Chapter IIX//She's Getting Annoying
(Frank's POV)
Portals. They left me feeling nauseous and cold, but I looked over to Adelade, I realized she did not seem effected at all, infact, she looked at me with satisfaction and smirked,"You look a little sick, I'm pretty sure jelly travel is not your style." This was getting really annoying, child of Athena, but as annoying as Leo. Terrifying. Before heading to the archery range I gave her a tour of the camp. One impressive thing after another, but she was not wowed, infact, she seemed bored, yawning every five minutes. Annabeth, finally, nudged her in the shoulder so she'd stop. "What," Adelade questioned(she obviously knew), "It's not my fault that I'm allergic to boredom." I was ready to just give up and have her figure it out on her own, but that wouldn't be right. I sighed, life is never easy. We got to the archery range and I readied the targets. I was hoping she would give me break, but she has to try to make a fool of me. "How about we have an archery contest," she started off, "see what I already know, Who's better." She emphasized better and gave me a look that told me I had no choice. I tried to counter with, "Great, maybe it will teach you some humility." I can't even have decent comebacks to a eight year old. I fired my first shot, but before it hit the target, one of her's sent it flying off. How did she do that? I tried again, same thing. Finally she shot, but just to be annoying, she set the target in motion. She fired five arrows at once, each one hit the perfect center, splitting the one before it. Annabeth laughed, I had almost forgotten she was there. Why wouldn't she intervene? Adelade was HER sister!! I then realized 'Frank, you sound like a two year old who isn't getting some toy he wants.' "Well," I groaned, Adelade was not letting me forget this, ever. "judging by the fact that none of your arrows hit the target, and all five of mine did..., I do believe that I win." She turned her wheelchair to leave, but one of the younger campers saw her. She made eye contact with her and gasped, dropping all of her scrolls (at least ten of them, carefully balanced) "You!" she shrieked. She quickly grabbed her scrolls and sprinted off. "What was that about?" Annabeth and I asked in unison. "I have no idea, but I know one thing, it was quite strange." Adelade added, wide eyed. "I'll go see what's wrong with her, go back to the camp." I ordered. My, has it been a rough day. I ran in the direction the girl had gone, but she was much faster.
