"Ash..Ash...Ash!" Someone yelled out to me. I open my eyelids solemnly. The slower the easier it was for me. Pain drove through my body. My vision was blurry, my face was soaked. But it wasn't my tears. I had misty eyes. The blurry vision was overwhelming. My state of mind felt obsolete.

My body felt paralyzed for what seemed to be forever. Where am I? What is going on? What's happening? Why can't I move? What time is it?

I felt like I had been sleeping for an eternity. I had my face leaning up  I was practically staring at the ceiling.

The blearing lights from the ceiling was sending rays through my face, as if my whole head was made of glass. It didn't feel wrong. I could just sit here, nothing feels bad. I'm not feeling anything. What is wrong with me? I can look at the light all day and not blink or feel the need too. Weird.

"Ash" a serenading voice had come in from my side. Sobbing can be heard in the mixture of the downing tone. That voice... I give a blank stare, but inside I'm shocked. I thought she was mad at me? Why would she be here? Serena.

Picturing Serena having faith and dignity in me was enough to make me break the spell of this paralysis. I push through to try and start to move. I have succeeded.

I look around.

Ceiling...

Lights...

Table...

Wall...

Door...

Bed...

I sighed. I though- my mind was interrupted by me being so clumsy. Right beside lies a restless body.

Is she dead? She's just lying there.

"Serena" I whispered into her ear for her to wake up. Nothing happened. "Serena.... Hello?" I said a bit louder than before.

Murmuring can be heard coming from the girl to my side. "Serena... Is that all you're going to think about?"

"Hmm?" I reply dumbfounded. "What do you mean?"

The girl to my side picks her head up from the bed and replies, "Is she all you can think about? You barely even know her... There are other people that you might've known forever that you won't even give a chance...." She responded weakly.

I still don't get what she means. But her mood and attitude makes me feel down.

"If you care about her so much why'd you do all this. Don't you think if she cared about you she would've been here Ash..!?" She asserted.

My blank stare turned into an astonished sight. What she has told me. I don't understand. Why would she be here. I just fell asleep and am waking up. Aren't I?

That is when it hit me. I'm not in my room. The surroundings are so much different. It isn't what I have seen before I went to bed. "Where am I? How'd I get here?"

"What do you mean Ash? Don't you remember we are in the infirmary. Do you not remember anything?" She said.

The startled look on my face was penetrating. It could blow through 3 tanks if there were any here.

"You've been saying my name quite a bit. How come I've never seen you before?" I asked.

The girl to my right suddenly gets up and heads to a nearby table. While there I can see her assorting things around disarmingly. She then picks something up and motions it towards her face. She turns to face me and it was.... Piper.

"Piper" I whisper.

Tear marks can be seen scattered across her face. Only one question zoomed out across my mind. Why?

Life around me was being startled. The redundancy of time has taken affect. Piper is moving closer and closer by the deformed seconds passing by. Just the thoughts and quivering of what's about to happen shrivels my heart inside. My body starts to wince in pain. My mind to be exact. Piper is now only a couple inches away from me. I can feel her presence surrounding me. What is going to happen? I kept on asking myself. Why is everything so slow? I'm feeling like I'm about to hyperventilate.

Just as my body felt paralyzed by the moment, Piper can be seen taking off her glasses. The view was fantastic. How come I've never seen her without them? She is beautiful. Wait what? Did I just say that? Only food has beauty... ;-; why a representative being?

She starts to stroke through my hair, and tells me, "Ash, I've had a lust for your hair for quite a while. But what more? Well I'll show you what I've liked more."

She leans in closer to my face, so we are only centimeters apart. Her warm breath can be felt across my face. What's happening? I hyperventily scream to myself in my mind. Her warm breath has the nice serene smell a girl should have. The practice of air poking at my face gently made me feel warm inside. But it wasn't enough. She is still getting closer to my face. Her eyes seem to close in the process.

Suddenly my mind starts to flip. My whole body can be seen turning into bright colors. I'm dying? No it was a festivity. My brain couldn't handle the pressure and I start to have a spasm frisk throughout my body.

Seconds later, pitch black is all I can see. I start to open my eyes gently and slowly. Only to see Piper right beside me with her head on top of mine. She was checking on me. For what?

"Ash, are you ok? You were flipping out in your sleep!" Piper had answered. My thoughts over exhilarated. It was just a dream!
