Crystalpaw had padded away from Silverpaw and Amanda as soon as the Gathering ended. She would stand up for the former kittypet against Stormpaw, but Amanda seemed too bright and energetic to be around for too long. At least, it felt that way to Crystalpaw. Besides, she hadn't gotten a chance to explore yet! Crystalpaw hoped she got to look around more before MoonClan left. Cats from both clans were beginning to gather, and OceanClan had already joined behind Sandstar,  who was still talking respectfully to Moonstar and the other cats under the tree stump, who were probably the deputies and medicine cats. She recognized Silvernight and Frostfoot, but there were two others who she didn't recognize. 

As Crystalpaw padded up to her father, Sandstar noticed the apprentice and asked Moonstar,  "Ah. Who's this?" Moonstar seemed to shine with pride as he replied, "This is my daughter, Crystalpaw. "

"Mm." Sandstar replied. "Did you name her after the Loner who you took in during leaf-bare?" The OceanClan leader asked. Moonstar nodded. 

"Yes." He replied. Sandstar cocked his head.

"And whatever happened to Crystal? " Sandstar pondered.

"She left after leaf-bare." Moonstar replied. "She didn't like clan life that much. I believe she went back to the small Twoleg farm that she lived in before she got lost and found us."

" Ummm..." Crystalpaw was confused, not having a clue about what the leaders were talking about. 

Sandstar turned to Crystalpaw again. 

"I've heard a lot about you. A lot of rumors from Silvernight, too. Said she'd never seen any cat run so fast through the forest. Apparently, Skyheart had a hard time reaching you once you knew someone was chasing you." Crystalpaw shuffled her paws.

"I thought it was the rats." She muttered, embarrassed. Sandstar laughed.

"It doesn't matter. Anyway," He turned to Moonstar. "Hopefully, we won't have to see each other until the next Moonlight Gathering." The two leaders nodded to each other before Sandstar padded in front of his clan. Moonstar nodded to the other two cats as they left.

"Bluewater." He said, nodding to the blue-gray tom. "Crowleaf." He said as he nodded to the black tom, who seemed like he was the medicine cat since he had sat next to Frostfoot during the Gathering. The two toms nodded back to Moonstar before following the rest of OceanClan. Sandstar flicked his tail and OceanClan followed their leader out of the Gathering Place and back to their territory.
