Again, it's almost midnight as I put this down. Sorry if there's any errors in my spelling and/or if I sound like a jerk.

Arteest is taking art from, as you can probably guess from the username, OreoFerret. And Leopardheart217 (sorry again I didn't know that :P)
In her own defense, she is saying that the stolen art is hers because it says "Oreo" on it.

That doesn't help much when we can very clearly see the screenshot, gurrrrrl!

*takes deep breath*
The question on most people's minds right now is probably "why the FUDGETROPICA are there so many *long string of cursing* art thieves right now?!?"

And my answer to you is I don't really know.

My idea is because it's a long weekend (I got four days off of school but I think most people got three. Haha suckers) and people get bored. So somehow their thought process leads to "OH I NEED ATTENTION LEMME GO PRACTICE MY SCREENSHOOTING SKILLS AND BE CALLED OUT WITHIN MINUTES!"
And the rest is history.
Which brings me to the main reason: Attention.
People see the attention the art stealers are getting and say to themselves "Oh cool, they got 7K reads in 5 hours!" and proceed to steal art to take their claim of "fame."
So when you give hateful comments to the thief themselves, it doesn't help the matter.
Neither does spamming song lyrics, but I suppose that's better than
OMFG YOU FUCKING BITCH I WILL SLAUGHTER YOU AND SMEAR YOUR BLOOD ON MY WALLS YOU'RE A DISGRACE TO HUMANITY AND SHOULD BE BURNED AT THE STAKE

The key to taking down art thieves is not bullying them until they quit.
It's being mature, responsible members of society and talking peacefully to the thief. When you yell and scream at them, you really aren't any better than they are.

Say something along the lines of
"Hey-
I see you're taking art, and so does everyone else. I'm asking you to please take this book down. It's ok to look up to an artist, but don't steal from them. Try making something unique with your imagination and your own two hands."

Remember folks, cyberbullying is a crime too!

The more mature you are, the easier it is to communicate with the thieves and the more likely they are to steal more art just to spite everyone.
