Serena's P.O.V

Walking up the steps I almost trip. "Wwoooooohh!" luckily I was holding on to the railing, so I didn't completely fall.

"Aren't I so lucky!?" I said out loud sarcastically.

"This is Pika cabin, it looks nice. Can't wait to see my roomies!" I said aloud in excitement.

I'm in front of the door. The front door. I took a deep breath. Inhale then exhale. Then I opened the door in front of me.

The sighting was unbearable. Ash and Piper.

I knew they were a thing. What do I mean "were?" They obviously still are.

Just for a second I found Ash staring straight into me. The look of sorrow and pity.

I couldn't help but tear up. The sight of the only person you've and probably will ever talk to in a place as big as this. Also... A person who.... You've had feelings fo-

I suddenly burst into tears. I couldn't hold it in anymore.

I could see Ash running towards me. I didn't want him to be near me. I didn't want to be near anyone for awhile. As he was trying to come over to where I was I stepped back.

"Stay away from me!" I yelled out.

The emotions just flowing through me. I can't take this. I turned around and start to run.

"Serena!" He yelled out.

Why can't he just stay away from me? I want to be alone right now.

I could feel hands being place on my shoulders.

I opened my eyes only to see Ash's face just a couple of inches from mine.

His chocolate brown eyes. The inferior design to them. Our creator just made this one special. To bad he can't be my special one...

The thoughts of Ash never being mine just flooded through my head.

He doesn't deserve me... He's perfect and I'm the girl no one wants to sit next to. I am the girl who gets denied to do anything.

Ash already is with someone and I can't do anything about it!

I was overwhelmed with sadness. I couldn't seem to breath.

"Serena, it wasn't what it looked like" He whispered to me.

What does he mean "it wasn't what it looked like?" I've seen it with my own eyes. Is he just going to lie to me in my face? I thought he was king hearted...

"I saw the whole thing..." I gave out.

I couldn't bare but take Ash's grip off my shoulder, turn around, and run away.

I looked down to see the front stairs. I started to go down them as quickly as possible. I made it down to the bottom.

"Serena!" A voice seeming to screech from behind me.

I turned my head while running to see what was happening and that girl was holding on to Ash.

She can have him... ;-;

Ash's P.O.V

"Ash... You don't have to do this." Piper let out weakly.

"Just get off me! I need to help her!" I asserted aloud.

Piper went quiet.

I released myself from Piper's grip.

I started to run towards Serena. I tried to catch up to her, but the stairs were in my way. Suddenly I couldn't feel anything under my legs and gravity did its job.

"AAAAHHHHHH!!!" was all I could let out at the moment.

I stumbled all the way to the bottom. I probably look like a fool now.

"Haahaahaa!" I could hear from the top of the steps. It was Gary. "How'd you get down there Ashy?" He added.

I looked up to see. Gary is so annoying sometimes. I loom to the side of Gary and see Piper. But something is wrong. She is seeming down all of a sudden. Was it because of me? She is just staring at the floor. What should I do?

The pain from the fall was overwhelming, I had forgotten all about Piper do to this. I have to get to Serena!

I get up to get ready to run. Dang, Serena is probably long gone by now. I think I saw her go this way.

As I start to speed up in that direction I stumbled.

The pain!

"Aaahh!" I yelled.

I need to get to Serena. I need too...

I got up to try and run again, but the same outcome just prevails.

"Hey Ashy, what's wrong? Can you get up?" Gary had asked from a distance.

"I think I'm injured but I'll be alright." I reassured, trying over and over again to get up, but keep on failing to do so.

"I have to find he-" I was interrupted by Piper's sudden appearance.

"Maybe you can just forge-" She stated, but was interrupted by me.

"No Piper... I have to see her and tell her what happened." I scolded quietly, but loud enough for Gary and Piper to hear.

What has been up with Piper lately?

Now Piper just stays quiet and bows her head down. Our surroundings and everything is now quiet.

Sniffles can now be heard. It was Piper. Is she crying?

Did I just make Piper cry? I just didn't like how she was trying to make me forget about Serena... Or was she? I didn't let her finish. Maybe she was going to talk about something else. I'm a horrible person.

"Piper I'm sorr-" I was interrupted.

Piper started to walk away.

She's leaving... Piper nooo...

I'm trying to speak but nothing would come out of my mouth. I can barely feel myself breathing.

What is happening with me? Why can't I speak? Why can't I do anything?

I just had to stand there and watch Piper walk away into the vastness of the camp. By the direction she is going it looks like she is walking back to the cabin, maybe take the day off and sleep in.

"Woah Ashy. I didn't know that's how you felt about her!" Gary subsided.

Sudden shock I felt.

"Felt what? And this way about who?" I questioned him.

"Both" he exclaimed, giving me one of his signature smirks.

What do you mean? Gary is weird.

I tried one last time to get up and have finally succeeded.

Whatever I'll talk to Gary later and maybe apologize to Pip- . Uhh maybe she might need her time.

I start going in the direction I saw Serena head last. It was pretty much just straight-forward.

Moments Later

"Serena!" I yelled... No response.

"Serena!" I yelled again, still no response.

I couldn't find her. She couldn't have gone that far.

I turn the corner, all of a sudden I tense up. My eyes want to water, but I can't. My heart felt like it has been flung open by someone just repeatedly stabbing it with a dagger. Blood spewing everywhere, dignity and self-esteem lowered, now drowsy.

I have accomplished on my mission. But have one flaw doing so, there was one wrong piece in this puzzle, or the puzzle was unfinished and pieces were lost without me knowing. Well now I guess it has been restored.

I have found Serena, but only to see she is clinging onto... Zach!
