I don't know how to title this but it's an idea?? with pictures??
©jimmyandthebadge4eva 2021 before we begin because I don't want random people stealing this because I did draw these pictures all by mahself

You heard right peoples, have an idea from me accompanied by pictures drawn by yours truly for this fine autumn afternoon in November, when I really need to be practicing piano.
===
So, this idea was originally just based on the concept of the five elements, typically used in Chinese mythology-fire, water, earth, gold/metal, and wood. And then I just titled my first picture 'fire fae' and the rest if kind of history.
In this world, there are people called 'Fae'-people with supernatural powers-who usually possess special appearances, markings on their bodies, and pointed ears-and people who, basically, don't, called 'Fair'. The Fae and the Fair usually live separately in their own worlds, after a dispute long ago between them, but the story centers around a special train created by both sides that is the first Fae-Fair establishment since a long time.
The train is supposed to send a special selection of 100 Fae, 100 Fair, and 100 special officers to a school on the border between the two lands, but on the way, it is revealed that the train is actually the school, and in order to graduate, they need to essentially beat the train itself at its strange way of teaching the 'students'. Midst that all, the main characters are the special ones, because they are the ones chosen by the six elements (I added air in there because I wanted to haha), and play a key part in figuring out the mystery of the train. Not to mention, among all that, they need to figure out the strange phenomenon of Fair being reported to show signs of Fae powers.
Terms-
Fae: People with supernatural powers, pointed ears, longer lifespans, and special appearances. All of them possess a mark on their body that relates to their power in some way, but only the six chosen ones have them on their faces. (The rest don't)
Fair: People who don't have supernatural powers, but are more technologically advanced.
Special Officers: Fae who were specifically trained as 'bodyguards' for the train, or just in general. There is no age range; as long as you past the SO test, you're in. They're kind of like the police officers-they settle disputes, protect people, keep order, all that good stuff. All of them wear tags on their uniform that signify what pronouns they use because not all Fae identify as she/her or he/him.
Detectives: Fair who are secretly looking into the 'Faeiry Phenomenon'-Fair manifesting Fae powers-or the FP as they call it. They've joined the train with their ulterior motives and are looked after by the SOs.
Fae Council: A group of 10 Fae with the most powerful abilities or the most refined, or are the best at what they do. They govern over the Fae land and act as the government.
Other Stuff-
- The way I refer to un-powered people as 'Fair' is inspired by the same way Lisa Graff does it in her books A Tangle of Knots and A Clatter of Jars.
Now the MAIN CHARACTERS! :D

First up, we have fire fae, who literally started this whole thing. Well, actually, my mom did when she suggested I try doing more color with my drawings (I rarely use color when drawing). His original concept was inspired by Talon from Master of One by Dani Bennett and Jaida Jones (that's not his full name but his full name is ultra long). And, as you can see from the #sanzuvibes tag I have on there, his facial features were 100% inspired by Sanzu Haruchiyo from Tokyo Revengers (thank you, @ / -S4NZU , for part of that because without you I would not have known who Sanzu is haha).
Fire Fae is kind of your atypical, chill, relaxed dude who's kind of lazy. Definitely a slacker type. A little on the overconfident side, likes playing pranks, and doesn't often take things seriously, but when he goes he goes all out. Also, kind of a gangster who definitely knows how to brawl and kind of appears sus. Like, a lot. He has a very innocent sister (she's up there in the corner) and is very doting on her, as with friends.
Originally, I started out with just plain red hair with shadows and highlights and etc., but then I remembered "oh wait fire has lots of colors wHOOPS!" and went back in to add the other colors, LOL.
Fun fact, he can smoke all he wants and not be damaged. Actually, smoking helps his powers. Don't follow his example though.

Next is water fae, pretty much the opposite of Fire Fae. Now, if you've watched Ouran Highschool Host Club and you know what Kyoya Ootori's personality is like from that show, then by all means, skip this part because you already have like 90% of water fae's personality down. Cool, slightly arrogant, sneaky, goes with the flow, ultra intelligent, but also very stubborn, strict, and just a little bit show-offy, Water Fae is kind of a know-it-all. Very composed. Dislikes disorder. He was inspired by two specific webtoons/mangas that I can't remember that well at the moment but yeah!
Fun fact, he can't be drowned! But he's terrified of heights. Keeps that well hidden.

