Day 1 at the Castle

The above photo is basically what the castle gates look like except there's a bodyguard on each side. Like the setup not like the design.

....
"Princess, get up!" Hans fusses.

I slowly open my eyes and am greeted by Hans' face. "Good morning, Hans..."

"Good morning, since you have been gone for so long your Princess duties have piled up! You need to get them done!"

"Like what?" I say rolling over turning away from him.

He sighs and walks around to the other side of the bed. "You have lots of paperwork to do!"

"I thought I told you to do that for me and fill me in on whatever it is that's needed then I will make the final decision."

"That's what I've done for you. All I need is for you to finalize them."

"Alright, alright, after I've had breakfast, checked up on Prince Lucas and Jason, and a few other things I might think of later," I say and plop my head back down.

"You're ignoring it," Hans says as if he's scorning me.

"I am not. I just have to do other things first. Anyway, what time is it?" I ask.

"9:08 meaning it's time to get up."

"Ughh... Fine, I'm getting up... Are the others up?"

"Everyone is still seemingly asleep," Hans says.

"Well first things first to go check on the injured," I say hopping off the bed and about to walk out the room.

"Princess!"

I whip around. "What?"

"You mustn't leave this room in your pajamas!"

"Agh! Come on, Hans!" I yell and mumble to myself. "Why should it matter what I wear..."

"Because it's inappropriate for a Princess to be seen in her pajamas."

"I know! Stupid rules." I walk into my closet and shut the door behind me and change into something 'descent'.

...
I walk into the infirmary and watch as the doctor resets the recorder to play again.

"Doc? You've been up all night, go get some rest I will take over from here."

"Yes, thank you, Princess," he says tiredly with a bow and quickly leaves the room.

I look towards the two boys sleeping before me. "I'm so sorry... This is all my fault..." I lower my head and a few tears slip out. "You guys wouldn't be hurt if I never met you..."

"We wouldn't be alive if we didn't."

I look up towards the voice to now see Lucas sitting up in the bed. I sniffle. "What do you mean?"

"If we never met you than we might've died on that island."

"All but you," I say knowingly and sit beside him.

"That's not the point. If you weren't there we wouldn't have gotten the first aid kit open, or caught fish, or built a fire, or got a wonderful breakfast out of nothing, or-"

I give a small hiccup-giggle. "Okay, now you're just making me embarrassed..."

"Well it's true. We couldn't live without you," Lucas says with a smile and wipes away my tears.

I look over at Jason and lie my head on Lucas' shoulder. "I don't think he's gonna make it... I've done everything I can do. It will be a miracle if he makes it..."

"Isn't there any other way to save him?" Lucas asks.

"There is one way but there's no way I can do it."

"Why not?"

"There is a special plant inside a cave that can heal hellhound bites and it's very well protected by some powerful creatures."

"So?"

"You didn't let me finish. Demons can't enter only humans can. There's a special barrier around the cave that prevents us from doing so."

"Well... What about angels?" he asks.

"The same for angels and every other living being besides the guardians of the cave and humans."

"Then why not let them go?"

"You know why we can't do that! They would be brutally killed! Anyway, it doesn't matter. There's no way we could get it. No one has ever been able to. I never should of mentioned it, just forget everything I said," I say.

"Could an angel heal him?"

"No living creature can heal a hellhound bite. The only way for him to heal is by stitches and it healing by itself the old fashioned way in hope that he will survive."

"I can't believe this..." Lucas says sadly.

"I will do some research and see if I can find anything," I say determined. I press the button on the recorder and let my voice from it carry itself into the air.

"Wow... That's you?"

"It is."

"Beautiful."

My face heats up. "T-thanks..." Lucas groans and I look towards him to see him holding a part of his wing. I look at the wrap on it and gasp. "Whatever you're doing stop! You're making yourself bleed!"

"It... hurts!"

