At the gathering, Amberblaze looked for Jaywillow. She was right behind me last time I looked but now she's gone. Amberblaze thought. She pops up and disappears. "Jaywillow!" Amberblaze called. "Jaywillow!" No answer. This is so annoying. Amberblaze thought. She saw a streak of gray fur pass by. Jaywillow! She followed Jaywillow to a group of RedClan cats. Perhaps she wants to talk to old friends. Amberblaze thought. That's normal at a gathering. "Jaywillow! We got to talk!!" She hissed, annoyed.

She then slapped him with her tail. "Jaywillow! For StarClan's sake! Listen!"

Jaywillow spun around. "His name's not Jaywillow," Said a tabby. His? Amberblaze thought. "This is Waterblaze." Amberblaze suddenly noticed that this cat looked very different from Jaywillow. He did have the same gray tabby markings as Jaywillow, but his fur was more blue than gray. Jaywillow had a light gray tabby coat with light blue eyes. Waterblaze had a blue-gray tabby coat with pale blue eyes. "Okay. Um...sorry you guys. Sorry 'Waterblaze'." Amberblaze awkwardly apologized. Waterblaze didn't seem to mind her little accident. "It's totally fine." He told her, purring. Amberblaze felt weird. Does he like me? She thought. No, he can't. It would be against the warrior code to like a cat from another clan. "Well anyway, I'll be going now. I have a friend I'm trying to find." Amberblaze meowed, weirdly. She tried to pad away. Waterblaze stopped her. "Please," He meowed to her. "Please stay." Amberblaze padded away. "No thank you," She said. "I need to find Jaywillow." Amberblaze scampered away. She ran a bit. Woah! There are a lot of cats here! I didn't know how many cats BlueClan and RedClan had all together! She thought. She then spotted a gray, tabby pelt. Jaywillow! For this time, really! "Jaywillow" She yowled. Hoping to not run into another tomcat. "Yes, Amberblaze?" Asked Jaywillow. "Look, we need to talk." Amberblaze meowed. Jaywillow purred. "About what?" Amberblaze was clueless. "Is it Wildfur?" Asked Jaywillow. Amberblaze shook her head. "No, not Wildfur, but we can talk about him if you like." Jaywillow looked happy. "Sure," She said. "So this one time-" Snowstorm shot up from his seat. "Be quiet!" He hissed. "The meeting is about to start!" Foxtail shot up, too. "Snowstorm!" He yowled. "Sit down, now!" Snowstorm sat down. "Okay, Foxtail, jeez." Duskstar rose to his paws. "I will speak first." Coralstar-the RedClan leader-nodded. "Very well," She said. "BlueClan is doing well. We have four new warriors. Flashfire, Wolfsong, Flarestripe and Leaftail." Cats from both clans started chanting their names. "Flashfire! Wolfsong! Flarestripe! Leaftail!" Amberblaze looked behind her to see the four new warriors. They looked proud. "We also have three new apprentices." Duskstar went on. "Gingerpaw, Jaypaw, and Whitepaw." Again, the two clans chanted their names. "Gingerpaw! Jaypaw! Whitepaw!" Duskstar nodded to Coralstar to speak. "RedClan is thriving, too. We have two new warriors. Embertail and Marshfur." "Embertail! Marshfur!" The two clans said. "The gathering is dismissed." Coralstar said.

Waterblaze ran up to Amberblaze. "Meet me at the half moon," He told her. She opened her mouth to speak, but Waterblaze was gone.
