Physical Description
Shadow is seen as a slim, lithe, black she-cat with dark green eyes.

History
In Streamkit's Battle, Shadow is first seen as a warrior of RainClan, known as Swiftshadow. She is first mentioned in the allegiances, and then assigned to Streamkit as his mentor. On Streampaw's first day as an apprentice, Swiftshadow wakes him up early and brings him into the forest. She is seen to overreact and asks Streampaw if he will train twice as hard as any apprentice. Streampaw gets angry with her, and ultimately asks his father for a new mentor.

Streampaw was not given a new mentor, forcing Swiftshadow to deal with the deaf apprentice. She finds a good way to communicate with him, and is able to teach him like a normal warrior apprentice over the moons,

Swiftshadow is confronted by a Dark Forest cat by the name of Venom--she tries to run away each time, yet he finds her in her dreams. One day, she is chased by Venom, diving into a crack in the mountains. She lost her enemy, and wanders into the cave. She bumps into a cat, and he introduces her to the Tribe of High Spirits.

She was given the name Shadow that Runs at Night, or Shadow. While she has joined the tribe as a prey-hunter, she is seen in Battle at the Half-Bridge. In the first few chapters, she visits her friends in RainClan, but chooses to stay with the tribe for safety.