"Lay down on your stomach and spread out your wing!" I shoot up from my spot on his bed side towards the cupboards. "Alcohol... Alcohol... Ah! There you are!" I grab it along with a rag, some wrap, and cotton balls. "This is gonna hurt! Sorry!" I carefully but quickly unwrap his wrap causing him to cry out. "Sorry!" I throw the bloody wrap into the trash and pour the alcohol on the rag. "Sorry ahead of time!" I wipe all the blood away with the rag causing him to cry out even more. The wing is broken and has a major cut or should I say bite. "I'm sorry for all the pain but I have to apply pressure!" I push down on the cut with the rag and the rag quickly becomes completely drenched in blood. "Shit!" I throw the rag in the sink and grab more rags. To make matters worse Jason starts frolicking around. "Not you to!" I grab Jason's bedside and pull it over so I can keep an arms length between both boys. "The moon is full tonight..." I sing the song and both calm down surprisingly because it was meant just for Jason. "If only this wasn't a hellhound bite this would be so much easier!" I put a table under Lucas' wing to hold it up and put a tray underneath. I grab the alcohol and pour it on Lucas' wound and clean out all the access blood. I grab two needles and begin stitching up both boys' wounds faster than you can say hellhounds. Once I finish I look at myself covered in blood and begin to wish I really did stay in my pajamas, my clothes are ruined. I carefully wrap Lucas' wound back up and clean off all the rest of the blood from Jason while dabbing some alcohol covered cotton balls over his wounds. When I finally finish I heave a big sigh. "I never want to do that again!"

A knock on the door gets my attention and Hans' head pokes in. "The humans have awoken."

I sigh. "Alright..."

Hans catches sight of all the blood on me. "What happened?!"

"Problems..." is all I say because I honestly don't feel like explaining myself.

Hans sighs. "I recommend you clean yourself before you see the humans."

"I will and will you stop calling them 'the humans' because you know I'm a human too!"

"No, you're half human. There's a difference," Hans says.

"Not much."

"Very much."

I click my tongue in annoyance. "Whatever..." I roll my eyes and walk out the room right as the second doctor walks in. "You know what to do?"

"Yes," he says and I leave the room.

...
After washing off in another room and was given clothes I returned to my room.

"Good morning, guys!"

"So I really wasn't dreaming you really are a Demon Princess," Johnny says.

I laugh. "Yep, let's go get breakfast."

"I wanna see my brother!" Tyler fusses.

"No!" I yell back.

"Why?! He's my brother I have a right!" Tyler yells.

"I'm only doing this to protect you! You don't want you to get hurt like I was!" I clamp my hands over my mouth.

"What?" he says confused.

"Nothing! Nevermind! You will not see him and that is final!" I yell. "Now, let's go to breakfast and have a peaceful morning. I don't like yelling this early in the morning."

"Same here, I'm sick of the yelling," Johnny says.

"Same," Zack says.

"Me too," Erwin says.

...
"What are we going to do today?" Johnny asks.

Once breakfast begins the only ones talking are Johnny, Shane, and I and occasionally Zack and Erwin. Tony and Tyler don't really say anything and kinda just push their food around on their plates.

"I don't know about you but I have to catch up on my Princess duties," I say. "They've piled up in my absence."

"Lame! Well, what can we do around here?" Johnny asks.

"Do whatever you want," I say. "Just don't break anything."

"So I can see my brother?" Tyler asks.

"Anything, but that," I say standing up. "Now, I must go to my office. I should be done in about an hour or two. See you later." I leave the room and head to my office like I said.

...
I slam the last paper down into the pile it belongs in and stand up. "Finally, I'm done!"

Right as I finish saying that Hans comes into the room. "Have you finished your paperwork?"

"Indeed I have."

"Good, that means it's time for training."

"Ugh, really?"

"Yes, you need to, you've been neglecting them for a long while now."

"I thought that the tests on the island were training segments?"

"Yes... Indeed they were, but I'm talking about in the training room."

"Yeah, I know..." I say and lazily drag myself to my room to change into my exercise suit.

...
After countless game playing in the game room the guys begin to get bored.

"So what should we do now?" Johnny asks.

"See my brother," Tyler says.

"You know that you can't."

