You and Tigerclaw had been best friends since you were apprentices. You remembered that day like it was yesterday, and you vowed to always remember it.

You were always smaller than the other apprentices. They would often pick on you for your size. It had been just harmless words at first, but now, it involved actual physical pain. One tom had left a scar on you left cheek. Then the taunting stopped, and you heard a snarl. You looked up to see another apprentice standing defensively in front if you. You recognized that fur as Tigerpaw's. He had never joined the other apprentices in taunting you, in fact, he had nothing to do with it at all. So why was he here now?
"That's enough, Darkpaw!" Darkpaw was the main one who taunted you, and he was the cat who had clawed your face."
"Oh looky looky." He taunted as the other apprentices looked on. "Tigerpaw wants to help his pathetic mate. And trying to stand up to me, as if he thought he could win anything against me!" The other laughed.
"Teach him lesson, Darkpaw!" Anither brown tabby tom with blue-green eyes said(yea, my dad was an a**hat as an apprentice).
"With pleasure." Darkpaw snarled. He lept at Tigerpaw, but Tigerpaw dodged to the side.
"Slow and fat." Tigerpaw said. "You need to go out and train more." Darkpaw snarled and lept again, but this time, he dove low at the last second, causing Tigerpaw to fall.
"And you, need to learn to just stay out of my way!" They continued to fight, and you couldn't believe this cat was fighting a clanmate for you. You blushed slightly at the thought. You turned you attention back to the fight, and saw that Tigerpaw had his paw diwn on Darkpaw's thoat, claws out.
"Now," Tigerpaw panted. "You will leave (Y/A/N) alone, and you will refer to me as your superior. If you ever fail, i will remind you of this day, and beat you again, understood?" Darkpaw nodded, or as close as possible without cutting his neck on Tigerpaw's claws. Tigerpaw lept off him, and he ran iut the den, the others following. Tigerpaw turned to you, the fire still in his eyes slowly dieing. He licked at your cut, and you blushed harder.
"Come on, lets go you to the medicine den." He walked right next to you the way there, sat next to you during treatment, and back to the den.
"You ok?" He asked after a while. You nod your head. He nuzzled your fur, and after a moment's hesitation, yiu nuzzled back. And after that, you two had always been by the other's side.

You two were warriors now, and the unthinkable had happened after that: Tigerclaw becomes deputy, a kittypet comes to join the clan, an apprentice goes missing, a cat falls in love with another from a different clan, and Fireheart, the kittypet had revealed something to the clan: that Tigerclaw was the one who had killed Redtail out of ambition. He was currently in the process of being banished. All his followers had ditched him, both Darkstripe and Longtail. He was now looking at you, his last chance if somecat to follow him. His amber eyes bored into your (e/c) ones.
"Please! Please (Y/W/N)! Please come with me!" He pleaded. You looked around. Your family looked at you, their expressions unreadable. Your friends looks told you they wanted to stay. Firheart and Bluestar stared at you indifferently. You looked back to Tigerclaw and whispered,
"Im sorry Tigerclaw, but Thunderclan is my home. I dont know what I'd do if i ever left."
"You'd be with me!" He whispered back.
"I'm sorry Tigerclaw, i-i just can't." He was silent for a long while.
"Its fine." He hissed. "I understand." He said, suddenly cold. He walked to the camp entrance. "You'll all regret this Thunderclan!" He glared at you then at Fireheart. "Especially you." And he turned and left. You started to cry, and one of your friends walked up to you and held you.
"Ssshh. I know it's hard, but you did what's right. We all were hit hard, but we can't have an evil and ambitious leader." She murmured. You cried harder at the last statement. She just patted your back with her paw.

~~~~Time Skip~~~~

It had been moons since Tigerclaw left. In that time, he had chased the clan with dogs and had became leaders of Shadowclan. You were out for a walk in the forest alone. You had started doing this recently, to think about things in your head and relax. You were near the border with Shadowclan, when a familiar scent reached your nose. You looked around and saw Tigerstar staring at you with the same shocked expression as you.
"Wha- what are y- you doing here?" You managed to stammer out. He walked closer, a wicked grin on his face.
"Relax, I'm still on my clan's territory." He looked you up and down, and you found youself doing the same to him. His muscles seemed larger than when you last saw him, which was when he was banished from Thunderclan, as you refused to going to Gatherings. "You look nice." He said. Your eyes widened.
"Th-thank you?" You sighed. "Look, Tigerstar, I'm sorry for abandoning you like that. I didn't want to, really i didn't! But, i couldn't leave my family or the clan. It's where i born and raised, it's my home." You spoke, head down the whole time. When you looked up, Tigerstar was right in front if you, and you jumped back a little.
"I'm sorry too." He said. "I knew all this but, my ambitions took hold of me. I want you to stay in Thunderclan."
"But i-."
"No, listen. What you said made me realize what I've done, but i can't go back. I hate to admit it, but Firestar is strong. Hopefully he can give me a second chance as a rouge and we can be together then. But, i know im going to lose somehow. I wont be able to put aside my ambitions while I'm in that camp. Just stay in Thunderclan, i-I'll see you some other time." He said, tearing up. You were speechless as he turned and left bacj across the border. You heard rustling behind you and your best friend, Breezefoot was at your side, hissing at Tigerstar. You started to cry.
"(Y/W/N), are you ok?" She asked. "Did he hurt you?" You shook your head.
"L-lets g-g-go h-home." You said in between sniffles. The two of you walked back to camp, and you dried your eyes before you got to camp.

Its been simewhere around a moon since that run in with Tigerstar, and you were standing with Windclan, facing Riverclan and Shadowclan. Tigerstar had introduced his partner, Scourge. He was the leader of Bloodclan.
"Attck!" Tigerstar commanded. But Bloodclan stayed still. Tigerstar turned on Scourge. "Why aren't you and your clan attacking?!" He yelled.
"Because they follow my command, I'm afraid." He said calmly.
"Well then tell them to attack!" Tigerstar screamed. "Or else!"
"No." Tigerstar snarled and lept at Scourge. He tried to attack him, but Scourge dodged and delivered a blow that left all the clans speechless. Tigerstar fell with a scar that took up his whole belly. He would shake, become still, thdn repeat the process. He was lossing all his lives with just one blow. You didn't pay attention to what Scourge said, as you were staring at Tigerstar's dead body. You knew a battle was close, and you would kill anycat you have to to avenge him. For the first time in your life, you were ready to kill.
