The Next Day

Ironhide's POV

I was awaken from recharge when I hear Blazer patting on my alt door, "Hidey!" She whines, I check my time and see it's two in the morning, "Hidey Iz has ah nightmare!" She whines I could see her tears sparkling in the moonlight, I pop open the backseats let Blazer climb in the back, she whimpers and snuggles up to my seats, "Do you want to talk about it?" I ask gently, "There waz a kitty kat and youz and he ates youz up! Iz waz sad!" She whimpers, I sigh to myself "Sweet spark nothing like that would ever happen, you wanna know why?" She nods, "Because I would have made that Kitty cry like a baby," that makes her giggle it always made my spark warm when she giggled, "Iz sleeps with youz tonight's!" She says and cuddles in the back seats, her small five year old accent had me hooked.

I fizzled a blanket on her and fell back into recharge.

Moments Later

"BLAZER?! BLAZER ANN LENNOX!" I hear Sara cry, I jolt and transform quickly making sure Blazer was safe, "Ironhide! Where is Blazer?!" Sara cries tears streaming down her face, "She's with me," I say then open my sparkling carrier and scoop out the sleeping child, "Oh Blazer!" Sara cries while taking Blazer out of my servos, "Momma Iz has ah nightmare abouts Hidey and ah big Kitty kat!" Blazer says rubbing her small optics, "Baby don't scare me like that!" Sara says holding her sparkling to her chest repeatedly kissing her helm.

"She came to my alt at two in the morning," I grunt while Blazer looked up at me with innocent blue optics, "Well why didn't you come to Mommy?" Sara asks setting Blazer on her hip, "Mommy strong but Hidey stronger!" Blazer chirps kissing her carriers cheek plate, "That makes sense," William shrugs walking out of the house, "Daddy can Iz eats breakfasts with Hidey?" Blazer asks, "Sure," Will shrugs kissing her forehelm then Annabelle comes out "What up Hide?" She yawns with a stretch, "I'm surprised you didn't sleep in until 4 in the afternoon," Will says wrapping an arm around Annabelle's shoulders, "Dad!" Annabelle whines pushing him away, "I'm 18 and will be heading off to college soon! Why treat me like I'm still four?" "Because you'll always be my first child," Will says patting Annabelle's helm.

"Mommy Iz gets ta go with Hidey today's?" Blazer asks making Sara nod, "Oh goody! I get to go!" Annabelle cheers, "Nope," Sara says making Annabelle yelp "What?! I always get to go! Please mom? Please Daddy?" Annabelle pleads, "Like you said 'I always get to go' let Blazer to by herself this time," William says making Annabelle pout, "Maybe next time you both can go," I grunt, "Iz gets ta go with Hidey!" Blazer sings from Sara's hip, "Yes now come on lets go inside and eat breakfast," Sara says and with that they all walk inside while I stretched. You could even hear the air being released from my joints, ah that felt good~

"Hidey! Mommy mades meh homemade donuts!" Blazer says walking out of the house with a plate of homemade donuts, "Wants one?" She asks standing on her tippy toes and holding up the plate, I shrug with an "Okay" then transform and fizzled on my Holoform, I pull down the tailgate and sit Blazer down and I sit beside her.

Taking a donut I start to munch on it. Primus Sara is such a good cook. The flavor exploded in my mouth while the warm bread was chewed, the sugar made the taste even sweeter, "Mmmm" Blazer hums eating halfway through her second donut while I was savoring my first, "Momma is such ah goods cook," Blazer says taking another bite, "I'll have to agree with you there kiddo," I say patting her helm gently, me and that little girl sat there eating that plate of homemade donuts savoring each flavor before Ratchet showed up.

