For the longest time I thought

I wasn't

Human.

For the longest time I was sure that

Spacing myself away would make

Everything so much easier.

But, no.

I couldn't. I started strong.

But in the end

The side that takes more after my mother

Won out

And everyone began to trust me.

They look up me at big brother

They come to me for advice

They sit at my table

They join my groups

They laugh with me.

But I'm not sure if I'm really a monster anymore.

I'm not sure what I am.
