Serena's P.O.V

I was hugged out of nowhere. I was forced to open my eyes.

I'm shocked. The person hugging me is Ash. But why? He has another.

Just the thought of the other made me tear up inside. It looks like he noticed, because he greatened his embrace.

Still shocked, I hugged back by wrapping my arms around him.

This was sending down Butterfrees in my stomach. It feels like my stomach is being engulfed in happiness and joy. It made me warm. It made my heart want to burst into joy. It's all pretty obvious now, because I can feel my cheeks heat up. So I'm blushing. I sure hope I'm not though.

Ash's embrace makes me feel safe. It makes me feel like no worries. Like I shouldn't worry about a thing that's happening around us.

Is this the true meaning of safety? I was learning all about safety. It seemed like a cohesive word for me at first. But now it feels like it's all I can say at this moment. I didn't want this moment to end. The condition of being protected. The feeling of well-being by being with the one you love. I understand it now. I can feel it now.

"Serena." Ash said pretty weakly.

Was he worried about me? But why? Could he possibly feel the same way about me? But he can't he already has someone.

I looked to the side of Ash. Oh my Arceus. She's right there.

What does she think about this. Her ----- hugging another girl. All up on another. I would be ticked. This makes me question their life together.

"Serena, I thought you would seriously leave this time." Ash said.

He did worry about me! The thought just made my cheeks heat up. This was the best feeling I've had so far.

"Ash, we have to go now!" The unknown girl I refer to as Ash's lover said. She sounds like she really doesn't want to be here. I'm a bit confused. You can see the agony in her eyes. It looks like I'm the reason she is acting like this.

She tugged on Ash's arm so they can get a move on. "What's wrong, Piper?" Ash asserted.

Piper... That must be her name.

She looked depressed now. I feel so bad. But then again I really don't know what I did wrong.

"Ash.... Please..." She whimpered. I could feel Ash loosen his grip on me. He sighed then turned around and left with her. He just left. Didn't even bother to say bye. Or even Cya Later. I don't know how to feel about this. It looked like Ash wanted to stay with me. But it also looked like he would rather be with her. I'll think about it later. I have responsibilities at the moment.

"Well wasn't that something!" I heard from right above me. It was the Professor. "Great choice.... I see real potential in Ash. He is a great kid. But... He could have great tempers at time." He sighed. "Reminds me of my grandson Gary. Also his best friend. Gary is just to over-confident. I guess you could see that as a good thing. But not so much. You should only want to win so much." He gave out a slight chuckle.

"Anyway we should make our way to the office!" He assured.

What does he mean by "Great Choice?" Does he know about my- "AAAAHHHHHH" screams in head.
Ash having a temper? That can't be Ash he's so sweet and nice. I can't imagine him being mean in any way.

He reassured me that we should go to the office. I nodded in agreement. I'll start thinking about how the day was going once I reach my cabin. Today had many twist and turns. Maybe it would be just today that bad stuff like this would happen? Idk. But I hope the rest of camp is great. I can't wait for the events. And for the fun times to start to begin.

We started heading towards the office. I took one last peak at everyone and everything in the cafeteria. Just one thing caught my eye. It was Zach. He was looking straight at me. I waved a bit startled. He seemed to have been enjoying it. He waved back at me.

But what I haven't seemed to notice till now is... The girl that had bullied me is sitting right beside him. No wonder why she called him hers. They are dating. He looks like he's annoyed of her though. Why does he stay with her if he doesn't like her. Maybe I'm just wrong. I've had been acting weird this whole day. Just the feelings ;-;.

The girl gave a glaring look. I decided to look away with my arms crossed. I looked back in about 7 seconds. Zach is getting a kiss from the girl on the cheek.

I didn't feel much from this. It was a kiss and I really could care less. I felt so much more just when Ash was getting his hand held. But why?

I decided to look away from the situation. Maybe I had little feelings about this. But before I could look away, Zach had stared upon me once again. It's like he had no emotion from it. He flashed a smile at me and winked. I was startled by the turn of events.

Uuuuuhhmm... I'm confused.

I can feel my cheeks heat up just a little. AM I BLUSHING!!?? Am I falling for Zach as well? I don't want to like more than one guy. Maybe I should go away now.

I turned around and the Professor was just a bit ahead. I started to run towards him. I finally caught up.

"The office is just right ahead." He assured.

We have finally made it to the office. I've walked to the counter. "Excuse me! May I check into a cabin?" I asked the lady behind the desk.

Professor Oak's P.O.V

I walked up next to Serena. "Hey Serena I got this you can go sit down till I'm done." I assured her. "It's ok Mindy just give her the room with my grandson. He only has 3 people in his group right? They still need 1 more female."

"Oh okay Professor." Mindy replied. "If I may ask, how'd you know that without checking the rooms or anything like that?" Mindy added kind of shocked he knew.

"Oh my grandson Gary just rants about all day how he wants a cute girl in his group because the one girl there is falling for his friend." He gave out a loud chuckle. Young love. "I guess you can say Gary will grow up to be a ladies man." He asserted, laughing out loud.

"Okay sir." Mindy replied. Now she is going onto the computer and signing Serena in.

"She is now checked in sir." Mindy announced. "Thanks Mindy. Maybe we can go somewhere after the day is over?" I replied with a wink to it.

"Key-word -Maybe- sir." Mindy hinted while giving a slight giggle. "Well I've tried. Maybe I'll see you at 8." Emphasizing on the "maybe".

"Okay Serena, I've got you checked into your new cabin. You're now a part of Team Pika. Just find the cabin with the Pikachu symbol on it." I explained to her.

"Fine sir, I guess this is where we say our goodbyes for now. Cya later Professor." Serena said giggling.

Serena's P.O.V

Now I walk out of the office doors. My journey at camp has just begun. Now I walk to my assigned cabin. I could see it in the distance.

After about a minute of walking, I've made it to the front of the cabin. I give out a large exhale. Getting ready to see my new roommates. Once I've opened the door I couldn't believe what I am looking at.
