History
Ivykit was born into SkyClan, long after the Clan found its way back to the Clans. All five Clans had shifted territory again. Ivykit snuck out as a kit with her siblings and denmates, Cloverkit and Spottedkit, led by Nightpaw. A moon later she and her siblings were apprenticed—Ivypaw to Brightlight, Flamepaw to Darktail, and Shinepaw to Splashleaf. Ivypaw constantly hunted and explored the territory, often accompanied by Flamepaw or Brightlight. At her first Gathering, she met a fellow apprentice: Ripplepaw from RiverClan. The two both liked each other and became quick friends, despite the warnings to not be too friendly at Gatherings. One day Ripplepaw, when they each were hunting near the border, asked if Ivypaw could begin meeting up with him. She told him her decision after a few days time, and it was a yes.

The two held secret meetings for many moons, until Ivypaw received her warrior name, Ivycloud, and Ripplepaw became Ripplescale. Then, ThunderClan got into a border skirmish with SkyClan. It was a fierce battle, enough so that Flamestorm (Ivycloud's brother) was killed in it. Devastated by the loss of a close friend and sibling, Ivycloud began meeting with Ripplescale more and more, giving excuses like how she was going hunting. They were believable, for she normally came back to the Clan with much fresh-kill. Eventually she became deputy when Redfang died from Greencough. She was a useful deputy, brisk and getting things done efficiently. But then she discovered that she was carrying Ripplescale's kits. Clovertail (formerly Cloverkit) had always been a good friend to her, and he offered to take the claim as father when Ivycloud told him and Shineflower (Ivycloud's sister) her secret. Eventually Ivycloud accepted, giving birth to Featherkit, a speckled silver she-kit, and Mossykit, a dark gray tom. Ivycloud did her best to carry on with her deputy duties, but the position was gradually given to Nightwhisper temporarily, and she stopped meeting up with Ripplescale. Featherkit and Mossykit became apprentices, giving Ivycloud her position back, and then Warriors as Featherbreeze and Mossystone. Later on Ravenstar lost her last life in a battle with ShadowClan, and Ivycloud stepped up to receive her own. She became leader, giving the deputyship to Nightwhisper, losing a few lives over the moons. Then RiverClan invaded to Ivystar's shock, and Ripplescale was in the middle of it. Just as he was about to be killed by a warrior of her own Clan, Ivystar sacrificed herself for her former mate, having all of her remaining lives ripped away as the claws sank into her neck. She joined StarClan with Flamestorm, watching on until gradually her close ones all joined her.

Many moons later, Ivystar was chosen to lead a new life, still in SkyClan, as Ivykit.