"Ratcet!" Blazer cheers while she climbed off the tailgate, "Blazer?" Ratchet asks himself while she ran up to him, she jumps into his opened arms and hugs the life out of him, "Oh Ratcet how Iz misses you!" Blazer says kissing Ratchet's holoform's cheek plate, "My dear I have missed you too," Ratchet says hugging her, "No more boo boo!" Blazer says showing Ratchet her legs that used to have scratches, stitches and bruises, "That's good and I heard you were coming to spend the whole month at base, is that true?" Ratchet asks making Blazer nod happily, "Oh that is? Oh my Primus I am pretty sure the others are going to be thrilled when they hear you're coming!" Ratchet says making Blazer giggle, "Hey Ratchet!" I hear Annabelle call, "Hello Annabelle," Ratchet greets setting Blazer down who runs back to me, I hoist her up on my tailgate and sit next to her, I smirk when she cuddles up to my side, "I luv you Hidey," she whispers hugging me, "I love you too," I say kissing her helm.

Blazer and Annabelle have felt like my Sparklings to me since I've been around them for so long it felt like they were my responsibility to keep them safe which it was. I would blow my cover just to keep them safe, they were apart of my life now and they'll always be apart of my life no matter what.

Moments Later

"She's already to go to base," Ratchet says after he had to give Blazer a few shots which she DID NOT enjoy, the reason I say that is because she threw a bottle at Ratchet when he pulled out the needle, then screamed at the top of her lungs like she was being murdered, it took me, Will and Annabelle to hold that squirming, kicking, biting, punching five year old down, I shouldn't have taught her how to throw a good punch she got me right in the chassis, if I was human I would have a big bruise right where she hit me. Blazer is currently snuggled in my arms while I sat on my tailgate, "Iz sorry Iz hits you Hidey, Iz didn't means it!" Blazer cries making me hush her, "I'm fine, that's a good girl for throwing a good punch," I praise making her giggle and kiss my cheek plate.

"Your clothes are ready!" I hear Sara call to Blazer, "Okay! Comes on Hidey!" Blazer says and drags me along with her like I'm her personal teddy bear, just like Annabelle once did.

"Alright we'll come visit just to make sure she's okay," Sara says handing me a bag, "I packed her flash cards and everything she'll need for when she's bored," "Babe I don't think Blazer will be bored, she's got the Autobots to keep her company," William says with a shrug, "For the love of God dad put a shirt on!" Annabelle groans walking inside, "Please William!" Ratchet pleads looking away while I covered Blazer's optics and closed mine tightly, "I don't look that bad!" William complains, "Whats goin' on?" I hear Blazer question trying to spilt my digits away from her optics, "Daddy's shirtless!" Annabelle cries, "GROSS!" Blazer squeals, "Hidey! We leave now!" That makes me and Ratchet walk back to our alts and climb in, "I love you Blazer! You too Ironhide! Be careful!" Sara calls, "Love you sissy!" Annabelle says waving good bye.

Base

Me and Ratchet pull into the vehicle hangar, I see all of the others in their alts sitting there patiently, I let Blazer out of my alt before transforming into my bi-pedal mode, "Hidey!" Blazer squeaks when Optimus starts transforming along with the others, "Oppy!" Blazer cheers seeing Optimus giving him her most favorite nickname since she can't say his name. It always come out Optimass or Oztimpus.

"Hello Blazer," Optimus greets, "How's are youz?" Blazer asks making Chromia, Elita and Arcee awe at Blazer's words, "I am good. How are you?" "Iz goods!" Blazer chirps hugging Optimus' ped, "Well I see a human that I'm going to take from Will," I hear Sideswipe says while he and SunStreaker walked up, "Dunstreaker! Dideswipe!" Blazer cheers to the two trouble making twins, "Hey sweetie~" Sideswipe says while she hugged his ped, "Hi Dunstreaker!" Blazer chirps to the yellow twin who only grunts, "Hows has you guyz been?" Blazer asks, "We are just lovely now that your here," Sideswipe says with a smile that Blazer loved from the looks.

"Hide!" Blazer chirps skipping over to me making me kneel down, "What?" I ask but comes out a grunt, "Hi!" She chirps, "Hello," Deno says walking up behind me, "Ek!" Blazer squeaks hiding behind my ped in nervousness she hasn't met Deno before.