I wanted a sleepy boi so I drew a sleepy boi. The reason why Wood Fae is so sleepy all the time is because he's omniscient and omnipotent, since his powers allow him to be so. That was based on the idea that trees are ultra wise because their roots go waaaaaaayyyyy far, but they're also rooted to place and can't really move around to place to place often/as they please. His sibling is Earth fae, who will be introduced later on.
Wood Fae is sleepy, sleeps a lot, is very mysterious without meaning to come off as such, and doesn't really speak up much. he mostly just. sleeps. When he does wake up he's very soft-spoken, but has a mean sardonic wit. He is rather judgmental of the world since he knows a ton of stuff, and hates getting disturbed or anything like that. The picture of him sleeping with a ZZZ over him is inspired by Rachel Sinclair from the webtoon Hero Killer.
Fun fact, he wishes he was Fair instead of a Fae because of all the trouble he's gotten since getting his powers. Wood fae has a good potential for a very tragic backstory, yes.

Now we have the sparkly gold fae, whose concept is 100% inspired by both Jiyoung Yoo from the webcomic Eleceed (*C/N: AAAAA AUTOCORRECT REALLY BE TESTIN MY PATIENCE HERE) and Ariana de Secramise from the webtoon The Princess's Jewels. Both are queens no I do not accept criticism. She... doesn't really have a noticeable face marking... but rest assured, they're sparkly. It's like when light catches on a sparkly thingy and reflects all over the place. she's got that, but on her face under her eyes.
Gold fae is very stylish, elegant, and basically the female, less mean version of Water fae. (fun fact, they know each other from the past) She is often mistaken to be arrogant because of her quiet demeanor and generally posh outlook. Also since because of her power, she literally will never go poor. Has her heart in the right place, but often struggles with indecisiveness and having trouble speaking up as a result of a controlling childhood.
Fun fact, gold fae is unable to get food poisoning.

I personally relate to Earth fae, probably because it's my element, so I based her off of me. That hairstyle, minus the glowy parts, is basically what my hair looks like in real life, LOL. The heart ahoges at the top of her head are inspired by the hair ahoges in the webtoon Trump.
Earth fae is in fact Wood fae's sister! She's usually bright, cheery, upbeat and reliable, if not a bit down-to-earth (no pun intended) and very modest. She doesn't like being too in the spotlight and is not show-offy at all, but does tend to draw attention to herself at times because of her bad concept of volume and dramatizing skills. She likes to mother or grandmother everyone-espeicially her brother (she is so proud whenever he actually socializes) and her powers also involve some level of knowing all and seeing all.
Fun fact, earth fae is ultra wordy and can spend hours in a library, but gets bored easily just like Wood fae.
(p.S. the kissy sparkly face in the upper left corner is 100% Inhyuk Goo from Eleceed)

Finally we have air fae! I decided to make them nonbinary since air doesn't really fit the mold of anything, being free and really changeable. They're a Special Officer, but ends up joining the main character gang. They got onto the SO team because of their strong powers, but often laments the fact that when they're "officially on duty" they have the tone down their eccentric appearance. The stick in their hair that can turn into weapon is inspired from Kasin's pipe-turned-sword/stick weapon in the webtoon Trump. Their mark actually goes onto their hands, which is another rarity.
Air fae is genderfluid, often switching between male and female or just not having a gender. They are wild, free, loud, outgoing, and basically the more upbeat and energetic version of fire fae. They're definitely an extrovert and a little bit on the careless side. Able to change their appearance at will, they usually have one crazy hairstyle after the next on a regular basis, except when they're "officially on duty". People like to call them an eccentric kind of living manchild, since they're kind of childish and always ready with a joke to lighten up the mood.
(Actually, now that I think about it, they're rather like Gojo Satoru from Jujutsu Kaisen, LOL.)
