REN POV

This story is made and dedicated to/ for my friend LtheSenpai .

I woke to the sunlight blinding my eyes as I tossed around my bed. I sat up and rubbed my eyes before trying to adjust them to the brightness. When I got used to it I yawned, then stretched my body. I ran my hand through my hair and pet my dog that was waking up next to me. I pulled the covers off of me and got out of bed.

I stretched once more and started walking towards the kitchen. I opened my refrigerator and noticed that there were no eggs. I groaned and made my way back to my bedroom. When I entered I immediately grabbed a light blue sweatshirt and dark blue jeans with black vans. I also decided to pick up my fake round glasses.

I checked my mirror and tried to fix my messy mop of hair but failed. I decided to keep it the way it was and grabbed my keys afterwards. I made my way outside to my car. When I opened the door it was colder than usual but at this point I didn't care. All I care about are my eggs.

I locked the door and walked towards my car. When I sat down in my seat I started the ignition and waited for it to warm up. When it was warm enough I pulled out of my driveway and made my way to the grocery store. When waiting at a red light I checked my phone for any updates of some sort.

Once the light turned green I placed my phone down. While driving I remembered about the other items I needed to buy. Knowing myself I would've forgotten about them. When I arrived at the store I parked my car and made my way inside. I made sure to lock my car beforehand though.

When I stepped inside I was greeted by one of the store clerks. I greeted him back and grabbed a cart. I made my way to the eggs first. When walking around the dairy aisle I picked up a gallon of milk and some cream cheese. I reminded myself to grab some bagels later when I went to the bakery aisle.

After getting mostly everything I remembered to grab strawberries. When I stopped by the fruits I grabbed a packet of both strawberries and grapes. While trying to grab them though I noticed another hand reaching for them. We made contact and I quickly pulled away before saying an inaudible "sorry". I heard a low "oh" and giggle.

I turned my head towards the direction of the voice only to be met by a man no younger than me with brown hair that reached to his eyebrows. I felt my face instantly go hot and looked away. He giggled again and I internally screamed at how nice his voice sounded.

"Sorry I didn't think you were also reaching for the strawberries."

I looked in his direction and got lost into his eyes as I tried to explain myself.

"I-uh I y-yeah sorry."

I quickly turned away to leave but he grabbed my wrist lightly. I froze and blushed again. I slowly turned my head and noticed him smiling without showing his teeth. He picked up the packet of strawberries and turned my hand around so my palm was facing the ceiling.
He placed them on my hand and let go.

"You can have them."

"Uh but you wanted them so I think you should have them." I reached out my hand to give the fruit to him.

He put hand in front of it and shook his head.

"Keep it, I wasn't getting them for me anyway I was getting them for my friend."

"Oh, well wouldn't your friend be upset at you if you didn't get them for him?"

"Eh, I don't really care if he gets upset I'll still get them for him someday."

"Oh, ok I guess."

"I'm Kim, Kim Taehyung." He reached out his hand so I could shake it.

I lifted my hand and shook his.

"I'm Ren."

"Nice to meet you Ren."

"Yeah, you too."

"Well I guess I should get going now, but maybe we'll see each other again, what do you say?"

"Uh, yeah."

"Great! I'm looking forward to it!"

"M-me too."

"By the way maybe you should cool your face down it's pretty red." He said and giggled.

He left and I stayed frozen until someone had to shake my shoulder. I got back into my senses and gathered everything else I needed. When I left the store it was raining. I groaned, lifted my hoodie, and walked towards my car with my groceries in hand.

When I sat down in my seat someone tappped my window and I turned my head only to be surprised by Taehyung's face. I rolled down the window cause it looked like he needed something.

"Uh hey."

"I know we just met but, I kind of don't have a ride home and I may or may not have followed you to ask for one."

"U-uh sure, just give me your address and I'll take you."