"Don't be afraid little one, I shall not harm you," the red Italian Ferrari says in a reassuring tone making Blazer whimper, "Don't be scared if he hurts you I'll kick his aft," I say in a promising tone, "Hidey will gets youz!" Blazer says pointing her finger at the spy making the others do light chuckles, besides Ratchet, SunStreaker and Optimus, "I know," Deno says kneeling down to her level, "You look like William Lennox," "That's my Daddy!" Blazer cheers happily with a smile, "Oh no wonder why you look so much like him," Deno compliments.

Our meeting ends when Blazer yawns "Hidey Iz tired!" Blazer whimpers rubbing her small optics with her servos, "Nap time already? We just got started," Sideswipe frowns, "Thank Primus," SunStreaker grunts making me glare at the yellow twin, "Hidey!" Blazer whines hugging my ped, "I heard you Blazer," I say then pluck her off my ped and into my servo, I set her down on the sofa that is in the vehicle hangar, "Hidey will yous tucks me in? No! Waits Iz want Oppy!" She chirps making our leader chuckle, "Alright," Optimus says walking over to her while she gave him serious puppy dog optics which Optimus fell for.

"Tells me a bedtimes story!" Blazer begs while we all crowed around, "Yeah come on Prime!" Jazz encourages making our leader sigh, Sideswipe, Bumblebee, Jazz, Arcee, Chromia and the Chevy twins sit on the floor surrounding the couch, Optimus cleared his vocals and started to tell a story.

"Once upon a time there was peace on a planet called Cybertron. Cybertron was far out in the stars where all mechs and femme lived in peace and harmony. They were ruled by a princess, her name was Blazer. She was blessed with beauty, loved by all of her people, especially by the Autobots, who were her knights and protected her kingdom from the bad Decepticons that tried to kidnap the princess. One day they had succeeded their mission and kidnapped the princess, the Autobots were in a state of shock at first but were angry, some of them didn't want to show they cared but you could tell when they fought, they were angry. Sir Optimus Prime, commander of the Autobots, promised the mechs and femmes of Cybertron that they would return with their princess and that they wouldn't return until they had her safely home.

The Autobots traveled far from their kingdom and explored the land trying desperately to find their lost princess. After months of searching they found a tall, strong, loyal mech named Ironhide. Ironhide had heard of the princess being captured and followed the trail of the Decepticons he even knew where their base was, Ironhide had agreed to help the Autobots find the princess. Soon they were back on their journey, not very long after finding Ironhide they found the Decepticons base. But standing outside of the gate was two pranksters named Sideswipe and SunStreaker. The two twins were keeping guard like they were forced too by Megatron, leader of the Decepticons. Both Sideswipe and SunStreaker were unaware that the Autobots were there for the princess before Ironhide could explain, Sideswipe called impostors making Ironhide knock him and SunStreaker out before they could call for more help."

"Once inside Optimus and the Autobots walk the long dark empty halls of the base they hear beautiful singing coming from one of the cells. Listening to the voice was like listening to a angel singing their tune while you accepted your fate into their arms. Most of the Autobots heard the beautiful tune and listened also following trying to find the owner of the voice. After following the voice they found the owner, it was their princess. The Autobots were relieved they had found their missing princess. They got her out of the cell and as quickly and quietly they escaped the kingdom and retreated to theirs with Sideswipe and SunStreaker, as their prisoners. They returned their princess to her kingdom and they all lived happily every after." Optimus finishes right when Blazer closed her small optics.

"Whoa," Sideswipe says amazed by Optimus' story while our leader walked away probably to his office, "That was amazing," Chromia says with a smile, I was relieved Blazer was fast asleep and might I add she was sleeping heavily, we could all slightly hear her snoring, "Awww~" Jazz coos watching her sleep, "Leave her alone Jazz!" Chromia whispers with a scowl, "Nah~ she adorable~ Ah'm adored~" Jazz coos we all freeze when Blazer stirs and whimpers, I stroke her helm with my digit gently, "Hidey," she whispers softly, "Hush, baby, hush," Elita whispers using a motherly tone, Blazer remains still for awhile before she tosses and turns.