"Why?"

"I believe that she has a good reason for you not to," Zack says.

"What would that reason be?" Tyler asks.

"He could look in really bad shape and you'd probably be disgusted," Erwin says.

"I don't care. I wanna see him," Tyler says.

"I do too," Tony says finally speaking up after all this time.

"Hey, I heard there's a training room, wanna go and see if anyone's there?" Johnny says trying to change the subject. He walks over to a nearby maid and asks her to show them to the training room.

...
My flames are lit and my claws are out slashing at anything that moves. Something whips by my head and I swipe it out of the sky. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 shadows dash by me and I do a back flip to dodge the next one. I'm in complete darkness with just one, barely lit, flickering light giving me just enough to see for a second. Except it really doesn't matter because I stick out like a sore thumb, the light from my flames give enough light already.

"Yaah!" something behind me yells.

I crouch down and whatever was running at me trips over me and falls on its face.

"Ooh, that's gotta hurt," I say with a grimacing face. I don't get to stay like that long before something else comes flying at me. I spin to the left out of the way. The flickering light still... well, flickering. Beginning to bother me I shoot a small fire ball at it shattering it into pieces. I look towards the observing half silver glass window in annoyance knowing that Hans is there watching me even though I can't see him. I give a mischievous smile and quickly slide to the side to dodge the oncoming attack.

"How do you do that?" someone, I'm assuming the guy I just dodged, says.

"Let's make this a little more challenging for you," I say and burn out my flames.

"Dammit!" I hear someone next to me on my left say right before I jab him in the stomach.

I close my eyes and reopen them having them now coated in green enabling me to see in the dark. "You guys are in trouble now."

...
A few moments earlier...

The maid opens the door to the training room observatory. "I'm sorry, but right now it's in use by the Princess. This is where you can watch her if you'd like," the maid says, bows, and leaves.

The six guys enter the room and Hans turns towards them. "What are you doing here?"

"We wanted to check out the training room. Honest, we had no clue the Princess was in the middle of a session," Johnny says. "We can leave if you want.

"No, it is alright. You may come watch if you please. Just be silent," Hans says.

The boys walk up to the glass and look down at the flame covered girl in the darkness along with a flickering light. They watch as the flames dance around dodging whatever they can't see until they get close enough to the girl. Suddenly you see a small ball of fire aiming right towards the light and shattering it on contact. It looks as if the girl sees them and looks right at them.

"Can she see us?" Johnny asks.

"No, she knows I'm here and did that to try to make me angry," Hans says a little vexed.

The next thing seen is the diminishing flames. All that's left is the blackness of the room. You can hear a few loud thwacking noises, then suddenly the room is as bright as a sunny day showing that the lights are now on. Down below you see Her Highness standing in the middle of maybe 16, knocked out, people.

Her whole appearance looks different. Instead of the usual lazy clothes and hair down, it's hair in a high ponytail and a skin tight comfortable purple suit. The suit's obviously made to be fire resistant and able to move in easily. Her hair, instead of being her middle size length of hair, is really long reaching down to her butt even in a ponytail. Not only that, it is also silver! You can even see her red eyes from the viewing area.

"Is this all you got?" she shouts from down below.

Hans presses a buttons on the wall and holds it while he speaks. "Tomorrow we will have a harder training session, don't you worry."

...
"Harder session tomorrow my ass," I say. "These things are never hard. I don't even break a sweat... well, if I did sweat." I complain walking out the room into the hallway just to be greeted by the guys.

"Wow! That was really cool!" Johnny bellows excitedly.

"Wait, you guys saw that?" I ask.

"Yeah, you're pretty good," Zack says.

"You know if you think that was good then you should see me doing something actually challenging."

"That wasn't challenging?" Erwin asks.

"No where near. Anyway, what have you been up to?"

"We've been in the game room the whole time. I don't think I got to play everything," Johnny says.

"Yeah, it's as big as Dave & Busters," Zack says.

"Is that like the adult Chuck E. Cheese's?" I ask since I've never been there.

"I guess you can call it that," Johnny says.

