanation, "She was the beautiful extroverted girl who you would see popular in school while I was the typical nerdy girl with glasses who stick to her studies. It kind of stuck to our adult life as she got married and even had a kid while I was still single. I was never in a relationship as well as I never bothered myself in this kind of stuff."

"I see." Double D said in understanding as C rubbed her neck in a slight emabarassment, feeling like she had gone a bit too far with her explanation by including the relationship related stuff. She was just glad R was not there. She would use it as another chance to flirt with her.

"Do you miss your family?" Ed wanted to know.

"A bit. They always did their best not to make me feel like I didn't belong with them even if I was the only child my parents had outside their second marriages and even if I was never close to my step-siblings from my dad's side. To be honest most of us miss our families aside from Y and L for their own reasons. We just don't show it much." C nodded in confirmation, letting out a sigh as the Eds exchanged glances with each other at the mention of L. L didn't miss his family? Was this why he was so cold and scary? 

Ed pushed his thoughts away from L and raised his brow at C, "Why?"

"This way it's easier for us to deal with being separated from, you know? The less we think about them, the more we can focus on ourselves and what we are doing now." C explained to him, letting out a sigh as she found herself thinking about D, "Too bad, however, it doesn't work as well as I thought on all of us.."

"Oh..." Ed grew slightly sad at this as Eddy and Double D exchanged glances with each other with their expessions growing a bit more sad. It didn't take the three friends long to realize what was C referring to right now.

C didn't want to end this conversation on a sad note and tried to say something to lit up their moods a bit, "Either way. It doesn't mean we don't know what you might be going through right now. Everyone who lives in the HQ has experienced during their first days here. If you'll feel like you need anyone to talk about it, then I'm here. I'm sure most of us will be there for you to talk about with as well."

"Thank you C!" Ed smiled at his, feeling his mood litting up again as Double D and Eddy smiled at her as well. It was when Ed decided to express his gratitude in his own way as he moved towards C and gave her a tight hug bone crushing hug. C felt her bones were seconds away from getting crushed due to the force of his hug, "You're the best!"

"Y-Yeah. I'm glad you think so Ed..." C stuttered out, cringing from the pain Ed was unintentionally putting her through right now.

"Ed! Remember what I said about watching out for your strength!" Double D reminded his friend, sweatdropping a bit at his friends antics as Eddy laughed at the scene in front of him.

Ed realized what was happening right now and released C from his grasp with a sheepish look on his face, "Sorry!"

"It's okay. Just be more careful next time..." C told him as Ed gave her a nod and a salute. The group of four continued to make their way towards the living room for the next moment until reaching their destination. C looked around herself upon entering the living room, seeing there was no one there at the moment and nodded to herself in a pleased manner. She looked over her shoulders at the Eds a second later, "Alright. Here we are..."

Eddy leaned against the side of the couch and crossed his arms with a questioning look on his face, "What are you going to talk about?"

"We will mostly plan out your training." C gave him an honest answer as the Eds nodded in understanding. She wasted no time and pulled out her chain, suprising the three boys a bit due to how sudden it was, "

Eddy looked intrigued by it, "What do you mean?"

"You see. My super weapon is a chain and it allows me to either lit it up in fire or do some stuff related to ice" C began to explain as she lit up her chain in fire to prove her point to him. Eddy and Double D looked slightly suprised by how quick it was as Ed muttered under his breath how cool it was, "Your power is fire manipulation, right?"

"You know it." Eddy nodded in confirmation, beginning to smirk because he knew where she was going with this as he lit up his hand in fire to show it off to her.

Their conversation continued from there as the Eds planned out their training with C's help. Eddy agreed to train his fire powers with C and Ed was more than happy to train his super strength with V and O. Double D was a bit harder to decide but eventually a training partner for him was found. As the Eds continued to have their conversation with C, all of them came to a mutual conclusion as their first day in the watchers HQ was slowly coming to an end...

Yeah. They were going to enjoy their new home...

Here's the epilogue for the Kaltan stuff and we have finally wrapped his arc up. You have no idea how happy I am to have gotten this arc out as it something I had in mind since 2021. The next chapter will take us back to the current point of the timeline and will take us back to Terra :)

Omake: The Laundry Shoot

A day had passed since Mimi and Mini were brought into the watchers HQ as Q's daughters by B, Q, Molly, A2 and Pyro and the Eds thought about about giving them a better intruduction to them and show themselves as the cool uncles to them. Upon getting the permission from Q to spend some time with the two robot sisters, the three teenagers took them to the best way of showing them they'll be cool caring uncles for them who will make their lives fun.

They took to them to the three laundry chutes at the top floor of the watchers HQ. What instantly caught Mimi and Mini's attention after being brought there was the fact that all of the laundry chutes had the Eds names on them.

"Try to contain yourself, girls!" Double D placed his hands on Mimi and Mini's shoulders with an excited grin on his face, wearing a yellow helmet on his head as he stood between the two sisters. Ed and Eddy were close to them with both of them showing excitement in their own ways, "The adrenaline of it all can be quite overhelming! This will be quite an experience for you two!"

"Wow!" Mimi exclaimed with excitement evident in her voice as if it wasn't something special.

"But Mister. Double D, those are just laundry shoots..." Mini pointed out with a blank look on her face, not understanding the excitement of everyone. Especially her sister.

"Very good observation, Mini." Double D headpatted Mini to praise her, "But listen to what we have to say."

Eddy stepped closer to the two robot sisters and pointed at each chute in front of them, "You see. All of these chutes belong to me and my friends. We asked G if he could install them over here under excuse of wanting to have our laundry delivered quicker about a week since we moved in here about a year and a half ago."

Double D nodded in confirmation as he explained, "We asked him to treat it with the silicone lubricant and you know what that makes?"

"The fastest slide everywhere!" Ed finished excitedly, throwing his arms up excitedly.

Mimi's eyes lit up with excitement, "Really?!"

"That sounds like fun." Mini commented with a hint of excitement showing of her previously blank face.

"Alright, girls. Now just let me get you some pillows for you to use for safety reasons. Better safe than sorry. Am I right?" Double D explained, wanting to make everything safe for the two girls not to face an angry Q later as he walked off to get some pillows for Mimi and Mini.

Mimi decided she didn't want to wait for him as she quickly made her way into the chute before anyone could react and climbed into it, "Woohoo...!"

"Sis?" Mini uttered her sisters name upon seeing her climb into into the laundry shoot. Unfortunely for her, it was already too late to do anything as her older sister went down the chute all the while screaming in excitement and glee.

Double D's eyes widened as he rushed over to the chute and screamed while Eddy and Ed laughed at what just happened, "Mimi! You get back up here and get your pillow!"

Needless to say. Double D later got an earful from Q for not looking out for Mimi when she was with him.