Moments Later

"HIDEY! IRON-BUNNY!" I hear Blazer scream through the base, we're playing hide and go seek, she's trying to cheat, "HIDEY! IZ NEEDS YOUS!" Blazer screams, I wasn't going to fall for it, "IRON-BUNNY!!!!" She yells in an urgent tone, I groan and come out of my hiding spot which was in a dark corner, I round the corner and see the Chevy Twins picking on Blazer.

I growl and glare at those rejects and let my cannons warm up, "Hidey gonna gets yous!" Blazer says, "Whate'er pip squeak!" Skids teases, "Yeah Ol' Hide won' touch us!" MudFlap says taking his digit and push her to the floor, "Alright!" I bark making the two rejects jump they look at me in fear, "Iz told yous!" Blazer says shaking her helm, "He's gonna gets yous now,"

Moments Later

"GETS 'EM HIDEY!" Blazer cheers while I ran after the Chevy twins with Blazer running behind me, "KICK THEIR BUTTS!" Blazer yells still chasing me, I hear a yelp then a cry in pain, I screech to a halt and turn around quickly, I see that Blazer is on the floor bawling, I run back to her scooping up the crying toddler, "Hey don't cry, don't cry! Hidey is right here," I soothe to her while I held her to my chassis, "Haha! Cry ta your Ironhide!" Skids taunts, "I kill you both later!" I warn making the Chevy Twins run off, Blazer is cuddled to my chassis, "I luv you Hidey!" She chirps while I placed her on my shoulder plating, "Stay," I say gently while I walked down the hall with Blazer cheering while soldiers walked by, Blazer had a hold of the side of my helm while I walked, I felt her stand "Please be careful Blazer," I plead but it sounded like a grunt, "Iz wills!" Blazer chirps while she climbed on the back of my helm, she did what her dad does leaned over my helm and looked down at me, I frown while she giggled then "Wowed" at the height, Blazer was used to heights since she climbed on my shoulder a lot and all those times I held her to my chassis while standing at my full height.

"Dids Mommy packs my dollies?" She asks, "Yes," I grunt, "Yeah! Iz can't waits ta play with Barbie and Ken!" Blazer cheers, "I can work while watching you," I say, Blazer giggled and kisses my helm right in front of the other Autobots, "Awww!" The three femmes cooed.

Soon Blazer was playing with her Barbies while I worked on my latest cannon at my work station, then Sideswipe's Holoform walked up to Blazer kneeling down to her level, I smirked to myself knowing what was going to happen, Blazer stopped playing and looked at Sideswipe, "Can I play?" Sideswipe asked reaching for a doll, "MINE!" Blazer screams grabbing her dolls away from Sideswipe, "You know sharing is caring right?" Sideswipe asks, "But Iz don't cares!" Blazer cries holding her dolls, "But I want to play please?" Sideswipe pleads, "No! Gets yours owns!" Blazer growls narrowing her small optics, "Why?" He asks, "Becauze, yous can nots play with my dollies!" Blazer snaps, "Feisty much?" Sideswipe hums, "Only when it comes to those dolls," I grunt tightening a piece to my cannon, "Blazer I just want to play," Sideswipe says, "Yous cans play with them when Iz dead!" Blazer says picking up her dolls and walking over to me, "Hidey, Iz wants ta watch yous," Blazer pleads, "No, too dangerous," I grunt, "Plwease! Yous never lets me watch yous!" Blazer pleads, I grunt and scoop her up setting her on my shoulder since my workspace was crowded.

Blazer watched me for what seemed like hours before it was time for recharge for everyone, "Alright kiddo you still awake?" I ask the child but I hear no noise, I felt something small and warm curl up on my neck cables, "It's her," Chromia whispers coming up from behind me, "Good," I whisper setting my tools down, I yawn but shake it off being extremely cautious about Blazer, I felt her tiny servo grab one of my neck cables.

I walk back to my berth room after walking Chromia to hers, once to my berth room I type in my code and walk in, I gently take Blazer off my shoulder and lay down on my berth setting the sleeping toddler on my spark area, I watch her cuddle up to my chassis soaking up the warmth coming from my spark.

Primus I was lucky, I had a cute little sparkling that was not mine but I still cares, that was all over me and an awkward but great team.
