"They're coming! My kits are coming!" Autumn Leaves howled, making Holly Leaves jump out of his nest. "Shadow Leaves, hurry!"

Holly Leaves rushed over as well, she needed to watch the birth of her sister's kits.

"Stay calm, Autumn Leaves," Shadow Leaves meowed. "The first step is staying calm."

"Okay, okay!" Autumn Leaves gasped for breath. "I'm calming down."

"Good, now eat the juniper berries and push!"

Holly Leaves watched her sister eat the purple berries. The ginger-patched she-cat was worried for her sister.

"I can see the first kit," Holly Leaves told Shadow Leaves.

"Holly Leaves, go find a stick for Autumn Leaves to bite on," Shadow Leaves ordered.

"Sure."

Holly Leaves raced off into the tunnels to find a stick.

Holly Leaves returned with the stick in her jaws, Autumn Leaves was still having her first kit.

"Why isn't the kit coming out?" Holly Leaves asked.

"It's taking its time," Shadow Leaves replied. "Come on, Autumn Leaves, you can do it. After this one, there'll only be one more."

"I'm... I'm trying!" Autumn Leaves gasped for breath. "I didn't know it would hurt this much!"

"It'll get easier!"

"I hope you or all claw your--- Ow!"

"It's coming, Holly Leaves, after I releases it after biting the sac. I'm giving it to you!"

"Um... okay?" Holly Leaves echoed.

Holly Leaves didn't know what to do when she had the kit, the ginger-patched she-cat stared at it blankly after it was placed in front of her.

"You're meant to lick it!" Shadow Leaves growled.

"Oh, sorry!" Holly Leaves apologised and began to lick the kit.

"You can do it, Autumn Leaves, only one more!"

"I... I... can't!" Autumn Leaves cried.

"Yes, you can!"

"No, I can't. It hurts too much!"

"Think of the cats you love and it will be easier!"

Holly Leaves knew that her sister would be thinking of their father, their mother, her, their brother and maybe their WindClan family. And Mousewhisker, the thought popped into Holly Leaves' mind. Why would she? I know he's her mate but he's in ThunderClan...