"So, your hair is different," Erwin says. "You have a tail."

I grab my hair in the ponytail and stare at it with a small, sad smile. "Yeah, this is what my hair naturally looks like. Along with the tail. This is what I normally look like."

"I like it!" Johnny bellows. "Anyways, are you done with your duties?"

I turn towards Hans. "Am I?"

He sighs. "You can continue on tomorrow."

"Spectacular!" I clap my hands and turn to the group. "Have you seen the garden yet?"

"No," Johnny replies.

"Great! Let me show it to you! It's beautiful. Absolutely full of different color roses."

"None of these roses will try to kill me, right?" Johnny asks.

"No, of course not, silly. They are just normal roses. Just because we are in Hell doesn't mean everything here is gonna try to kill you."

"Do man eating plants exist here?" Erwin asks.

"Oh, absolutely. Just not here at the castle."

"Scary," Johnny says.

"You know Hell is pretty much the same as Earth. We have day and night, time zones, rain, snow, hail, stores, parks, children playing, vacations, etc. Hell isn't just a giant hole of lava and a place to punish the bad humans as humans stereotype it to be."

"I've noticed," Johnny says.

"The main difference is that during the day the sky is red and at night it's purple."

"And that the people here are demons," Erwin says. "And man eating plants, and sci-fi being real, and exactly how are our worlds so alike?"

"Well, that too, and no need to be a smartass," I say and begin walking to the garden. "If you like to look at beautiful things you'll love the rose garden."

"I'm looking at someone beautiful right now," Johnny says.

"Oh stop," I say and laugh. "Just up ahead should be the doors out to the garden." We continue on and eventually reach the garden. "Welcome to the most extravagant garden around!"

Their eyes almost bulge out of their eye sockets once they lay eyes upon the garden. "Whoa..." is all they can seemingly say.

"Magnificent, isn't it?" I ask enjoying their reactions.

The garden itself is huge and not just that, it's really cool. There's a maze made out of different color roses, 10 feet high, and a gazebo once you make it to the middle. There's also a walkway, overtop of large pond, ending with swirls and a few places to relax. As well as a waterfall with a lagoon in another place. All that plus more, I can't even list them all.

"It's beautiful!" Johnny exclaims.

"This is the place I will most likely get married when I'm old enough," I say not leaking the details.

"Why wait? Let's do it now!" Johnny says grabbing my hands.

I laugh and push him away. "I don't think so."

"A man can try, right?"

"Yep, just not with me. Would you guys like to have lunch here?"

"Can we?" Johnny asks.

"Of course!" I see a gardener nearby and walk over to him. "Good afternoon."

"Ah! Princess! Good afternoon!" he says with a bow. "To what do I owe pleasure for your appearance?"

"Could you tell a maid that my visitors and I would like to have lunch in the garden?"

"Yes, Your Highness, right away!" he says and scurries off inside.

I return to the group. "Lunch should be arriving soon."

"Oh, good, I'm starved," Shane says while rubbing his belly.

A few moments later a table is being brought out with chairs and food. They set everything up and pull out a chair for me to sit down in. I gracefully sit down and get pushed in. Everyone follows my lead and gets pushed in themselves.

"For lunch today you have..."

The server provides us with information about what we are eating. It's some fancy-schmancy lunch and the names are too complicated for me to repeat. I bow my head in appreciation for his work and he leaves.

"I have no idea what he was talking about," Johnny says.

"Same," I say. "But he was so enthusiastic about it and I didn't want to seem rude by dismissing him."

"You must love it here."

"Depends on what I'm doing. I love everything except the paperwork and the training when I don't want to."

We each grab something that looks appetizing and begin to eat.

"Didn't you say that your dad is the king? Are we ever going to greet him?" Shane asks.

"Man I hope not."

"Why?" Zack asks.

"I really don't wanna deal with him about this. You being humans and all."

"Why, would it be a bad thing?" Erwin asks.

"I don't know. He could be mad at me or just shrug it off," I say, finishing the tiny bit of food I grabbed and stand up. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go change out of this suit." I snap open a portal to my room.

