Aurora could; in a sense; figure out what her parents were saying. But to her she just heard her name. And the word "Daddy." The rest was lost to her.

In frustration, she made a popping sound. And it got her parents to switch their focus only for a second, before they went back to talking.

She felt Impacts nose on her hand and she grabbed it, it was squishy and wet. And he barked softly.

She mimicked him, or tried to, but only managed to sound like a quack.

"Are you okay pup?" She heard Impact ask her in a language she could understand.

"Yeah, I'm trying to get Mommy and Daddy's attention." She replied, huffing.

"Want me to help?" Impact asked in his light smooth voice, licking her.

"Nah, I got it, but thanks bubby." She patted his head laughed at him.

Luna came up next, and she was excited.

"SIS, let's go! I wanna play!" She exclaimed, wagging her tail rapidly. Her little squeaky voice cracking.

"Can't sissy, sorry I have to get Mommy's and Daddy's attention." She replied, trying to mimic how Aphmau said Daddy.

"I can get them." Luna barked excitedly, only to be stopped by Impact.

"She wants to do it herself Moon. I'll play with you." He said lazily, wagging his tail.

"Really! Yes! Come on!" Luna barked and ran outside.

"Good luck..." Aurora said sarcastically, and she giggled.

Impact grumbled inwardly.

"I'll need it, Moon, wait up!" He ran after his friend. His tail trailing behind him.

Now focusing on the task at hand she tried again to say Daddy. But instead said something like Papdy.

Growling in irritation, she made a quacking sound, but was determined to get it right.

She tried several more times. Until...

"DADDY!!!!" She yelled it at the top of her lungs.

Aaron jumped and ran into the room. And he chuckled.

"You have some voice, heh, why do I know that you get that from your mother..." He murmured the last bit. 

"Daddy." She grabbed his nose and giggled.

"Hmm... Ah. Is that me Light? I'm I your Daddy?" He kissed her forehead and she shuffled his hair, trying to climb on top of him.

"Huh?" She laid on the top of his head, and hung her hands over his eyes so he couldn't see.

"Honey! I have gone blind!" He yelled into the other room. And stumbled around.

Aphmau ran into the other room, worried until she saw what he was up to.

"Oh dear, what are we going to do?" She giggled and stared at the top of his head.

"I don't know! But go find Aurora, I can't seem to see anything at the moment." Aurora giggled and removed her hands.

"Ah! But where has my little Light gone?" Aaron chuckled and clasped his hands.

"I don't know dear, we should go find her." Aphmau said, laughing at her husbands antics.

"Daddy!" Aurora yelled climbing down from her fathers head.

"Oh, there she is! I found her!" He chuckled and kissed her forehead. And she giggled, and crawled around in his arms.

She snuggled into one of his hands, and cooed. Hanging onto one of his fingers.

She gave a tired laugh and sleepily waved her hands at him.

He grabbed them and played with her fingers until she fell asleep in his arms.

"Just when I think she'll never go to sleep, she's out like a light." Aphmau said, walking up to Aaron's shoulder and holding his other hand.

"Reminds you of someone?" Aaron asked, squeezing her hand. And laying Aurora gently into her crib.

"You..." She replied, leaning into him and kissing him.

"Well, I am her father after all." He said, pulling away with effort, as he could be like that all day.

At this time Impact came back and barked at his masters, Luna had gone to far playing and he had drug her back into the house.

"Luna..." Impact started.

"Sorry... I got excited..." She said whimpering lowly.

To the pair, they could only hear whines and barks. But to Aurora, she could hear every word.

"What did she do this time?" Aurora opened her eyes lazily, still sleepy.

"She ran to far, Luna, you scared me... I thought you were going to get hurt." Impact licked Luna's ear, and she whined.

"I'm sorry. I thought I saw something cool." She said, her tail and ears drooping.

"It's fine, you're learning. Just don't do that to me. Okay Moon?" He leaned in and licked her before he sauntered off and nuzzled his nose in Aphmau's hand.

Luna curled up by Aurora's crib and laid her head on the floor.

"He cares about you, you know. Even if he doesn't like to show it." Aurora said sleepily, patting Luna on the head.

"I know." She whined and slowly went to sleep. And Aurora followed soon after.

"Sometimes I think Aurora can understand them." Aaron said, watching over the situation.

"All children can talk to animals until they are three. Then it goes away... or it doesn't and they become animal whisperers." Aphmau said and then she quickly spun him around to face her.

She placed his hand on her stomach and held it there. Smiling at his confused expression.

"H-huh?" He looked down and it finally clicked.

"You're..." His face cracked into a smile and he put pressure on her hand.

She nodded, lacing her fingers with his as he looked deep into her eyes.

"We... we're gonna have a baby..." He smiled and kissed her gently, his hands sliding up and down her stomach.

"Our baby..." tears of joy started running down his face and he placed his forehead on hers.

"When did you find out?" He asked playing with her fingers on her stomach.

"This morning.... the signs clicked." She was also crying. They had waited so long, and tried so hard for this. And finally it was happening.

He chuckled at himself and kissed her again. Pressing himself onto her stomach.

"If that's the case... then we're going to have to make more room." Aaron looked around at their overcrowded house. And sighed.

"We.... Let's do a little bit of remodeling. That wall can come down to make more room. The bathroom doesn't work so, we can take the stuff out of it. We could move the bed over there..." He started planning about where to move things and what to tear down.

"Sounds great... But. Thats a little too much room... what are we going to do with all of that space?" Aphmau asked, looking at all the walls that were going to come down.

"Well... You know... the guys could always come and stay with us. And the vault is going to give them those two boys, Levin and Malachi to take care of." Aaron started thinking of a huge family manner. But decided to humble it down a little.

"How about we add two more rooms, one for the new baby, and one if the guys decide to stay over. I'll still need materials either way." He added the last part with little enthusiasm.

"Sounds perfect..." She kissed him and grabbed a blanket.

"But before you get ahead of yourself... come here." She twirled the blanket around herself and flopped onto the bed with zero grace.

He grinned and fell right on top of her. kissing her immediately and kissing her stomach.
