Jaypaw burst through the thorn barrier. "Shimmerstar!" He gasped, dashing towards the large tumble of rocks. "Shimmerstar, WindClan is invading!"

The ThunderClan leader streaked down from the Highledge. "Where are they coming from?" She asked, her mew dark with worry as she skidded to a stop.

"I saw them." Jaypaw gasped. "They're invading from the tunnels!"

Shimmerstar's tail lashed. "I knew those fox-hearts wouldn't keep their promise!" The she-cat snapped. "Honeyfern, take Kinkfur, Iceleap, Littlespeck, and Leopardflow to the cave at the top of camp!" The black-and-white specked she-cat ordered.

"Sunnybreeze, take your apprentice, Wetmist and Cloudspots to the tunnel by the abandoned twoleg nest. And me and Flowerpetal will be guarding the camp."

Sunnybreeze nodded and beckoned for Jaypaw to follow with a flick of his tail, and bounded out of camp with Cloudspots, Wetmist and Jaypaw following him, swiftly bounding through the trees. As the patrol reached the abandoned twoleg nest, a harsh yowl sounded from behind them. WindClan had arrived sooner than the ThunderClan patrol! They must've ran through the tunnels to get there that fast...
