"So, Lizzy, tell me. What's with you and John?" I rolled my eyes at Kris and her comments. I was over every conversation we had about anyone I was dating. First Nick, then Brett, and now John.

"What do you mean?"

"Ugh, you know exactly what I mean! Have you two..." She paused and looked around, than Leaned to me. "...done it."

"What's 'it'?"
"It it, Liz!"
"No! You asked about all my other ex's. I'm not having sex until I know for sure if I truly love them. If love even exist in this world."
She sighs and rolls her eyes at my comment.

"Sex isn't a big deal you know. It's just something people do."

I sigh, only because I know she won't ever understand. She lost her "v-card" when She was 15. She's turning 18 in 2 weeks. Here I am, a 17 year old virgin, that every girl laughs at.
"I am not having this conversation again Kristen." She frowns at my response.
"You know I hate it when you call me by full name." I giggled and ignored her.

John came up to me and wasn't waving or smiling at me.
"Hello, John. What seems to be the problem?" He looks at me.

"I want to talk to you about something, Liz." I nod, and he leads me away from Kris and into one of the main halls of campus. He clears his throat and opens his mouth, but closed it back.

"John, what I it?"

He sighed. "Liz, I'm ready." I tilted my head. "For?" His eyes got wide and his mouth flew open. I still had a confused expression on my face.  Uh, well, for..." he looked around and scratched his neck, "...it." My eyes got wide and I began to giggle. He looked annoyed when I did so I stopped right when I could. "What's so funny?"

"You."

"How so?"

"I am NOT sleeping with you Johnny!"

"I hate that name."

"You and Kris both."

"Liz, I'm serious, you are my one and only." I looked shocked by his remark. I don't believe in love so fast, even if it's been three months, love just doesn't come to mind. I sighed and shook my head. "Sorry, John, isn't happening."

"But, I love you."

"We don't know love at our age. John I am not ready."

"If you are not ready, and do not love me, then I will end us." I looked down, and thought. I looked back up, walked pass him, patted his back, "Well, it was fun while it lasted." And with that, I was single once again. But I didn't care, my feelings for him wasn't strong. He was indeed a good friend, but it would be only that, and nothing more. I walked back to Kris and smiled.

John followed soon after and just kept shaking his head. Kris gave me her "Oh, there goes number..." whatever this one is. She shakes her head at me. "What?"
"You."

"What about?"

"Asked you for sex?"

"Who? John? Yes, yes he did. And it ended. He let it happen, he gave me choice, so I chose the bath of least effort." She rolled her eyes at me.

The thing about high school it's that, it isn't a popularity contest. It's about finding your clicks. Once you find them, your in the clear. Me and Kris have been friends since we were both three, and after 8th grade, and freshmen year, things changed. She changed. She thought about herself 99.9% of the time. It was hurtful. And still is. I having found my click yet, and I am a jr. I'm high school. As I looked up, I saw Sally. I remember how we both met, it was freshmen year, at a party. I can't forget her. She was so pretty, and collected. I'm not lesbian, nor bi, but she was so pretty in my eyes. As for Kris, well she hates Sally for that reason. Sally was a loner, which is hard to believe looking at her.

"Uh, hey, Sally." Why am I saying Hello? She looked up at me and smiles. Her smile could make anyone melt. "Hey, Liz. Wheres..." she paused and looked around.

"John, you mean?"

"Yeah! Sorry."

"It's okaie, and we are no longer together. I am single pringle." Okaie, this is getting weird. I waved her goodbye and kept thinking. Stupid, what's wrong with you?