"Are you coming back?" Shane asks.

"Yeah, I'll be back in a few minutes or so," I say walking into my bedroom.

The portal closes behind me and I walk into my closet to get changed into something more comfortable to hang around in, not that the suit isn't comfortable, it is but it's not something you can wear around. I change into a red T-shirt and some black sweatpants then open a portal to the infirmary.

"Ah, Princess! You gave me a fright! Are you here to check in?" the doctor inside asks.

"Sorry I scared you. Yes, indeed, I am. How are they?"

"Both are in good health, for now. Prince Lucas will most likely heal. I can't say the same for your friend, Jason."

"I know... Thank you for all your help. If you would like to take a lunch break I can take over for a little while."

"Thank you, I will take you up on your kind offer," he says and grabs his things. "I will be back ASAP."

"Don't worry, take as much time as you need," I say giving him a smile out. He gives a confirming nod and leaves.

"Hello again, my Princess. I don't believe we got to finish our conversation last time."

I turn towards Lucas and give him an eye roll. "How are you feeling?"

"Much better since I had my wrap redone by my Princess."

"Stop doing that! It's strange."

"Strangely addicting," Lucas says with a devious smile.

"Or just plain weird," I say, laughing. "Now what were we talking about before?"

"About your wonderful singing."

"Ah, yes," I say sitting down beside him. "What of it?"

"You're really good."

"Thanks."

He observes me and starts playing with my hair. "Has your hair grown like 12 inches in 5 hours? It's silver too. You grew a tail too, I see"

"Oops, is my hair still like that? Probably should turn it back..."

"No, I like it like this."

"Oh, well... this is naturally what my hair looks like. I usually have it natural during training. This is what I actually look like."

"Why don't you normally have it like this?" Lucas asks.

"Don't really remember to be honest," I lie not wanting to give him any details of that day. "And it is silver. Not really a natural human hair color. The tail should be obvious."

"I guess." He laughs at me. "You make no sense sometimes."

"I know, no need to rub it in."

We laugh. "So how is everyone?"

"Erwin and Zack are quiet as usual occasionally making a comment. Johnny and Shane are the only ones that really talk. Then Tyler and Tony won't talk to me because I won't let them see their brother."

"Why not?"

"Think about it, if they saw the state he's in they'd be scarred for life. I don't want them to be hurt or scared."

"Yeah, guess that would be for the best. I forgot to ask, how did everyone take all this?"

"I was bombarded with questions," I say.

"Like?"

"What should I call you now? What are your powers? If Gods and Goddesses were real. My demon form and true form. My dog, Cerberus. I told them about the special bloods and what not. And since they overheard Prince and Princess they asked if we were actually siblings."

"I would hate to be your sibling!"

"Why?"

"Because then I couldn't do stuff like this," he says pulls my face up to his. "Your eyes also turn red... I didn't notice before." My face heats up, he snickers and let's go. "It otherwise would be forbidden sibling love and that's pretty gross in my opinion."

I roll my eyes. "Anyway, are you seriously okay?" I ask him again.

"I'm feeling much better. My wing no longer hurts."

"You know you're gonna have to go through rehab to retrain your wing?"

"Yeah, I know."

"When that time comes I'll help you," I say.

"Really? And how exactly would you do that?"

I stand up out in front of him and show him how. I release my own black wings. "This is how."

He stares at me dumbstruck. "You have wings too?, should've known. Is there anything you can't do?"

"A few things."

"Like?" he questions.

"Juggling."

He rolls his eyes and laughs. "You know that's not what I meant."

"I know," I say with a smile and tuck my wings away. "I'm not telling you what I can and cannot do."

He pouts. "What if I tell you what I can't do?"

"I already know what you can't do, everything."

"Hey!" he says and we laugh. "I can do some things."

"Like?"

"I'm not telling you what I can and can't do," he mimics.

I click my tongue. "Whatever," I say and roll my eyes.

"Has anyone asked about me?" he asks.

