Chapter 8 - Why? Part 2 (Happy Easter!!!)

-Chapter 8-

-Sky's POV-

Ty was still snuggled up to me, sleeping softly, when we only had an hour left of our flight. Then again, the flight WAS only three hours long.

Then, about fifteen minutes later, he started shifting uncomfortably, snuggling his head into my arm. His hair tickled, flopping onto my skin. His face was in a frown, and I could tell he was having some sort of bad or confusing dream.

I reached out, intertwining our fingers and giving his forehead a soft kiss. He stopped shuffling, smiling softly, but still obviously uncomfortable.

I used my other hand to rub circles on his arm, and that did the trick. He let out a content sigh before relaxing, going back into a deep sleep.

I smirked involuntarily, before turning back to my magazine and skimming the page.

"S-Sky?" Asked a sudden voice, and my eyes darted quickly to my right, recognizing the voice. It was Ty, who had removed his head from my arm and was rubbing his eyes adorably.

I smiled widely at him. "Your the cutest things when your waking up, you know that?"

"Well," he rolled his eyes, shaking his head. "I wouldn't say the same about you. Your a freaking snorer if I've ever seen one."

"Well you would know, wouldn't you?"

"Don't get dirty on a plane," he mumbled, slapping my chest playfully. I giggled and reached up, scraping some hair out of his face. While I was doing that, he reached up and moved the headphones to dangle off of his neck.

"It's Easter, you know."

"Really?!?" He whisper-cried, obviously excited. I wonder how much he actually got to ENJOY Easter growing up...

"Yeah," I smiled, holding out my hand. He immediately took it, intertwining our fingers and resting them on the arm-rest. "It's past midnight now."

He let out a sigh, leaning against the chair. "I never really got to enjoy Easter growing up, but I saw the other kids running around and enjoying it. It seemed....fun."

I nodded quickly. "It was. Maybe I can recreate it for you? When we get to the hotel, I'm sure they'll be holding something for Easter. We can...fit ourselves in." I wiggled my eyebrows.

"Stop that!" He hissed, slapping me again. "You are the worst husband in all of history."

"Yeah, but I'm yours!"

"Sadly." He retorted, before pulling his own book out of his bag and setting his eyes to it.

Minutes passed, with Dawn and Jocelyn talking non-stop next to me, some sort of gossip. It had been a month since they had strangely appeared on our doorstep, and they had been from hotel to hotel in the past few weeks, trying to gather money so we didn't need to pay for all of it.

How do I feel about them? Well, other than them taking my money, I don't notice anything wrong with them. If they make one wrong move, though, I'll punch their fucking teeth in. Especially if they threaten Ty.

Ty, however, didn't seem as sure. He kept glancing over to them, and a look of unsettlment kept drifting in and out of his brown eyes.

"Ty?" I asked finally, giving his hand a soft squeeze. "Are you alright? You seem really nervous."

"Nothing," he mumbled softly, but come on. I've known him for five years. I'm MARRIED to him. I can tell when he's lying.

"Please tell me..." I said softly, nudging him repeatedly.

"Fine," he let out a thick sigh. "But only because I can't say no to you."

He then went on to tell me his dream. I must say, it was weird. However, I began to get chills when he explained the young girl. She seemed so strangely familiar, it was almost...scary...

Suddenly, it clicked. I knew who the girl was. I knew her, even if I had gotten a seconds-glance at her face. I recognized her.

Wow. I didn't think I would see her again. I was so wrong, apparently...

I did have to say a thank-you when I see her, though. She did save us, practically.

"So I'm afraid that who she's saying I shouldn't trust is Dawn. Normally I wouldn't trust my dream, but...."

"With everything that's going on," I continued for him. "We might as well be startled by this. We don't know if it's true or not." I finished for him, glancing over at the girls. To anyone else, they were completely innocent twenty-year-old girls.

However, to me, it was different. I see the woman I stabbed in the arm, with Ty in the background, cut, frozen and bleeding.

I suppose you can see that I see the version of her...that I'm afraid of her.

"Exactly." He nodded quickly.

-Time Skip, No Boring Plane Ride-

Ty let out a grunt, digging in his pocket for the keys with an angry look on his face. I giggled while I watched him ; he was pretty darn cute when he was so frustrated.

"Hey Ty?" I said finally, and he glanced up at me while still shuffling.

"I forgot to tell you. I have the keys." His eyes widened and he surged forward, smacking me playfully.

"Douche!"

"Gladly." I answered with a loud laugh, before turning to our hotel door and sliding the key into the small hole.

((Haha pervert jokes :3))

"Whoa..." I mumbled as the door swung open. In front of us was a large room with a long corridor, a bathroom to once side, and the main room in front of us. The main room had a bed pressed up against the middle right wall, and a tv directly across from it. In the lower left corner, there was a small kitchen area, with a table, chairs, fridge and counter-area.

And best of all? On the table, in the very middle, there was a basket. In the basket were chocolates and sweets of all kind, along with a stuffed bunny and a note that read :

Enjoy your Easter with this basket! Have a great day!

~Management

Ty squeaked when he saw it, and I had to laugh at his sudden excitement. I dropped the bags before walking over to it, picking it up and setting it back down on the bed.

"This is for a little kid," I teased. "Maybe I should throw it away."

"Hey," Ty laughed, walking over to me and putting a hand on his stomach. "Technically," he used his other hand to point. "Little kid."

I rolled my eyes, then laughed. "Fine, okay. You can have ONE!"

One my ass.

We sat down on the bed, and for the rest of the day we just cuddled, ate and watched tv. He was tucked into my chest, munching on the various chocolates and sweets.

He was such a small child. Nothing wrong with that though, I suppose.

"I'm tired..." He mumbled softly after a few hours, tucking his head even deeper into my chest and letting out a soft sigh. I giggled, tussling with his hair.

"Goodnight then." I reached over, turning off the lamp, then turning off the tv. In the dark, I felt him cuddle into me, kissing my chest before drifting off.

"I love you..."

Now to figure it out.

Why did he see her? Why did she come back?

.....Why?
