Ash's P.O.V

Right after I had split up from Piper, I had found a decent spot. I went to the top bunk of the girl's bunk beds. This one is currently not in use due to our three members, including I.

I wrapped the blanket over me, and laid there. Off in the distance, I could hear Gary scream, "Ready or not, here I come!"

Now I know that the game has started.

We play the team type of Hide n' Seek. Where if the person who is it, finds a hider, the hider is one the Seekers' side. (Basically Manhunt, these are little kids they don't use it in that term.)

This was a game of creepiness. Just sitting here in solitude, till a dude finds you. Gives' me goosebumps.

It's quiet here... A bit too quiet... -.-
Maybe I should rotate. Switch positions, move around. Maybe I should go into a spot he's already checked, because what person would check the same spot twice. This plan is foolproof. I'm so smart.

I start to hear footsteps coming from down the hallway. Could it be Piper? Should I take the chance? Idk.

I can hear the footsteps getting closer to me. This was the scary part of the game. Hiding in your little spot till the seeker is near you and when he is near you, you feel extra scared because you don't know if he knows you are there or not. Maybe it'll be like the movies. You know when the kid is under the bed and the criminal walks into the room to try and find the child. The child is scared out of their mind while the criminal is walking around the room searching. And soon what is to come is, since the child is under the bed the criminal doesn't look under the bed for some reason is what you think. But soon the criminal takes a sudden halt. You the child are very scared because you noticed that he had stopped right in front of you. Their feet just pointing in your direction.

You're terrified at this moment. You don't know what to do. You don't want to give away your position, but you don't know if they know that you're there. Soon it turns out all right, because they turn around and walk towards the door to soon be outside of the room.

But that only works in movies. I heard that some people get caught easily while under the bed, because of the movies. The movies have shown one of the most obvious spots to hide in. So now that'll probably the first spot for people to check.

So now is what that position feels like. I am the child, trying to hide from the criminal seeker, A.K.A Gary.

The footsteps can be heard just a couple feet away. Just the distinctive tone in every step he took, made me want to stutter in my thoughts. It made me want to give up and let myself get caught.

No I won't get caught that easily. If he wants to catch me, than I'll put up a fight. I should think a plan of some sort.

Gary could be seen walking past me. The tearful tone of his slow footsteps overwhelms me. I'm waiting for the perfect moment.

He's heading towards our bunk. How dumb is he? I knew this was a smart idea, hiding on Piper's bunk was the smartest decision I've made all year.

*kriggle kriggle* Ooohh Arceus! That startled me. There is balled up pieces of paper here. Why is it up here on the top bunk? Piper does everything and sleeps on the bottom one.

I start to open the crumpled up pieces of paper.

So... Detailed. Is this supposed to be me? The design and texture, this is great. I knew Piper knew how to draw, but this is great. She has a real gift.

The picture was displayed in my head now. It was a picture of a raven-haired boy getting his face pounced on? By another face that's from a girl with long golden brown hair. The scene and background look beautiful.

But what's this supposed to be? What is happening to the boy...? Well... Me? Looks painful. But I look like I'm just going to sit there forever. Weird.

"What's up Ashy!?" A voice had startled me from my thoughts. The voice being very familiar. I knew who it was the instant my ears have picked up the sound. It was Gary.

"Uuuh... Nothing!" I yelled out suddenly, not wanting him to know I was invading Piper's privacy.

It was now or never now. I had to act quickly now, if I wanted to survive and be last alive. In this case, last to be tagged.

That is when suddenly I have lunged my body from the top bunk of the girl's bunk to the floor. I thought I would maybe break something. Like myself.

Landed with both feet on the floor. "Phew" I grunted aloud, as I started to sprint down the hallway, trying to be the farthest I could be from Gary.

I just ran and kept on running, not caring about my surroundings. Sure, there were a couple obstacles in the way. But I still got past them quickly and smoothly.

"Oh craaap!" I yelled out loud. "Dead end!"

What should I do now?

"You're all mine now Ashy!" I heard off in the distance, sounding like it was getting closer every second.

Soon to be recognized as Gary.

"Gary.... I was hoping not to do this to you!" I remarked, losing all hope in myself.

"Time for you to join the dark side." Gary asserted. "You shall help me find Piper and bring her to our side once I'm done with you!" He added.

"Never!" I let out. "Over my dead body!" I added.

"Well I guess then." Gary sighed. "Now be mine!" He let out, adding onto.

That is when Gary has leaped down to try and get me. But from my learnings, I was to quick for him. I jumped out if the way just barely before he could lay a finger on me.

I juked Gary pretty badly. I tilt my head to see Gary on the floor. I turned and started to run off back into the hallway. I just couldn't stop running. My legs could've went on forever.

That is when I started hearing footsteps loudly collaborate from directly behind me. I turn my head for a split second and see Piper. Maybe I should run off with her. She has been hiding this whole time and me nor Gary has found her. She probably knows where all the good spots in this cabin are.

I turn around to start and follow Piper. Should I call for her to know I'm following her? If I make noise Gary will know where we are. I'll just follow till we get to someplace safe.

She is making her way into the bedroom.

She looked like she knew what she was doing, until suddenly she halted immediately. She has stopped to quickly and unknowingly out of the blue, for what?

Suddenly she turns around like she knew I was right behind her. What is she doing!!?

I was running to fast. I suddenly ran into her.

It was only seconds when I found out I was laying down on the floor. With.... with Piper on me!!!??

She mumbles something to herself.

I feel really dizzy at the moment. Oh wait Piper is here! We need to hide.

That is when suddenly I can feel Piper picking her head up from my chest completely.

Am I okay? Is Piper alright?

Our eyes lock on to each other's.

I have never noticed Piper has beautiful crimson brown eyes'. Wait what!!?? Did I just say that? Is it even in my vocabulary? I'm acting weird today or something. I can't look away. Our eyes are locked on to each other's.

Why doesn't she look away? Does she have the same feeling of solidness...?

I can feel her shaking from "freight?"

Why is she shaking so much? Is she scared? What happened?

She is completely on top of me. But she is shaking like a was a serial killer staring into my next victim. What should I do? I can't move... Why cant I move?

My body feels paralyzed, stunned. But why? Pleasure, fear? Just something I don't know how to answer at the moment.

"Pip-" was all I could let out, until I was interupted by my sudden actions.

What's happening now?

Bulging, is all I could feel. Creeping, is what I think is happening.

They told me this was regular but this is only happening for my 2nd time.

I've only done this one other time. That was my mom took me to this 5 star gourmet, and I saw the great 10 foot chocolate water fountain. You could grab a desert of any kind and sprinkle the chocolate on it or dip it through the waterfall. It was the greatest sight of my life.

But now is different. I thought it only happens with food.

Is it Piper?

I could hear soft footsteps climbing up the stairs outside of the cabin door. It wasn't long till you could see the door open, with the little creaks it would make every time contact was made with it. Scary.

The sudden opening of the swinging door startled me. I suddenly lost Piper's gaze and I was free. I look to the front door behind Piper's motionless body on top of mine. And I couldn't believe who was there. It was Serena!