"Johnny asked how you were before we went to bed last night. I told him that you were fine, just a broken wing and a few scratches."

"At least some one cares."

"Aww, they all care. Just two of them are quiet and two are worried about their brother. Then one is too stuck up to ask, so that leaves him. Besides, I care more than them all combined and that's all that should matter."

He looks at me questionably then smiles mischievously. "You care more than them put together, huh?" he says with a snicker. "And that's all that should matter? Why's that?"

My face heats up. "D-did I say that now?"

"Loud and clear."

"Well..." (That's what I get for opening my big mouth...)

"And why is it that you care so much?"

"...Because... I-I..."

"Love you? Love me?" he teases. "I know you do, just admit it."

"I'm not admitting to anything!" I fuss.

"Then what if I do this?" he says, leaning over to my face and grabs my chin so he could make me look at him. He brings his face close and stops just inches away from my face. If either of us moved our lips would touch. My face heats up and he snickers. "Your face is red."

My face must've just gotten darker. "And whose fault is that?"

"I don't know. Is it because of me? Maybe, I wouldn't know." He leans his forehead against mine. "Do you love me?"

"That's for me to know and you to find out," I say and scrunch up my nose. "And what about you?"

"What about me?"

"All those times you hugged me and were so worried about me and cared for me? Does that mean you love me too? All those times when you stuttered and would mumble your feelings under your breath, blush when I would do something weird, and carried things for me, and-"

"Okay! Stop!"

"Then tell me," I demand.

"I-I..." he says mumbling the rest and sitting back to normal.

"Oh, and what about that little game you guys called 'See who can get Kat to like them first game'?"

"How did you find out? ...I wanted nothing to do with that! It was all their idea!"

(Hehe... The tables have turned...) "I know, I'm just messing with you."

He clicks his tongue in annoyance. "I knew that," he says trying to play it off cooly.

"Pssh, whatever," I say rolling my eyes for like the umpteenth time. "Just keep telling yourself that."

"I will," he says with a smirk. "Hey, do you think we can try that healing lesson again?"

"Sure!" I say and give myself a small scratch.

"I wish you would stop that."

"How else could we do it? Now kiss, tears, praying, or blood?"

"Blood," he says.

"Really? Alright, how you wanna do this?" I ask unsure.

"Just cut my arm."

"I don't wanna hurt you."

"Just do it and you can heal it afterwards."

"Fine," I say and bring out one of my three claws in my right hand. He sticks out his arm and I slice it.

"Oww..." he cries out.

"Sorry," I say. His blood starts dripping and I slip my arm underneath. The warm blood drips onto the wound on my arm and kinda tingles. I wipe away the blood but the wound is still there. "Looks like it's not by blood."

"Good," he says. I heal his arm and make my wound a little bigger since my healing factor is quickly healing it since it's a small wound.

"Alright, tears, kisses, or prayer?"

"Tears," he says. "How do I do that?"

"You hold your eyes open until they start to water," I suggest.

"Alright," he says and begins a staring contest with the wall. Eventually you can see his eyes stutter meaning they want to close and a tear is coming soon. "Ah, here comes one!" It rolls down his cheek and I quickly wipe it onto my wound.

I investigate the results and shake my head. "Nope, not tears either. Kiss or prayer?"

"I'll save the best for last," he says and puts his hands together in prayer.

I shake my head while watching the wound and he lifts his head up showing that he's done. "Nope."

"Then kiss is left?"

"Out of the simple ones, yes," I say. "And there's two ways to do it. One is to kiss the wound or wounds, but that could take a long time if there's more than one, which leads me to two. Two, you kiss on the lips which heals all the wounds at once."

"Are you just saying that so I will kiss you?" he asks deviously.

"No! It's true! Besides I have one wound, so you wouldn't need to!" I shove my arm at him. "Just kiss it!"

He gracefully grabs my arm and kisses the small wound. I can feel the energy healing the wound. He lets go and I look. "Looks like you heal by kisses, but by the looks of it it doesn't seem to be healing it completely."

"Then how did you know?" he asks.

