A brown and black tom padded inside a cave. Along with him was his medicine cat, Shadowwind. His nose was filled with cold air. He decided to trot into the a cave room. He was in a room with a crystal in the middle. He was nervous, but he looked at Shadowwind.

"Touch the crystal." Shadowwind mewed and looked at Shadefoot. He nodded reassuring, then shadefoot took a deep breath and touched the crystal. Suddenly he was taken to starclan. He looked around the bright and lush forests.

"Welcome, Shadefoot." A voice came from the trees. A brown tabby she-cat was in the trees. She was looking at the cats.
"Sandstar!" Shadefoot yowled in delight. The last time he seen his old leader was when he saw her die, two sunrises ago. Since then he was mourning he didn't have the guts to go to the crystal.

"Hello, Shadestar!" A new cat padded up to him. This tom had a orange color pelt and green eyes. He also had a long tail. Shadefoot dipped his head politely and respectfully.

"Hello, Orangestripe." He mewed, suddenly he had s stuck of pain. A cat was in front of him. It was Sandstar. She was giving him a life.

"This life is for courage. May you use it wisely." The pain continued. More starclan cats gave Shadestar lives. "Good luck Shadestar."

Shadestar nodded and was about to wake up when he felt a something sharp on his tail. "Sorry but I need to talk you something." It was Sandstar.

"A earth will rise and more will come. Water,fire, and grass will continue to grow." She mewed and her eyes filled with terror. Suddenly her eyes turned red and she grew frail and then he woke up. He was panting.

"Lets go home and discuss that matter in private." Shadowind murmured and left out of the cave. Shadestar nodded but turned around. He felt like he was being watched but he followed his medicine cat back home.
