▪️Stripe▪️
Stripe screeched as she was picked up. She lashed out at the two legs. The one that picked her dropped her, and Stripe bolted away. She sniffed the air hoping to smell something fresh.
A small square hole with a clear thing in it was what was closest. She bolted to it, and the clear thing flew open. Rain drops drowned her as she exited. Tall dens spread out into the sky, and grey clouds over head.
Blinding lights came from black small trees, and monsters sped along the Thunderpath. Stripe hissed in horror as one swerved her way. She jumped back and water sprayed her, soaking her even more.
She ran along the side of it, Twolegs walking along it. Stripe was terrified. All the blinding lights, the Loud noises, Twolegs, monsters.
She came upon a ally of some sort, and serval other cats with scars and missing limbs sat upon large things. They turned there heads and one stepped forward. "Now, who are you?" The large brown and grey Tom asked.
He looked scrawny and not well-fed. "I could ask the same one here" Stripe countered. She suddenly had hit her confidence back and looked over the cats.
A white she-cat with a large stomach was curled up in a nest of garbage. A fully black Tom with serval scars along his face and side. One of them looked fresh. He lingered over the she-cat. And then there was the large Tom that had confronted her. He was a brown and grey pale Tom with a few new scars going along his side. Dried blood lingered around his fur.
The large Tom just sighed. "Whatever.." he said and slumped down. She hadn't noticed before but they all looked half-starved and half-sleep deprived. "Arnt you going to attack me?" Stripe asked him.
"Why would I? You smell of forest, a forest cat.." he suddenly tensed. He narrowed his eyes at her, serval questions popped in his head. "What are you doing out here?" He asked, curiosity taking over. "Well... I.. um... left" Stripe choked out.
All of the three cats lifted there heads. "Left? Why" both toms said at once.
"Of, issues." Stripe said. "Issues that could be solved..." she suddenly grinned at the cats. All of them turned there heads back to her. "What do you mean?" Asked the she-cat. "You said you where starving, right? Well the forest has plenty of food! And I could get you in"
▪️Lightingpaw▪️
Lightingpaw sat alone out side of camp. The night breeze ruffled her fur, and clouds rolled over in the sky. They seemed dark and menacing through the leaves of the trees. A bolt of lighting striked the ground somewhere nearby, and thunder followed.
Lightingpaw had almost lost everything over the last couple of days. It seemed like ages ago. But the deaths of the past few days where still fresh. Paw steps behind her made the little she-cat turned around.
The clan leader was behind her and sat down. "It's getting pretty late, maybe you should get to sleep? It's going to be a long day ahead of you-" Honeystar was cut off by a viscous growling. A black pelt darted out of the bushes and straight for Lightingpaw and Honeystar.
Before any of them could react, a lighting bolt over head crashed down and lit up a bush and the forest. Smoke filled the air as it burned. Rain poured down and the dog was no where in sight, as if it had disappeared.
Sizzling sounds came from the bush and Honeystar quickly pulled the frozen Lightingpaw into camp. "What just happened!" But Lightingpaw was cut off form another bolt of lighting.
In the morning the clouds lifted and the storm was gone, though maybe branches lingered in camp and large puddles were formed.