"I felt it. The energy from your lips into my wound."

"That strangely sounds really sexy," he says and gives me a sly grin.

"Pig!" I say, laughing and lightly punch his arm.

"Couldn't help myself."

"I know, which is oddly more weird. I think we've been around each other too long."

"I don't think we've been around each other enough."

"Weirdo," I say with a laugh. "Don't become such a flirt like Johnny. Ah! Johnny and the others I need to get back to them!"

As if on cue the doctor returns. "I'm back."

"Good, I will be back later to check on Jason."

"What about me?" Lucas whines.

"You're coming with me."

"Wait, what?"

"Yeah, you need to come and eat lunch and I'm sure the others will want to see you. Also, don't tell them anything about Jason, just say you can't say if they ask."

"Alright, I got-chu," Lucas says.

I snap open a portal to the garden and we step through.

"I'm back and I've brought a guest!"

They all look towards me and their eyes grow wide. I guess he does grow a little when he takes out his wings completely.

"Lucas!" they shout and we sit down.

"How have you been, Prince?" Johnny asks.

"Please, don't call me prince, it doesn't sound right like princess does. Right, my princess?" Lucas says looking towards me.

"Whoa, my princess?! Ooh, this makes me question your relationship!" Johnny exclaims.

"He's more likely calling me that way to tease me."

"Well, you do know why we've been sent to search for each other, right?" Lucas asks.

I sigh. "I do." {We can talk about that when we're alone.}

"Why would we have to talk about it alone?"

"She didn't even say anything!" Shane exclaims.

"Telepathy, remember?" Zack says.

"We can surely talk about it in front of them," Lucas says. "It's not like we need to hide anything."

"Hide what?" Johnny asks.

"That we are having an arranged marriage to officially unite angels and demons."

They're silent for a moment while the info they just received sinks in.

"What!?" they yell all at once.

"Why would you tell them that? I can't believe you..." I say and heave a big sigh. "Yes, we are assumed to be engaged already."

"Wow... You're a little young aren't you?" Johnny asks.

"Well, yes, it will officially be announced once we're old enough."

"I believe it will be once Kat turns 21, since I'm a year older," Lucas says with a grin.

"How would that work? If you are both the heirs to the throne, would you always be separated?" Johnny asks.

We both laugh. "We probably won't rein for a very long time," I say. "Unless one of our parents back down."

"Our parents won't be dying for at least another 10,000 years," Lucas says.

"10,000!? How old are your parents!?" Johnny shrieks.

"Incredibly old," we both say.

"Would you live that long too?" Shane asks.

"Yes and considering that we are only 15 and 16 we have a long way to go," I say. "We will most likely look like this for a while."

"I know we said that we were half human half angel/demon, but we aren't exactly 50/50," Lucas says.

"More like 75% demon/angel and 25% human," I finish. "The demon/angel genes take over the human genes, which enables us to have delayed aging. All demons and angels do."

"Some more than others," Lucas says.

"I wish I could be young looking longer," Johnny says. "Well, after I turn 21." He grins. "Then I can get the hot young chicks."

"If you even get any," Shane says.

"Hey!"

"True," Zack says.

"Really!? You too?!" Johnny fusses.

I giggle. "Typical guy..." Rolling my eyes I stand up causing everyone to look at me.

"You going somewhere?" Lucas asks.

"No, just stretching..." I say and lift my arms to the sky. "A little tired..." I sit back down.

"I still can't wrap my head around all of this..." Shane says.

"Because you are a mere human," Hans says walking up to us. "And may I add with the brain span of a mouse."

"Hans. That's enough. Anymore rude comments to my guests is a cell with your name on it," I say in a threatening tone.

Hans swallows hard. "Yes, Princess..." he says with a bow. "It will not happen again..."

Even though it wasn't directed towards them the guys swallowed hard as well except Lucas.

"Good. Now, what is it you need?"

"His Highness would like to speak with you..."

I sigh. "With or without them?"

"With."

"Great..." I complain and turn towards the group. "You ready to go meet my father?"
